  1. Behold

    The 4 Things

We understand that if someone is kidnapped, and this person belongs to an important, powerful, rich, person, then the kidnappers will want a ransom. (payment) A "ransom" is a buying back, of something, or of someone. When you became born again, when you were saved, God paid a ransom for you, and this is the Blood of Jesus. "you are not your own, you are BOUGHT with a PRICE"....>"You are Christ's and Christ is God's". The Blood of Jesus, is the full payment paid for your ransom, that has "blood bought" you back to God from your "lost" , "separated from God by sin", condition. When a preacher or teacher uses the term "blood bought", they are referring to the ransom that God paid, ....a literal payment which is the cost of-for your sin debt that you owed God, that is Hell and the Lake of Fire. So, the Blood of Jesus paid the PRICE for the eternal judgement due you, so that you would not be eternally damned, and eventually end up in Hell <> Lake of Fire after you died. All This is the eternal consequence of the payment that God accepted on your behalf when Christ was offering Himself FOR YOU, bearing your sin, and in fact "Christ became sin".....on the Cross. This Blood Atomentment Payment is eternally applied to you, as a free gift, the same instant that you from your heart, "called on the name of Jesus", and "received Christ as your Savior". (Justification by Faith) = Alone. In the present, after you are born again, there are 4 main things that you are ransomed from, based on the Blood of Christ being your accepted "payment due" to God for your LIFETIME of sinning and unbelief. 1. You are redeemed (ransomed from- delivered from) your Adamic Nature 2. You are redeemed (ransomed from-delivered from) Sin's power. 3. You are redeemed from (ransomed from-delivered from) The Curse of the Law. 4. You are redeemed (ransomed from-delivered from) The Devil. Now there are other things that are involved in your ransom that would be counted as part of your redemption : Becoming an Heir of God and a Joint Heir with Jesus......and also, health, prosperity, abundant life, prayer's answered, etc.
  2. Dear all, I am sharing a video where I have talked about the experiences and insights that I gained in Christian path. Have discussed some Bible verses and their interpretations too.
  3. Behold

    2nd Timothy 3:5

"having a form of godliness" So. what is this? What is this AS compared to being saved - born again? Its very simple.... a "form of godliness" is religion. All Religion. All Religion is a "form" of Godliness that isn't actually true Godliness. And what is the difference between Religion and Christianity? Well, Religion is man's self effort to touch God or become God. Whereas Christianity is God coming to Man, as a divine Man, to take man back home. Religion is man's self righteous effort to get in touch with God, and Christianity is God on a Cross touching humanity with the Blood of Jesus, the Righteousness of God, and the Love of God.. Its, "self righteousness", which is Religion. Look at that phrase..."self righteousness"......"self".."right'.......trying to make "self" "right" with God.......by SELF. (Legalism) By works, by lifestyle, by commandment keeping, and worrying about keeping the law to TRY to make "self" = "righteous". See it? All Religion is an effort to ither become Divine, or to join Divinity, by SELF RIGHTEOUS EFFORT... = trying to make "self" "right"......= Self-Righteousness. = Religion. And THAT.......all that is Religion, and it is what 2nd Timothy is defining as "a FORM of Godliness", that "denies the Power of God". So, what is the Power of God that imparts Godliness? It IS the only and sole means and method that causes you to become born again. This is being SAVED.... This is...God giving you HIS very Righteousness, which is the defining idea you are to comprehend so that you perfectly understand WHAT the Power of God is, exactly and in Truth. The power of God, is the ability of God to recreate you as a "new creation" "in Christ". So, this, once applied to you, is not a "form of Godliness", ... Its not self righteous effort .....Its not Religion, and its not something that you can do for yourself. Its something that God did for you on a Cross and then offers this Power, this Redemption, this BLOOD ATONEMENT, as a "free Gift", and when you by Faith trust in Christ, God then delivers the literal Power of God thru Christ that recreates you as born again and a "new Creation in Christ". To simplify...... "A form of Godliness" is Religion..... is Legalism....is trusting in SELF, instead of trusting totally in CHRIST to save you and keep you saved. Listen....if you are not trusting in Christ Alone to keep you saved, then you are not really trusting in Christ. Thats a fact. Real Godliness is Redemption. Real Godliness is God making you righteous and keeping you righteous, = through the Blood of Jesus. "A form of Godliness" is a person trying to be good enough, live holy enough, or reach high enough by self righteousness, as THEIR RELIGIOUS EFFORT to become one with God, and in doing this they are "denying the real power of God" which is......The Cross and God as Christ on it as total eternal Redemption offered as a free GIFT...= "the GIFT of Righteousness". . = (Grace).

  5. The Universe is Revelation from God There is a post here which discusses the Bible as the revelation of God. The Bible has very specific information about God Himself, and about that nature of man, and the problems created by the differences between the will of mankind (as individuals) and the will of God. Much of the Bible though, is limited as a revelation, because mankind has a limited ability to understand the Bible. Some things are spiritually understood, and are understood only by those who have God’s Spirit. In this sense then, the Bible is a revelation intended for the people of God. The universe is different. Though it lacks a lot of the specificity that the Bible has, it has a kind of revelation that is understood (or can be) understood by those with the ability to think, and the powers of observation. This topic, explores some of that. Rom 1:19-21 God reveals Himself through His creation, there is no excuse to reject God Acts 17:28 Paul acknowledged Greek poets and philosophers, knew there was a Creator Acts 14:17 God testified about Himself, as a provider to mankind Rom 2:4 God's kindness toward us, should lead us to repentance Rom 2:14-15 Our conscience, tells us there is right and wrong, we understand that Rom 1:32 People know not to sin, yet even encourage others to sin also This revelation is available to all, so we call this general revelation Rom 1:18-3:19 God's wrath and judgement await unrepentant sinners What scripture reveals beyond this general revelation, and this is very important, is that man is a sinner, sin separated man from God, and this separation is permanent unless God intervenes and provides a way of salvation from our sin and the effects of it. This we call special or specific revelation.
  6. Nowadays there are lots of people that call themselves Christian's. Yet they don't read the Bible or walk the path that Christ has set for them. Our actions define who we are. So why are Christians living two lives instead of the life they were called to live?
  7. Hi, everyone! I'm so delighted to be a part of this community. I can't wait to connect with all of you! Anyone in need of a good reminder of His love right now? I know I do.. My favorite verse from here is Job 34:19 – “He doesn't care how great a person may be, and he pays no more attention to the rich than to the poor. He made them all.” What's yours? 1. Ephesians 2:4-5 – “But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's grace that you have been saved!)” 2. Psalm 86:15 – “But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.” 3. John 3:16 – “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” 4. Romans 5:8 – “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” 5. Psalm 147:3 – “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” 6. Psalm 103:8 – “The LORD is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.” 7. 1 John 4:19 – “We love each other because he loved us first.” 8. Isaiah 53:5 – “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.” 9. Psalm 103:13 – “The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.” 10. Lamentations 3:22-23 – “The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” 11. 1 Peter 5:6-7 – “So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 12. 1 John 3:1 – “See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don't recognize that we are God's children because they don't know him.” 13. 1 John 4:10 – “This is real love--not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 14. Job 34:19 – “He doesn't care how great a person may be, and he pays no more attention to the rich than to the poor. He made them all.” 15. Zephaniah 3:17 – “For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs." ________________________________ www.girlandtheword.com
  8. Hi all! I am beginning a project that I hope will help people study this topic, with greater ease. On thing that would be very helpful to me, is to know which translations we prefer to use in study. I will then work on this project, around some of the most favored versions. I probably will not be doing much with the more obscure versions, but for now, could you choose from among those listed? Thanks in advance for your help. I know some of you will want to add comments. I am not promising that I will read them, if I read them, I may or may not respond to them. I do suggest however, that you try to refrain from debating Bible versions, or expressing why you believe your favorite is better than the other person's favorite. There are already threads on that at Worthy. My purpose here, is only to discover which of the above, people who study eschatology prefer, so I may prioritize the versions I support in my upcoming project. Again, thanks for the help.
