  1. Thanks for the advice. Trusting Jesus asked how I am so I will say OK thank you. I am OK. I am happily married, but the issues of the past don't just run away when you get married. I am still suffering from PTSD and CFS although they are both so much better than they were. Praise God! However, if I have had a bad night on Saturday, then it really is a challenge to get to church on Sunday morning and put on my happy face - hence my question. Most people in the church aren't even aware of my medical issues so I guess their 'How are you?' really is just a greeting as many of you said. Thanks and God bless you
  2. I hate it when people in church ask me this question - How are you? They are all smiles and inside I'm hurting. What should I do? Tell them the truth and spoil their Sunday morning or lie and say 'Fine thank you'?? This is such a dilemma because I really don't want to lie and I also don't want to spoil their Sunday morning. In anycase, are they really wanting to know how I am or are they just being polite as it is the 'nice' thing to say when you meet someone in church?
  3. I don't have any words ... but I do have some hugs for you ... Praying for you too.
  4. Coming from the UK and doing my weekly shop every week in Tesco I feel entitled to laugh at this fiasco!!!!!!
  5. So sad that these things are happening!
  6. I love the tune that this song is sang to, but I do not consider it a hymn at all. To love your country more than God in my opinion is wrong and this is certainly how I understand the words, especially found in the first verse.
  7. Yes, I have been to Israel twice and loved both trips. It really brought the Bible alive for me - especially the Sea of Galilee as unlike places like Jerusalem, this wouldn't have changed since Jesus' time. It was certainly a wow! for me to go there. I went with a British Christian organisation and we had NO trouble so I wouldn't let that worry you too much.
  8. Just cleaned my keyboard - thanks!
  9. What a dreadful situation. Yes, it happens too often and it simply shouldn't!!!!! I would like to go back to a time when people actually cared more for people than bureaucracy! :whistling:
  10. Yes, I read this in the newspaper yesterday. It is pretty disgusting!
