  1. Deuteronomy 30:19 - "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live." Some people seem to enjoy being the victim. No matter what failure or disappointment they have experienced in life, they have convinced themselves that someone or something is to blame This lie is old as Adam. He blamed Eve and she blamed the devil when they messed up in the Garden of Eden. However, each one of them had a choice to obey or disobey God's Word. Instead of using their God-given dominion and subduing that lying devil, they chose to do what he suggested. Actually, they chose death. Affirmations: I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE LIFE I AM LIVING IS THE RESULT OF CHOICES THAT I HAVE MADE THROUGHOUT MY LIFE. EVERY VICTORY IS REALLY UP TO ME, NOT OTHER PEOPLE, EVENTS OR CIRCUMSTANCES. WHEN HATE IS HURLED TOWARD ME, I CHOSE TO FORGIVE AND WALK IN LOVE. I SEE THE IMPOSSIBLE COME TO PASS IN MY LIFE. Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably (exceeding abundantly) more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us." "The power" working within you is the mighty power of God's Spirit who lives inside you, enabling you to fulfill the vision He has given you. God's power is actually working within you for the fulfillment of your dream. As long as we believe that we receive only what we ask for we are limiting the power of God in our life. Affirmations: HE WILL DO "EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY" BEYOND ALL THAT I CAN ASK FOR, THINK ABOUT, OR IMAGINE. MY IMAGINATION IS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR ALL THAT HE WANTS TO DO FOR ME. Hebrews 3:14,15 - "For we are become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end; while it is said, Today, if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts.." When we truly become partakers of Christ, we are known, even now and to all eternity, as one with Christ on the throne of glory. Our perseverance in seeking His PURPOSE for our life will be the seal of our being a partaker of Christ. The faith by which, at conversion, we know at once that we have Christ -- HisCALLING on our life growing clearer and brighter and more mightily effectual in opening up the treasures of Christ, as we hold it fast firm unto the end. Persevering faith is the witness that we have Christ, because through it Christ exercises His keeping and perfecting power. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: How did Christ become a partaker of our nature? Answer: He left His own state of life, forsook all, and entered into our state of life. How do I become a partaker of Christ? Answer: By coming out from my state of life, forsaking all, giving myself wholly to be possessed of Him living His PURPOSE for my life. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. "I am the true Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit." (John 15:1-2 NASB) We are anointed to transform our area of influence for the advancement of the Kingdom and to bring glory to God. God anoints us to fulfill the plans and CALLING He has for us. The anointing allows you to move into a supernatural walk with God. The Lord is filling people with His Spirit and increasing the anointing on the lives of people so they may powerfully impact their area of influence for Him. This is a time of transformation for those who surrender to the Lord and submit to the pruning and refining that the Lord is doing at this time. There is a repositioning and realigning that is occurring as part of the preparation for what is coming. The Lord is removing hindrances and refreshing His people. He is filling them with the power of His Spirit and raising them up to carry His PURPOSE for their lives. AFFIRMATIONS: I am not designed to drift - I am designed for DESTINY. God has called me with a holy calling, not according to my works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to me in Christ Jesus before the world began. Since I am in Christ I am in another reality and another life altogether. Luke 9:23 - "And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” When Jesus called His disciples, it was for total commitment. They had to be willing to leave everything to follow Him, and so do we. If He is not the Lord of all, then He is not our Lord at all. All Christians are called to be "soldiers of the Cross". All soldiers know that they can be called upon to pay the ultimate price for their cause. For this reason, the soldiers of the Cross are called to take up their crosses and commit to die daily to their own interests in order to serve the interests of Christ. In order to hear His voice, you must release all your worries into His care. Entrust to Him everything that concerns you. This clears the way for you to seek His Face unhindered. Let Him free you from fear that is hiding deep inside you. Sit quietly in His Presence, allowing His Light to soak into you and drive out any darkness lodged within you. Accept each day just as it comes to you, remembering that He is watching over your life. Rejoice in this day that He has made, trusting that He is abundantly present in it. Instead of regretting or resenting the way things are, praise Him in all circumstances. Trust Him and don’t be fearful; thank Him and rest in His freedom. "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:6–7 "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." - Psalm 118:24 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. "This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face....Lift up your heads. O gates, And be lifted up O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in!" - Psalms 24:6,7 Now is NOT the time to quit! Now is NOT the time to give in to the familiar lies of the past! Now is not the time to renew your vows with the old, familiar strongholds of the past! The enemy would want to deceive you into thinking you are back at square one and haven't progressed forward. Rather decide to yield to the Word of the Lord at the threshold, that He is faithful, His promises are yes and amen, that He is perfecting all which concerns you and is making everything beautiful in its time. The Lord is bringing healing into your life through the victory you have in Him. Now is the time to seek His face. In Psalm 24, the word "seek" in Hebrew refers to "studying, learning and seeking Him out. We are in "advance forward" mode right now. We are commissioned to take ground in this season and ground