  1. Yomotalking, What Would Jesus Do? Would Jesus truly get on the net if He were in the world today and minister online as well as offline? That answer is not one I can be sure of. Although I will say this, the world needs God and there can be more than one form of ministry. It all depends on the view taken on it. May God Bless You Danielle
  2. Who do I think Jesus died for? Personally, it is felt within my heart that God sent His one and only son to die for all. Not just the Jews, nor just the Gentiles...nor for just one people, but for all people. Romans 3:29 & 30 Is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also; Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. God is God of all, and surely he would send His son, Jesus to die for all. John 3:16 For God so loved the WORLD, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. May God Bless You Danielle
  3. Catholics deeply placed respect for Mary is something of which I can understand. Mary was after all, the mother of Jesus, and the woman of which followed Jesus even unto the cross. (If my understanding is correct, she like Mary Magdeline was there when Jesus died on the cross.) At the same time, I can also relate to those of which feel uncomfortable about prayers being lifted up to Mary, or praying to Mary or the Saints. After all, Jesus did teach us how to pray. However, although I do not mean to cause arguement or ruffle any feathers, I do not feel any member of any religion has the right to judge or label a member of another religion. For though a number will come to argue with me, I feel there is no perfect or divine religion. In other words, no man is felt to be without fault...including myself. May God Bless You Danielle
  4. Rockswillcryout, Getting over pain from lost relationships or the pain from others who have hurt you is not easy. Especailly, if that person has never asked for forgiveness for the wrong that was done or perhaps stopped caring in general. Does the hurt ever go away? Yes...although depending upon the person as well as the relationship and reliance put on God, it can take some time. In truth although I feel as though my relationship is pretty good with God, although I know it could be better....there are some old scars within my heart that have not yet fully healed from relationships of which there was never truly felt to be true closure as well as appologies that were never recieved. At the same time, it is a one step at a time sort of thing. For after all, one cannot just simply skip stairs when walking up a stair case unless one is perhaps a bit careless and not to worried about taking one's own time making their way up. Sometimes the situations we deal with in life require us to do so...take baby steps that is. Does the hurt stay with you forever? I do believe that some of the pain may linger with you a lifetime if the relationship was that precious to you. At the same time, I do not believe it is something of which should be dwelled upon daily. So the pain will subside if not gradually lesson throughout time until it is completely gone or comes and goes on occassion. (The pain might come back in small doses on specail days such as the friend's birthday or at times of which someone might say something or do something of which might remind you of him or her.) As I said before it depends on the reliance one has in God as well as how deeply connected you were with this person. As you said, every person is different so each of us is bound to react differently to loss as well as pain. I just pray that should this pain linger for you as it has been known to do so with others that it does not become something of which you dwell upon each day of your life, and that you are also able to find even the smallest of blessings to cherish each and every day making the pain easier to bear. May God Bless You Danielle
  5. It is not suprising that the U.S. law or upper powers would not be too welcoming towards the 10 commandments, although it is rather sad. For if you truly look at them as well as our laws it is undeniable where our laws originated. The U.S. needs God. It is only a matter of time before this country realizes that. In truth, the World needs God. Just hope that more of us believers and non-believers alike start to open our eyes more to see what is going on in this world today as well as see some of the things in which we can change. May God Bless You Danielle
  6. Will your parents go to hell on account of divorce? As many have said, the price of sin is death, at the same time it is our faith in Jesus of which sets us free from our sin for He washes us white as snow. All in all it depends on their faith in Jesus as well as God's verdict on judgement day. For no man can truly say where any of us will go, but God alone. May God Bless You Danielle
  7. Samaritan, Moses was not a magician. Moses was a servant of God. The miracles of which he was able to perform were those of God. Although, it is true that the Harry Potter series does take on the usual plot of the battle between good and evil. At the same time, it is in its own way encouraging witchcraft. All in all, it depends on how a person would choose to look at it. May God Bless You Danielle
  8. I am nondenominational. I am not a big believer in organized religion, although I do strive to follow God as well as what is written within the good word. May God Bless You Danielle
  9. Tamara, That is indeed a difficult and not unfamilar lesson. However, keep in the mind the trials that each of us face in our daily lives are never ones that we cannot overcome. Also, keep in mind that you are never ever truly facing them alone. It is a blessing to know that you are making efforts to pull through such a difficult time, also that you acknowledge the love you have for your children as well as the love God has for you. I pray that God continues to strengthen you, and that you are a little more cautious in future romantic relationships. A heart is a very precious thing and every time each of us puts ourselves in a relationship, a part of our heart is given away and cannot be returned. A heart is a treasure in itself. Keep that treasure for someone who will truly appreciate it. May God Bless You Danielle
  10. Unv477, Surely you are not the only one that comes to feel lonely. Remember though, you are not ever truly alone. God is always with you. However, should you truly feel as though you desire nothing more than to date, bring this matter up with God. Take some serious time out to pray upon this matter, as well as think about the posibility of a relationship. Are you dating in order to search for a possible future family/wife? Are you dating to fill in an empty space? If the second question is what truly applies, it may not be a relationship with others that you need, but a deeper relationship with God. People can make us happy, however it is with God that we find any emptiness becomes full. May God Bless You Danielle