  9. Jesus is the Holy Spirit. God is Jesus, "God was manifested in the Flesh" = Jesus 1 Timothy 3:16 "God is A Spirit" is the verse, vs some phony bibles that say "God is Spirit", .. so, check yours.....becasue "A" Spirit, is a specific TYPE....Its a HOLY One...."Holy Spirit". See, there is an UNHOLY Spirit, the spirit of "anti=Christ", and then there a "A" Spirit, (God is A Spirit), that designates for you the literal and clear distinction between Holy and unholy....so, if your bible says...."God is Spirit"< John 4:24 then get yourself a real bible that says.. "God is A Spirit". Very important. And also check and see if your bible says..."GOD was manifested in the Flesh" in 1 Timothy 3:26, as if it says, "He" instead of "God", then get rid of this bible, as its flawed, and not literally accurate. A flawed bible creates a flawed Christian. Thats a fact. The Holy Spirit is the "comforter" and Jesus is the "Prince of Peace". The Holy Spirit gives you comfort, and this is the "God kind". Jesus said, "My peace , (MY SPECIFIC TYPE OF PEACE), This is the Holy Spirit)... The peace I give is NOT as the (spirit of the world) gives,".. John 14: 27.... because Christ's peace IS the Holy Spirit, The Comforter... which is a heavenly peace. THIS Spirit, is God's, and it is the One that "fills you", and it is the one that "indwells you" only if you are born again, as this is the reason you are born again, and this is why the NT says that "if you don't have the Spirit of God, ( Holy Spirit indwelling you) then you are none of God's", you are not born again, and you are not saved. Romans 8:9 The Peace of God is not "happiness" , its a deep wellness in the soul. Its a comfort that is deeper then feelings. Its supernatural. This is the peace of God, Himself, that comes to live in a person the INSTANT they "Believe on the Lord and you SHALL BE SAVED",= right then.....and this is why many cry and cry when this happens, because this peace heals broken hearts. This peace heals wounded souls. This indwelling of the peace of God, which IS the Love of God, fills the emptiness, and this peace replaces addiction, lust, greed, envy, pride, hate, with self control.... and fills the human heart with contentment. AS ALL THIS is the indwelling fruit of the Holy Spirit. ( Jesus the Vine into us the Branches) Its the "God Effect" that comes to live inside a born again Person. Its the "Kingdom of God" that enters you as you enter INTO it. Colossians 1:13 = BORN AGAIN
  10. Gospel : Paul teaching = "preaching of the Cross". "we preach Christ Crucified"..."Jesus sent me not to baptize but to preach the Gospel".."faith comes by hearing this"..... So, all that, if believed by an unbeliever resolves an eternal issue...... What is the issue? What is God's purpose for coming to earth to die as Jesus The Christ on a Cross? What is He doing?...What is He alone solving, that all our 10 commandment keeping and holy lifestyle can never solve, which is WHY HE had to solve it? ? And right here is what is so often misunderstood, or not taught correctly, and this is why so many people who mean well, and love Jesus, or would like to love him, do not understand <>WHAT IS<> the actual reason that God came here to die. So what is that reason? The reason, is that keeping the law, the 10 commandments, and doing good works, confessing sin, and living as holy as we can, could not make us acceptable to God.. And here is the "catch 22".... It also can't AFTER you are saved. And right here is where "Legalism vs Grace" becomes the touchstone of constant fighting on forums, and everywhere else that it can show up where believers WILL clash. (Apparently this clash became such a long standing fight and fury on this forum that members here are barred from posting- fighting about it.) It is a fact and statement of the CROSS that the law and the 10 Commandments can't make you righteous, they can only show you that you are unrighteous., as that is the actual purpose of the Law, as well as outlining what God expects regarding our basic moral conduct & behavior, once we are born again. So, how can it be that half the body of Christ is trying to keep all this, all these works, and they believe that this is "keeping them saved". Whereas the other half of the body of Christ is trusting in Jesus to keep them saved. So, do you see the line in the sand? Its this " What is keeping you SAVED"....that is the minefield of theological confusion. THATS the fight. Legalism vs Grace. Its happening on every forum like this one, and its the reason for 5000 denominations that don't agree, and 300 bibles that don't agree. This issue started with Paul and his preaching of "justification by Faith" >alone, and he wrote the letter to the Galatians that talks about it, and explains it. 2000 yrs later, this issue of Legalism vs Grace is still a fist fight between "Christians". Here on this forum, apparently they outlawed the battle. Isn't it interesting to realize that if the 10 commandments, or lawkeeping, or living holy, could save you or keep you saved, if that were the truth, then Jesus could have stayed in Heaven and saved Himself some PAIN..... But ita not the case. Now im not certain what you have been taught, but i teach that you "present your body a living sacrifice" and you to "live holy as God is holy", not to save yourself or keep yourself saved, but because this is what you should do, and what God expects, .. because you ARE saved. The Legalist would argue that .."no, you do it to stay saved", and if you don't then you're not. I wonder, reader, what you believe. However, keep it to yourself, as this is between you and God, tho make sure you get it right, as if you get it wrong and you are teaching it, then Galatians 1:8 has become quite a literal issue for you. So, leaving all that now, lets just look at the problem that God had to come here and solve for us, as to look at this, is to understand the reason for Salvation which is to understand Salvation. Our problem we had, before we were saved, is only one thing, one issue only. And God Himself had to solve it, because we can't. We are born, and we get older, and we don't have any righteousness. None. And so, God can't accept us, because we are UNRIGHTEOUS. This is "lost", "unsaved"....hellbound = we don't have any RIGHTEOUSNESS< as all of ours, are "filthy rags". So, in steps SALVATION... Down from Heaven God as The Christ arrives... The Cross has been raised.... As God bleeding out on the "tree" has come down from Heaven to give us HIS righteousness so that He can accept us, based on THAT.......and for no other reason will He accept you, or me. God, literally became a man, and died on a Cross, to GIVE US "the righteousness of Christ". (God's very own righteousness). And that is what salvation actually is....Its God coming to earth to give us His righteousness so that HE can accept us, as by giving us His very righteousness, this makes us acceptable to God. Welcome to Salvation. Salvation is only.... "what makes you acceptable to God"....and that is one thing, its GOD'S Righteousness, becoming ours. A born again person, has literally BECOME "the righteousness of Christ", and Christ is GOD. To say that God's Grace is amazing, is really the least of what it is... How can you describe the wonder of God, dying to give you His righteousness in place of your unrighteousness, as a free Gift? Is there a word that can even claim to honor this spiritual transaction enough? Just one. LOVE. Agape` Love. God is LOVE.