we will take! Proverbs 4:20-23 - "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." Affirmations: I AM DILIGENT TO KEEP MEDITATING AND CONFESSING THE PROMISES IN THE WORD UNTIL THEY OVERTAKE MY LIFE. I KNOW THAT EVERYTHING THAT I RECEIVE FROM GOD STARTS WITH THE WORD IN MY HEART. Be willing to follow wherever He leads. Follow Him wholeheartedly, with glad anticipation quickening your pace. Though you don’t know what lies ahead. Some of His richest blessings are just around the bend: out of sight, but nonetheless very real. To receive these gifts, you must walk by faith—not by sight. This doesn’t mean closing your eyes to what is all around you. It means subordinating the visible world to the invisible Shepherd of your soul. Sometimes He leads you up a high mountain with only His hand to support you. The higher you climb, the more spectacular the view becomes; also, the more keenly you sense your separation from the world with all its problems. This frees you to experience exuberantly the joyous reality of His Presence. Give yourself fully to these Glory-moments, awash in dazzling Light. He will eventually lead you down the mountain, back intocommunity with others. Let His Light continue to shine within you as you walk among people again. "We live by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7 "Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary." - Psalm 96:6 "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” - John 8:12 "For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light." - Psalm 36:9 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. 1 Corinthians 9:24 - "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but only one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain." Our lives cannot be like "teeter-totters" that shift one way, then go the other way. We have a DESTINY!Divine focus is an essential element that steers us like the rudder does a ship into the place of consistent lives before His Presence. Imagine a ship that is constantly going off course. It may get back on course over and over again but so much time is wasted. That is why Paul tells us to run the race "to win". There is a way that we run that causes us to have victory. It is not enough to be on the course, we must be ON course the entire way. To the level that we maintain our FOCUS, we will also maintain consistency establishing the Throne of God in the earth through that CALLING of God on our life. Affirmations: I MUST OBTAIN THE PRIZE. I MUST FULFILL THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH I WAS BORN. I MUST ACHIEVE THE PLAN OF GOD FOR MY LIFE. Romans 8:37 - "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." Affirmations: I EXPECT TO CONQUER AND MASTER ANY OBSTACLE I FACE TODAY. JESUS MAKES THE DIFFERENCE.I NEVER SAY ANYTHING I DON’T WANT SATAN TO BELIEVE. He loves us with an everlasting Love. The human mind cannot comprehend His constancy. Your emotions flicker and falter in the face of varying circumstances. You need to look beyond the flux of circumstances and discover Him gazing lovingly back at you. This awareness of His Presence strengthens you, as you receive and respond to His Love. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Let His Love flow into you continually. Your need for Him is as constant as the outflow of His Love to you. "The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: 'I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.'” - Jeremiah 31:3 “In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.” - Exodus 15:13 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." - Hebrews 13:8 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. Ephesians 1:17,18 -- "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling.." The dreams and visions God births in us bring revelation, illumination, and inspiration. The Holy Spirit instantly reveals spiritual knowledge about God and His ways through direct or indirect revelation to a person's spirit. Revelation is not learned through the intellect (Greek - "gnosis" – assumption or scientific, methodical knowledge) -- it is imparted into the depths of the spirit, which brings an exact, truthful knowledge (Greek - "epignosis"). Revelation comes from the Greek word "apokalypsis". It means the unveiling of mysteries which have been hidden or concealed, and are revealed or discovered by removing a covering. Revelation comes to bring an accelerated transformation that births change, and that forwards one's movements or quickens their actions in the spirit. The spirit realm moves at a much greater speed than the natural realm to allow miracles to occur. Habakkuk 2:14 - "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea." Without revelation knowledge we will never progress to the next dimension of supernatural glory. The glory realm requires a humble spirit that is motivated by total dependence upon the leading of the Holy Spirit. FAITH AND DOMINION Faith is the gift God gave to everyone. We all have a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). However, the faith of the Believer allows us to take dominion in the natural realm and also over satan in the spiritual realm. Walking in His authority is actually more than just a right that has been given to us, it's our responsibility. As joint heirs with Christ, we have a responsibility to walk in His authority TAKING DOMINION. He has called us to be good stewards of His Kingdom while we are here on earth, and walking in His authority goes hand in hand with being a good steward of the Kingdom. "It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch."—Mark 13:34 We must SEEK and access God's glorious presence, heavenly plans, and our DESTINY in Christ. The "glory" is the atmosphere of Heaven that gives evidence of God's supreme power manifesting His visible presence to humanity when, and how, He desires. Matthew 7:8 AMP - "For everyone who keeps on asking receives: and he who keeps on seeking finds: and to him who keeps on knocking, (the door) will be opened." God's higher thoughts, glorious light, and plans enter our spirit and our dreams to imprint spiritual pictures and blueprints on our subconscious or image center. 