  1. Deuteronomy 30:19 - "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live." Some people seem to enjoy being the victim. No matter what failure or disappointment they have experienced in life, they have convinced themselves that someone or something is to blame This lie is old as Adam. He blamed Eve and she blamed the devil when they messed up in the Garden of Eden. However, each one of them had a choice to obey or disobey God's Word. Instead of using their God-given dominion and subduing that lying devil, they chose to do what he suggested. Actually, they chose death. Affirmations: I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE LIFE I AM LIVING IS THE RESULT OF CHOICES THAT I HAVE MADE THROUGHOUT MY LIFE. EVERY VICTORY IS REALLY UP TO ME, NOT OTHER PEOPLE, EVENTS OR CIRCUMSTANCES. WHEN HATE IS HURLED TOWARD ME, I CHOSE TO FORGIVE AND WALK IN LOVE. I SEE THE IMPOSSIBLE COME TO PASS IN MY LIFE. Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably (exceeding abundantly) more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us." "The power" working within you is the mighty power of God's Spirit who lives inside you, enabling you to fulfill the vision He has given you. God's power is actually working within you for the fulfillment of your dream. As long as we believe that we receive only what we ask for we are limiting the power of God in our life. Affirmations: HE WILL DO "EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY" BEYOND ALL THAT I CAN ASK FOR, THINK ABOUT, OR IMAGINE. MY IMAGINATION IS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR ALL THAT HE WANTS TO DO FOR ME. Hebrews 3:14,15 - "For we are become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end; while it is said, Today, if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts.." When we truly become partakers of Christ, we are known, even now and to all eternity, as one with Christ on the throne of glory. Our perseverance in seeking His PURPOSE for our life will be the seal of our being a partaker of Christ. The faith by which, at conversion, we know at once that we have Christ -- HisCALLING on our life growing clearer and brighter and more mightily effectual in opening up the treasures of Christ, as we hold it fast firm unto the end. Persevering faith is the witness that we have Christ, because through it Christ exercises His keeping and perfecting power. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: How did Christ become a partaker of our nature? Answer: He left His own state of life, forsook all, and entered into our state of life. How do I become a partaker of Christ? Answer: By coming out from my state of life, forsaking all, giving myself wholly to be possessed of Him living His PURPOSE for my life. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. "I am the true Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit." (John 15:1-2 NASB) We are anointed to transform our area of influence for the advancement of the Kingdom and to bring glory to God. God anoints us to fulfill the plans and CALLING He has for us. The anointing allows you to move into a supernatural walk with God. The Lord is filling people with His Spirit and increasing the anointing on the lives of people so they may powerfully impact their area of influence for Him. This is a time of transformation for those who surrender to the Lord and submit to the pruning and refining that the Lord is doing at this time. There is a repositioning and realigning that is occurring as part of the preparation for what is coming. The Lord is removing hindrances and refreshing His people. He is filling them with the power of His Spirit and raising them up to carry His PURPOSE for their lives. AFFIRMATIONS: I am not designed to drift - I am designed for DESTINY. God has called me with a holy calling, not according to my works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to me in Christ Jesus before the world began. Since I am in Christ I am in another reality and another life altogether. Luke 9:23 - "And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” When Jesus called His disciples, it was for total commitment. They had to be willing to leave everything to follow Him, and so do we. If He is not the Lord of all, then He is not our Lord at all. All Christians are called to be "soldiers of the Cross". All soldiers know that they can be called upon to pay the ultimate price for their cause. For this reason, the soldiers of the Cross are called to take up their crosses and commit to die daily to their own interests in order to serve the interests of Christ. In order to hear His voice, you must release all your worries into His care. Entrust to Him everything that concerns you. This clears the way for you to seek His Face unhindered. Let Him free you from fear that is hiding deep inside you. Sit quietly in His Presence, allowing His Light to soak into you and drive out any darkness lodged within you. Accept each day just as it comes to you, remembering that He is watching over your life. Rejoice in this day that He has made, trusting that He is abundantly present in it. Instead of regretting or resenting the way things are, praise Him in all circumstances. Trust Him and don’t be fearful; thank Him and rest in His freedom. "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:6–7 "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." - Psalm 118:24 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. One of the dimensions of living the way of Christ, besides living a life of love, forgiveness, and service is embracing the spirituality of DOWNWARD MOBILITY. This is a willingness to modify our career, change our location, or whatever other sacrifices we are called to make, for the sake of following Christ's purpose for our life (our destiny). Jesus came so that His Blood may cover our sins. His grace and mercy overflow to us so that we may be all that He has created us to be. He is determined to help us find our destiny into His perfect plan for us. His grace has made it possible for us to see our destinies fulfilled. SEIZING OUR DESTINY Nothing takes the place of stepping out of your comfort zone and out on the limb. Faith is always spelled R-I-S-K! In order to seize your destiny -- step out, God's not only good, He will catch you if you fall and help you to get up and try again! Don’t worry about the people in your past, for the Lord placed them there. He has an important reason why they won’t appear in your future. "Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14 Are we willing to spend and be spent; not seeking to be ministered unto, but to minister? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Your teenager needs to hear father pray. He needs to hear mother pray for him and for herself. He needs to know that his parents trust him to God. We must go on to maturity. We must set our vision on the PURPOSE (our DESTINY for which we have been made a new creation. "For all the promises of God in Christ are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." - 2 Corinthians 1:20 There is a union between Christ and the Christian that is so deep, so pure, so sweet, so real, that the very conditions of the human spirit are transmitted to His, and the conditions of Christ's spirit are transmitted to ours. PRAYER: Father, in the name of Jesus I ask You to strengthen me through Your love and wisdom. Lord Jesus, this day I choose to deny myself, take up my cross and follow You. I will fulfill my destiny through the inner strength of Your might and power. In Jesus' name, Amen. AFFIRMATIONS: Jesus is my Great High Priest, and He is interceding for me right now. I boldly confess that I am fear-free and that anxiety has no place in me! Like Abraham I stagger not at the promises of God through unbelief; but am strong in faith giving glory to God! I am no accident going somewhere to happen. My life isn't just a loose web of events and circumstances. God has specific plans for me. Romans 5:3,4 - "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope." Jesus did not come to deliver us from our problems but from ourselves. He did not come to change our circumstances - He came to change us. Hebrews 12:2, "We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith's perfection." The Lord calls each one and is beckoning us to come into His presence. As our eyes are transfixed on His eyes our vision changes and we are seeing through the eyes of Jesus. We are given strategies for breakthrough; and we are given revelation on direction we should take or information we would need for the new season ahead. Some are given a scene of encouragement and comfort as they looked through the eyes of Jesus. These Believers are walking through difficult times, but as they fixed their eyes on Jesus their vision is filled with peace, comfort, and hope. Romans 15:13, "Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in Him." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. "There were many bones in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And the Lord said unto me, 'prophesy upon these bones and say unto them, Behold I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.'" - Ezekiel 37: 2,4,5 Look at those things over which you have lost your vision. Ask Him to bring resurrection life back into those dead places and renew your vision for your own CALLING IN CHRIST. We are invited to receive the Spirit, live in the Spirit, embrace the gifts of the Spirit, and be sustained and blown along by the very breath of God to advance our DESTINY in the Spirit. We cannot be in and out, this way and that way if we're going to move and operate and ascend into the incredible levels that God wants to release in us. How will your life change as you become more extreme with your faith? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Romans 4:17 -- ....."God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did." Sometimes we feel pain from sickness. How can we go around saying the Christ has redeemed us from this sickness? How can we say that by His stripes we are healed? God's way is to call those things that are not as though they are. And because we are made in God's image, we can also call those things that are not as though they are! When God wanted to make Abraham a father of many nations, what did He do? HE CHANGED THE WAY ABRAHAM TALKED. At that time, Abraham did not even have a single child from his wife, Sarah, because she was barren. So how could he become a father of many nations? God changed the way he talked, How? By changing his name from Abram to Abraham, which means "father of many nations." Every time he said his name he called forth what God saw him already blessed with. When Jesus saw the man with a withered hand, He didn't say, "My goodness! It is so withered!" He said, "Stretch out your hand! (Matthew 12:13). He CALLED FORTH what he wanted. He looked at the paralytic and said, "Rise, take up your bed and go home!" (Matthew 9:6). He didn't see it the way it was in the natural. He saw the way God meant it to be and He called it forth. AFFIRMATION: I change the way I talk -- I see the way God meant it to be, and start calling forth my miracle. Often, the battle is not with the devil, but with our own CARNAL NATURE. Our flesh really longs to rise up and fix things, stating our opinion. We must remember--the greater the faith, the fewer the words. If there are some battles or power-struggles going on in your sphere of influence, keep in mind, it's best to always bow lower. After all, God became a baby to conquer the world. For it's, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit, says the Lord." - Zechariah 4:6 As You Allow Him to Change You, He will Change Your Circumstances: The season of depression, confusion, lack, and sinful cycles is over. Don't look back -- Don't bring up the past -- It is under the Blood of Christ. Just as your sins have been forgiven forgive others. Let go of the bitterness and the regrets. Crucify your ego. Release the anger. He will work everything for good. Get ready to move into new realms of His glory. Every time you encounter His glory He is changing you. He is changing your thoughts. He is changing your perspective. He is increasing the power of His Spirit in you. He is anointing you to bring breakthrough to others. Receive the fresh prophetic flow of His presence. Be refreshed. Receive an excitement for that which is coming. The future is full of adventure. Expect Him to do mighty things for nothing is impossible for those who believe! "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." - Ephesians 1:18 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  7. Authority Vs. Power - Walking in Jesus Christ 2 Timothy 1:7: For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. Acts 1:8: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Philippians 4:13: I can do all this through Him who gives me strength. Luke 10:19: I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 1 Corinthians 6:14: By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 2 Corinthians 12:9: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. Ephesians 3:20: Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, Luke 4:32: They were amazed at his teaching, because his words had authority. Revelation 20:4-6: I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended) Ephesians 1:21: far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. John 10:18: No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” 1 Corinthians 15:24: Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. Luke 20:2: “Tell us by what authority you are doing these things,” they said. “Who gave you this authority?” Luke 12:5: But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him. Matthew 9:6: But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Rise, pick up your bed and go home.” Matthew 28:18: Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Acts 10:38: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with Him. 2 Peter 1:3: His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Romans 15:13: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Psalm 68:35: You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!