  11. Lets define "legalism" as defined by Paul, as Webster is not using the NT as context. "Legalism" is Galatians 1:8 ""there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. [8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let them be accursed. """" Notice that Legalism, taught or preached, "perverts" the Gospel. It subverts the Blood Atonement. It actually attacks the Cross, by denying Jesus full credit do for saving you and keeping you saved. It offends God, and that is why he curses the person and the message. Legalism, is the teaching that "faith + works" is what saves you and keeps you saved. And this "gospel" is a perversion of the truth. Its actually a denial of the Lord's words..spoken from the Cross = "it is Finished"....meaning The Blood Atonement.....Salvation. Let me explain it more clearly.... This verse is referring to a person (Legalist) who is preaching a gospel that is a blend of Jesus, the Cross, and their Works. (commandment keeping, enduring to the end, holding onto their faith.....etc, etc, etc.) Legalism, a Legalist, will give lip service, = a false presentation of the Gospel. And the way they always do it, is by adding 10 commandment keeping, and lifestyle, as a PART of the Blood Atonement. In other words, the Legalist, who is usually not actually born again, but is very apt at speaking "christianese", and uses bible verses, and goes to different Christian fourms to annoy and create chaos......will always defend the LAW and 10 Commandments as "necessary" to be saved, instead of giving FULL CREDIT DUE, to the One who died on the Cross, who HIMSELF is Grace and Salvation. Here is how you spot a lying legalist on a Christian forum. Its so easy. THis is how they "sound". "Yes, i know that Christ is the savior......BUT". "yes, i know that Jesus saves......BUT" See that "but"? That is the sign of the Legalist. They can never EVER agree that Jesus and the Blood of Christ is all that God accepts to save you and keep you saved. They can't agree with this, because they do not believe it. A Legalist, will always, add WORKS, 10 commandments", TO THE CROSS, and then they will all add LIFESTYLE, as well.., as this is how they are "working out their own salvation". The gospel of the legalist, is "faith + works". The Gospel of God is "The Cross". See their problem? Its a BIG One. A legalist sounds like this when they teach or preach....>."""now we know that Jesus saves, but, you ALSO have to ..........1. 2. ....3. 4.. 40.....do all this"" See all that? THAT IS Galatians 1:8 THat is "cursed of GOD" theology and PERSON, because it is adding to the Cross, self righteous works, and this denies The Lord His full credit due, for Salvation. This offends God, who is Jesus on the Cross, and that is why there is a literal CURSE on anyone who teaches or preaches that ... "The Cross + Works, commandments, lifestyle" is the Gospel.....is Salvation. How do YOU discover if you have fallen from Grace, and you are become a legalist. ?? Very simple. You just answer this simple question. Q.) Do you believe that Jesus Christ keeps you saved? I didnt ask you if He saved you. I asked you if you believe that He KEEPS You saved? A Legalist is not being honest if they say yes, because a legalist believes that enduring to the end, keeping your faith, living a holy life, keeping the law and the 10 commandments, is what is keeping THEM saved., so that is why they preach this cursed of God gospel to others. So, be careful reader, as a legalist has deceived themselves, so, that is what they will also offer you. B
  12. I wanted to talk to you about your Salvation, which is your personal and private relationship with God. Maybe you are not enjoying it. Maybe its become a dead weight in your heart, that gives no joy, no life, and no hope. Many Christians are exactly like this. They have long ago trusted the Lord, they are born again, and yet, over time, what use to be LIFE in them is now a slow torture. Almost a misery. So, let me talk to you about this, and lets easily solve this so that you can once again know how it use to be when you were first saved, and life was BRAND NEW, and all you wanted to do was have more of God. Remember ? To get back THERE........is very easy to do. Its not a slow progression back. And in fact, i want you to see this picture in your mind.... Take a look... You see a path that is leading across a pretty field, and at the end of the path is a yard, and a small white cottage stands in the yard. Its in the early evening, not quite dark, its Springtime and there are candles burning in the windows. In all the windows, there are candles glowing a golden glow. The brown wooden front door is wide open, and standing on the porch, by the open door, all dressed in white is Jesus. Its Jesus. He is standing there. He is looking across the yard, and into the path. He is looking at you because you stopped just before you walked across the yard to Him. You can see His face. He is smiling gently at you. You notice that His arms are open as if to give you a warm hug. Then you see what you really didnt expect. You see that Jesus has tears in His Eyes. In His eyes are tears. These tears are for you. These are tears of longing, and hope, and joy, because He has wanted you to come home, and has been waiting, and waiting, and waiting.... And now you are there. So... Go to the Lord. Go Home. - - Ok, if you are away from the Lord for a while, there are generally only a few reasons. One, is that you have been sinning, and you feel so guilty and condemned in your heart. Two, is that you have some bitterness in your life. Maybe a divorce. Maybe someone you loved died. Maybe you are just very unhappy with your life. Its such a struggle. But what you are feeling is that you blame God. You blame Jesus. You are angry at them.. Three, Maybe a Christian has hurt you. Maybe a church has greatly disappointed you. Maybe both, and you are just not wanting to be a part of any of this, anymore. Now there are other things i can list, but, ive learned that most of us, when we are not close to the Lord, ... its because of those 3, so, no matter what your reason might be, ..being away from the Lord is the same empty feeling, its the same sense of no direction and no hope, yet its so very easy to solve this situation, whatever it is, that is keeping you away from God who loves you. So, How do you get back? Well this is very simple. You see that picture i gave you? You see that Jesus? He is there all the time, just like that. And yet what we do sometimes, is we dont see Him like this when we are not close to God and Christ. Instead we see our feelings, our disappointments...... we feel our guilty condemnation... and our bad feelings lead us to believe that God is upset with us, and in fact, He is not. God is Love, you see. And the only thing He will ever do or feel, towards His Child, which you are, is to feel Love towards you. God's only thoughts toward you, His Child, are good thoughts. God only and always wants the best for you. God is love, and that is all He ever has to give you. And this love, is expressed into your life and into your heart as His favor, blessing, peace, hope, power, self control, and Love. Now, i listed 3 reasons that might be the reason you are not as close to the Lord as you were once. And if you are reading this, it could be because you are someone who feels that God is so distant and you are so unworthy. And.... no matter the reason, or the reasons, and no matter how you feel...... God is always at the door, waiting for you. Jesus is never going to turn you away. He will never require you to do anything so that He would accept you or love you. God's love is REAL LOVE, because it is unconditional. You see, God loves you, because that is what He does....That is who He is.... And His Love's only requirement is that you Let Him Love You. And THAT, my brother or my sister,..... is how you return to God and Christ. You realize His Love and you allow It for yourself. You allow it for yourself.... And when you do, and as soon as you do, you will feel His presence, and you will know it. And no matter what you have done, or what you have felt, if you will just see Jesus, standing at the door, looking at you, ... then you can understand How God Loves YOU. Let God love you. Allow God to Love you...... He is still waiting...... always. <B><
