  1. Luke 11:13, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him." One of the most powerful ways we can "turn the tide" of what is going on in our lives and the things going on around us is through our surrendered worship. Maybe you feel like the tide is against you right now. Realize that you can turn the tide through your simplicity of worship to the Lord. It does not need to be a big display, but it does need to be fresh. Through the spirit of worship we are able to access the realms of glory where revelation flows (Revelation 19:10). ACCESS A FREEDOM CONSCIOUSNESS When revelation flows there is truth present that has the power to make you free. You shall "know" the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). The Word of God is truth but it needs to be accompanied with the Spirit of Revelation, just as Jesus told Peter that He would build His Church on the rock of revelation. Matthew 16:17-18, "Jesus answered and said to him, 'Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in Heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.'" What Jesus was referring to here was not a one-time event in Peter's life or in our lives, but a continual flow of the Spirit of Revelation in us (Ephesians 1:17). Without the light of revelation making God's Word alive to us, it is still just ink on paper. God's Spirit makes the Word of God alive in our hearts. Through a heart of worship, our relationship is made alive thereby propelling us into a place of living light and revelation concerning the truth of God. Psalm 119:105, "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Our worship powerfully transforms us and the atmosphere around us because it has an innate heavenly multi-faceted effect upon our lives. Worship: (in the context of vocalization and surrender to God): • Causes us to be filled with the Holy Spirit, making us habitations of God. • Changes the spiritual climates surrounding us. • Refreshes our spirit, soul, and body. • Enables us to enter into the courts of the Lord. • Establishes the Lordship of Christ in our hearts. Ephesians 5:18-20, "And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." ACCESSING OUR VAST INHERITANCE Don't settle for good when you can have the best. God wants us to have the best! Our Father has a vast rich inheritance for us to access right here and now. Realize that the Holy Spirit is an essential ingredient for your life to flourish. Get your full inheritance. Get your fresh bread from the Holy Spirit. Turn the tide of your life through the simplicity of devotion and worship. Don't allow the enemy to steal the most basic and essential life-giving ingredients for your life. If you need to learn how to worship, then ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Yield yourself to God casting everything you are and have upon Him. Jesus said, "How much more will your Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask!" Luke 11:13, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him." Realize what your Father has for you (God's PURPOSE for your life) and begin to turn the tide through your surrendered heart of worship and thanksgiving today. A fresh heart of worship will break you through to a new place where the rivers of living waters flow freely! Take hold, drink deep and overflow! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  2. Luke 11:9 - "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." JESUS IS TELLING US, "DON'T STOP AFTER YOU PRAY. GET UP AND GO LOOK FOR WHAT YOU ASKED FOR. YOU WILL FIND IT IF YOU SEEK IT. IT MAY BE BEHIND SOME CLOSED DOORS. IF THAT IS THE CASE, THEN KNOCK. WHEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO HOLD IT BACK, JUST KEEP PERSISTING UNTIL THE DOOR FALLS DOWN. ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD, IF YOU KNOCK, IT WILL COME TO PASS. THIS IS THE MEANING OF ACTIVE PRAYER. 2 Timothy 3:17 - "That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." We as kings and priests in God's kingdom are the anointed ones, the sons and daughters of fresh oil, endued with gifts of power, strength, and grace to enable us to accomplish the spiritual WORK we're called to (God's PURPOSE for our life). "You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only." - James 2:24 Jesus is not looking at our intentions, wishes, or knowledge of what is right. He is looking at our works! Are we allowing the grace of God to produce holy living and advance His Kingdom in our lives, or have we received the grace of God in vain? Affirmations: I CONFESS AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD DAY BY DAY. THAT WORD DECKS ME OUT - EQUIPPING, OUTFITTING, AND FURNISHING ME WITH ALL THE SPIRITUAL GEAR I NEED TO TAKE THE ADVENTUROUS TRIP GOD HAS PLANNED FOR MY LIFE. WITH GOD'S WORD FITTED TIGHTLY IN PLACE, I AM READY TO SET SAIL AND FOLLOW WHEREVER THE HOLY SPIRIT LEADS! I DECLARE THIS BY FAITH IN JESUS' NAME! Song of Solomon 2:13 - "The fig tree has put forth her green figs, and the flowering vines give a pleasant fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come." COME OUT OF YOURSELF TO ENTER THIS LAND! HE WHO OWNS THE LAND PROMISES THE LAND TO ALL. THE PURCHASE WAS MADE WITH HIS BLOOD AND HE EARNESTLY INVITES ALL TO ENTER INTO IT. THE BRIDEGROOM (JESUS) FURNISHES YOU WITH ALL THE MEANS OF DOING SO. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  3. 2 Timothy 2:24,26 - "And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." Anything broken can be repaired; anything closed can be opened; anything lost can be recovered. "He must grow greater, but I must grow less." - John 3:30 WET Joshua waited or "lingered" in the presence of God and he was entrusted to lead God's people after Moses. David spent endless hours in the presence of God, and he took down giants and turned the heart of his nation toward God in radical worship. There is something in this hour to laying everything down for the encounter that echoes throughout eternity. Allowing Him to become greater means I must "empty myself" and become less. The Lord is saying that this is a time of an "increase of the anointing" in the earth, for sons and daughters who seek His face. There is something so powerful about an encounter that the person who leaves it, is not the same person that went in. We become less and He becomes more. We have the privilege in this life of living as an altar to the Lord, continually giving Him all of us in exchange for all of Him. God is calling us to be like those in Acts 2 in the upper room, who were sought Him until the Spirit came like a mighty rushing wind and flames of fire! There is a fresh hunger that is unleashing the response of Heaven. This truly is the hour of a fresh baptism, and just like Samuel laying down in the temple, God is calling your name and saying to "come and sit and wait in His presence" until the very thing He desires to impart and give to you comes. Affirmations:I AM STIRRED TO GREATER LEVELS OF HUNGER TODAY AS I LEAVE THE SHORES OF FAMILIARITY. NOW, I RECEIVE THE FRESH FIRE OF JESUS' LOVE IN MY HEART THAT WILL REBRAND AND REFUEL ME FOR THE GREATEST DAYS OF KINGDOM EXPLOITS. I AM BEING TRANSFORMED AS I WAIT, LINGER, AND LAY DOWN IN HIS PRESENCE. Song of Solomon 2:12 - "The flowers have appeared on the earth: the pruning-time is come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land." THE VOICE OF THE TURTLEDOVE - THE HUMANITY OF CHRIST - INVITES YOU TO LOSE YOURSELF AND HIDE YOURSELF WITH HIM IN THE BOSOM OF THE FATHER. CHRIST CALLS YOU TO "OUR LAND" BECAUSE HE HAS WON IT FOR YOU BY HIS REDEMPTION. THE FLOWERS THAT GROW THERE NEVER FADE, FOR THEY HAVE NO FEAR OF WINTER COMING AGAIN. 