  8. Psalm 32:6 - "Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not reach Him." Even so, regardless of the terrible delusions that we have How many of us have not traded much more for much less? How many of us have been frivolously wasting our time when we could have spent it before the Throne of Grace? We have been called to be the sons and daughters of the King who is above all kings. To disregard such an honor is to fall to the same tragic fate as Esau, who traded his birthright as an heir of the promises for a mere bowl of soup! to, if we repent the Lord can make up all of the ground that we have lost much more quickly than we could ever believe. As Peter explained:succumbed 2 Peter 3:8 - "But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day." The Lord can do us in one day what we think would take a thousand years. His grace is not dependent on our abilities or disabilities, or on time. If we repent of walking in the delusions of devotion to things that are temporary, we can right now be as close to Him as we want to be, and our deeds will begin to have the mark of eternity on them - we will begin to bear fruit that remains.in Affirmations: I UNDERSTAND THAT MY FOUNDATION FOR GREATNESS WILL BE REALIZED IN MY CONSTANCY OF PURPOSE. THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT IN LIFE THAN GIVING MYSELF TO MY DESTINY - THE PURPOSE OF GOD FOR MY LIFE. I FOCUS ON MY PURPOSE WITH SUCH A CLEAR, BIBLICAL VISION THAT I AM ABLE TO MAINTAIN THE CONSTANCY REQUIRED FOR ACCOMPLISHING ALL THAT I WAS PLACED ON THIS EARTH TO DO. Psalm 34:1 -" I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Affirmation: MY PRESENT FOCUS DETERMINES MY PRESENT JOY. Psalm 69:30 - "I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving." "You will also be [considered] a crown of glory and splendor in the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem [exceedingly beautiful] in the hand of your God." - AMP Wear the crown of glory that He would have you wear uprightly. Lay down any identity that man would come with. Man would come and try to push His crown off your head, and put upon it a counterfeit identity. Lay down all these things that rush into your mind – to where you cannot even come into His presence, because your mind, your spirit, is somewhere else. Press it aside. Press forward in the run of faith. And know, as you run in faith, you will meet Him, face to face, for in His Presence are the answers for every circumstance you are in. You do not understand what is available to you. He brings forth that which would birth life around you. Call everything that would command you to die – to give up dreams and visions and hope – command it to be cast behind you, for it is of satan. Tell him to get behind you. Tell him that he cannot hinder the CALLING that He has placed upon you. Understand who He calls you to be. You are more than a conqueror in Him, and by His Spirit -- through you. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. "Rule in the midst of your enemies" - Psalm 110:2 The Lord has provided us with powerful tools to accomplish our assignment and legislate the heavens with the ability to call forth what is not as though it were. He has given us the power of the Blood, the power of His name, the power of His Word, the power of decree, the power of the Holy Spirit to bring it to pass, and angel armies assigned to God's Kingdom purposes! He has given us everything needed to rule and reign, to take and to hold ground! Circumstances may seem to be holding you back, or life situations and finances, but obedience to take your place in PURPOSE for your life unlocks your DESTINY and positions you for favor. It's a favor that opens the necessary doors for you to accomplish your assignment.God's "Of the increase of His Government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this." - Isaiah 9:7 Choosing to set yourself firmly in the place where God has called you unlocks spiritual principles that result in increase. The best days of the Church are upon us and it's a time to embrace our divine destiny. God is good and He is faithful! Let us wake up and be successful in fulfilling all He has planned! This is the hour of the fulfillment of His promises of glory and light! The people of God are beginning to "arise and shine" for our light has come! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. John 3:8 - "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." The wind is known by its sound, and by its effect. Whenever the Spirit moves there is a spiritual sound coming from the spirit realm. Spiritual sound is not random indefinite noise. It is a sound which speaks and reveals knowledge to those with ears to hear. John 12:28,29 - "'Rather, I will say, Father, glorify Your name!' Then there came a voice out of heaven saying, I have already glorified it, and I will glorify it again. The crowd of bystanders heard the sound and said that it had thundered; others said, An angel has spoken to Him!" Jesus taught us to pray for earth God will use spiritual How is it to be done? to manifest what is already in Heaven. sound -sound that will be unintelligible to spiritual wickedness and hidden from man's natural mind. Romans 8:22,23 - "And we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body." The creation is releasing a groan, which is not a word but the sound of a spiritual birth. This sound is echoed in us as we yearn for the revelation of the glory of God. We are like instruments that resonate the sound coming from heaven - the approaching rule of the King of Kings. Affirmations: THE SOUNDS OF HEAVEN HAVE FALLEN TO ME IN PLEASANT PLACES; YES, I HAVE A GOOD INHERITANCE. I REVEAL SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS WITH SPIRITUAL WORDS, AS THE SPIRIT LEADS ME. I AM GROWING IN MY CAPACITY TO RELEASE SPIRITUAL SOUND ALIGNING WITH THE HEART AND NATURE OF GOD. "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." - Ephesians 1:18 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. John 3:3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." What does it mean to "see" the kingdom of God? Jesus urged us to do an about-face in our approach to reality because His Kingdom is at hand. He brought His world with Him, and it's within our reach. He wants us to see reality from God's perspective, to learn to live "from" His world "towards" the visible world. But we have to change the way we think if we want to apprehend the Kingdom power that is available. Jesus was saying that when our minds are renewed, we will see the Kingdom displayed and proven as He did in His earthly ministry. The idea of Kingdom power and spiritual conflict unsettles some people, but without power, the gospel is not good news. Jesus never made the gospel simply a doctrinal exercise. His reality - is to raise up a delegated group of people who work with Him to destroy the works of the devil, who demonstrate and prove the will of God here on earth as it is in heaven. Affirmations: I HAVE AN UNRELENTING HUNGER TO WATCH THE KINGDOM BREAK INTO THIS REALM. I BECOME A CONNECTING POINT AND GATEWAY FOR GOD'S POWER. I AM A C0-LABORER WITH JESUS IN THE GREAT COMMISSION. "Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." - Philippians 3:21 The body being filled with the Spirit we are so hungry, so thirsty, that nothing will satisfy us so operated by the Spirit in the process of changing until we are like unto Him.but seeing Jesus. Getting more thirsty every day, more dry every day, until the floods come, and the Master passes by, ministering unto us and through us, and through us the same life, the same inspiration, that as He is, so are we in this world. Matthew 12:37 - "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Affirmation: I LET MY WORDS CREATE THE CURRENT THAT SWEEPS ME INTO THE HEART OF GOD. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Hebrews 11:1 - "Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things that you cannot see." The scripture says that "For we walk by faith, and not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7). We must never let what our eyes see determine what our hearts believe. In other words, we are to walk according to what is in our hearts. We are to let what is in our hearts dictate how we see life. Physical sight is the ability to see things as they are. Vision is the capacity to see things as they should be, and that takes faith. Vision is in the heart. Faith is seeing the future in the present. Affirmations: THE WORD DICTATES WHAT IS IN MY HEART. THE VISIONS IN MY HEART IS GREATER THAN MY ENVIRONMENT. GOD GAVE ME VISION SO I WOULD NOT HAVE TO LIVE BY WHAT I SEE. Matthew 24:4 - Jesus answered them, "Be careful that no one misleads you." If we are listening to something that does not center us firmly upon the path into God's kingdom, if we are not becoming like Jesus in holiness and power, we are being misled, and that misleading knowledge is an idol. l Affirmations: THE LORD WANTS ME TO BE ROOTED IN HIM, NOT ROOTED IN MY IDEA ABOUT HIM. I MUST BE CONFIDENT ENOUGH OF HIS LOVE TO BE ABLE TO UPROOT A WRONG IDEA; AN IDOL IS AN IDOL. Just as Jeremiah was given the ability to "see" his new season (see Jeremiah 1:4-12), we are present-day Jeremiahs – having our eyes opened to understand and know all that God has formed for us (our future and DESTINY) has been preserved. It is His desire that we move closer – reposition ourselves to "draw near." And, in an intimate relationship He will speak to us concerning mysteries. It is time to "Set your mind of the things above, not on the things that are on the earth, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:2-3). It is your season to be as Jeremiah and allow God to touch your mouth so that you are empowered to see and confess all that Heaven says about God's PURPOSE for your life, your circumstances, and your future! If you recall, Jeremiah could not see his future until God "touched his mouth." The word "touched" is the Greek word naga and implies that God struck the unbelief that had held Jeremiah's faith captive. The word also implies a "violent act." Think about this a moment. God did a violent act against Jeremiah's unbelief. God, Himself, went to battle against Jeremiah's mindsets concerning his abilities to be used by God (see Jeremiah 1:1-12). The finished work at the Cross promises you a new season. Jeremiah was able to "see" an almond branch budding. The almond branch is the first branch to bloom in a new season. SEE your NEW season! 13. Nehemiah 4:6 - "So we rebuilt the wall till all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart." Passion is stamina that says "I'm going to go after this, no matter what happens. If I have to wait ten years, I'm going to get it." Passionate people are those who have discovered something more important than life itself. Jesus told His disciples, "Whoever does not persevere and carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple." (Luke 14:27) Affirmations: I REALIZE THAT GIVING UP FALSE VISIONS AND AMBITIONS FOR MY GENUINE VISION IS THE PATH TO TRUE LIFE. I AM HUNGRY FOR MY VISION I NEED PASSION TO FULFILL MY VISION. I NEED PURPOSE TO PRODUCE PASSION Matthew 16:25 - "For whoever is bent on saving his life(his comfort and security here) shall lose it (eternal life); and whoever loses his life (his comfort and security here) for My sake shall find it (life everlasting)." Romans 11:29 - "For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. (He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace, or to whom He sends His call.)" The Holy Spirit, the very Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, lives in us, making it impossible for us to be content with what we can only see, hear, touch, taste, and smell. Our hearts know there is much more to life than what we perceive with our senses; we are spiritually agitated by the lack of connection with the realm of the supernatural. Written into the spiritual DNA of every believer is an appetite for the impossible that cannot be ignored or wished away. end nothing satisfies the heart of the Christian like seeing so-called impossibilities bow their knees to the name of Jesus. Anything less that this is abnormal and unfulfilling. Affirmations: BAD TEACHING AND DISAPPOINTMENT HAVE ROBBED ME LONG ENOUGH OF THIS REALITY. I REALIZE THAT THE NORMAL CHRISTIAN LIFE BEGINS WITH THE REALIZATION THAT WE WERE PUT HERE TO DO THE WILL OF GOD ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. Luke 11:2 - "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth." In Psalm 27:8 David said, "When You said, 'Seek My face' my heart said, 'Thy face, Lord, I will seek.'" God is saying to you, "Seek My face." What is your response? Is it like David's? Are you saying, "Thy face God, I will seek." Or are you saying, "When I get caught up at work, or when things slow down a bit..."? The time is NOW and by next month "this time" may have passed. Seek Him now, while He can be found, as the Scripture says (Isaiah 55:6). Acting in the spirit of sacrifice He will come to you and His reward will be with Him: Wherever His presence is, healing is. Wherever His presence is, restoration is. Wherever His presence is, peace is. Wherever His presence is, prosperity is. We WILL See the Goodness of God Psalm 27 ends with "I would have lost heart if I had not believed I would see the goodness of God in the land of the living." Psalm 27:13 Seeing the goodness of God – here, in our life – is the fruit of intimacy with God; it is part of the reward. Seek Him now. Seek His face and see His Goodness. Can you sense His desire for time with you? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. Deuteronomy 30:19 - "I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life." He was saying, "Stop procrastinating and hoping you will eventually get somewhere in life. Decide whether you're going to get a curse or a blessing. Decide whether you're going to die or live." Affirmations: I AM NOT DESIGNED TO DRIFT - I AM DESIGNED FOR DESTINY. I AM NOT GOING TO PROCRASTINATE ON MY DREAM AND DRIFT ALONG, ENDING UP WHEREVER THE LUKEWARM TIDE TAKES ME. I MAKE A PLAN AND FULFILL IT. Revelation 3:15,16 - "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth." John 3:34 - "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure." The Holy Spirit desires you to live daily in the fullness of the Lord so that Jesus will receive glory and honor through His great power working in and through you. Jesus said to the Father, “As You sent Me, Father, send them!” (John 20:21). God will empower you, just as He did Jesus, to walk out the fullness of your DESTINY, with that same unlimited anointing of the Holy Spirit! (John 3:34). This fullness is available to every believer, for we have inherited the blessing and privilege to know the mysteries, secrets, and thoughts of God (Rom 8:16). "And said, Verily I say to you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven." - Matthew 18:3 We can walk in stability and confidence with Him, if we hold to the potential that rests within us before the Lord in simple child-like trust -- we will be enabled to rise above the limitations that we place upon ourselves, and enter into all that He has made available for us. We need only to realize that we are a new creation - that old things have passed away and our life is hidden in Jesus, and that our strength comes from Him. With David, we should be able to say, "The Lord is my light and my salvation..." (Psalm 27:1). If we will meditate on the past victories that we gained by placing our lives in His hands, this will become personally real to us. Paul said, "I press toward the mark..." (Philippians 3:14). This "mark" is our CALLING in Christ. We look past our vacillations to see there is within us a deep inner determination to press through to the place where our responses no longer emerge from our Adamic nature, but from the new creation that we have become. 15. Matthew 6:9-10 - "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Many people are confused about the will of God on earth, believing that it is fuzzy and vague. The will of God is simply this: "On earth as it is in heaven." When we pray, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done," we're praying for the King's dominion and will to be realized right here, right now. God has not kept His desires secret: He wants the reality of heaven to invade this rebel-torn world, to transform it, to bring it under His headship. What is free to operate in heaven - joy, peace, wisdom, health, wholeness, and all the other good promises we read about in the Bible - should be free to operate here on this planet, in your home, your church, your business, and your school. What is not free to operate there - sickness, disease, spiritual bondage, and sin - should not be free to operate here, period. Affirmations: I REALIZE THAT I AM PUT HERE TO DO THE WILL OF GOD ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. I EMBRACE THIS LIFE-TRANSFORMING UNDERSTANDING OF "NORMAL CHRISTIANITY". MY ASSIGNMENT AS A BELIEVER ON EARTH IS TO DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL. AS I MAKE THIS MY PRIMARY UNDERSTANDING OF GOD'S WILL, THE OTHER AREAS THAT TROUBLE ME SO MUCH WILL SEEM TO SORT THEMSELVES OUT. Ephesians, 3:16 in the Amplified reads, "May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His Glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy Spirit {Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]" We can live in the Fresh Anointing that brings strength to strength living in these times! The greater the challenges that arise to confront us, the greater the favor, grace, and power the Lord releases to and through us. In Psalm 92:10, "But my horn (emblem of excessive strength and stately grace) You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with Fresh OIL!" AMP John 8:36 - "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Loose yourself from all entanglements, soul ties, dead works, wrong relationships, wrongmind-sets. Be free from all false expectations, man's expectations, religious expectations; every expectation that does not come from the hope and expectancy that He gives to you. So you must be emptied of all the things that hold you in the earthly realm, repent and turn away from those things that break His heart. Set your priorities in order for He is taking you into another realm of your faith walk. You are going from Faith to Faith and Glory to Glory. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  16. Mark 4:14,20 - "The sower sows the Word. And those sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the Word and receive and accept and welcome it and bear fruit - some thirty times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much, and some even a hundred times as much." JESUS DIDN'T SPEND TIME TRYING TO GET MEN OUT OF POVERTY. HE GOT THE POVERTY OUT OF THEM AND THEY DID THE REST. IF CHRIST WERE HERE TODAY, HE WOULDN'T MOVE PEOPLE OUT OF THE SLUMS....HE'D SIMPLY GET THE SLUMS OUT OF THEM. THEIR NEW INNER IMAGE WOULD EVENTUALLY CHANGE THEIR SURROUNDINGS TO MATCH THE NEW PROSPEROUS IMAGE ON THE INSIDE. Affirmations: GOD'S WAY OF CHANGING MY WORLD IS BY FIRST CHANGING MY SELF-IMAGE THROUGH HIS WORD AND THE WORK OF HIS SPIRIT ON THE INSIDE OF ME. TODAY I CONFESS GOD'S PROMISES - I AM SOWING THE SEED OF HIS WORD INTO THE SOIL OF MY HEART WHERE IT WILL BEGIN TO DEVELOP AND BRING TO PASS WHAT I HAVE SPOKEN. Matthew 5:4 - "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." JESUS WAS TALKING ABOUT THE MOURNING OF THE INTERCESSOR. HE WAS TEACHING ABOUT THE COMFORT THAT COMES TO THE INTERCESSOR WHEN HE IS ASSURED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT HE HAS PRAYED THROUGH. TO PRAY THROUGH MEANS TO BREAK THROUGH THE BARRIERS THAT HAVE STOPPED THE WORK OF GOD IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS. IT MEANS USING YOUR SPIRITUAL ARMOR TO PUSH BACK THE FORCES OF DARKNESS THAT SURROUNDS THEM. Affirmations: AS A PRAYER WARRIOR FOR GOD I REACH OUT FOR HIS MERCY AND COMPASSION FOR THE SINNER, FOR THE SICK, AND FOR THE DOWNCAST. I DON'T LET UP UNTIL I HAVE THE ASSURANCE INSIDE, IN MY SPIRIT, THAT EVERY BARRIER IS BROKEN AND EVERY AREA OF BONDAGE HAS BEEN ABOLISHED. As soon as Paul saw the light from heaven above the brightness of the sun, he said, "Lord what wilt thou have me to do?" - Acts 19:6 God wants to charge our faith today. He wants us to see it is not obtained by struggling and working and pining. "...the Father himself loveth you..." (John 16:27) "..Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17). "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"(Matthew 11:18). May we lay hold of this living faith today -- the Blood has never lost its power -- as we get nearer and nearer to Jesus wonderful things will take place. The baptism of Jesus must bring us to have a single eye to the glory of God; everything else is wasted time and wasted energy. The Holy Spirit wants us for the purpose of manifesting Jesus through us. The Holy Spirit moving upon us will make us to be like Him, and we will truly say, "Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?" 