  13. A mystery is something that has not been uncovered or revealed. The Trinity is really not a mystery, as this is a misapplied definition that someone once used who didn't understand it, or didnt want to believe it, and it has sort of hung around Christendom, seemingly forever. Now then......The Bible lays out the reality of God's existence, generally, as 3 distinct aspects, yet as One individual whole.... So, here we go.... Lets take a look : First......Think of yourself......are you a spirit , a soul, and a body?......... How many is that?......Well, you are Tri-part being. You are 3 in One. Have you ever noticed the sun in the sky? The Sun: is Heat, Light, and Actinic rays. (ultraviolet, etc). That is 3 parts of the same ONE..... So, is that a mystery? The reason most Christians think of these type things as mysteries, is because we live in the natural world, we exit in the natural realm, and so, what we don't see with our eyes, = "mystery". "seeing is believing". So, God is 3. But He is One. ... Like this : Christ said that He is "In the Father", John 10:30 Thomas kneeled before Christ and said...>"my Lord and my GOD",..... and Jesus didn't correct Him. John 20:28 Christ said......."touch me not, i have not yet ascended to my Father and yours"........ John 20:17 The reason the Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus is .....1.) Envy. 2.) Legalism: Religious Spirit, and because Jesus said......"Before Abraham was...... I AM"....and this is Jesus referring to Himself "pre incarnate", as in Genesis 1, when He was not yet "God manifested as a man, in the FLESH". John 8:58 1 Timothy 3:16 So, we see that Jesus is talking about Himself (referring to Himself as God), before He was later come down from heaven as " God manifested in the FLesh"....... John 8:58 and 1 Timothy 3:16 Ok then, i wrote a simple and quick "Trinity" study recently that i'll now post for you to use if you feel like studying all this, that im posting for yuo Here is the rest.... - 1.) John 1:10.. If you read it, you'll read that Jesus was in and literally placed His feet on the World HE created. 2. ) Colossians 1:6 says that through JESUS, and by Jesus, all things were created. 3.) 1 Timothy 3:16 says that "God" was manifested, (was made flesh and walked among us as a Man) "" 4. ) John 20:28 says that Thomas the Apostle, upon first seeing Jesus after He rose from the dead , said... "My Lord AND MY GOD".... JESUS is the "word made flesh". God made all that you see, by speaking words. "Let there BE...... light, nature, creation, all of it"....>"Let there BE" is like saying, let there BECOME..... God spoke it, and it (creation) appeared. Genesis 1. In the beginning was the Word and the Word (Jesus) was with God, and the Word (Jesus) was/is God. So, there you have Jesus as the Word before He was sent here to die, being worshipped as God after He was sent here. That is God the Father, and Jesus as the Word made flesh = 2 Then add the Holy Spirit, the comforter...... = 1 2 +1 = 3 Three are "One", as Jesus says. "I and my Father are ONE"..... yet, they are each, one of themselves. "Trinity".
  14. Someone who read this list elsewhere, suggested that I post this in my blog, so here it is: Things some people say (which the Bible DOES NOT) about the End Times Notice, that this list, does not establish any end times theory, it tries to prove nothing. It does not even attack a theory, or attempt to refute one. What it does attempt to do, is to get people to ask themselves, why they believe certain things, that the Bible never says. So basically, in between the lines I am asking: If we believe certain things that are not stated in the scripture, and claim that we believe them because that is what scripture teaches, aren't we in principle adding to the words of scripture? Furthermore, if we teach these things as though they are true, does that make us false teachers? So, what things do I claim the Bible does not teach? Following is a short list: 1. It does not say there will be a Rapture of the Church, which occurs before the Great Tribulation. 2. It does not refer to a 7 year period as the Great Tribulation. (See Matt 24:21 & Rev 7:14) 3. It does not say that the Holy Spirit is missing from the Earth at any time during the Great Tribulation. 4. It does not refer to the Great Tribulation, as the wrath of God. 5. It does not say that Jesus will return secretly or invisibly to take His Church. 6. It does not say that no man will ever know the time (the day or hour) of His coming. 7. It does not say that Jesus can return at any moment. 8. It does not say that Jesus will return like a thief in the night for His church. 9. It does not say that believers will not be in the great tribulation, or skip suffering and persecution, or even death. 10. The Bible does not say the Rapture is the Blessed Hope. (Titus 2:13) 11. The Bible does not say that Jesus will return as a thief in the night, in any context that necessitates a pre-tribulation return. 12. It is often said: The Rapture is Jesus coming for His church, the Second Coming is Jesus coming with His church. Those definitions may be workable, however the Bible does not say there is a multi-year interval between those events. 13. The Bible does not say, that there are 144,000 evangelists or witnesses, during the tribulation.
  15. I wanted to show you something, that might be a huge revelation to someone with a sincere heart, who has not realized an unfortunate fact regarding their own personal (Christian) belief system. Lets do the math. It works out like this...... What is your personal Savior ???? Let me show you a few worldwide favorites that wont work out, in the end.. ---------------------------- A person says......"we believe that salvation is the Cross, but that you can "fall away" and be lost. A.) The savior is always what YOU BELIEVE KEEPS YOU SAVED. So, in this case, the Savior to this person has become...>"not falling away". So, where did the Cross go? or, A person says.....>"he who endures to the end, the same shall be saved". A.) for this person, their Savior is "ENDURING to the end". So, where did the Cross go? or, A person says.....> "As long as you hold unto your FAITH, you are still saved". A.) for this person, holding unto their faith is their personal Savior. So, where did the Cross go? or, A person says....> "As long as i KEEP ON working out my salvation with fear and trembling, i stay saved. A.) this person is trusting in their lifestyle as their personal Savior. So, where did the Cross go? or, A person says...."As long as i dont apostatize or backslide, i stay saved. A.) This person is trusting in keeping themselves from apostatizing or backsliding as their personal Savior. So, where did the Cross go? Now see how that works? In all 5 cases the MATH seems good, but the end result is DEVOUT LEGALISM. This is Christ rejection pretending its the Faith that God accepts. Paul wrote the letter to the Galatians to expose it. The end result : is that all these types have "fallen from Grace". The end result : is that all these people have replaced the CROSS with what they are to DO, as their particular heretical method to try keep themselves saved.