4. "And Saul armed David with his armor, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. And David girded his sword upon his armor, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, 'I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them.' And David put them off him." 1 Samuel 17:38-39 Get out of the cookie cutter -- Be who God made you to be. Don't compare yourself to someone else. Throw off Saul's armor. Don't be conformed to a teaching or a doctrine, be conformed to the image of Christ. We are changed from glory to glory as by the Spirit of the Lord as we behold HIM. Don't be a parrot that just repeats what someone else says—find your life, identity, purpose and devotion with God in the secret place. Discover your value as you pursue Him and as you are changed by beholding His face. Here your true nature that is created in true righteousness and holiness, will rise to the surface of your life—with His light and countenance shining upon you! "Now the Lord is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, seeing the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, as in a mirror, are being transformed (transfigured/metamorphoō) into the same image (eikōn) from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord." - 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 John 16:13 - "However, when He comes who is the Spirit of truth, he will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but will tell only what He hears; and He will make known to you the things that are coming." The deep things of God are known only to Him, but are revealed to us through His Spirit. That is the promise of 1 Corinthians 2. Indisputably, our great desire is to soar in the Spirit and obtain revelations of God's nature, power, strategy, and insight. However, to best accommodate this great privilege, we must be firmly "rooted and grounded" in Him. We must "Go deep in order to go high!" WE MUST BE: 1. Rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17).2. Rooted and grounded in faith (Understanding Christ's finished work, who we are in Christ and our inheritance in Christ.)3. Rooted and grounded in truth (Understanding God's Purpose for our life - our CALLING in Christ.) The more firmly we are grounded, the more capable we become to penetrate Heaven by the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation and embrace insight with understanding. AFFIRMATIONS: I confess that I am led by the Spirit of God! Because I cooperate with Him, I don't waste valuable time, energy, or money, and I don't shed a lot of unnecessary tears. He leads me past every attack: He helps me avoid each strategy of the devil; and He safely guides me to the place where God wants me to be! Song of Solomon 2:11 - "For lo! the winter is past, the rain is over and gone." YOU COULD HAVE FROZEN FROM THE EXCESSIVE COLD OR BEEN OVERWHELMED BY THE SNOWS AND STORMS OF SINS. INSTEAD, YOU BECOME STRONG DURING THE TIME WHEN YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED THE LORD WITHIN WHILE THE STORMS WERE RAGING WITHOUT. THE COLD HAS DESTROYED ALL THE INSECTS - THAT IS, THINGS THAT WERE FORMERLY ACTIVE IN YOU AND WOULD HAVE DESTROYED YOU. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  5. Stand firm and do not be moved! As believers, we are rooted and grounded in His magnificent love. Because we are established in His love, we can have a peace that passes all natural understanding. And we have COURAGE, the depth of which is confidence in the Lord. "And that Christ will make His home in your hearts, through faith. I pray that you will have your roots and foundations in love so that.....you will have the power to understand how broad and long and deep is Christ's love. " - Ephesians 3:17 This place of trust is beyond the natural ability of a person. It comes only through a relationship with the Lord, who will lead us and bring to pass all He has purposed for us (ourCALLING in Christ). As we are directed by Him, we can also be assured that He is making every path straight. As believers, we declare that we, "Trust in the LORD with all [our] heart, and lean not on [our] own understanding; in all [our] ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct [our] paths." - Proverbs 3:56 GOD-EMPOWERED BOLDNESS This creates in us PERSEVERANCE THROUGH OUR FAITH as we hear and are led by Him. Holy perseverance is God-empowered boldness or courage that enables us deep within to persevere. One way we can define perseverance is simply to stay the course. This is a powerful blessing from the Lord that enables us to believe the impossible is possible. It is a work of the Holy Spirit within that enables us to have strength to stay the course, regardless of present circumstances or situations. This is what the prophet Isaiah wrote about: "Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice." - Isaiah 41:10 AMP HERE IS THE INCREDIBLE PROMISE: You can stay the course because of the enabling of the strength of the Lord for you and in you! Believe that the Holy Spirit will release an even greater strengthening deep within so that you will stand firm for the promises of the Lord for your life and your family. As you lean into the Lord, you will go from strength to strength with deep courage to believe for the impossible to be possible. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  6. Romans 10:17 - "So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing, by the word of God." Notice that it does not say, faith comes from "having heard." The whole nature of faith implies a relationship with God that is current. The emphasis is on hearing.......in the now! Faith has its anchor in the unseen realm. It lives from the invisible toward the visible. Faith actualizes what it realizes. Faith has focus and purpose. Faith grabs hold of the reality of the Kingdom and forcefully and violently brings it into a collision with this natural one. An inferior kingdom cannot stand. For one who has faith in the Word of God, there is nothing impossible. There are no impossibilities when there is faith..........and there are no exceptions.Observation: IF I WANT TO KEEP ADVANCING MY FAITH, I HAVE TO BE PLANTED. I PLANT MYSELF IN A PLACE WHERE THE WORD IS PREVALENT AND THE PEOPLE AROUND ME ARE CONTINUALLY SPEAKING AND LIVING IT. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." - John 8:36 It says in the Word that the Lord cuts off every branch that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful (John 15:2). Although His "cutting away" process can be painful to our flesh, it is all for good. God is getting rid of the old wineskins and making room for the new. This can be a vulnerable process; often during times like this, the enemy tries to come in and deceive. Yet, just as it's written, "the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy..." but the Lord has come so that we can have life more abundantly (John 10:10). Those God uses the most often endure the most intense time of pruning. However, it is so that they are prepared to carry the "more" that He is about to release upon them. To whom much is given, much is required (Luke 12:48). It is vital to look beyond what we see in the natural, having absolute trust that the Lord will complete the good work that He started in us (Philippians 1:6). He tears down, but He also rebuilds (Job 12:14, Isaiah 61:4)Today is the day of new assignments and greater favor. If you are currently experiencing turbulence, just hold on. This will soon clear, for the Son is breaking forth and you will experience a new day! "...What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived -- the things God has prepared for those who love Him." - 1 Corinthians 2:9) Song of Solomon 2:10 - Behold, my beloved speaks to me and says, "Rise up, my love, my dove, my fair one, and come." GOD TURNS YOU WITHIN, TOWARD HIM, AND PREPARES YOU FOR UNION WITH HIM THROUGH HIS HOLY EMBRACE. THE BELOVED (JESUS) SPEAKS TO YOU AND INVITES YOU TO COME QUICKLY OUT OF YOURSELF. HE NO LONGER ASKS YOU TO REST, BUT COMMANDS YOU TO RISE UP. " I HAVE LED YOU DEEPLY WITHIN TO FIND ME; NOW I COME OUT AND ASK YOU TO FOLLOW ME OUT OF YOURSELF." THIS IS A CALL TO DEPART FROM YOUR SELF-NATURE. YOU MUST LOSE POSSESSION OF YOURSELF IN ORDER TO BE POSSESSED BY GOD ALONE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  7. "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day..." - Psalm 91:2-6 God promises us that we have no need to fear the demonic entities that will be in operation during this season because He will deliver us from the "...snare of the fowler and the noisome pestilence" (Psalm 91:3). The snare of the fowler is a symbol for demonic ambushes and traps that the enemy will try to set up against us. Noisome pestilence is symbolic of things that come into our life to try and drain our resources—just like pestilences come to destroy a farmer's crops. Yet, when we dwell in God's secret place, God will make sure that what He has blessed us with will not be devoured. DWELLING IN HIS SECRET PLACE "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust." - Psalm 91:1-2 It is in our personal time with God that He will give us divine strategies and speak to us about what is to come. We have to have our spiritual ears and eyes open to hear what God is saying to us in this season. God is saying to us that when we abide in Him, He will build a wall of protection around us. No matter what evil is going on in our nation, or even within our territory of influence, it will not be able to touch us because God will be our refuge! GOD WILL PROTECT US FROM SICKNESS DURING THIS SEASON "Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling." - Psalm 91:9-10 God wants to comfort us by letting us know that He is going to protect us from sickness and disease. Cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, etc., are all plagues. God wants to encourage you that no matter what sickness or disease that you have been attacked with—He wants to bring healing to you. LOVE WILL BRING US INTO MASS DELIVERANCE "Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver Him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My name." - Psalm 91:14 The only way we will ever be able to annihilate evil is by setting our love upon Christ. This begins with receiving Christ's love in our heart. As we affirm that we are receiving Christ's love, we then give our love back to Jesus. We demonstrate this action by permitting Christ to live through us as we help others with their spiritual needs. God says that when we purposely focus our love on Christ and make Him our main priority, He will deliver us from all evil. This not only means that God will remove evil from us, but He will also make sure that evil never comes near us. Isn't that so awesome to know that if we concentrate on loving Jesus and demonstrating His character among those we come in contact with, evil strategies and plans that satan has for us (i.e. sickness, disease, failure, trauma, job terminations, etc.) will never even occur? God will literally shut down the enemy's plans before they even come our way. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  8. Psalm 1:3 - "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." Water is used as a symbol of the word of God. The tree is "planted by streams of water." It is healthy and yields fruit because it is near the water and can draw the water by its roots. Observation: IN THE SAME WAY I AM CONNECTED TO THE WORD OF GOD SO IT CAN FLOW CONTINUOUSLY INTO MY LIFE -- THEN I WILL BEAR MY FRUIT IN ITS SEASON. Revelation 2:6 - "But you have this in your favor; You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate." THE DOCTRINE OF THE NICOLAITANS IS COMPROMISE WITH THE WORLD. Affirmations: I CONFESS THAT I AM FREE FROM THE WORLD! I DO NOT WALK IN COMPROMISE! AS A RESULT OF MY FIRM DETERMINATION TO WALK WITH GOD, I HAVE POWER OVER SIN, POWER OVER SATAN, AND POWER WHEN I PRAY. I AM CONFIDENT THAT HIS PRESENCE IN MY LIFE IS GETTING STRONGER TOO! Song of Solomon 2:8 - "The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills." YOU HEAR AND RECOGNIZE HIS VOICE AT ONCE. THE BRIDEGROOM (JESUS) BOTH EMBRACES YOU AND DWELLS WITHIN YOU. HE DOES NOT MERELY WALK UPON THE HILLS (WHICH ARE THE MORE EXTERNAL PARTS OF YOUR SOUL), BUT UPON THE MOUNTAINS (THE DEEPEST PART OF YOUR SPIRIT). YOU ARE IN UNION WITH GOD WHICH DEEPLY CHANGES YOU WITHIN. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  9. Matthew 11:29 - "Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest." Imagine bringing a problem, wrapped in a "burden bundle," to the throne of Jesus. Picture Him reaching out and offering to take it. Does the picture include your being all too glad to turn it over to Him or do you imagine yourself hesitating? Remember that trust is a part of praise. Affirmations: TODAY I STOP FIGHTING WITH GOD AND LEARN FROM HIM! I LET HIS WORD PUT TO DEATH THE TORMENTS OF THE SIN NATURE. I CEASE STRUGGLING; I CEASE WRESTLING AGAINST THE BLESSED ONE FOR I AM COMMITTED TO SURRENDER. MY REST COMES FROM BECOMING HONEST ABOUT MY NEEDS AND ALLOWING CHRIST TO CHANGE ME. "Listen! I hear the voice of someone shouting, 'Make a road for the Lord through the wilderness; make Him a straight, smooth road through the desert. Fill the valleys; level the hills; straighten out the crooked paths, and smooth off the rough spots in the road. The glory of the Lord will be seen by all mankind together.' The Lord has spoken-it shall be." - Isaiah 40:3-5 (The Living Bible) How do we "make a