Get your church to start a school or find one in your area, or even home school. Government schools are turning out little bastards (in the Hebrews 12:8 sense) I think that lumping all public schools into this category is not fair. I live in a community whose public schools are excellent and the curriculum is very good. I think what children learn at home is more important than most of what they learn in school. I think parents need to be involved in what is being taught in school and should be discussing it with their children. Also important is to know your child's friends and their families - find out who they are and what their values are. Home schooling, while an excellent format, if it's taught correctly and is consistent, is simply not an option for many people. Blessings sister. It is definately not an option here. And I agree with you completely. It starts at home. But my grandaughter was some confused so we explained things to her. My daughter and her husband both work so home school is out. They did go to a private Christian school but tuition got to high. So now she is in a public school. Not all public schools are bad. I was just pretty upset they taught them to celebrate KWANZA but were'nt allowed to celebrate a Christian Christmas in school. Their Christmas program didn't have one single song in it about Christ at all. So why was it called a CHRISTMAS program. The songs they sang were only Holiday Jazz. Blessings sister lydia. I agree with the fact we need Jesus, But I dissagree when you say we will never be good enough for God to love us. He does love us. It is through Jesus that we have mercy and grace and through accepting Him we can go to Heaven. It is because of Jesus God can accept us. Romans 5:8 For God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. He loves us to be sure. The Lord loves us flaws and all. Let's say you are a parent and one of your children has something wrong with them would you love them any less... no you wouldn't. You would cherish them and look beyond that. God's love is UNCONDITIONAL. That is the great thing about it. He loves you Paige. He loves everyone of His creations. Sadly not all are willing to accept it. Give your struggles over to the One who created you. He is waiting with open arms. We are all flawed but redeemed by the love He has for us. The ad is tasteless to be sure and I am glad we don't have cable or antenna or anything. We only watch movies that we buy. I haven't ate at the BK in years now... they stopped serving it my way.... they messed up a big order and haven't been back since.... I truly can't stand cold fries... ugh....