1 Corinthians 2:10 - "But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." ILLUMINATION AND INSPIRATION Illumination is spiritual and intellectual enlightenment. Inspiration is the ability to communicate the understood, discovered truths of God to others. Hebrews 5:12 - "For by this time you ought to be teachers...." To spiritually inspire is to guide, affect, or arouse by the divine influence of the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 2:2 - "You should teach people whom you can trust the things you and many others have heard me say. Then they will be able to teach others." Discipling others (individually) is essential to the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Are you willing to spend and be spent; not seeking to be ministered unto, but to minister? The Spirit of the Lord calls to the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us, to impart revelation knowledge, illumination, and inspiration. Jeremiah 15:19 - "If you return, then I will restore you - Before Me you will stand; and if you extract the precious from the worthless, you will become My spokesman." If we allow the Holy Spirit to move through us, we will be constantly searching for those whose lives are formless and void. We will become a bridge for them into the glorious, creative purposes of God. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Isaiah 54:3-5: "Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited. Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth.....for your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth." We are about to expand beyond our imagination. We need to prepare for the feast that is being prepared for us. Psalm 23:5 says, "God will prepare a table of feasting for us in the very presence of our enemies." God is preparing a table for us, a table of feasting. We have to make room for what He was about to bring into our life. "Strengthen your stakes." means the walls, or stakes (your faith and expectation) must be able to support what God is bringing into your life. It is time to expand our cords - make large the place - and prepare our hearts. It is time to expand our capacity to receive. It's feasting time in the presence of the Lord! It's time to break out! 1 Timothy 4:7,8 - "Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness; for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come." You are divinely prepared to accomplish the task God has assigned you. You can do something no other human being can do. You have been chosen by Christ, for Christ; the choice was made before the foundation of the world (see Ephesians 1:4). Knowing this promise will release you from rejection and depression. Power is released through discipline. The goal is to finish the course and to be able to say with all confidence, "I've kept the faith and stayed on course, accomplishing the task set before me." It is to that individual Christ will say, "Well done, good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:21). Affirmation: I DISCIPLINE MYSELF IN CHRIST SO THAT I WILL ACCOMPLISH GOD'S CALLING ON MY LIFE. He is perpetually with you, taking care of you. That is the most important fact of your existence. He is not limited by time or space; you need not fear the future, for He is already there. When you make that quantum leap into eternity, you will find Him awaiting you in heaven. Your future is in His hands; He releases it to you day by day, moment by moment. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow. Don’t be distracted by future concerns. Leave them to Him! Each day of life is a glorious gift, but so few people know how to live within the confines of today. Much of their energy for abundant living spills over the timeline into tomorrow’s worries or past regrets. Their remaining energy is sufficient only for limping through the day, not for living it to the full. I am training you to keep your focus on My Presence in the present. This is how to receive abundant Life, which flows freely from His throne of grace.“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” - Matthew 6:34 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” - John 10:10 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Each of us has a cup to drink en route to our DESTINY. We will swallow the full dregs, and though it kills us, we shall live. Yet it shall not be us, but Christ living in us. God takes things to another level as we press through into a new place in Him. Transitions are healthy and good for us. When we allow ourselves to be stretched into a new place, we will experience fresh joys on the other side. SEE YOURSELF WITH THE CONFIDENCE OF GOD'S STRENGTH Imagine awakening every morning with the confidence of God's strength in you. And this strength in you according to His wealth, according to the riches of His glory, according to who He is. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13 Could it be that God has brought you to this place and positioned you in the midst of all the world has to offer, so you can make a declaration about Jesus? What's holding you back from being all that you can be in Christ Jesus? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. We overcome regardless of the enemy's strategy because of who GOD is. We can rest in the revelation of who He is as we focus on Him. Make the valley you are going through your "secret place of worship and intimacy" and watch Him fight for you and turn things around. God is committed to releasing victory to you in any season of your life regardless of whether you are in the valley or on the hills. "We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments." - 2 Corinthians 10:4 (NLT) "But speaking the truth in To those beginning their spiritual journey, God reveals Himself as Father. The picture is of a loving father embracing and reassuring his children.love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ." - Ephesians 4:15 After knowing God as Father He goes on to reveal Himself as Warrior, "The LORD is a warrior..." (Exodus 15:3 NIV). The picture is of a warrior training recruits for battle. To those who know God as both Father and Warrior He reveals Himself as Consuming Fire, "For our God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:29). God is "from the beginning," that is, He is eternal. He has no beginning and no end. The picture is of an all-consuming reality (Song of Songs 8:6). When we know Him as Father, we become secure in His love. When we know Him as Warrior, we become strong in His might. When we know Him as Consuming Fire, we become one with Him in wholehearted union. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF:• Is God specifically revealing Himself to me as either Father, Warrior, or Consuming Fire? • Is there anything in you that resists knowing God as Father, Warrior, or Consuming Fire? • Are you growing in the knowledge of God or are you resisting the change He desires to bring in your life? Mark 11:24 - "Therefore I say unto you, what things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." Affirmations: I KEEP THE SWITCH OF FAITH TURNED ON. WHEN I BELIEVE I RECEIVE -- FAITH IS RELEASED. I DON’T HAVE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. I DON’T HAVE TO FEEL IT HAPPEN. IT JUST HAPPENS. THE REBORN SPIRIT IS MADE THAT WAY. Mark 5:36 - "Be not afraid, only believe." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. The deadness and feebleness of the saints today is largely due to their receiving and following the truth with their minds. This is nothing but the law. In spite of the exactness of the letter, it is absolutely not of the Holy Spirit. Our understanding deals with conceptions and images of divine things, but it cannot reach the real life of the inner spirit. He fills only the pursuing hungry and thirsty soul with spiritual impartation. All things come into being through the Word. It is the Word made alive in our hearts (through repeated affirmation and meditation), germinated by our faith, that strengthens the real life of the believer's spirit. STRENGTHENED WITH MIGHT THROUGH HIS SPIRIT "That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.....that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:16,19 The Holy Spirit now lives in your inner man to strengthen you and help you to do what you could not do without Him. God's kingdom authority, dominion, and majesty should be reigning in every believer's inner man. Paul urges us to be so deeply rooted, so in union with Christ, that the impossible becomes possible, and the invisible becomes visible. "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." - Ephesians 6:10 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. Ephesians 5:14 - "Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." OBSERVATION: If I truly want Christ to "shine upon me, I must arise from the distractions that entomb me in lethargy and spiritual darkness. By praying the scriptures in the epistles of Paul that pertain to our inheritance in Christ we come to know who we are in Christ, the power that is flowing through us, and our authority over sickness, distractions, or other issues of life. Genesis 1:2 - "And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters." THOSE WHO ARE BORN OF THE SPIRIT WILL ALSO BE MOVING, FLOWING, AND GOING SOMEWHERE. THIS IS THE NATURE OF THOSE WHO ARE BORN OF THE SPIRIT. John 3:8 - "The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit." Mark 11:13 - "And seeing in the distance a fig tree covered with leaves. He went to see if He could find any fruit on it. But when He came up to it, He found nothing but leaves for the fig season had not yet come. And He said to it, 'No one ever again shall eat fruit from you."' There is a message for us in the cursed fig tree. Jesus cursed it for not bearing fruit OUT OF SEASON. It died immediately. Was He unreasonable? Did He lose His temper? Or was He showing us something about His expectations for our lives that we'd just as soon ignore? He has the right to expect the fruit of the impossible from those He has created for the impossible. Affirmations: THE SPIRIT OF THE RESURRECTED CHRIST LIVING IN ME HAS DISQUALIFIED ME FROM THE MUNDANE AND ORDINARY. I AM QUALIFIED FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE, BECAUSE I'M A BELIEVING BELIEVER. FAITH QUALIFIES ME FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. Matt. 3:2, "...Repent ye: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."Matt. 4:17, "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,'Repent: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.'" The Greek word for repentance, metanoeo, means to change one's mind. Many seek miracles for what they could have by simply repenting. There are things that are outside our reach as mere mortal men. Those are the areas God moves in when it comes to the miraculous. Yet there are areas that are completely within our reach -- grasped and conquered by repentance, by changing the way we think so we can conquer ourselves. From this place we conquer our world, as has been given to us by divine destiny. When a believer reaches this achievement, they are ready for some of the greatest miracles man has seen. He has overcome this world just as Christ overcame. Matthew 25:30 - "And cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Affirmation: THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GIVING ME WISDOM AND COURAGE TO STEP OUT AND BEGIN TO FULFILL THE DREAM HE AS BIRTHED SO DEEPLY INSIDE ME. Nehemiah 4:2 - "Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, seeing they are burned?" We continue to cry out for revival and we continue to devise ways to bring people into God's kingdom. We may feel like the fishermen in Luke Chapter 5 who were tired after fishing all night and catching nothing. Jesus called out and told them to go into the deep water and let down their nets once again. Only this time, to their surprise, they caught more fish than they could handle. Similarly, God is calling us to plunge into deep water if we want to catch fish. God is indeed pouring out His Spirit on all people. As Christians, we need only ask Him to point out those He is drawing to Himself. If we ask God to open our eyes to "see" and our ears to "hear" His voice, we can get ready for a number of supernatural and divine encounters specifically designed by God to draw millions to Jesus Christ. God calls us to partner with Him in what will be one of the largest revivals in Church history. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Isaiah 66:9 - "Shall I bring to the point of birth and not cause to bring forth?" says the LORD; 'Shall I, who cause to bring forth, shut the womb?' says your God.'" No more restriction to the sound of God inside of you. Let the winds of God blow in and through you today. It's time for you to release the heartbeat of the King in the earth. Give birth to a new sound that you've never released before. Let it be heard through your life, your ministry, and your career. Let it be heard in your family and in your region. The earth is waiting for what you possess on the inside. It's time to rise up in His plans and purposes for your life. It's time for you to release the heartbeat of the King in the earth. Romans 8:19, "For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God." James 1:4 - "But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." The Greek word patience can be translated endurance, constancy, or being constant regardless of circumstances. Faith is dependent on patience. Patience won't let faith quit. Patience is dependent on the decision to stay on the word regardless of what gets thrown against our lives. Affirmation: VICTORY IS ALREADY MINE "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place." - 2 Corinthians 2:14 God ALWAYS leads us into victory. The promise is not that He will help us avoid challenges or difficulties or battles. Actually, it is just the opposite. He leads us into them so that we can enforce the victory that we already have been given in Christ and collect our spoils! Yes, there are giants in the land today. But, it is time for us to stop being intimidated, hiding on the sidelines, and running away like the army of Israel in 1 Samuel 17:23-24. It is time for us to arise and advance like David – knowing and declaring our God (1 Samuel 17:37,46-47). "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you." - Joshua 3:5 QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:Will you be that one who consecrates themselves? Will you say yes? Will you look beyond the many things that are wrong and see the One who is righteous – the One who is well able to turn it all around? Will you offer Him your life anew this day – your heart, your voice, your faith? If so, this will be the Church's finest hour, and you will see great wonders in your midst. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. Ephesians 1:5,6 - "Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved." Since we are adopted in Christ Jesus a low opinion of ourself or self-hatred is not from God, but from the enemy. Prayer is not trying to get God to do something for you by making Him feel sorry for you. It is coming to Him knowing that you not only deserve what you ask because of the righteousness of Christ, but you also have a right to it because it is based on His word. Hebrews 4:16 - "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." INTO ACTION:What are you doing to affirm who you are in Christ? List 3 advantages to knowing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. Our minds and mindsets need to be renewed by the Spirit. The culture of the day has begun to influence the way many see, think and feel, and the Lord is recalibrating us to see, think and feel as He does, and to bring us back to our first love. He wants to remind us of who we are, who He is, and the mission of seeing the earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord and being completely reconciled to His heart. Be strong and courageous! Renounce any agreement with fear, unbelief or a critical spirit. It's time to step out of the crowd and cross the threshold into this new place with the Father. The land on the other side of the threshold is rich and bountiful, and it is yours to live in. You are invited to live in the realm of, "With God ALL THINGS are possible," and you are invited to walk in complete surrender to the Father just as Jesus did. John 14:12 - "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father." Romans 14:17 - "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit." AFFIRMATION: Christianity is not about what I put into my life. But what God has already put in my life. The new covenant is:1. I am cleansed by the blood of Jesus. 2. I am filled with the love and Spirit of God. 3. And All God has for me is already inside of me the moment I was born again. Ephesians, 3:16 - "May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His Glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy Spirit {Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]" AMP Your future comes from God’s possibilities and from His potential - Not the world’s, not your own. His potential and every promise of every possibility flow through the Holy Spirit, into you, and He will strengthen you with His might to accomplish those things so that you can be who you are called to be, to do what you are called to do and to receive what you are promised to be given. The Power and Strength of the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life releases Victorious living in Everyday life! This is a key necessity for today as the Lord reveals His Kingdom and CALLING on our lives and its impact through us on others in the world! By faith in His Word and empowerment within the inner man, we live in a place of Power and Strength. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. Are you tired of shallow-water Christianity, and you want the deep things of God, or the strong food that is mentioned in scripture? Are you ready for the deep, deep things of God? Tell God you are ready to be offered, and God will prove Himself to be all you ever dreamed He would be. "I am already being poured out as a drink offering." - 2 Timothy 4:6 Unless we enter into our eternal identities, we will not become instruments for noble purposes. We will not enter into a holiness from Heaven. We will not be useful to God. "We are workers together with God." - 2 Corinthians 6:1 Whatever call He may require of you, He will provide all you need to faithfully fulfill it. He has destined you for success, not failure, in your calling (DESTINY). If we truly follow Jesus, He follows us. When and where the apostles moved, God moved also. Natural effort releases divine effort; the Spirit works where we work. AFFIRMATIONS:My faith in God's Word is not just an abiding faith; it is active -- it is aggressive by nature; it has focus and purpose. I make a fresh commitment to walk in union with God; I give attention to His Spirit in my inner man I make the decision today to paddle upstream against the current of the world by speaking God's word into my life. "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;"- Romans 8:17We need boldness to act on God's Word. We need boldness to act on what the Spirit of God may say to us. The believer has covenant rights in prayer, as well as other covenant rights. The problem that defeats believers in their prayer life is the feeling of inferiority -- a sense of sin-consciousness. Some Christians begin their prayers with, "I'm so weak and unworthy," and then harp on their weaknesses and unworthiness throughout the prayer. "I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins." - Isaiah 43:25 We are sons and daughters of God, joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. We are covenant people, and we are covenant people. and we have a legal right -- a Body of Christ right -- to go into the Presence of God the Father with the same confidence and assurance that Jesus has. And we can do it boldly! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  16. "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you...." - 2 Timothy 1:6 Every believer holds a position of authority that comes with God-given talents or gifts and is hidden in Christ Jesus, above all demonic authority. So why are so many of us INEFFECTIVE? God didn't save and deliver you so you could preserve His gift in a sealed jar and live life as usual. God's people were created to rule and reign, not to be defeated. He has plans for us to rule and reign with Him in eternity. But our practice begins now. We were saved by the power of God and we live by the same power. The devil hates power because he gets kicked out of places where he is the strong man. God is much stronger and wants to kick him out of people and places through us. We don't need to wait for something to happen. Instead we need to stir that which God has already put inside of us. It is our hunger and thirst for Him that will BREAK US into a greater reality of His glory. It is time to become a walking God-encounter for others. Stir up your faith and release it to others as situations present themselves. Inhale His love and exhale His peace, for what you allow Him to do in you, He will release through you. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  17. As God's people we learn to live on the basis of hearing God's voice and obeying His word. "The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works." - John 14:10 If we are "in Christ", we are moving with the most pressing speed, for we are "in" the most dynamic man who ever walked the earth. When He says to us, "Follow me", He is inviting us to a high-speed chase down the roads of our life. On that chase there is no rest except eternal rest and no security except eternal security. "My children with who I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you.." - Galatians 4:19 The true success of our ministry to others will be by how it brought forth the formation of Christ within the person God has given us to disciple. The reshaping of our values and our desires is the key work of the Holy Spirit. This reshaping brings us into conformity and harmony with God's purpose for our lives (our DESTINY). AFFIRMATIONS: God is helping me walk out of the problems that have tried to grip my mind and my life. I declare this by faith in Jesus' name. I confess and meditate on God's word day by day. That word is equipping, outfitting, and furnishing me with all the spiritual gear I need to take the adventurous trip God has planned for my life. As you become increasingly aware of His Presence, you find it easier to discern the way you should go. This is one of the practical benefits of living close to Him. Instead of wondering about what is on the road ahead or worrying about what you should do if…or when…, you can concentrate on staying in communion with Him. When you actually arrive at a choice-point, He will show you which direction to go. Many people are so preoccupied with future plans and decisions that they fail to see choices they need to make today. Without any conscious awareness, they make their habitual responses. People who live this way find a dullness creeping into their lives. They sleepwalk through their days, following well-worn paths of routine. As the Creator of the universe, He is the most creative Being imaginable. He will not leave you circling in deeply rutted paths. Instead, He will lead youalong fresh trails of adventure, revealing to you things you did not know. Stay in communication with Him. Follow His guiding Presence. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you." - Psalm 32:8 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." - Genesis 1:1 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  18. "There were many bones in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And the Lord said unto me, 'prophesy upon these bones and say unto them, Behold I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.'" - Ezekiel 37: 2,4,5 Look at those things over which you have lost your vision. Ask Him to bring resurrection life back into those dead places and renew your vision for your own CALLING IN CHRIST. We are invited to receive the Spirit, live in the Spirit, embrace the gifts of the Spirit, and be sustained and blown along by the very breath of God to advance our DESTINY in the Spirit. We cannot be in and out, this way and that way if we're going to move and operate and ascend into the incredible levels that God wants to release in us. How will your life change as you become more extreme with your faith? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  19. God created you to rule over all the earth and everything the creeps in it. Thus, if the earth in any way is dominating you, you are malfunctioning. "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and OVER ALL THE EARTH.." - Genesis 1:26 The Old Covenant was a system of judgment and death, of the CLOSED Heaven. But Jesus says: 'You shall see the Heaven OPENED, and a way between Heaven and earth, between God and man, made clear. I am that way. I will open Heaven by My own blood.' "Then He 'In truth, in very truth I tell you all, you shall see heaven wide open.....'" - John 1:51added, AFFIRMATIONS: I am confident that His presence in my life is getting stronger. I am completely determined and committed to keep pushing ahead and to never let go until I've accomplished my God-given mission! He is preparing to move me upward into a more glorious phase in my life. I am going from glory to glory! "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." - Revelation 19:10 We meet people everywhere. Our business is to turn them from being forgetful of God, from being devoid of faith, from being prayerless, so that they become people who habitually pray, who believe in God, remember Him and do his will. Whenever we share a testimony of what the power of Jesus has done -- any miracle, healing, salvation account -- the Spirit of prophecy is loosed over the people who are hearing it. This means the Spirit of God is actively moving on them to create faith. John 3:8 tells us, "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." We were born of the Spirit, but sometimes we want to live out of our heads instead of our hearts. We need to determine in our hearts that we're going to ride the wind of the Spirit no matter what our reasonings say, no matter what the naysayers say and no matter what the devil says. Sometimes we need a fresh baptism of the Spirit. Sometimes we need a fresh baptism of fire. Instead of moaning and groaning in the flesh, sometimes we need to start travailing in the Spirit for that new thing He wants to birth in our lives. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. What are you O great mountain...you shall become a plain......amid shouts of 'Grace, grace to it." - Zechariah 4:6,7 The ministry of the Christian is the ministry of the Spirit. Other men have intellectuality, but the Christian is supposed to be the possessor of the Spirit. As simple as breathing is in the physical life, so will praying be in the life led by the Holy Spirit. ACCESSING THE MIRACULOUS Are you hungry? Do you want to be a sign, a wonder, and a miracle for the glory of the Lord and for a harvest of souls such as the world has never before seen? You're not overcome because Jesus overcame! Why waste time focused on what the giants are doing? Why not focus on who God is and what God is doing and what God can do through you by the effectual workings of His power. To be effective we must minister according to His energy, or His power in our lives. As we cry out from a deep engaging of the Spirit of the living God within our spirit, we experience communion, which is a place of deep-to-deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit searches out the deep counsel of God for us and reveals it to us. "But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God - 1 Corinthians 2:10 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  21. Maybe you feel like your dreams have died, your hopes have died, and your prospects have died. We live in a dramatic world where you may face great hindrances with excessive drama -- God has drama for you -- divine drama. God has a perfect track record, and His resume for doing special things during dark seasons is flawless. God created us to move through spiritual seasons. And some of those seasons are spent in a wilderness. "O my God, I cry in the daytime, but you answer not; and by night I am not silent or find no rest." - Psalm 22:2 Listening to God must become a habit. We must learn to be less analytical and live with more attentiveness to the Holy Spirit. Our minds are so busy racing, analyzing, worrying, doubting, and spinning, that we don't hear when He knocks? AFFIRMATIONS: I confess that my life shows forth an excellent image of who Jesus is and what he stands for in this world. As a result of my firm determination to walk with God, I have power over sin, power over satan, and power when I pray. I stay focused on my calling and remain determined to do what God has told me to do, even if I am assaulted by outside forces. "I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name. O thou most High." - Psalm 9:2 The sacrifice of praise will cost you your self-centeredness and your natural tendency to dwell on whatever is wrong in your life. We are to be continually offering our praise to God. It is a huge key to breakthrough. Our heart attitude plays a major role inbreakthrough. There are people with chains holding them down. Christ is standing beside you with a hammer that can destroy those chains. Just call out to Him and He is faithful and will change your every circumstance. Call Unto Him! Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." This is not just a passage in the Bible it is a promise and it is for you. You are about to receive revelation that will set you free. Press into His heart and He will press toward you and great healing will come to you like a flood. Your mind will be overwhelmed by His Glory that is coming your way and you will begin to understand God's PURPOSE for your life -- walking and not growing weary and running and not fainting -- bearing fruit that lasts. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  22. Spend time in prayer so that you can get your spirit in shape. You were made to worship God. Jarius was a man who was desperate to worship God, and he was willing to fall on his face and worship God, even though a crowd of people was standing around, He wasn't ashamed. "And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw Him (Jesus), he fell at his feet." - Mark 5:22 If we are concerned about what people think in an attempt to gain their approval (or honor), we will never take a stand in faith for anything that might be criticized. There is indeed a holy radiance surrounding a true Spirit-filled Christian. But when you harbor sin, "your light" becomes "darkness". The devil can traffic in any area of darkness, even the darkness that still exists in a Christian's heart. "So be very careful that your light never becomes darkness." - Luke 11:35 AFFIRMATIONS: God is asking me to bring Him His Word, to plead my covenant rights. I do not pray to God in ignorance but as a partner in His purposes. The Holy Spirit works mightily in me, giving me all the power I need to resist every assault the devil tries to bring against me. I confess that I walk in forgiveness! Offense, bitterness, strife, and unforgiveness have no place in my life. I am full of mercy, longsuffering, and slow to anger. Linger in His Presence a while. Rein in your impulses to plunge into the day’s activities. Beginning your day alone with Him is essential preparation for success. A great athlete takes time to prepare himself mentally for the feat ahead of him before he moves a muscle. Similarly, your time of being still in His Presence equips you for the day ahead of you. If you are not adequately equipped for the journey, you will grow weary and lose heart. Relax with Him while He readies you for action. "For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." - Ephesians 2:10 "Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." - Hebrews 12:3 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  23. "How can you give me "living water?" - John 4:11 Prayer: Flow out of me, O'well, with living water