  16. When Calvin wasn't trying to get more people burned at the Stake, he also created theologically backwards ideas like : YOU have no choice about your Salvation....God chose you, and that settles that. So, lets look at this one point of his 5 point "salvation theory" system.... and then compare it to the Grace of GOD, which is OSAS. Now, to believe this, you have to pretend that Free Will, is not in fact, real. And here is the thing.... God is JUST....which means, regarding heaven and hell, and people going there....He would not be JUST, if He denied you the freewill to end up in >either place<. Heaven is a choice. Hell is a choice.. A person, who is breathing, while still an unbeliever.. makes the choice to trust Christ or reject Christ, (Hebrews Ch 4 and 10, Unsaved Hebrews) and GOD accepts their choice now and in eternity, and they get to experience the fruit of their choice, just as soon as they DIE. A Person who ends up in Hell, chose to go there. A person who ends up in Heaven, chose to go there. Jesus is THE WAY.... John 14:6 And if you receive Him as the WAY, you go to heaven, and if you reject Him as the ONLY Way, you go to Hell, and then later, the Lake of Fire. And this is not a myth. Its a FACT and this is a situation that every person reading this and everyone in the entire world, living-breathing... or yet to be born, is going to have to face, unless they die as a baby or a very very young child. Think of it like this. Lets say, as some heretics teach, that God decides you are one of the unlucky ones who is born to go to hell. That God chose you, to go to hell. How can that be JUST ? How could that be right? How could it possibly be that...."God is Love", if He is choosing some for the lake fo fire, just because they were born, and they have no part in the decision. That's the theology of judging God as evil, and its theological insanity to do it, and to teach it... but it is taught and it is believed. There are actually people on this Forum, and on all Christian Forums, that have been taught that some people are born to go to hell, and that God chooses them to go. I know the scriptures they twist to try to prove this Satanic theology, and i won't be quoting them here. No worries. So that theology is demonic, but, what is worse is that this doctrine is absolutely creating the Idea of God, as way beyond the evil of Hitler...... and in fact, its painting God as black as the Devil's heart, but worse, Because, its people pretending they are CHRISTIANS who are vilifying God this way. So, a JUST God, would never behave like this, and in fact....... Father God is a completely Just God. GOD, the Father of Jesus, is so Just, that He allowed the killing of a Sinless Son, to allow for the recreation of the SINNER, into the SINLESS. This is how salvation actually works. God takes the sinlessness of Christ and exchanges it for our Sin, and we end up as righteous as Christ, and Jesus ends up as "became sin" on the Cross and DIES FOR OUR SIN. Reader, the Cross is a SWAP.....Its where God's righteous Son gives us His Righteousness, and He takes all our sin....our entire lifetime of it, and dies for it ALL. = Salvation. = OSAS. And being saved, works exactly the same...regarding God's Justice.. God does not choose some for Heaven, as that is actually the same as choosing some for hell. Its the same thing. That is not how "freewill", "justification by faith", and "Christ in you the hope of Glory". works. God is not going to tell you....in John 3:16 that he'll accept "whosoever", and in another verse. "ALL that believe on Jesus, shall be saved", or "as MANY as will believe"...... God is not going to offer Salvation to any and all, worldwide and universe deep, then choose some for Hell. Yet, there are preachers that preach this message, and their Church is full of people that shout "AMEN" when he speaks about God choosing some for the Lake of Fire. And some of these people, are on this Forum. Salvation is a Free gift. We dont earn it, and God does not force it on anyone, nor does He take it away after we are born again. A born again person, is IN CHRIST....and Christ "in you = hope of HEAVEN, (glory)"". So, when you are dead, you will end up wherever Christ is, and that wont be Hell or the Lake of Fire. The Born again are in Him and He is IN Us, """SEALED unto the day of redemption""", and so, we have to end up where Jesus ends up, as we are IN HIM......IN HIM.....IN HIM. We go where He goes, where He IS, after we die, or are Raptured. Final Answer, is...Salvation is not a temporary situation. This is why The one who SAVES, and KEEPS YOU SAVED, said from the Cross that .. Philippians 1:6. "IT (Salvation) is FINISHED". We dont finish it., we dont keep ourselves saved. Christ said "it is FINISHED"""< and when we are saved, born again, our salvation is FINISHED. Philippians 1:6 OSAS. So, once again, remember that OSAS, only means that Salvation is God saving you, through Faith, when you believe on Christ, and then you become born again, and this can never cease to be your ETERNAL reality, because God Himself has saved you with the Blood of Jesus, and this HOLY Blood's power to redeem, redeems you for all eternity. "IT IS FINISHED". = SALVATION. The Blood that was shed on the Cross is GOD's BLOOD, and that is why it has the Power to keep you saved, and not just start your salvation. That is OSAS. ITs that simple. And no one who simply believes and accepts by FAITH the finished work of JESUS ON the Cross, who would explain it as OSAS...... has ever taught or will ever teach, that because we are always kept saved by God's grace, (BLOOD OF JESUS).. then we can then sin all we like and enjoy it. And you hear this on Forums like this one....These liars lying about OSAS, using the term "license to sin".... Its a lie, (reader).... Reader.....don't believe it. You've noticed that in the last 10 days, i've just basically written a BOOK about Legalism and Legalist here on this Forum, within many Threads, and never have I or would i ever say or teach that ... because the Blood of Jesus saved you and keeps you saved...that you can go out and live in sin and enjoy it. Not quite. Paul said if you do this, and you won't stop, you will die. Romans 8:13 So that is the end result of living in sin, after you are saved. It'll finally cost you your earthly life, but before it does, it'll destroy your life, first. You'll lose everything except your Salvation, if you live in sin, after you are born again. You'll lose your witness, your money, your family, your friends, finally your health, and then you'll die. THATS the result of "living in sin" as a born again believer in Yeshua. But no... it won't cost you your Salvation, as you don't control that part. That part is controlled by the one who " FINISHED IT"< on the Cross, and has created a believer as born again. Born again, this status of a "New creation in Christ", a born again SPIRIT< living inside the corrupt body, is an eternal situation. Hyper-Religious - Self Righteous- Legalists...... flip out when they are told this, because they believe in themselves to stay saved by works...., and so, that is why they can't allow God the Savior to keep them saved if they are..... "bad". But that is exactly what He has already done. He has already taken your LIFETIME OF BAD, and sent Jesus to the Cross to pay for it all so that YOU don't have to pay for it, in ETERNITY. = Salvation. = Grace. = OSAS What actually happens to a Legalist, who is saved .... who USE TO BE a Legalist, but has seen the Light of the Cross and now trusts in Christ alone to keep them saved......This person is freed from the impossible burden of trying to keep themselves saved, and they find that this frees them to actually live a more holy life then they were trying to live as a legalist. As now they are committing to their "be holy as God is holy" lifestyle that God EXPECTS, = = EMPOWERED by God's GRACE, instead of by their FLESH. Flesh fails, Grace doesn't. A Legalist, who has come to see the Light of Grace in the Face of Jesus, = the finished blood atonement, finds that living for the Lord becomes empowered by Grace, which allows you more self control then they ever had when they were trying to work to stay saved, and were always failing and confessing, failing and confessing............ always feeling condemned, always feeling guilty.........>. Grace, OSAS,..... once you come to realize this truth that God who saved you, will KEEP YOU SAVED, HIMSELF. Philippians 1:6. .....then (Grace understood) will empower you to live the Holy Life. That's the effect of the Grace of God, as its the Power of Christ's Blood having this empowering effect on you, simply because you understand it properly. Understand....."revelation" "seeing the Light" is not just comprehension of theological data, but it is in fact, LIFE POWER from GOD which empowers you to be what God wants you to be. "God's Grace" OSAS.