17. Psalm 138:7,8 - "Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies and Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me." God has promised to revive you in the midst of trouble. He promised to perfect that which concerns you. That means your recovery from your adverse circumstances, from the schemes of the devil, your victory, and all that God has destined for you has been planned out in heaven. Pain is merely a passage to a miracle. Failure cannot happen in your life without your permission! Affirmations: SINCE I DO NOT ACCEPT WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE IN THE NATURAL AND ACCEPT WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE IN THE SPIRITUAL, THE NATURAL CHANGES. I DO NOT DEPEND ON WHAT I CAN DO, BUT ON WHAT THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD WILL DO THROUGH MY SITUATION. Zechariah 4:6 - "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." Isaiah 43:18,19 - "Do not remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Your enemy is anyone who would rather discuss your past than your future. When Jesus stood at the scene of the woman caught in adultery, revelation exploded. Men were present, obsessed with her mistake, ready to stone her. But, Jesus was looking at her future. With one single stroke of mercy, He removed her past: "Neither do I condemn thee"(John 8:11). Then in a masterful stroke of the Master Artist, He painted a portrait that would lead her to Her Kingdom future: "Go, and sin no more". John 5:19 - "The Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever He does, that the Son does likewise." Jesus told us the secret for His life -- "I only do what I see my Father doing." Our attention is on what God is doing or has done. If we dwell on what God hasn't done we create an occasion for offense. If we dwell on what God has done we create an occasion for thankfulness. A kingdom mind-set doesn't accuse God. A kingdom mindset doesn't gain information to support accusation against God. Because it burns with the conviction that He is good. With that as the cornerstone of our theology, we work from there towards the issues of life. Anything that you think you know about God that you can't find in the person of Jesus, you have reason to question. Jesus Christ is perfect theology -- He is the exact image of the Father. That is our message. He is not part of the message -- He is the message. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  18. "Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31 Eagles love the storm. The eagle uses the storm's wind to lift it higher. Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagles use the raging storm to lift him above the clouds. We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers relish challenges and use them profitably. The Word and the Spirit are the wind beneath your wings. When you declare the Word over your life, you can ride the wind. When we wait upon the Lord, we can ride His wind, even in adversity. What the enemy meant for your harm, He will turn around for your good as you stay prayerful, stay in His presence, seek His face and stand in the reality of who you are in Christ. Don't let the wicked one move you with the winds and hailstorms. Ride the wind of adversity and use the storm to your advantage. Rejoice in the tribulation knowing that your character will become more Christ-like as you press into the work of the Cross. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  19. When we walk in a lifestyle of evangelism, the supernatural and the encounters that go with it will naturally be a part of our everyday walk. We won't have to think about the "where and how" of sharing the love of Jesus with people – they will naturally find us! The key to the results you want to see is allowing evangelism to become who you are instead of simply what you do. Not everyone is called to the office of an Evangelist, but every Believer shares the Good News! This can be an incredibly intimidating thing if you do not understand God's heart, nor do you know your place in His heart. Here are two questions we need to answer as we walk in a supernatural lifestyle of evangelism: 1. What does the Father see? 2. What is God's PURPOSE for my life? KEEPING OUR EYES ON THE LOVE OF JESUS THROUGH US Acts 26:18 - "to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me." Love flows from God's heart to us: to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, from the power of satan unto God that they might receive – forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Jesus. God is looking to impart something and to give something to us! He is eagerly waiting so that we can receive from Him! As His ambassadors, when we share the Good News, we are not just trying to "fill the pews" and pile more people into church but to equip new believers to be effective in advancing God's Kingdom on earth. Our ultimate goal is to offer Him an inheritance of children and give people a place in a divinely appointed family. Once we taste of His love, we will consistently release it to bring change to those around us until the earth begins to look like Heaven. This is exactly what Jesus did. STOKING THE BURNING FIRE The prophet, according to Jeremiah 20:9, had a fire shut up in His bones that He could not contain: "But His Word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not." That fire – the Word of the Lord – was what motivated Jeremiah – and we Believers of today – to go and pursue people for the Kingdom of God! Jesus chastised the Church of Ephesus for just one thing – they lost their first love. They lost that passion – that fire in their bones, if you will – that burned within them like a campfire on a cold desert night that could be seen for miles, attracting anyone nearby to its light and warmth. As we rekindle our freedom to burn brightly for Jesus without conforming to religious molds thereby keeping that fire from smoldering into embers and going out. Rekindle your first love, whatever it takes! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. Luke 4:18,19 - "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me; He has sent me to announce good news to the poor, to proclaim release for prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to let the broken victims go free, to proclaim the year of the lord's favor." Jesus' concern for mankind was applauded. His Humility was revered, but it was the anointing that released the supernatural. And it was the supernatural invasion of God Himself that was rejected by the religious leaders. This anointing is actually the person of the Holy Spirit upon someone to equip them for supernatural endeavors. To fulfill His mission, Jesus needed the Holy Spirit; and that mission, with all its objectives, was to finish the Father's work. If the Son of God was that reliant upon the anointing, His behavior should clarify our need for the Holy Spirit's presence upon us to do what the Father has assigned. Hebrews 12:2 - ".......who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross......." JESUS VISUALIZED HIMSELF IN VICTORY. HIS MIND WAS PICTURING VICTORY. WHEN JESUS WALKED TO CALVARY, HE WAS NOT LOOKING AT THE CROSS; HE WAS LOOKING AT THE RESURRECTION. Mark 5:28 - "If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole." THE WOMAN WITH THE ISSUE OF BLOOD VISUALIZED. IT HAPPENED IN HER MIND BEFORE IT HAPPENED IN HER BODY. Affirmations: I