road for the Lord?" We do that by removing anything and everything from our lives that would hinder the way of the Lord. One translation says, "Remove all the obstacles out of His way. Next, we are told to "shout" in Isaiah 40:6-10 "Shout that man is like the grass that dies away, and all his beauty fades like dying flowers. ... O crier of good news, shout to Jerusalem from the mountaintops! Shout louder—don't be afraid-tell the cities of Judah, 'Your God is coming!' Yes, the Lord God is coming with mighty power; He will rule with awesome strength. See, His reward is with Him, to each as He has done." - Isaiah 40:6-10 What does that mean for us? It means, whatever has been standing in the way of the manifestation of the Word of God in your life, speak to it, shout to it—prophesy to it! It must fade away and the Word of God must come forth in manifestation. And finally, the Scripture says: "Your God is coming!" Yes, the Lord God is coming with mighty power. He will rule with awesome strength. See, "His reward is with Him, to each as he has done" - Isaiah 40:10 Song of Solomon 2:5,6 - "Sustain me with flowers, refresh me with apples; for I am lovesick. His left hand is under my head, and his right hand shall embrace me." AS SOON AS THE BRIDEGROOM (JESUS) SETS HIS LOVE WITHIN YOU, HE THEN BLESSES YOU WITH FELLOWSHIP DEEP WITHIN YOUR SPIRIT. YOU ARE ABLE TO BEAR MORE AND MORE OF GOD'S PRESENCE WITHOUT GROWING FAINT. CONFIRMED IN LOVE, YOU LIVE IN GOD. 1 John 4:16 - "Thus we have come to know and believe the love which God has for us. God is love; he who dwells in love is dwelling in God, and God in him." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  10. To secure our attention and place us on the pathway God desires, there are strategies that He employs that are very effective. As much as we are not to be ignorant of satan's devices (2 Cor. 2:11), we must be even more knowledgeable of the ways of the Lord (Ps. 25:4). Knowing God's ways will result in us experiencing His mighty acts (Psalms 103:7). Three ways God works to move us in a new direction: 1. DISRUPTION OF OUR PLANS When stuck at an impasse, it is a natural tendency to return to familiar surroundings. We see this in the lives of the disciples after Jesus' death. They went back to fishing even though they had clearly been mandated to forsake their vocation and follow Christ (see Luke 5:10-11; John 21:3). Because they were commercial fishermen, there may even have been economic motives behind their actions. Nevertheless, we see clearly that there was no lasting provision and no permanent peace in returning to past environments. When God leads us out of a place of familiarity and the way forward is blocked, what is the solution? There are some breakthroughs reserved for us that can only be accessed through prayer. We must seek God until we receive a clear answer from Heaven. Whether it was Paul's night vision of the man in Macedonia summoning him, or the voice of Jesus speaking to the disciples on the seashore in Galilee, the New Testament Christians received clear direction from the Spirit and were able to regain momentum and experience breakthrough. 2. DISSIPATION OF RESOURCES Just as Elijah had foretold, the word of the Lord came to pass. "And there was a severe famine in Samaria ..." (1 Kings 18:2). During the famine, God looked after Elijah. He gave him specific instruction relative to how he would be sustained. "Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 'Get away from here and turn eastward and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.' So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook" (1 Kings 17:2-6). Cherith which means "place of covenant," was where the Lord demonstrated His faithfulness in taking care of Elijah. However, the day would come when the brook would run dry and the birds would no longer fly (see 1 Kings 17:7). Although Elijah had come to depend on such provision, God seemed to have no compunction at all in cutting off these resources. Has Your Brook Dried Up? Have you experienced something similar? Your streams of resource have dried up. During such a time, trust that the Lord will soon speak to you like He did to Elijah. "Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 'Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you'" (1 Kings 17:8-9). You will see that the place where He leads you will be the place where He feeds you. Where the Lord guides, He provides! 3. DISSOLUTION OF RELATIONSHIPS Here is a powerful truth to embrace when a key connection you value has dissolved for no apparent legitimate reason: The Lord is turning the hearts of men in the direction He desires (Prov. 21:1) and is, in fact, making it easier for you to let go and move forward into your next assignment. Therefore, do not take the matter personally nor become bitter with people as though they are rejecting you. TRUSTING IN GOD'S GOOD GUIDANCE Sometimes Father God's ways do not make sense to us. Scripture even attests to this reality."For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:9). No matter how it may appear on the surface, He is actively involved in the affairs of our lives. On occasion, He may even interrupt our plans resulting in us experiencing a sense of anxiety due to a perceived loss of control. However, as uncomfortable as we may become, we must trust that He is leading us along the best pathway for our lives. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye on you" (Psalms 32:8). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  11. "'Shall I bring to the point of birth and not give delivery?' says the LORD. 'Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb?' says your God." - Isaiah 66:9 The seeds that the Lord has given you and placed within you, the Lord has decreed that their fruition and fullness will leave you in awe and wonder of who He is. Through the THRIVING of the seeds He has given you, you are going to see Him in a whole new way. You are going to go deeper in intimacy with Him in a whole new way. The release of these new seeds are decreeing and ushering in the new season of deeper wonder and awe of who He is. A whole new level of praise will break out from within you. A whole new level of worship will rise to Him. A whole new depth of thankfulness. Not only will you be in awe and wonder of Him like never before, you will know His love that will leave you undone and marked again. You will fall in love with Him deeper than you have ever been and be yielded to Him in a more beautiful way than you have experienced before. "Fasten me upon your heart as a seal of fire forevermore. This living, consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love. My passion is stronger than the chains of death and the grave, all-consuming as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God. Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being." - Song of Solomon 8:6 (The Passion Translation) Mark 10:44,45 - "And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many." There is an important link between acts of serving others and gaining spiritual understanding and revelation that we must lay hold of in this generation. When Jesus turned water into wine at the wedding in Cana of Galilee, the Bible points out.... "When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but THE SERVANTS KNEW who had drawn the water) the master of the feast called the bridegroom." (John 2:9) The ones who were serving actually had more understanding and insight into this notable miracle and the One who performed it, than those who were "masters" over the wedding. We discover a distinct connection between receiving revelation from God and being a servant. Affirmations: I CONFESS THAT MY LIFE SHOWS FORTH AN EXCELLENT IMAGE OF WHO JESUS IS AND WHAT HE STANDS FOR IN THIS WORLD. I AM HIS REPRESENTATIVE, AND THEREFORE I DO EVERYTHING WITH THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF EXCELLENCE! Song of Solomon 2:4 - "He brought me into the wine-cellars and set love in order within me." YOU COME FROM YOUR DELIGHTFUL FELLOWSHIP WITH THE KING (JESUS) INTOXICATED WITH LOVE FOR YOU HAVE TASTED OF THE FINEST WINE. THE KING HAS BROUGHT YOU INTO HIS WINE-CELLARS WHERE YOU WILL DRINK DEEPLY OF HIM. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  12. Matthew 16:19 - "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." WHEN WE DO NOT LIVE IN OUR POSITION OF AUTHORITY, IT IS BECAUSE WE DO NOT RECOGNIZE OR ACCEPT OUR CALLING IN CHRIST, BECAUSE WE DO NOT KNOW OUR COVENANT RIGHTS. MAN'S REDEMPTION ALLOWS HIM TO HAVE DOMINION. AFFIRMATIONS AND DECLARATIONS: I perform a prophetic act and decree that every door (that impedes my CALLING in Christ) that is locked is now unlocked and open! I decree that my words from God are yes and amen. Today, I am encouraging myself in the Lord. What He has spoken will come to pass. I decree that I have a courageous heart like David and that as he did, I completely surrender my life to My God. I praise my God in all that He does. "But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: Let all the angels of God worship Him. Of the angels He says: 'He makes His angels spirits, and His servants a flame of fire.'" - Hebrews 1:6-7 There will be a growing consciousness of the angelic activity in our midst, especially as we activate them in through our worship. The angels are activated and energized by our surrendered pursuit of God. We know the angels rejoice when someone comes to the Lord and that they are here to help us advance His Kingdom. When Heaven is manifested on the earth, it stirs and shifts things in the invisible realm where God's angels are activated. As we continue to engage with God – manifesting His Kingdom in such a way that the light of His presence changes atmospheres – His heavenly hosts will bring their assistance to us. Song of Solomon 2:3 - "As an apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under the shadow of him whom I desired, and his fruit was sweet to my taste." THE BELOVED (JESUS) IS THE MOST PLEASING SIGHT IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH. HIS BRIDE SITS UNDER THE SHADOW OF HIS PROTECTION. HIS FRUIT, EVEN THE FRUIT OF THE CROSS, IS SWEET TO TASTE. THIS FRUIT IS NOT SWEET TO THE FLESH, BUT TO THE SPIRIT. ONCE TASTED, IT IS MORE DESIRABLE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com

  14. The cave of Adullam is where David hid with his band of distressed, indebted and discontented men (1 Samuel 22). From these 400 came David's mighty army. After David was anointed King, the Philistines came against him and he went into the "hold" (2 Samuel 5:17), which 1 Chronicles 11:15 indicates was the cave of Adullam. David sought the Lord and had victory. The Philistines regathered and David once again sought the Lord. "Therefore David inquired again of God; and God said unto him, 'Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the Philistines.'" - 1 Chronicles 14:14-15 KJV It is time to come out of the caves of hiding, the caves of "lowland" thinking, and renew our minds to the highest realms – the mind of Christ. The veil has been torn and we have access to all. Our "lowland" thinking is creating the bars of the cage holding back the glory of God from manifesting in our lives! We needed to be in the cave for a time of healing and building, but it is now time for His glory to be manifested in the earth. The sound of the "going" in the mulberry trees (according to Strong's Concordance) is "marching." The armies of the living God are on high alert, waiting for the sound to come forth, and He will go before us and fight our enemies! It is time for the new sound to be birthed. It will cause a vibration that will affect every born again Believer to come forth in His Glory. It is time to go forth and subdue the land. The subduing is not a laying down under, subduing will come when His sound rises as thunder. All will see and all will know that Jesus is Lord -- let His glory flow. 15. John 5:17,19-20 - "My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I, too, am working. I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees His Father doing, because whatever the father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all He does." Worship is more than just music or art; it's a lifestyle (Romans 12:1). We need to live like Jesus did, open our eyes and see what the Father is doing, and then do it. Not just to see the need, but also to meet the need. Anyone can be a THERMOMETER and just gauge the spiritual temperature, but we're called to be THERMOSTATS and to change the spiritual temperature! We're not called to just point out sickness, poverty, and sin; we're called to change those ashes into beauty. After all, it's Christ in us that is the hope of glory! Observation:WHAT JESUS ACCOMPLISHED ON EARTH, HE ACCOMPLISHED IN HIS HUMANITY, NOT HIS DIVINITY. OTHERWISE, HE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MAN'S REPRESENTATIVE AND SUBSTITUTE. HE RELIED ON THE GRACE AND SPIRIT OF GOD. I CAN DO THE SAME. AFFIRMATIONS:I arise and walk in dominion power, and lay a hold of the promises of God. The Holy Spirit who lives within me is greater than the spirit that is at work in the world (1 John 4:4). God is calling for me to arise and take a strong stand against the works of darkness (Jude 1-4). I am to take the land. Each day I seek to draw ever nearer to Christ, seeking to yield, ever deeper, my will to His will. (2 Corinthians 3:18) Hebrews 12:29 - "For our God is a consuming fire". OBSERVATION: If I am truly getting closer to Him, the fire in my life will be growing. Song of Solomon 2:1,2 - "I am the flower of the field and the lily of the valleys. As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters." YOU ARE LIKE A PURE AND PLEASANT LILY AND A SWEET FRAGRANCE BEFORE HIM (JESUS). THERE ARE OTHER DAUGHTERS, HOWEVER, WHO ARE NOT YET PLIABLE AND SUBMITTED TO HIS SPIRIT. THEY ARE LIKE A DEEP, IMPENETRABLE THICKET OF THORNS - THOSE WHO ARE SELF-POSSESSED AND STILL TAKEN UP WITH THEIR OWN WILL. THE LILY, HOWEVER, PERFECTLY PRESERVES ITS PURITY AND ITS PERFUME, EVEN WHEN SURROUNDED BY THORNS. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  16. 2 Corinthians 1:20 - "For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes in Him (Christ). For this reason we all utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him to the glory of God." The Master has handcrafted each one of us for a specific PURPOSE and a precise time, making sure we've been carefully polished and are ready to soar. With practice comes the testing. This will happen until what the psalmist said of Joseph's testing in Genesis will be true of us: "Until the time that [God's] word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him (Psalm 105:19 NASB).But God is always faithful, and everything He promises will always come to pass, thus thrusting us into our DESTINIES as we bring glory to His name! Observation: THE WORD IS THE GUARANTEE OF ANSWERED PRAYER. GOD IS ASKING ME TO BRING HIM HIS WORD, TO PLEAD MY COVENANT RIGHTS. I AM NOT TO PRAY TO GOD IN IGNORANCE BUT AS A PARTNER IN HIS PURPOSES. 2 Timothy 1:11,12,14 - "God has appointed me to proclaim the Good News as an apostle and teacher, and it is for this reason that I suffer these things. Keep the good things that have been entrusted to you, through the power of the Holy Spirit, who lives in us." Affirmations: I STAY FOCUSED ON MY CALLING AND REMAIN DETERMINED TO DO WHAT GOD HAS TOLD ME TO DO, EVEN IF I AM ASSAULTED BY OUTSIDE FORCES THAT SEEM TO BE BEYOND MY CONTROL. I KNOW THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKS MIGHTILY IN ME, GIVING ME ALL THE POWER I NEED TO RESIST EVERY ASSAULT THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRING AGAINST ME. I AM COMPLETELY DETERMINED AND COMMITTED TO KEEP PUSHING AHEAD AND TO NEVER LET GO UNTIL I'VE ACCOMPLISHED MY GOD-GIVEN MISSION! Song of Solomon 1:14 - "My Beloved is unto me as a cluster of cypress, in the vineyards of Engedi." I AM DISCOVERING THE NEARNESS OF MY BELOVED (JESUS) TO BE LIKE A "CLUSTER OF CYPRESS" (A FRAGRANT SHRUB). HE IS THE ONE WHO GIVES FRAGRANCE AND VALUE TO EVERYTHING THAT IS DONE BY THOSE WHO SEEK HIM. AS I LEARN TO FIND MY JOY IN HIM ALONE, I CAN NO LONGER DELIGHT IN ANYTHING ELSE. TO SEEK ANY OTHER SOURCE OF SATISFACTION IS TO LOSE QUICKLY ALL THAT IS FROM HIM. 18. In the flesh, we are confined in time; but not when we get into the spirit. When we are in the spirit, we can see both backward in time and forward. It is then that God can show us a word of knowledge about a person or situation or a "forward" which is a prophecy. A word of wisdom for us, or someone, could also be considered a "forward." This is because we have His Spirit in us and Ecclesiastes says that eternity is in us. "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity in their hearts..." Ecclesiastes 3:11 THE MEMORY OF ETERNITY He has put eternity in our heart. As we get into the spirit and search the deep things of God, He will show you things to come, but the fact is that it has already been done in eternity -- we have a memory of eternity in our born-again spirit! Sometimes what the world calls Deja Vu (which means "already seen" in French) is simply you experiencing a word of knowledge about something in eternity that you already have within you, and has been there the whole time. The Holy Spirit is bringing all things to your remembrance. John 14:26, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." TIME TO CALL IT FORTH Many times, we see future things that have been there all along—settled in Heaven -- but it is time to call it forth into this place called time. That is why when we seek God and get into the spirit that we begin to get revelation for the future that is relevant for such a time as this! The key of David was intimacy with God -- entering into His presence. It was there that he would gain revelation. "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. "But as it is written, 'Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.' But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. "For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." - 1 Corinthians 2:7-12 If the enemy had known that when they crucified Jesus He would multiply Himself in all of those who received Him, the enemy wouldn't have done it; because now, we are all filled with eternity and have access into that which is beyond this world—unbound by time. We now have access into the mysteries of God and to these eternal things. There is no veil holding us back any longer from the access to all that the eye has not seen! HOW DOES THIS HELP US NOW? This knowledge helps us when we get into the spirit. We can now see what is already finished in Heaven and bring the eternal realm into this place called time. This happens by saying what we hear Him saying and doing what we see him doing! Rev. 19:10 says, "For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." You see, the testimony of Jesus was that He only did what He saw the Father doing, and said what He heard the Father saying. This is why Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 18:18, "Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in Heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in Heaven." SUMMARY: It is already settled in Heaven! Enter into the place where He has seated you, where there is no time! Enter into His rest and you will see and hear and will decree that which is finished in eternity, into your situation on earth! For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things that are not seen are eternal and will last forever! You have the authority to bring eternity into time through your worship of what He has already done! It is time to decree what you see! It is time to decree a thing and so shall it be established on the earth! It is time to bring the eternal into this place called time!" ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  19. Hebrews 4:9,10 - "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his." We may have perfect rest -- that we dare to cast ourselves upon God, and have no care because Christ has: put away sin, has rent the veil, and has sat down on the right hand of the throne.Because all is finished and perfected, we have received the Holy Spirit from heaven in our hearts to make us the partakers of that glorified Christ -- we may with confidence, with boldness, rest in Him to maintain and perfect His work in us in our individual CALLING in Christ. Affirmation: THE REST THAT I SEEK IS NOT A REJUVENATION OF MY ENERGY, IT IS THE EXCHANGE OF ENERGY: MY LIFE FOR GOD'S, THROUGH WHICH THE VESSEL OF MY HUMANITY IS FILLED WITH THE DIVINE PRESENCE AND ALL-SUFFICIENCY OF CHRIST HIMSELF. "Great peace have they which love thy law, and nothing shall offend them." - Psalm 119:165 How can we do that when we feel hurt or angry? When we feel justified being offended? We are to trust God as the lawgiver, the judge, and enactor of justice. God desires to increase His Government in the earth and His Government must be increased in us first. We are instruments of blessing, trusting GOD to judge justly. If we are truly wronged, God will vindicate in His timing and in His ways (perhaps after we learn what we need to learn). Personal offenses are one of the main tools the adversary is using to keep us from moving into our land of promise -- the fullness of our destiny in Christ -- the enemy is trying to keep us from going through our new gates. God allows this. He will reveal the trickery so that we can correct our vision and overcome! "Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in." - Psalm 24:9 Song of Solomon 1:12 - "While the King was resting on His couch, my perfume sent forth its fragrance." YOU EXPERIENCE A SENSE OF THE DEEP AND CENTRAL PRESENCE OF THE BRIDEGROOM (JESUS). THE BRIDEGROOM IS EVER IN THE CENTER OF YOUR SPIRIT. AS AN EARTHLY KING RESTS ON HIS COUCH, SO THE ETERNAL KING RESTS IN THE MIDST OF YOUR SPIRIT. THE PERFUME, YOUR FAITHFULNESS, SENDS FORTH A FRAGRANCE THAT IS SWEET AND PLEASANT. 