  17. Behold

    John 3:16 = OSAS

John 3:16, the most universally "known" bible verse ever created...(probably), actually teaches OSAS, and is in fact OSAS. They are the same. God's Grace is OSAS John 3:16 is OSAS Let me show you. Lets study this together. So....once again, let me define OSAS, so that you understand it properly, as there are many liars let loose in the world who have created a false misunderstanding about this term, and so, you need to know what it really means. The Truth. Here is what it really means... OSAS really means... What saved you.......keeps you saved. We are KEPT saved by What saved Us. = We are saved by JESUS, and we are Kept saved by Jesus. Philippians 1:6 Hebrews 12:2 OSAS means, that the Blood of Jesus, that saved us, keeps us saved. Thats it. Thats what it means. And here is John 3:16 that explains it as i have just defined it. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world......that HE GAVE His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVES IN JESUS, would not PERISH, but HAS eternal-everylasting life." This verse is one of the ways the NT defines OSAS, and there are many many others. So, lets look at this scripture, in LIGHT of OSAS that means....>"we are saved by Jesus and we are KEPT SAVED by Jesus. = OSAS Now, im going to drill down into this verse a little bit for you, so that you can get the wide perspective of it, in case you are a preacher, teacher, .... or maybe you want to do a Sunday School lesson on this verse, at some point. Therefore, (as always) i'll rightly divide it for you, using in context NT verses that support it. John 3:16........."For God so love the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son. So, how did God give Him?.......God gave Jesus THE Christ, to the WORLD, as a virgin born male, who is the "2nd Adam" who does not literally have an earthly father, which means Jesus is not born with a fallen Adamic (sin nature). Jesus's spiritual nature, is God, because Jesus is God. So then.. He lives a sinless life, and goes to the Cross and dies there..... bearing our Sin. (God so Love the world) the verse says and this is why and to whom Jesus was sacrified ...... And once this is accomplished...(Cross = Salvation), then Jesus says from the Cross...>"it is finished". And that is correct. Salvation, The Blood Atonement is now a completed OFFERING, to the WORLD, to all who would come.... Its a finished Salvation that is waiting to be given for free, ALL THE TIME, EVERYDAY, to anyone who will by FAITH "believe on the name of Jesus, and you shall be SAVED". Then.....and here comes OSAS.. you read in the verse that the born again who have obeyed this verse, (BELIEVED) will never "PERISH".....so, that is explained in John 10:28 were Jesus says you will never "perish", (can't go to hell, can't be damned)(eternal security)... and the born again are also GIVEN .. (you dont earn it) "Eternal Life". Listen Saint... Eternal life IS not a time frame.. ok? This phrase does not mean..."infinity and forever"..but rather, this is the POWER OF JESUS created concept that refers to living with Him and God, in the family of God, as the Body Of Christ, in ETERNITY. "Eternal life", is Jesus Himself, who IS the "resurrection and the LIFE"..... See that "life"...... THAT is eternal Life.......and here it is again...... John 14:6... Jesus saying....."i am The Way, The Truth, and THE LIFE"......and there it is again. Jesus is talking not about a time frame, but He is talking about HIMSELF< who IS Eternal Life... John 11:25 .. So,= this is OSAS......the fact that if you have Jesus..."Christ in you", and you are "in Christ", then because JESUS IS ETERNAL LIFE< then you have it right now, because you have HIM right now, and He has YOU right now = OSAS. Your Eternal Life, does not start after you are DEAD...... You have it NOW. You, the born again, are translated from darkness to Light.....right now. Jesus is the Light of the World and you are Children of the Light.....right NOW. Or as John says in 1 John 5:13 "i write these words so that you will KNOW". Know what? What does John want you to KNOW? ? ? That if you have BELIEVED on CHRIST, then you have ETERNAL LIFE. HAVE IT.........not waiting for it....but HAVE IT, = right now. So, see how ALL that fits like a glove with John 3:16 ? This is the interesting thing about OSAS.....This understanding, is all over the NT. The NT is filled with verses that speak about how Jesus saves you and keeps you saved. Paul will tell you. John just told you, and in fact the entire NT is the Blood of Jesus being written to you as a revelation of God, and how He saved you using a Cross and KEEPS YOU Saved with the Blood of Christ that was shed for you. = OSAS. blessings, <dw><
  18. I hope everyone had a blessed Easter. Jesus is risen, and isn't this Good News. We might add to our prayer time a prayer for those who were injured in Sri Lanka, and of course for their families. -------------------------------------- So, i wanted to ask you... Have any of you ever heard of OSAS? This concept is an interesting outcome of salvation, and a prime result of Grace. Its a "man made" idea, and similar to the word "Trinity", its not found in any Greek Text, or in any Translation of Scripture that make up any New Testament, extant. Now, about "Grace". I like this word "Grace", as this word describes the nature of God, and gives us an understanding of what the Love of God is like. His love is Grace. I guess we could say that a combination of words like (charity, compassion, mercy, hope, goodness, forgiveness), and similar could barely try to help us understand God and His nature of Grace, because its Salvation that really spotlights, "Grace", as this is God giving the life of His Son, for the undeserving, and in this we see......Grace.......The Grace of God. If we consider that Jesus is the heart of God, and when we have seen Jesus, we have seen the Father, then Grace also accurately describes ......Jesus. Jesus, literally IS Grace. This could be explained or demonstrated by the idea that God Himself, wrapped in human flesh, born of a virgin, was "manifested as a man, as a Savior, to take away the sin of the world"......and He did. Jesus bore the sin of the world, but the application of this Grace, is not executed into/unto a person, unless they meet the one requirement that God requires for Him to give to you the "Righteousness of Christ:....and your FAITH, is the one "work" that God requires for you to receive the imputed Righteousness of HIMSELF. No other work will He accept from you, to save you, and recreate you as "born again" for eternity. The Blood Atonement is Grace.......and Salvation is a product of God's Grace. The Cross, the blood of Jesus, the resurrection, these are all examples of Grace as a literal reality, regarding how the Love of God is expressed towards all of His creation, as perfect love and mercy and hope. Another truth and perfect way to express Grace/Salvation, in the Christian context, would be......OSAS. So, what is this, exactly? As there are many deceits written about it in books, and pamphlets, and on forums like this one, and many denominations are probably originally birthed as some type of resistance to the very idea of what they think it means. What i can tell you, is that the KJV and the idea/subject of OSAS, get insulted more by Christians, then any of the cults you find, such as JW's, and Mormons, and others. Yes, the KJV and OSAS, endure more mean spirited carnal ridicule, by people who say they are born again, then any true false religious cult, or all of them, combined. And this is fascinating, as the reality is, most, maybe 90 % of the people who have such hatred in their heart for both the KJV and idea of OSAS, actually have a very skewed and misinformed understanding of both.........and its to this point, i'll write a brief bit of clarification, regarding only one......OSAS. So what is it?......What is OSAS?......... well, simply put its God's Grace. Thats what it is. First, its an understanding that you are born again only once, and that you can't be "unborn again". Just as you can't go back into your mother's womb, you also can't stop being 'in Christ". You can't be "unborn" as a heavenly Son of God, just like you can't be unborn from the Mother who birthed you into this earthly existence. Born is Born.....done is done........"It is finished", once it is applied to you..(Blood Atonement). So, OSAS, is an understanding-comprehension of Salvation and of the Blood Atonement, that realizes that the mercy of God that saved you, is the same mercy that keeps you saved. Its the SAME. = He who saved you, will keep you saved., and you have no part in this...none. Its an understanding that the Law that once judged you as a sinner, has been abolished by the Cross, and thereby has no more power or authority to judge you ever again. This is why the scripture says that "Grace came by Jesus", and we are "Under Grace" now, and no longer under (being judged by) the Law. Romans 4:8. ""Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.""... = This is every born again believer. study it. And this means that God judged Himself on a Cross, as guilty for our sin, and this judgment will never fall again on a born again Son of God in Eternity/Heaven, as it already fell on Jesus The Christ, on earth. If you, the reader, are not saved, if you are not born again, and you die, you will meet God as your Judge, and you can realize what happened to Jesus on a Cross, to honestly evaluate what you are up-against, for eternity, if you die as a Christ Rejector. But if you are born again, then you will never meet God as Judge in heaven, as Christ has already met the Judge for you, on earth. You will only meet your God as your Father, ......IF you are born again. Then there is this part. A person who realizes that OSAS, is just giving God full credit for saving them and keeping them saved, also understands that they are to "be ye holy, as God is holy"...