  11. Christ's Free Servant, In truth, God led me to my husband of which I am with today. There truly may not be much to tell other than that my husband was the result of a simple prayer. May God Bless You Danielle
  12. Fiosh, According to biblical scripture divorce is wrong, unless it is do be done out of a case of unfaithfulness. What is a marriage according to biblical scripture? What does the Bible say? Ephesians 5:21-33 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church for we are members of his body. "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." This is a profound mystery but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Husbands are to love their wives as Christ did the church. What is the church? The people, Christ died for the people, believing and unbelieving. What does it mean to be unfaithful to a husband or wife? The act or thought of laying with another man or woman. Is it limited to that alone? Can the abuse of a spouse be seen as an act of unfaithfulness to a spouse? Look again at the scripture above. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church for we are members of his body. Can a man truly love his wife if he lays a hand upon her in a negative manner? In truth, it is difficult to understand how a man could love not only his wife but also have any love for himself if he is to lay a hand upon his spouse, or vise versa. For did Christ not love the church/people enough to give his life for it? Would Christ's sacrifice have held any significance if Jesus were not to love himself enough to treat a woman as many a husband or wife do their spouses today? A marriage is a sacred union, not only of two hearts, but also two's lives. It is from the moment one says I do that the two people's lives and responsibilities are not only bound to one another, but are also bound together to God as well. May God Bless You Danielle
  13. Kitty, Wearing the shirt so as to stand up for your beliefs is not an act of hate. However, approaching a homosexual or bisexual merely to tell them/him/her that you do not like him/her because of his/her chosen lifestyle on the other hand is. Jesus taught us to love our neighbors as well as our enemies. When standing up for your beliefs do it out of love, not judgement or condemnation. For a soft word will not as readily provoke anger as a grevious one. May God Bless You Danielle
  14. At least two full bibles (Old & New Testament) otherwise, at least one New Testament Version. The house otherwise contains several biblical books like "Really Bad Girls of the Bible," & "The Case for Christ." Not exactly very religious, but strive to be very faithful in the one true Creator, God the Father. May God bless You Danielle
  15. His Servant Too, God is beyond a man's full comprehension, and although sometimes we may not understand just why certain things are allowed to happen in today's world. We must remember that as believers, we are to put our faith in Him. For there will be many things of which we may not understand now, but think of all that will be revealed in Heaven. May God Bless You Danielle
  16. Irene M, Do I think the anti-christ is here? Who do I think it might be? Satan is very deceptive, and although one day he will be made evident to all, I in truth have no assumptions or guesses as of who he could be and if he is present at this time. Although, there is no doubt in my mind Satan is well at work today, and very much present. Fortunately, God prevails always. May God Bless You Danielle
  17. Gerioke, That may be true and indeed written in scripture. However, I do not wish to argue with you over this. Although, my oppinion as far as no faith, just as no man being better than the next still rests. Religion can indeed lead a man or woman to Christ, but it is also it that can just as easily topple it. Faith should not have to bear a label in order to be there. May God Bless You Danielle
  18. A twin is natural and would not necessarily be the same thing as a clone. As you can have identical twins or Fraternal twins. Natural reproduction is God led, can we say the same about cloning? God Bless, Dave <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dave, All I can truly say is Amen. For in truth it has been proven over and over again that scientists of today's society as well as historians have been looking for a way not only to blemish God's name, but also for ways to supposedly save lives. Do people not realize what they are doing with the cloning process, or how many lives are actually sacrificed for the "good" of mankind? I appologize for ruffling any feathers, but at the same time facts are facts. May God Bless You Danielle
  19. Religion is a man made form of worship of God or some other form of deity. In truth, it is not something of which is felt to be focused on much by God the Father, if at all. Of course, this is only my thoughts on the matter, for I am not one to claim any denomination or religious faith. For in my heart as well as mind faith should not be something of which should have a label. May God Bless You Danielle
  20. Budman, It is difficult to say what would come out of a human clone. Although in truth, I cannot help but feel that scientists are trying far too hard to play God if not prove that there is no way He could exist. Guess it truly depends on how one chooses to look at it. May God Bless You Danielle
  21. Spiritual_Girl, Low self esteem is an obstacle, if not perhaps one of the most popular obstacle satan uses today so as to draw away both the young and the old from Christ. Pray about this daily and speak to trust friends as well as adults on this matter and even begin to make a list from day to day complementing yourself. Take out another sheet as well and write down the names of people that have a large influence on your life and what they have meant to you. See what happens also when God's word becomes read daily and at the end of the week look back to those two pieces of paper and remember not only that you are a specail creation of God, but also that your life has a purpose. Lastly, that within it are many blessings. May God Bless You Danielle
  22. Duessa, Truthfully this is a difficult question to answer, for there is many of which are desired to be asked of God. At the same time, if one were to be all. Then this question would be it. Why did you create man knowing that so many would reject you and that each of us would be bound in a world of sin Lord? May God Bless You Danielle
  23. Low-End, God alone can truly speak to your heart as well as confirm whether or not your actions are just. Turn to him in prayer for the answers you seek. Keep in mind that the surroundings of which you play your music alone is but a door way unto temptation. However, it is the choices you make when facing such temptation that make you the faithful follower of Christ, or the sinner in need of His love and guidance. We all fall short of God's glory, but it is Him alone on which we can depend and turn to so as to aquire His works in our lives. May God Bless You Danielle