20. "...He has granted to us His precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature..." - 2 Peter 1:4 Promises from God are met with contradiction in the natural realm. God is announcing a reality to you that will most likely appear very distant and disconnected from your present situation. God's promises are prophetic glimpses of the realities He wants to release into and through your life. SUPERNATURAL BENEFITS OF THE PROMISES OF GOD 1.) Promises Call You to Pull Tomorrow Into Today. Promises will always contradict your present circumstances because God wants you to collaborate with Him, through faith, to bring His promised reality into the present, so that His will can be done. 2.) Promises Teach You to Prophesy. Whether it's a prophetic word, a passage of Scripture the Holy Spirit is highlighting, or some expression of God speaking something to you, you have an assignment—when you receive a promise, you need to align your words with what God is saying. This is the essence of the prophetic: You saying what God is speaking. 3.) Promises Demand Lifestyle Adjustment and Accommodation. The reason there are so many unclaimed, unreleased promises is that the transaction is a two-way street. We just want God to do everything and us do nothing. God, in His glory and love, entrusts promises to us. That's His part. At the same time, we need to steward and carry the promises to fruition. It's not enough to get a prophetic word in a gathering; some people think that just because they "got a word," God is obligated to fulfill it. The Word of the Lord places a demand on your life. Will you adjust everything—your habits, your thought processes, your relationships, your pursuits—according to the promise you received, or will you continue with "life as normal?" Normal will never be invaded by the supernatural as long as we are content to continue with status quo rather than accommodate the promises of God. WHAT GOD IS SAYING TO YOU ABOUT HIS PROMISES 1.) The Lord wants you to inherit new promises: Position yourself and live in expectation! He is not looking for perfect people; just yielded ones. Mary was surely not perfect—she was simply willing to say "Yes" to an impossible promise. 2.) The Lord also wants to send the renewing wind of the Spirit to those of who you received promises in past seasons. He brings resurrection life to past-season promises. Ask the Holy Spirit for a fresh visitation of His resurrection power, breathing life upon those post-season promises and reviving them! "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" - Numbers 23:19 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  21. Matthew 13:26,28-30 - "But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay: lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest." THE QUESTION WE NEED TO ASK IS NOT "WHO IS A TARE?" BUT "AM I TRULY A WHEAT?" WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE, UPROOT OR EVEN TRY TO "DISCERN" THE TARES BEFORE THE HARVEST TIME; EVEN JESUS WILL NOT REMOVE THEM UNTIL THEN. Affirmations: I REALIZE THAT LIKE SEEDS, WORDS ARE VERY LIKELY TO MULTIPLY. I CONSIDER EACH DAY THAT MY WORDS WILL BEAR FRUIT. I DETERMINE THAT I WILL ONLY SOW THAT WHICH BRINGS FORTH THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. Proverbs 18:21 - "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'" - John 7:38 We are living wells and it is important to steward, guard, protect, deepen, and open that well. Wherever we go, out of our bellies will flow rivers of living water. God wants us to stay full of the oil. It's so important that we spend time deepening our relationship with Jesus so that when the time comes to enter into greater depths with Him, we are ready (Matthew 25). When you find Jesus in the midst of the whirlwinds surrounding moves of God, keep your eyes fixed on Him no matter what's going on around Him. As we stay focused on the one thing, our heart will burn with greater passion and fire for Jesus than ever before (Psalm 27). The origin of the word "focus" is influenced by the Latin word used for "fire". What we focus on shapes our lives and determines who we will become. When we focus on Jesus and on those things He has entrusted us within each season, this will help make us ready. Prayer: GOD, SEND YOUR FIRE IN EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE AND BURN AWAY ANYTHING THAT IS NOT OF YOU FOR THIS SEASON. REFINE AND BRING TO THE SURFACE THE GOLD. It's important to steward holiness and a consecrated life because the pure in heart will see God (Matthew 5:8). Song of Solomon 1:11 - "We will make for you chains and ornaments of gold, studded with silver." GOLD CHAINS REPRESENT PURE LOVE WHICH HAS ONE PURPOSE; TO DO EVERYTHING FOR GOD'S PLEASURE AND GLORY. THE INLAID SILVER SIGNIFIES THAT NO MATTER HOW WONDERFUL PURE LOVE IS, LOVE MUST STILL BE MADE VISIBLE IN GOOD WORKS. HE EXPECTS YOU TO NEGLECT NOTHING, IN HIS SERVICE OR IN THE SERVICE OF OTHERS. 22. "My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working." - John 5:17 We work and partner with what he is already doing in Heaven. The father works in heaven and we work with the Holy Spirit on earth. "So Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he "sees" the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise." We are totally dependent on the Holy Spirit to discern the Father's will, so we can partner with heaven on earth. "For the Father loves the Son, and "shows Him" all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel." - John 5:19-20 THE KEY IS IN PRAYER AND WAITING The context of the above Scriptures is Jesus and the intimacy he had with the father. In these verses we see a great key to doing his will and manifesting his power. As we affirm and meditate on these verses our expectation to "see" will grow. Jesus knew the key was in prayer and waiting. "Jesus often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed." - Luke 5:16. "Jesus also arose along while before daylight and prayed" - Mark 1:35. He lived to the Fathers will and took the time to pray and see how the Father was working. The blueprints for building and releasing the kingdom already exist