  1. Paul did? We are told that scripture is Gods word, given through the Holy Spirit to those men whom He chose to write. Paul may of penned the books, but they were not his words, but Gods words given to him to speak and write. To say Paul entered your house 44 years ago is the same as saying Mary, the mother of Jesus, entered your life when you accepted Jesus. Words have meaning, be careful how you use them. Both Paul and Mary cannot be part of our lives in the sense you make it sound.
  2. With the elections starting up this fall, I am sure that if it looks like there is going to be a big change, we will see many more try to enter while Biden is still in power, before the "door closes".
  3. Would that be such a bad idea to shut the government down and stop it from destroying the US more than what it already has? Sin abounds and righteousness is damned. The interest alone on what we owe is 1 trillion dollars as of yesterdays news. How much mo0re can this country handle before it implodes???
  4. AI can be a very dangerous tool in the hands of those who do not follow God. Erick Stakelbeck has an hour long show on AI that was interesting, but not complete. It can be viewed on his web site or his You Tube channel.
  5. Make sure you vote this election! We need a government that is for the people, not the businesses.
  6. I would say it is more like Acts 17:10-11 Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
  7. I thought this image would be good to understand a little more of how the translators translated.
  8. I do wish they would expel the UN from the US as it is full of hate. There are no "Untied" Nations any longer.
  9. I do like the bagpipes and song, and also the history of Scotland, but that is not what the song is about and the combination of the two doesn't sit right with me. That's just my personal opinion.
  10. Are you saying that the relationship between a married couple is the same as with your neighbor? Why do you say this has nothing to do with marriage? Is it because the word "marriage" is not printed in black and white? This is the "loop-hole" men look for when they discuss marriage. "Well, scripture surely didn't mean not to marry an unbeliever ... God surely would of said it directly if it were so!", when He did, through Paul, when the Holy Spirit moved Paul to say "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? " That is not my opinion, Brother, it's scripture.
  11. I am not posting anything against the OP or what was mentioned in the OP, just what you posted. Is anything I said not true?
  12. The relationships are not the same. Where does it say that you and your neighbor become one? Does a friendship with a neighbor include "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’"? Are we joined with Christ the same way we are joined with our spouse? Be careful how you view biblical truths.
  13. Why is it when God says no, man looks for a work around; a way to justify why they do so even when they are told not to? No is no, plain and simple.
  14. They got who they voted for ... but be assured that elections are coming, but will they get here fast enough?
  15. This has been a long thread that seems to be focused on justifying tattoos, which is what humans do when they feel they are in the wrong, but don't want to shoulder the guilt or blame for doing what is wrong. They had tattoos back in Jesus day ... if it is so right, than why was He not plastered with them?
  16. When a child starts to learn to walk, they have to move their own legs while the parent holds them in balance. The child does not expect the parent to both move their legs for them and hold them in balance. Take the first steps by turning away from your addictions - say No More - and God will give you His strength when you need it. This only works when you continue to say no. Once you give in, you're on your own again until you've had enough once again. I know this first hand.
  17. in both English and Hebrew ... just found this artist!
  18. I would answer, no matter who it is.
  19. Thank you! It's nice to come across someone who is willing to follow the site rules!
  20. I don't have the ability to edit anyone's posts. If you click on the three dots in the upper right of the post (...) and choose Edit, you can highlight the video and delete it. Your new thread will have to be reviewed before it is visible to others. Usually, we ask that the time limit is kept to under 20 minuets, and since this video is over an hour long, it may take a couple of days before it's viewed.
  21. All videos are to be placed in the video section. Please do so @Mozart's Starling and delete this one here.
  22. Charles Stanley went home to be with the Lord on the 18th, at the age of 90. I have been watching him all my life and he was one of the most direct and graceful preachers on TV. I'm going to miss his teachings.
  23. If you click on your name, or avatar, it will bring you to your profile. In the upper left you will see your avatar, and in the avatar a small box in the lower left for your profile picture (avatar). Click the small box and you will be able to change your avatar.
  24. I plan on watching it, but with caution. I came out of the RCC early in my life but still remember what was taught to us that is not scriptural. They are heavy on tradition, but their theology was changed by the leading of the Pope's.
  25. Since Mel likes to use his imagination so much, I wonder what he could do with Frank Peretti's books? Now, that would be a movie I'd love to see. What makes me cautious with this new movie, the Resurrection, is that he will have to use his imagination to show what Jesus did for the three days he was in the grave, which is what concerns me the most. Filling in where scripture is silent is what creates false teaching and bad theology. If he did a Peretti novel, there would be nothing to be concerned about.