SEE MYSELF WITH VICTORY. I VISUALIZE WHERE GOD WANTS ME TO BE. THEN, I ACT AS IF I AM ALREADY THERE. "And Goliath cursed David by his gods. The Philistine also said to David, 'Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the sky and the beasts of the field.'" - 1 Samuel 18:43,44 Goliath first used fiery darts against David (his words of negativity), believing that the negativity alone would cause David to cower down! Yes, Goliath's negative words were meant to be a "first-blow" against David to weaken him so that Goliath could move in quickly for the kill! For us today, a Philistine spirit might sound like this: • You're too young (old) to be used of God. • You're unqualified to lay hands on the sick and see them healed. • You're not a good speaker. • Your family was poor. How can you ever consider yourself blessed of God? • You are not attractive, you're fat (skinny), or too short (tall). • You are weak. Just take a good look at yourself. Is there anything about you of which you can really be proud? • You failed. You sinned. God will never use you. God has abandoned you. Notice that this spirit targets our significance. In other words, it targets our identity as a Christian: a blood-bought Believer, a child of the King, a son, and daughter of God. This is exactly what Goliath attempted to do with David...infiltrate his belief system concerning his identity and his relationship with God! We are already victorious because of the Cross. Still, we must possess our Promised Land through AFFIRMING and MEDITATING the scriptures that have to do with our identity as born-again believers. Jesus paid the price for it – let's believe it and enter into it! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  21. John 14:14,15 - "(Yes) I will grant (I Myself will do for you) whatever you shall ask in My Name. If you (really) love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands." DO LIKE THE RICH YOUNG RULER, WE KNOW SOMETHING IS MISSING IN US. WE ASK THE MASTER, "WHAT STILL HOW IS IT THAT THIS PROMISE IS NOT FULFILLED FOR US? WHY IS IT THAT SUCH GREAT ANTICIPATION RESULTS IN SUCH A SMALL RETURN?I LACK?" JESUS WILL NOT SPONTANEOUSLY ANSWER OUR REQUESTS UNTIL WE INSTINCTIVELY OBEY HIS. OBEDIENCE TO HIS REQUESTS PREPARES US TO EXPERIENCE HIS INDWELLING, WHERE HIS LOVE FINDS ITS FULFILLMENT. IT IS VITAL THAT WE OBEY HIM, BUT CHRIST'S ULTIMATE GOAL IS NOT JUST OUR OBEDIENCE, BUT OUR ONENESS WITH HIM. HE IS AFTER OUR LOVE. AND WHAT IS LOVE? IT IS A PASSION FOR ONENESS. Affirmation: I AROUSE MY SPIRIT TO THE DEEP, HOLY DESIRE IN CHRIST'S PROMISE - "I WILL LOVE HIM, AND WILL DISCLOSE MYSELF TO HIM" (JOHN 14:21). Malachi 3:6 - "I am the lord, I change not." THE WORLD'S ORDER OF THINGS IS UNSURE, INDEFINITE, AND UNRELIABLE. HOWEVER, GOD HAS NO DOUBLE STANDARD. HE DOESN'T SAY ONE THING TODAY AND SOMETHING ELSE TOMORROW. Affirmations: I DEPEND ON THE WORD TO GIVE ME STABILITY WHEN EVERYTHING ELSE AROUND ME GIVES WAY. I AM CONFIDENT WHEN OTHERS ARE CONFUSED AND PEACEFUL WHEN OTHERS ARE UNDER PRESSURE BECAUSE I LET WHAT GOD SAYS SETTLE THE ISSUES OF LIFE. I AM OVERCOMING WHEN OTHERS ARE BEING OVERCOME! "For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ" - 1 Corinthians 2:16 This is a cross–reference from Isaiah 40:13 which says: "Who can fathom the Spirit of the LORD, or instruct the LORD as his counselor?" What Paul was trying to say is that along with the domain of the King comes the reality of our mind being merged with His! Under the law (OLD COVENANT), no one could understand the mind of the Lord, but under grace (NEW COVENANT), we have been given His very mind. This is the reality of a Kingdom Dweller. Our mind is no longer a battleground for the enemy, but a concourse for the Holy Ghost. According to 1 Corinthians 4:1, we are stewards of His mysteries! A steward literally means a governor. A kingdom must be in place for us to govern—and that Kingdom is His, and you are a governor of His mysteries on the earth! That being said, we no longer press in for more of what we don't have but learn all of WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST and OUR RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD which we have been granted through Christ Jesus' Blood! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  22. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." - 1 Peter 1:3 The Lord is redefining His Church and calling them out of a place of stagnancy and redundancy into a place of passion. Have you ever felt as if you were running around in circles, going through churchy motions but getting nowhere? When we lose sight of His Kingdom, our lives can be easily reduced to "playing church" which is no fun after awhile. Jesus only spoke of His Church – or Ekklesia roughly 3 times and mainly in the book of Matthew (Matthew 16:18, 18:17). The Lord's original idea for His called-out assembly (Church) -- a supernatural army of sons and daughters pulsing with a passionate expression of His Kingdom on the earth. In order to see the fruit of Jesus on the earth, we must remember to live from the Kingdom of Heaven. The Church is not meant to be a box in which we contain and theorize Heaven. WE ARE GOD'S AMBASSADORS HERE ON EARTH Every believer has the potential to wake up and smell the glory -- that is, recognize who they are in Christ as sons and daughters. The Church of Jesus Christ should be a place of equipping the saints in: who they are in Christ, their right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit. Now they are ready to understand their CALLING in Christ and be propelled into their Kingdom destinies. The Church is not meant to be a place where we get trained to go through the motions, it's mean to be a gathering and equipping of the representatives of the Kingdom of Heaven. As we ascend into passionate, Kingdom-living which results in an effective, powerful Church as well as personal life, we practice the operation of the gifts that in us such as faith, miracles, exhortation, etc. CAMP AROUND THE CLOUD "So it was continuously; the cloud would cover it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. Whenever the cloud was lifted from over the tent, afterward the sons of Israel would then set out; and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the sons of Israel would camp. At the command of the LORD the sons of Israel would set out, and at the command of the LORD they would camp; as long as the cloud settled over the tabernacle, they remained camped out." - Numbers 9:16-17 Kingdom people are led by the Spirit. We can experience an incredible stagnancy and/or burn out if we do not camp around the cloud of His glory. If you find yourself feeling stagnant or unproductive, challenge yourself to step out in faith by praying for someone or discipling a new believer in their spiritual growth. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  23. Colossians 2:9,10 - "For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form (giving complete expression of the divine nature). And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life, (in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - and reach full spiritual stature). And He is the Head of all rule and authority. " FAITH IS UNLIMITED. WHY? BECAUSE ITS SOURCE IS UNLIMITED. THE LAWS OF FAITH ARE SURE, STEADFAST AND AS UNCHANGING AS JESUS HIMSELF. IN GIVING HIMSELF TO US, HE HAS GIVEN US HIS FAITH. NOT JUST A PORTION OF IT, BUT ALL OF IT. Galatians 2:20 -- ".....I live by the faith of the Son of God......." (KJV) Romans 10:17 - "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing, by the word of God." HE DID NOT GIVE US ONLY A PORTION OF HIMSELF. EVERYTHING HE HAS AND IS HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US IN FULL MEASURE. FAITH IS BORN OUT OF THE WORD HIMSELF. THE FIRST STEP TO VICTORY EVERY TIME IS CONFIDENCE IN THE GROWTH PROCESS OF THE WORD. CONFIDENCE IN THE GROWTH PROCESS IS DISPLAYED BY THE MAN WHO SOWED THE SEED (THE WORD OF GOD) -- MARK 4:26-29. IT WILL PRODUCE IF ALLOWED TO RUN ITS FULL COURSE. THAT IS HOW WE ARE BORN AGAIN "NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, BY THE WORD OF GOD, WHICH LIVETH AND ABIDETH FOREVER" (1 PETER 1:23). THAT'S WHY FAITH IS SO EASY FOR THE PERSON WHO SPENDS TIME IN THE WORD. IT IS "NATURAL" TO THE LIFE OF THE BELIEVER BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT WE ARE BORN TO DO. Affirmations: IT IS UP TO ME JUST HOW FAR I GO WITH THE FAITH HE HAS GIVEN ME. FAITH IS THE DOORWAY TO ABUNDANCE. THE GROWTH OF MY FAITH IS NOT LIKE THE GROWTH OF NATURAL THINGS THAT HAVE BUILT-IN LIMITATIONS. THE ONLY LIMITS ON THE GROWTH OF MY FAITH ARE THERE BECAUSE OF ME, NOT BECAUSE THE FATHER HAS LIMITED IT IN ANY WAY. I SPEND TIME DEVELOPING MY FAITH BY AFFIRMING, MEDITATING, AND SEEING MYSELF IN THE WORD OF GOD AND APPLYING IT TO OVERCOME THE STORMS OF LIFE. Isaiah wrote, "No weapon formed against you will prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of God, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord." Isaiah 54:17 We quote the first part of that verse frequently and yet fail to read the remainder of the verse. What we miss is the part that says that God will condemn the voices of darkness that rise up to condemn us. If God condemns what is condemning us, shouldn't we do the same? His love is always flowing towards us and can never be diverted by the dam of personal shame and condemnation. God is inviting His people to rise up and join with Him to condemn each voice of Hell that tries to rob us of our DESTINY. That will be our most significant act of spiritual warfare. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  24. "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." - Hebrews 12:1-2 We are all running the race of faith in our Christian life. The Lord wants you to know He is running this race with you. He is cheering you on and interceding for you every step of the way. This race is about faithfulness and perseverance. There will be times along our course of the race where we are tempted to focus on distractions and we stumble. Jesus is reminding us to focus on Him and the path set before us because He has gone before us and knows the path ahead. God has a race path or a DESTINY for each of us and our role is to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit and follow the path the Lord has planned for us. "May He equip you with all you need for doing His will. May He produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to Him. All glory to Him forever and ever! Amen," - Hebrews 13:21. "Faithful is He who calls you, and He will bring it to pass," - 1 Thessalonians 5:24 CAST OFF THE WEIGHTS THAT HINDER RUNNING YOUR RACE It is important for us to cast off everything that hinders us, anything that slows us down or trips us in our race. We are to lay aside any unbelief and doubt but instead trust in God and His promises as He is faithful to bring to pass everything He has promised. We are to set our mind on things above and use our spiritual sight as we run our race because as we do this we will see the road ahead very differently. Our role is to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit and to walk by faith and not by sight. LEAPING OVER YOUR OBSTACLES We are called to persevere even when there are obstacles in our race. In 1 Timothy 6:12 we read we are to, "Fight the good fight of the faith." We can rise above our struggles and know we are overcomers in Christ as He has already won the victory for us. The Lord is reminding us to praise and trust Him in all parts of our race. This will cause us to leap over obstacles that may come our way in our race. The steadfastness of the Old Testament "witnesses" in Hebrews chapter 11 speaks to us of the rewards of never giving up. Their unyielding faith points to Jesus and urges us to follow their example and run with perseverance the race marked out for us. "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus," - Philippians 3:14 Jesus is our example of how to run the race and we are to walk as He walked. "The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked" - 1 John 2:6 The Lord is highlighting the need to lean on Him as our source of strength when we are weary in our race. "Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary," - Isaiah 40:31 Be encouraged as you run your race of faith – the Lord is running with you and He knows the race course He has planned for you. Cast off anything that is hindering your race and run with joy, hope, and freedom. Praise Him and trust in Him as He is faithful to equip you with all you need for every part of the course. Draw close to the Lord and allow Him to renew you and give you strength in the hard times of the race. Run the race appointed to you (God's CALLING on your life) and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. 25. Matthew 10:37 - "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." If we do not love God more than our mates, we will not love our mates as much as we should. Our relationship to God was created first and must always remain first. Many try to find the fulfillment that they can only find in their relationship to God through their mates, or others, and even those in the church. Usually this will lead to frustration that will damage our relationship to our mates and others because we will begin to feel that they are not enough for us. They aren't, because they can never take the place of God in our lives. Romans 12:3 - "God has given to each man a liberal measure of faith." FAITH WILL ALWAYS OVER-COMPENSATE FOR YOUR PERSONAL FEARS AND FRUSTRATIONS - YOUR PERSONAL LIMITATIONS AND LIABILITIES. FAITH WILL ASSIST YOU TO MOVE AHEAD IN GOD'S CALL ON YOUR LIFE. EXERCISING FAITH TO FULFILL YOUR CALL WILL ALWAYS RESULT IN: INCREASING SPIRITUAL BOLDNESS! SOARING SPIRITUAL CONFIDENCE! SPIRITUAL PERSEVERANCE! TRUE LASTING SPIRITUAL EFFECTIVENESS! PERMANENT SPIRITUAL RESULTS - "FRUIT WHICH REMAINS" MEASURED BY THE LIVES YOU HAVE DRAMATICALLY CHANGED (JOHN 15:16)! I NEED PURPOSE TO PRODUCE PASSION "For whoever is bent on saving his life (his comfort and security here) shall lose it (eternal Matthew 16:25 -life); and whoever loses his life (his comfort and security here) for My sake shall find it (life everlasting)."