>"present your body a living sacrifice"..... everyday, every minute... without FAIL. See... OSAS, is not a "license to sin", as it is portrayed by liars and similar.....not at all. OSAS, is simply the understanding of "born again"....which gives GOD and Christ full credit, for Salvation...for saving us and keeping us saved. A person who understands that God saves once, and that "born again" happens once, and "God is the author and finisher of our faith, and that the God who started Salvation in us, is faithful to complete it".....OSAS =believes this truth, and does not try to add their self effort (works) in place OF this truth.... that God alone saves you and keeps you saved. Philippians 1:6 : "" Being confident of this very thing, that God who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" Hebrews 12:2 : "" Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith"" OSAS, defined....= simply gives God full credit for Salvation......the beginning of it, and the ending of it. Thats it. Simple. And finally, a person who understands that Grace, is OSAS...(they are the same), that Salvation itself is explained perfectly by OSAS.....WE understand also a very important understanding. And this is where the problem starts for legalists, as its this one misunderstanding, that if they could come to understand this one theological fact, and grasp it, they could come to see the Light, that Grace is actually OSAS. Here is their issue.......... A Legalist, or someone who hates OSAS, does not understand that our Christian Discipleship, is something we do because we ARE saved, and never something we do to try to save ourselves or keep ourselves saved. In other words....Salvation, is all of God, applied to us...and then, ONCE WE HAVE IT.... we try to live a lifestyle (Discipleship) that reflects what we have become, that is caused and kept ONLY by God and the Blood of Jesus. The legalist, has the idea that God started salvation, and they finish it by their lifestyle, and if they get this wrong, or don't do enough, then, God will remove them from the Book of Life, and Jesus will find a way out of their body, and take the Holy Spirit with Him. Which of course, is impossible, but that is what would have to happen, if you could "lose it".(lose your salvation). And so, OSAS, understands that this is not possible. Its not possible for Jesus to exit you once He is living IN YOU and you are "in Christ"..= "unborn again". However the legalist will insist that this can happen if you dont continue in a lifestyle that they feel QUALIFIES you to stay saved and inherit heaven by works, ONLY if you continue..... So, one thing to add... and for you to consider. Every work, you can do for God... commandment keeping, confessing sins, missionary work, joining a church, living a holy lifestyle.... Listen, all of these DEEDS, can be done, even if Jesus never hung as God on a Cross. Now think about that... In other words, all that a legalist is doing to "stay saved".. all of it, can be done by ANYONE, and Jesus never had to come down here as God and die, if any of this could save you. So, a question for you legalist....= Would any of those works you are doing that you can do, before the Cross was given, or after.......If there was NO CROSS, would any of your works, works, works, save you? NO !! Then why would you believe that if none of those can save you, and only Jesus Saves, .. would you believe that what won't save you without the Blood Atonement, the CROSS......why would you think any of these works, if not done after you are SAVED, that this could cause you not to be saved? This type Legalist mentality, is not only missing truth, its missing Logic. So, a legalist believes that what can't save them...is able to take away their salvation, if they dont do the LIST of works, whatever that is, (till they die) as its a different list for each legalist. > Wild. So, the OSAS person, understands that all that legalism junk, is not something they will ever be found dead worrying about, because they understand that the God who saves us, keeps us saved, and that is OSAS.......thats what it means. It means to give full credit to God and Christ for Salvation....Both saving us and keeping us saved, as this is GRACE, and GRACE is OSAS. Philippians 1:6 : "" Being confident of this very thing, that God who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" Hebrews 12:2 : "" Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith""
  19. Maybe someone reading this is not so happy, and needs a hug. So, If i might give you some thoughts that could possibly be a new set of "new eyes" for you. First, life is hard. Its difficult. Life tends to be a test that just keeps on testing, and it can be so tiring. At one point the Apostle Paul was just sick of it all, and wanted to go and be with Jesus and the Father and the Saints and the Host of Heaven, but He decided to stay here instead as He knew it was "More needful"..really mattered that He stayed, as the "Church" was still brand new and needed Him so much. But Paul was tired of "life".....the grind...and so, also there is this fact.. "Jesus is touched with the feelings of our sad feelings". He lived here as a Man, God became ONE OF US.....and so He understands exactly how it feels to be in this world and in this Life. Your NT says something that you'll probably never hear a preacher preach, but i'll tell you. It says that "Jesus learned obedience by the things He SUFFERED"... down here. And that is Jesus the MAN, being on this earth, dealing with LIFE< just like we do, and that is why He is so filled with compassion for us always......that he understands exactly what makes us feel, what we feel. I live in Israel, and i live sometimes in the States, and ive walked where The Lord has walked, and its HOT in the SUMMER where He always had to walk, where he LEARNED all about TIRED and Thirsty. Jesus is touched with the feelings we feel, my brothers and my sisters. Jesus KNOWS your NAME. God KNOWS your NAME. Everything we feel,......= God, as Christ has also felt, yet without sinning. And because God is touched by our grief and our pain and our frustrations......we should come to understand that He understands us perfectly when we pray, and He is able to give us comfort where we need it the most. God gives us grace for LIFE...for these TESTS....regarding the fact that Life is a test. So, = When you need more Grace, when you need more help from God, then lean on Him more. Spend more time with Him,.... as His Grace that is His power to lift you up and out of tests and trouble, is more generous and readily available when you spend more time with Him. Really. You've heard this...>"god helps those who helps themselves"...? well, thats not really exactly how it works., tho it is true that we function within the natural and God functions within and outside the Natural Realm. It is true that we do all we can, then God takes it from there. Yes, thats true... Its true that God rewards effort, but its also true that end results we leave to GOD. So, when you want more Help, you give God more of you. When you need more help, then give God more of yourself. When you give Him all of you.......ahhh, there is the final answer, isn't it? Works every time. So its more true to say..>"God helps those who need more help from Him". Thats actually how Christianity works, for our benefit. When we are WEAK, then God is Strong in us, for us, and through us. When we get down on our knees, then God LIFTS US UP. God makes something out of nothing, and the reality is, as compared to God, we are all quite nothing ....... And , ....everyone has seasons in their life that are not what we would choose, and we are stuck in them. Take heart, because, everything changes. Life IS Change...and whatever you are feeling that is making you unhappy.....It will change also, so be ready for the next.....as Life is always..the next and the next change, and for the Believer, we have God with us because He is IN US. So, no matter what, He will always work out whatever is going wrong, and recreate this for us, as a benefit. Every season of time we are going through , if bad, then God will make it a benefit for us....and if Good, then God will make it a benefit for us. All in time. God is really good at everything He created, and He created it all. 3 specific things He really does well are : 1.) Redeem the lost for eternity with the Blood of His Son. 2.) Change hard circumstances in our personal lives that we need Him to RESOLVE so that we can have peace again, and hope again, and LIFE again. 3.) Making our dreams a reality. He is really good at all of these, Saint Your bible teaches that God "thinks on you"....This means He literally thinks about all of His Children. US. And you know this must be true... we know it is, because this is our Heavenly Father, who Gave His Son for us. We matter to Him....that much. And let me tell you......there is no love like His that you can find down here, as this is God loving you, and its not like what we find with our family, friends, wife, husband, children, pets. its better, its bigger, its wider, its deeper, its more fulfilling, and its eternal. God's love is truly unaffected by our behavior, and is always unconditional. God is Love. Also, we are all in it together, all stuck down here, as Believers, waiting for something good that is soon coming. What is coming is JESUS and us leaving this place with HIM. And we are all going to leave it, if we are born again. But the BEST News is, what is on the other side is not like this place. Its going to be SO GOOD., and it will NEVER EVER END. Finally, Let me ask you a question. Whatever it is that is keeping you from being as happy today as you want to be.. that seems so important to you today..... Well, in 1,000,000 ...On Million Years from now, you will be alive, and you will be with God and Christ and me, and all the born again believers here,.... and so...A million years from now, as you are enjoying God and all He has for us that we are waiting for....A million years from now, do you think you will care THEN about what it is that you are caring about now?.....Will it matter to you then? Will it matter to you.......then ? Thats something to consider, anytime you find the cares of this life are causing you some pain.