already in heaven. There's already a true heavenly copy. For example, Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. God told him to "make all things according to the pattern shown to him on the mountain" - Hebrews 8:5. David was given the pattern for the Temple that his son Solomon would build too. (1 Chronicles 28: 11-19). SPEAK IT OUT We see it and proclaim it! Once we learn how to partner with God, by seeing whatever He directs us to see in the heavens, then we learn how to speak with authority in that realm, calling it forth in prayer. Then it manifests here on the earth. What you do in that kind of experience will change what happens to you in this realm. He is just looking for friends, ones who want to know His mind and His heart. He longs to share the secrets of His heart with those who tune their spiritual ears to listen to what His Spirit is saying. "I will stand at my guard post and station myself on the tower; and I will keep watch to see what He will say to me," -- Habakkuk 2:1 We wait, pray, look and "see" what The Lord "says to me." We must see by revelation. It is key to manifesting his power. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  23. 1 John 1:9 - "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Observation: CONFESSION DOESN'T MEAN BRINGING UP MY PAST. IT MEANS AGREEING WITH GOD ABOUT WHAT HE SAYS TO ME AND ABOUT ME. WHATEVER I TRY TO JUSTIFY, I HAVE NOT REPENTED OF. WHATEVER I TRY TO EXPLAIN, I AM NOT SORRY FOR. WHEN I AGREE THAT GOD IS RIGHT, THAT IS CONFESSING. 1 Corinthians 4:1 - "Let us be looked upon as ministering servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God." The kingdom of heaven is planted within us as a seed and it is intended to grow and expand within us and on the earth. We are called to glory and virtue; We show others how to be neither barren nor unfruitful in the ways of God.Since we are rooted and built up in Christ Jesus we are able to teach others (saved and unsaved) of a higher life in the Lord Jesus. Affirmations:I CONFESS THAT I HAVE TAKEN MY PLACE IN GOD'S PLAN. THE ASSIGNMENT GOD HAS GIVEN ME PROBABLY WON'T BE ACHIEVED QUICKLY. IT WILL TAKE UNBELIEVABLE STRENGTH AND ENERGY TO MOVE THAT VISION FROM THE REALM OF DREAMS TO THE REALM OF REALITY. BECAUSE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN ME, I HAVE THE STRENGTH Song of Solomon 1:10 - "Your cheeks are lovely as a turtledove's; your neck as jewels." The cheeks represent both the inner and the outer life. Here they are compared to the beauty of a turtledove. The dove marries for life. If the dove's partner dies, the dove remains single without seeking another mate. If you were ever separated from you God, you could find no pleasure in anyone or anything else. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  24. 1 Corinthians 2:2 - "For I resolved to know nothing (to be acquainted with nothing, to make a display of the knowledge of nothing, and to be conscious of nothing) among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified." The Holy Spirit within the believer ministers truth by revelation. In other words, it is revealed, not figured out. God does not talk to our brains! He speaks to the spirit of man. Jesus never said that water would flow out of your head, but that, "Out of your innermost being would flow rivers of living water." John 7:36 Observation: NOTHING THAT I SEEK CAN BE AS SATISFYING TO MY SOUL, NO OTHER ANSWER AS BENEFICIAL, AS SEEING CHRIST WITH THE EYES AND UNDERSTANDING OF MY INNER MAN. Ephesians 1:17,18 - "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened." Ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten the eyes of your understanding. Ephesians 6:17 - "And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God." Affirmations:I HAVE THE EXACT WORD I NEED FOR EVERY SITUATION - A SPECIFIC, QUICKENED WORD FROM THE SCRIPTURES, PLACED IN MY HEART BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. BECAUSE THIS RHEMA FROM GOD IS IN MY HEART, I HAVE REAL SWORD POWER TO USE AGAINST THE ENEMY! Song of Solomon 1:7 - "Tell me, you who my soul loves, where you feed you feed your flock, where you rest at mid-day." YOU BEG YOUR BELOVED (JESUS) TO SHOW YOU WHERE HE FEEDS HIS FLOCKS; YOU WANT TO EAT THE FOOD THAT HE GIVES THOSE THAT ARE UNDER HIS CARE. YOU DESIRE TO BE LOST IN GOD WITH JESUS WHERE YOU WILL WANT TO REST FOREVER. SIN CANNOT DECEIVE YOU THERE, AND HE WILL KEEP YOU FROM WANDERING AWAY. Psalm 23: 1,2,6 - "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." 25. Many Believers love on people by telling them how precious they are, help them out with things they need doing, and even say a prayer to bless them but never actually preach the Gospel to them. They try to explain that doing acts of love is synonymous with preaching the Gospel and that they can preach with actions rather than words. WE MUST PREACH THE GOSPEL Mark 16:15 - "And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'" Acts of love are needed but they do not replace preaching the Gospel. Buying food for the homeless, carrying shopping bags for old ladies, showing care and love to the young and healthy and ministering to the sick and disabled are great opportunities to love -- to introduce the ones in front of us to the One who taught us how to love -- Jesus. Share about the Gospel -- Jesus' death and resurrection and how receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior by faith and repentance from sin can bring them into salvation. While it is true that we can't force people into the Kingdom but we must be confident in the Holy Spirit to believe He is already convicting the hearts of the ones we are speaking to and be BOLD to speak the Gospel message and give them the opportunity to receive the Lord. The full Gospel for which the Lord died for must be preached. The ones we regularly interact with but never actually minister the Gospel to if unsaved, when they die, will go to Hell – despite our loving on them! THE JOY OF SALVATION Many times on street outreaches, we bless people with prophetic words and even offer to pray for their sicknesses, but again this does not replace preaching the Gospel of salvation. These are amazing ways to open up peoples hearts to hear the Gospel yet, the prophetic or healing words themselves do not save anyone. They are great tools to open up hearts to the Father's love but are never meant to be used as an end in itself but rather as a means to an end. The salvation of the soul is the ultimate goal. Even if you don't have a prophetic or healing word for the one in front of you, be encouraged to be bold to preach the message of salvation in love and power to them because the Gospel has more than enough power to turn people to Jesus. Let us be restored to the joy of our salvation. Remember that wonderful moment the Lord saved you and be joyful to bring others into the experience of salvation you have. What a joy to bring multitudes into Heaven with us as we understand the urgency of the times we live in. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
