  1. Jesus Christ, as the supreme Apostle ("...Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest whom we confess," Hebrews 3:1), was the One who broke through the temple veil and made a new and living way for us to follow into the presence of God. "...Since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the Blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us..." - Hebrews 10:19-20 Jesus, our chief Apostle, broke through and opened a new and living way. In order to truly be effective in the Great Commission, as a forerunner must do the same in our efforts to establish the Kingdom of God. Being born again in Christ we have access to a great breaker anointing within us. It is Jesus inside of you -- Jesus opened up a new and living way for us into the Kingdom of God through salvation. Yet now, with Christ in us, we can take His power into the earth and open up new roads of opportunities for His Kingdom to expand on the earth. Get ready for new levels...it's breakthrough time! THE SPIES RELEASED A SPIRIT OF FEAR OF TAKING THE PROMISED LAND "But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there" (Numbers 13:28). A spirit of fear was released to a whole community of people even though there was visible fruit of what could be accomplished. Yet, in the midst of doubt, one spoke up: Caleb. Caleb believed they could take the land – Caleb did not see through the eyes of a normal person, nor did he have the same spirit as the others. There was something different about him in comparison to the other pioneers; he saw an eternal reality. In fact, he was rewarded. The Lord said of him that he had a different spirit and that he followed Him wholeheartedly. With Caleb, Joshua also stood, believing they could take the land. It was a "new way" for the all of the Israelites, and they could not believe the message of Caleb and Joshua. There were other forerunners with Caleb and Joshua, yet it was only Caleb and Joshua who carried the BREAKER ANOINTING. SEEING IN AN ETERNAL REALITY There are many forerunners in this hour, yet there are few that carry a breaker anointing. There are many people that are walking in a new way and obeying directions to explore this new land, but there are few that see in an eternal reality. In fact, there are many that have had experiences and have seen life from many angles, but when it comes to taking the land and establishing the Kingdom they release doubt and fear and operate out of a natural reality. A believer with a true breaker anointing is one that stands even in the midst of everyone affected by disbelief. For them, there is a "brand new way", yet it is a possible one. Their authority is many times challenged; but their faith and declaration coupled with action is weighty and can shift societies, cultures, and nations. TAKING REVIVAL OUT OF THE SERVICE If we take revival out of the service or fail to make it a dwelling place, we become like the Israelite spies that gave a report of the impossibilities. They believed they couldn't dwell in the fullness of the riches because of the giants. But, there is a voice saying, "We can take the land, we can live in an ongoing outpouring because it is a living way." It is not just a way that is new and never seen; it is a way that is alive and unending – a living way. The path that Christ torched for us to come into the Kingdom was completely "new" and could not be opened by any besides Himself. Yet the path is still open today, and it is living – Kingdom living. The Kingdom of God is 24/7. It is continually in season and out (see Mark 11:13,14). It must become a dwelling place, a place that is inhabited. If it isn't, the normal Christian life will be seen as just a series of intermittent events. It will be seen only through an earthly reality when, all the while, we have available for us an eternal reality...Heaven on earth. "After this, I looked and, beheld a door was opened in heaven......And immediately I was in the Spirit.." - Revelation 4:1,2 God has made available for the Body of Christ open Heavens that will not shut, and we can dwell in these places. A living way is a breathing path that has limitless fruitful encounters. TAKING THE INITIATIVE ONTO UNFAMILIAR PATHS God is raising up super-breakers or super-pioneers to not only make a new way but to make it both a new and living way. They are the ones that take initiative and do not wait for others to do it for them. They are young, old, and middle-aged. They are learned, unlearned, and of all classes. This is the call of the revivalist in this hour, this is the call of the teacher in this hour to disciple new believers into their Christ inheritance, this is the call of the entire five-fold ministry in this hour. We must not wait for others; we must not see like others, we must be like lions, stepping into God's CALLING on our life! "I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them." - Isaiah 42:16 God is not just raising up forerunners. God is asking the forerunners: What type of report will you give? What type of reality will you see? What type of kingdom will you release? God is calling the forerunner to carry a breaker anointing and be led on unfamiliar paths – birthing a supernatural community! NEW AND LIVING. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. As sons and daughters of the King, we have been given authority to pray Heaven's blessings to earth. It is God's desire to bless us and for us to witness and "see" His promises manifest. Just as Jeremiah was given the ability to "see" his new season (see Jeremiah 1:4-12), we are present-day Jeremiahs – having our eyes opened to understand and know all that God has formed for us (our future and DESTINY) has been preserved. No enemy will be able to steal our future unless we let him! The devil cannot take away what God has promised you unless you allow him entrance. POSITIONED FOR REVELATION What is His perfect will? It's easy to know because it is all written in His Word. Yet, there are times when we are being positioned for the "revelation" contained within His Word to us. Revelation is the hidden knowledge of God being made known. We are entering a season where many mysteries are being revealed. God has not withheld revelation FROM you; He has withheld revelation FOR you. Revelation occurs as God's wisdom and knowledge are released – as if He lifts a veil that has covered our eyes and we are now able to see. DRAWING NEAR It is His desire that we move closer – reposition ourselves to "draw near." And, in an intimate relationship, He will speak to us concerning mysteries. It is time to"Set your mind of the things above, not on the things that are on the earth, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:2-3). It is your season to be as Jeremiah and allow God to touch your mouth (Jeremiah 1:9) so that you are empowered to see and confess all that Heaven says about God's PURPOSE for your life, your circumstances, and your future! BATTLE AGAINST UNBELIEF If you recall, Jeremiah could not see his future until God "touched his mouth." The word "touched" is the Greek word naga (Strongs 5060)and implies that God struck the unbelief that had held Jeremiah's faith captive. The word also implies a "violent act." Think about this a moment. God did a violent act against Jeremiah's unbelief. God, Himself, went to battle against Jeremiah's mindsets concerning his abilities to be used by God (see Jeremiah 1:1-12). The finished work at the Cross promises you a new season. Jeremiah was able to "see" an almond branch budding. The almond branch is the first branch to bloom in a new season. SEE your NEW season! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. Ephesians 5:14-18 - "Wake up from your sleep, and arise from the dead, And Christ shall shine upon you. Live life with a due sense of responsibility, not as men who do not know the meaning of life but as those who do. Make the best use of your time, despite all the evils of these days. Don't be vague but grasp firmly what you know to be the will of the Lord." As believers, we are instructed to live our daily lives with a sense of our unique devine DESTINY supported by goals and aims. 2 Corinthians 12:9 - "And he said unto me. 'My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." As we yield our wills and ways to the control of God's Holy Spirit, we begin to experience the walk of grace, as Jesus lives His life through us. The fire of passion burns brightly with this deposit of grace. Luke 3:2 - "The word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness." The word of God came to John the Baptist while he was alone in the wilderness, thus giving him clear direction for the days ahead. As a result of his being alone with the Lord, John came into a oneness with the Lord that could not have been accomplished in any other way. John 1:23 - "John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, 'I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way for the Lord.'" Each one of us should come to the place where we also could make this statement, "I am the voice of One." There is an urgent need for this voice to cry out in the midst of the frustrations and perils of our present day. We need to stand in the manifest presence of the Lord to be prepared as the voice of one crying in the wilderness of our day. May it be stated of us, as it was of the disciples of old, that it is apparent we have been with Jesus. This, and only this, will make the changes that must occur if we are to reach this hurting world with the message of God's redemptive, transforming grace. Affirmations: AS I RECOGNIZE HIS PRESENCE AND TURN ASIDE TO STAND BEFORE HIM, I BECOME THE EXPRESSION OF HIS VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS OF TODAY. AS I EXPERIENCE SPIRITUAL HUNGER AND SEEK FOR SOMETHING MORE, I AM CALLED APART TO BE ALONE WITH THE LORD FOR A TIME OF PREPARATION. AS I RECEIVE ANOINTING AND IMPARTATION OF GOD'S GRACE, I WALK A GRACE-FILLED LIFE IN ORDER TO SEE THE GLORY OF GOD FILL THE EARTH. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. 2 Corinthians 1:20 - "For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes in Him (Christ). For this reason we all utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him to the glory of God." The Master has handcrafted each one of us for a specific PURPOSE and a precise time, making sure we've been carefully polished and are ready to soar. With practice comes the testing. This will happen until what the psalmist said of Joseph's testing in Genesis will be true of us: "Until the time that [God's] word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him" (Psalm 105:19 NASB). But God is always faithful, and everything He promises will always come to pass, thus thrusting us into our DESTINIES as we bring glory to His name! Observation: THE WORD IS THE GUARANTEE OF ANSWERED PRAYER. GOD IS ASKING ME TO BRING HIM HIS WORD, TO PLEAD MY COVENANT RIGHTS. I AM NOT TO PRAY TO GOD IN IGNORANCE BUT AS A PARTNER IN HIS PURPOSES. 