from the river of God. Holiness is not "Clean yourself up then come to Jesus" but rather "Come to Jesus just as you are then He will clean you up." True faith walks and believes in what Jesus has already accomplished and will not be discouraged by the appearances of the temporary realm. The gospel can be preached by an archbishop in a cathedral or by a converted drug dealer in a tent. The gospel itself is the greatness, the power, the majesty and the wonder of God on any occasion. Paul said his objective was "by all means to save some" -- 1 Corinthians 9:22 We cannot afford to have a moment in our lives when circumstances distract us from tending the fire of His presence in our heart. AFFIRMATIONS: I have the exact Word I need for every situation - a specific, quickened word from the scriptures. Because this Rhema from God is in my heart, I have real sword power to use against the enemy! I confess that I have taken my place in God's plan. It will take unbelievable strength and energy to move that vision from the realm of dreams to the realm of reality. Because of the Holy Spirit in me, I have the strength. Micah 4:1 - "Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the There are those in the Body of Christ who are still in a very dry place spiritually, but beginning to move up mountains towards a fresh anointing. They have crossed the desert sands and are positioned for the spiritual ascent to the heights, far above worldliness and carnal living.hills; and peoples shall flow to it." God will continue to unfold and reveal His PURPOSE for us as we begin our ascent. He is with you. Heaven’s bells continually peal with that promise of His Presence. Some people never hear those bells because their minds are earthbound and their hearts are closed to Him. Others hear the bells only once or twice in their lifetimes, in rare moments of seeking Him above all else. His desire is that His “sheep” hear His voice continually, for He is the ever-present Shepherd. Quietness is the classroom where you learn to hear His voice. Beginners need a quiet place in order to still their minds. As you advance in this discipline, you gradually learn to carry the stillness with you wherever you go. When you step back into the mainstream of life, strain to hear those glorious bells: He is with you. "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." - Jeremiah 29:12–13“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me… My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.” - John 10:14, 27–28 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  24. Oh, how the Lord longs for His church to receive a revelation of His ravished heart - utterly overwhelmed with delight for us - even though we may not like or believe in ourselves. (Psalm 45:11) We have been created to carry the glory of God. Hebrews 2 says that through Christ's suffering He brought many sons to glory. We are the house of God, and He wants to dwell in His house. It was always God's intention to dwell with mankind. "Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!" - Corinthians 5:17 The Scriptures entreat us to go from glory to glory -- allowing us always to sustain the glory released in us so we can proceed further to the greater realms of glory He desires to display in us. "But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. - 2 Corinthians 3:18 As the will of God grows on you -- gentle impressions become waves of stronger urgency until you have clear conviction. If you don't keep your spirit built up in God, how are you going to listen to Him? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  25. Romans 4:17 -- ....."God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did." Sometimes we feel pain from sickness. How can we go around saying the Christ has redeemed us from this sickness? How can we say that by His stripes we are healed? God's way is to call those things that are not as though they are. And because we are made in God's image, we can also call those things that are not as though they are! When God wanted to make Abraham a father of many nations, what did He do? HE CHANGED THE WAY ABRAHAM TALKED. At that time, Abraham did not even have a single child from his wife, Sarah, because she was barren. So how could he become a father of many nations? God changed the way he talked, How? By changing his name from Abram to Abraham, which means "father of many nations." Every time he said his name he called forth what God saw him already blessed with. When Jesus saw the man with a withered hand, He didn't say, "My goodness! It is so withered!" He said, "Stretch out your hand! (Matthew 12:13). He CALLED FORTH what he wanted. He looked at the paralytic and said, "Rise, take up your bed and go home!" (Matthew 9:6). He didn't see it the way it was in the natural. He saw the way God meant it to be and He called it forth. AFFIRMATION: I change the way I talk -- I see the way God meant it to be, and start calling forth my miracle. Often, the battle is not with the devil, but with our own CARNAL NATURE. Our flesh really longs to rise up and fix things, stating our opinion. We must remember--the greater the faith, the fewer the words. If there are some battles or power-struggles going on in your sphere of influence, keep in mind, it's best to always bow lower. After all, God became a baby to conquer the world. For it's, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit, says the Lord." - Zechariah 4:6 As You Allow Him to Change You, He will Change Your Circumstances: The season of depression, confusion, lack, and sinful cycles is over. Don't look back -- Don't bring up the past -- It is under the Blood of Christ. Just as your sins have been forgiven forgive others. Let go of the bitterness and the regrets. Crucify your ego. Release the anger. He will work everything for good. Get ready to move into new realms of His glory. Every time you encounter His glory He is changing you. He is changing your thoughts. He is changing your perspective. He is increasing the power of His Spirit in you. He is anointing you to bring breakthrough to others. Receive the fresh prophetic flow of His presence. Be refreshed. Receive an excitement for that which is coming. The future is full of adventure. Expect Him to do mighty things for nothing is impossible for those who believe! "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." - Ephesians 1:18 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