  20. The reality is........The Blood of Christ has already cleansed our Sin.....all of it.....>Tomorrow's included. "Where SIN abounds...Grace moreso Abounds".... = means....when you sin, after you are saved, the Blood Atonement has already paid for that one ALSO.... It means that when you sin a year from now, on a Monday morning, just before you come here to argue about OSAS, and you sin....THE CROSS has already taken care of that one also. Realize the revelation that something that happened 2000 years ago on a CROSS, is still your Salvation 20 yrs from NOW ! If a Legalist could actually comprehend that you can't out-sin the BLOOD of CHRIST, that this blood, has actively and permanently SOLVED your "sin" issue, then what a happy Christian they would be, as then they could actually Trust Christ, totally., and not just partly, and then they have to work the rest of their way into heaven. This is why Jesus died for you. Its what He's doing on the Cross. He is Paying for (cleansing) our sin, from us, by dying FOR IT ALL. Amazing how many people who claim to be Christians can't even begin to comprehend SALVATION. Legalists don't understand that the CROSS is a completed work (Blood Atonement), so, they reach into the bible with eyes closed, and never care to learn or realize that not every verse is aimed at a born again believer. Now, for those of you who have not been taught anything about your NT, or your bible in general..... Scriptures in the NT, and OT< are sometimes literal, sometimes symbolic, and sometimes allegorical....in meaning. For example, "all who call on the name of Jesus, shall be SAVED"...is literal. But, "take this cup, as its the blood of the New Covenant"...... this can't be LITERAL, as Jesus's blood is still in HIS BODY, when He's drinking the cup. See it? ? A legalist does not understand that "where there is no law, there is no transgression".....as "Christ has ABOLISHED THE LAW"..... is in the NT, reader. Ephesians 2:15 A legalist, reads Romans 4:8, where they are told that God does not hold them accountable, for sin...(impute)....... and they just ignore this and run back to Hebrews, a book-letter not written to the CHURCH, but to UNSAVED JEWS...... and then they get lost in it. And why LEGALIST,..... does God not hold you accountable, in Eternity, for your sin that you do tomorrow and next week? A.) Because God already held Jesus accountable on the CROSS for them ALL. Understand? as this is so so important for you to understand. A Legalist will take a verse out of Matthew, given before Jesus was on the Cross, that is not NT doctrine for the Blood Bought Redeemed Church, and use this verse out of context to prove to themselves they can "lose it".(Their Salvation) A Legalist thinks they are in Christ, then fall out of Christ when they sin, and if they confess = do penance or whatever other deeds they can come up with, they get back INTO Christ. However, Christ has contradicted you, as He said "I will never leave you or forsake you"...so, "Christ in you, the hope of Glory", is a fact, that you need to start believing. A Legalist actually believes they are saved untill they sin, then confess, and are saved again, ... as if Salvation is a type of Yo-Yo, of sinning confessing, sinning confessing, sinning confessing.....up down, up down.,... kinda crazy, isn't it? And all of this confusion and chaos is not only the misunderstanding the Blood Atonement, its also not giving FULL Credit DUE to the finished work of Jesus on the Cross.... and that is the REAL issue, for the Legalist.
  21. Legalism, is Galatians 1:8. Its very specific, and here is how you should understand it. Its when a person's belief system regarding Salvation, is that "Justification by Faith, ALONE", means to them, that they must add their self righteous works TO IT.....to complete it. Legalism means, that a person believes that Salvation is the Cross + Their Christian Discipleship (Their Works)....... In other words, they pretend that The Blood Atonement is God's Salvation, but what they really believer and argue about and teach, is that the Blood Atonement, is only a part of Redemption, and their WORKS, and yours, COMBINED< is what God accepts to save you, and keep you saved. Legalism is the heresy that teaches that The Blood of Christ + Works, is Redemption. = Galatians 1:8 Legalism is pretzel logic, that tries to corrupt the words of James, in an effort to subvert the doctrine of "Justification by Faith", that Jesus gave to Paul, personally. Now, what is the NT idea - explanation, regarding "self righteous"?? Its that a person is trying, by their works, deeds, effort, and enduring, to make themselves right with God, either before they are born again, or they are trying to maintain their Salvation, by their works, deeds, effort, and enduring, AFTER they are already saved. So, what you need to understand, is that a.... Works + The Cross = Salvation theology, .....Legalism......is actually trodding underfoot the Holy Blood of Christ, because this person, this theology, is actually teaching that Christ's Blood is not quite enough, and that "works" are needed to finish the Atonement. Legalism, disrespects and insults The Holy Spirit and The Blood of Christ, by teaching that a person's works are in some way of equal value, and need to be combined with God's Blood shed on a Cross for Salvation to be completed in a person's life. = Galatians 1:8
  22. Many times in the past, I have tried to read the Bible, but I have always struggled with poor concentration and barely managed to read a few sentences at a time, and with little ability to comprehend their true meaning. I would often give up and just void reading the Bible completely. I prayed and asked the Lord to help me really immerse myself in the Bible, and immediately I was able to start reading larger sections and I am now able to understand and meditate on the meaning and context. On top of that, He has shown me the true joy of reading the Bible. It no longer feels like a chore, it feels like something I want to do, and that I enjoy doing. I am truly grateful - thank you, Lord!
  23. It has occurred to me that some individuals using the club and following the links on the daily reading pages to go to read the passages online, are confronted with the question of which Bible version they should use. I have created a webpage that can help one make that decision, if one has not yet done so. The page is not super-informative, but it does offer some basic information to get one started. There are version abbreviations, reading grade level, type of translation, some notes on what the textural basis of the versions are, and links to get one further information if desired. There will be information there also, explaining some of the terminology used in the page as well, but for now, the page is incomplete, to be completed shortly. The grade level rating, is not there to suggest that you choose your grade level, but is a guideline that indicated a level of reading ease or difficulty. Those who have difficulty understanding some version or for whom English is a second language, may want to choose a version which is a lower grade lever, and thus easier to read.
  24. I would not be surprized if this video is not already in here, but I figured it was faster to make a new post, that to find one here. I wanted to be able to make reference to this in another thread, so here it is:
