    Covenants

I should print this up so I can read and study it more in depth.
  2. Yea. Tell the kids their parents are doing what parents should be doing, and monitoring their activities. Not that I wouldn't tell them anyway. But what is Google's ultimate goal? Circumvent and undermine parent's authority on raising their kids based on what an ungodly organization (UN, UK government, any government or platform) based on the notion that they know better than the parents? These same groups are all for grooming kids in the most perverted ideology of LGBTQ+666 and any other anti-God, anti-family, anti-Christian thinking out there. Jesus come quickly!
  3. I would never, ever administer something of the sort to anyone. How do you know they are overdosing? Could it be they are having an epileptic seizure? Could it be they are suffering from anaphylactic shock because they got exposed or stung? I ain't no doctor, but I know to call 911 and move stuff away until those who are trained arrive.
  4. Time for me to ask a new question that may touch on some either positively or negatively. But I must ask. Many times when we have pets or other animals that we take care of die, at some point some will say they are in heaven waiting for us or they went to a better place. Many a preacher/pastor has said that animals will go to heaven when they die, and reference this verse: Acts 10:11 - 12: And saw (Peter) heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, and it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth. Where in were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. Now I know of a couple of pastors when a young child asks, "Is my kitty in heaven?" And the pastor replies, "No, your kitty does not have a soul, and it cannot believe in God and Jesus Christ. Therefore, your kitty is not in heaven." I have to ask myself, "is this true or is something being taken out of context?" God created all manner of critters (yes, even creepy-crawling spiders and cockroaches) but does that mean once they die, that's it? Maybe I'm being too sensitive about it myself, but it seems out of sorts that God would create all manner of beasts and such and when they die, that's it. They are dead. Curtains down, lights out. No more. I believe that all critters, when they die, God does have a place for them. Maybe not the heaven we think of that those who truly have believed and giving themselves over to God and Jesus Christ, but there is a place God has created for critters whose time has come. Where there is no suffering. No worrying about being hunted. They live in a paradise of critters. Though it would be nice to hang out with a tiger and a polar bear while petting a penguin all at the same time.
  5. Matthew 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Many a preacher and pastor has used this verse as an example that rich people cannot enter heaven. Yet these same preachers/pastors are always telling you that you need to give to receive the blessings of God (Kenneth Copeland, Jessie Duplantis and Creflo Dollar just to name a few). What these same preachers/pastors fail to mention (if they really understand or know themselves) is that in Luke 16-19, when the rich man died and Lazarus had died, Lazarus was with Abraham in heaven and the rich man was in hell. Now think about this. Abraham was one of the richest men alive during his time. Yet he served God and kept focusing on serving God during his lifetime. These verses are used constantly to show that being rich "is evil" and being poor "is good," yet they are constantly telling you and me and everyone else that you have to give to receive. There will be many a poor people as well as many a rich people who will be in hell, not because of their economic status, but of their willingness to serve the Lord and God and to become truly born again. Enter though the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14.
  6. I have a Strong's and a Young's that I need to dig up that I bought years ago. Need to bring them back into the light and get back to getting myself back in alignment with God.
  7. Thank you. I like this idea and thank you for the links.
  8. I like this. Thank you.
  9. I was always told in the "Christian Bible Group" (cult as I later discovered and left) that the King James Version was the "only true and accurate version of the Bible." However, I have seen many other versions out and about in the world (NIV, NKJV, etc. etc.) and have heard from various pastors/preachers what version they use, and unfortunately some use a version that, quite frankly, seems watered down (not sure which version(s) it is). My question to the masses for my understanding is this: What versions are really better? Or are there versions that are more heretical because of they were made to be more "politically correct?"
  10. Religion is man's way of trying to define God. Or in aspects trying to control others using religion. With that I know that the one true God, the father of Jesus Christ, who is the only one born of a virgin and raised from the dead by God himself to fulfill the law. I will tell you I'm allegedly Catholic in name only. However I am a Christian. I believe in God and Jesus Christ is my savior. I will personally look down the barrel of a gun or have my head cut off before I renounce God and Jesus Christ, which will never happen. I will quote Bible verses I can remember and pray for my enemies as I die. I am in no way perfect, but I will not, nor ever, renounce God and Jesus Christ. I will face whatever judgement I may face when I cross the bar, but one thing is certain, I will not be facing judgement for ever renouncing God and Jesus Christ.
  11. I going to toss in a dream I had twice nearly 8 years ago. Same dream but I had them nearly a year apart. May mean absolutely nothing but it concerned me a lot, since I was considering retiring or staying in for another few years. I was deployed with my Air Force Reserve unit to South Korea. While in my office (I was a Ground Safety Specialist) the attack alarms go off. I duck under my desk to protect myself, but my right ankle was exposed. A bright flash (nuke blast is what I believed it to be) enveloped the room. My right ankle felt like it just received a sunburn. A loud, horrendous noise immediately followed. The next thing I know I'm back at my home base in Florida. Again the attack alarm goes off but this time I am outside when the bright flash of a nuke occurs. I immediate wake up in a cold sweat and my right ankle felt like it had received a sunburn. It stayed painful for a couple of days afterwards. Same dream twice in the span of nearly a year. Now I don't claim being anything special, but it definitely had me thinking. And about three years ago I had another dream about trying to cross over the border from North Korea into South Korea. Not sure what was going on, but geeze. Maybe I need to cut down on the coffee?
  12. The People's Republic of California is the prime example of what the entire country is becoming. More spending for government programs, tax everything and anything possible, and blame everyone else for their problems because you are spending more than your are making. Between the military closing down major bases (which most "make love not war" wackos were happy about) and major companies moving out because of excessive taxes and regulations, is it any wonder PRC is in such financial straits?
  13. Ah come on. Germs help build resistance to more yucky stuff. Besides, the bugs were here first. And I like the little critters. Gives me something to do... SLAP! There, squished another one. As I was saying, gives me something to do when work gets slow.
  14. 21 wives? 21 "what have you done for me lately." 21 "honey do lists." 21 "it's your turn to watch the kids." 21 "you like her more than me." 21 "nag nag nag nag nag nag..." OH NO! I'd shoot myself instead...
  15. As the water usage increases with the increase in population and removal of oil, things are going to start settling. We have had a few sink holes here in Florida in the last couple of years, and it wouldn't surprise me that it was because of the amount of water being removed is far exceeding the water being replaced.
  16. Many a country singers have learned from him, a true icon in the country music world.
  17. Keep it at 21 unless the person is in the military, then they should be allowed to drink at 18. If they are defending this country then by all means let them have a beer.
  18. God doesn't change. Man and his religion does.
  19. And yet the company I currently pay my water bill to charges $2.50 to pay on line or by credit card. Otherwise it has to be by check or money order. NO CASH TAKEN!
  20. Oh, where I could start with this. But the mods would not appreciate it.
  21. HO HO HO! Or should I say, Lady of the night, lady of the night, lady of the night.
  22. No forrest, it's already been broadcast that a majority of the climatologists disagree. Unfortunately that is not what we are being told, and it has already been mentioned that those who disagree will lose their jobs and accrediations. So it's not what really is the truth, but what is politically important today and what gets the money and power to control others.
  23. Until IED's start going off in your city. Then blame Bush. Some will refuse to listen and believe.