2 Timothy 1:11,12,14 - "God has appointed me to proclaim the Good News as an apostle and teacher, and it is for this reason that I suffer these things. Keep the good things that have been entrusted to you, through the power of the Holy Spirit, who lives in us." Affirmations: I STAY FOCUSED ON MY CALLING AND REMAIN DETERMINED TO DO WHAT GOD HAS TOLD ME TO DO, EVEN IF I AM ASSAULTED BY OUTSIDE FORCES THAT SEEM TO BE BEYOND MY CONTROL. I KNOW THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKS MIGHTILY IN ME, GIVING ME ALL THE POWER I NEED TO RESIST EVERY ASSAULT THE DEVIL TRIES TO BRING AGAINST ME. I AM COMPLETELY DETERMINED AND COMMITTED TO KEEP PUSHING AHEAD AND TO NEVER LET GO UNTIL I'VE ACCOMPLISHED MY GOD-GIVEN MISSION! Song of Solomon 1:14 - "My Beloved is unto me as a cluster of cypress, in the vineyards of Engedi." I AM DISCOVERING THE NEARNESS OF MY BELOVED (JESUS) TO BE LIKE A "CLUSTER OF CYPRESS" (A FRAGRANT SHRUB). HE IS THE ONE WHO GIVES FRAGRANCE AND VALUE TO EVERYTHING THAT IS DONE BY THOSE WHO SEEK HIM. AS I LEARN TO FIND MY JOY IN HIM ALONE, I CAN NO LONGER DELIGHT IN ANYTHING ELSE. TO SEEK ANY OTHER SOURCE OF SATISFACTION IS TO LOSE QUICKLY ALL THAT IS FROM HIM. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. Isaiah 4:1 - "In that day seven women will take hold of one man and say, 'We will eat our own food and provide our own clothes; only let us be called by your name. Take away our disgrace.'" We have taken hold of the world and we have taken hold of clever ideas, but the seven women (seven churches -- see Revelation 2 and 3) are about to lay hold of their Beloved. The longing of the Church is for Him. We will want to be called by His great Name. The splendor of His beauty draws us as a partner to co-labor with Him. OUR MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION There is coming a Magnificent Obsession which will grip our hearts. Our obsession will be to lay hold of Christ and not ever let Him go! Like the Shulamite woman in the Song of Songs who, when she found her Beloved, held Him tight and wouldn't let Him go! THE REVELATION OF CHRIST IN US The unveiling of Christ within us is the most explosive truth ever to hit the Church, bigger than any movement, conference or teaching! It fuels the flames of our pasion to allow Christ to live through us and be all He longs for us to become. The glorious truth of His coming will capture us and compel us to lay hold of the On Man, Jesus Christ. It is not only the timing of His return that must consume us, but how He finds us (operating in His CALLING on our life) when He returns. It is not if it is near or far, but rather if we are filed with faith, hope, and love. LAY HOLD OF JESUS CHRIST As we trim our lamps and go outside the realm of familiarity and meet Him we encounter the Bridegroom -- our Magnificent Obsession. Hie is eternal life! First Timothy 6:12 says, "Lay hold on eternal life." This means to take hold of, to grasp, to seize, to cling to! His FULL glory pours into us. To lay hold of Jesus is to becme a mature vessel of honor that He can use in the CALLING He has destined for each of us. "...I live by the FAITH OF the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20) KJV By His faith we fully experience oneness with Jesus and the explosive power of his resurrection working in us. We will be one with Him in His sufferings and we will be one with Him in His death (our death to self). Only then will we be able to experience complete oneness with Him in His resurrection so that we may reach the DESTINY which Jesus has called us to fulfill! (see Philippians 3:10-12) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Matthew 5:3 - "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven." We empty our souls, and seek to be filled with the attitude of Christ, which is a sure wellspring -- unending, and brimming with life eternal. We count all that the proud flesh desires as worth less than nothing. There is a present urgency and need to present ourselves as being available to become a "place of habitation" for the presence and glory of the Lord, beyond anything that has previously been experienced or seen. According to Paul, God bestows to us strength and power according to the riches of His glory. His glory is abundant, it's bountiful and it's endless. We cannot walk in the fullness of our destiny or calling until we KNOW the strength of God and live daily by the strength of who He is in our inner man (Ephesians 3:16). Philippians 3:8,9 - "I reckon everything as complete loss for the sake of what is so much more valuable, the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have thrown everything away; I consider it all as mere rubbish, so that I might gain Christ and be completely united with Him." Genesis 15:5,6 - "And God brought Abram forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and He said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the Lord; and He counted it to him for righteousness." Observation: I think about and reflect on the word of God -- pondering a particular scripture and mentally applying it to my own circumstances again and again until that scripture permanently marks my consciousness. As God put vision in Abram through His word, He will also bring up into my consciousness His vision for me. AFFIRMATIONS: I see God in a new way as HE comes to lead me forward -- I feel a stirring in my emotions -- God is knocking on my door -- God is calling me to a new place. The Spirit of God is creating a desire for the NEW - I thank the Holy Spirit for helping me to press through into this new place. My provision is waiting at the next level. I refuse to sit any long in a low place. Mark 16:15 - And He said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." OBSERVATION: Jesus expects me to invade every sphere where I have influence and to use that influence to share the gospel with the people who live, work and function in those places. I choose this day to invest my time and energy into fulfilling that divine assignment. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Luke 8:14 -- "The seed among the thorns represents those who listen and believe God's words but whose faith afterwards is choked out by worry and riches and the responsibilities and pleasures of life. And so they are never able to help anyone else to believe the Good News." Your enemy wants to subdue your awareness and release a slumbering spirit. In this state he can sell you on giving in to a comfortable life thereby causing a corpse-like complacency. You will always avoid the challenges of breaking out of the box into the maximum life that Jesus died to get you into. The phrase "out of the box" means that someone or something has broken out from its barriers. It also means that someone has outgrown their history and has gone beyond their limitations. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: What is choking the Christ life and preventing break-out in my life? What action am I going to take to confront and eradicate these limitations? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. James 4:3 - "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." OBSERVATION: If I am not receiving from God, I need to change what I have been giving my attention to. Affirmations: I AM THE VICTORY THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. (1 Corinthians 15:57) I AM BLESSED WITH EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST. (Ephesians 1:3) I AM SEATED WITH CHRIST IN HEAVENLY PLACES. (Ephesians 2:6) Matthew 12:34-37 - "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account therof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned". OBSERVATION: My future -- good or bad -- is in me, right now. It's in my mouth and it's determined by the words I speak. I am the prophet of my own life. AFFIRMATIONS: The Spirit of God is creating a desire for the NEW - I thank the Holy Spirit for helping me to press through into this new place. Revelation is opening my eyes and giving me this new vision. I arise now. My provision is waiting at the next level. The course of the river is beginning to change. I jump in and go up! A new height, a new momentum, and a new strength enters my soul. I refuse to sit any long in a low place. Revelation 22:1 - "And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb." OBSERVATION: God leads me to the river of His Spirit -- the current of clear goodness that flows without ceasing. As I step into that unfailing new life I will want nothing else. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. Psalm 40:17 - "But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art, my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God." It is clear that King David was very rich, so far as worldly goods are concerned. The eyes of His inner man were not set on earthly wealth, so it was as though He really was poor --- poor in spirit, as the Lord would have us. Matthew 5:3 - "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven." Galatians 6:7,8 - "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." Observation: HE HAS REVEALED THE ENDLESS CROP OF BOREDOM I WILL HARVEST WHEN I BASE MY LIFE ON PLEASURE-SEEKING -- INSTEAD OF SOWING ACTS OF GOODNESS AND LOVE FOR A HARVEST OF ETERNAL LIFE. Luke 21:31 - "But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you". Abiding in Christ and allowing Him to flow freely out of us enables us to function with the greatest degree of success, thus discovering God's CALLING upon our life. Seeking an understanding of our true identity is essential in order to obtain our divine DESTINY. We are called to succeed in advancing the Kingdom of God on earth -- to walk in overcoming victory: "...because as He is, so are we in this world" (1 John 4:17) Affirmations: I ASK THE LORD TO PROPEL ME INTO THE NEXT LEVEL OF MY GROWTH AND DESTINY. I AM DETERMINED THAT I WILL COOPERATE WITH HIM. Matthew 5:6 - "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. Matthew 18:18,19 - "What you prohibit (or stop) on earth will be prohibited (or stopped) in heaven, and what you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven." Walking in His authority is actually more than just a right that has been given to us, it's our responsibility. As joint heirs with Christ, we have a responsibility to walk in His authority TAKING DOMINION. He has called us to be good stewards of His Kingdom while we are here on earth, and walking in His authority goes hand in hand with being a good steward of the Kingdom. OBSERVATION: Whatever I allow, God allows. Mabe I am allowing things in my life that are unlike God. Until I bind those things and remove them from my life, the path between me and my DESTINY will always be filed with traps and land mines. AFFIRMATIONS: I was born again -- I wasn't half re-born. I wasn't made half-righteous or a quarter-righteous -- I was made the righteousness of God in Christ! I am a joint Heir with Him. I step up to the position of authority and dominion that Jesus has given me, to take my rightful place beside Him and learn to operate the way He does. Exodus 20:3 - "You shall have no other gods before Me." AN IDOL IS WHAT I PUT BEFORE GOD IN MY LIFE. ANYTHING I LIKE, TRUST, LOVE, ADORE, DESIRE, WORSHIP, HOPE IN, HAVE FAITH IN, GIVE MY ATTENTION TO, AND SEEK MORE THAN THE LORD. 1 Corinthians 10:14 - "Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry." 1 John 5:21 - "Little children, keep yourselves from idols." Luke 6:38 - "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete withal it shall be measured to you again." WHEN I LET GO OF WHAT IS IN MY HAND, GOD WILL LET GO OF WHAT IS IN HIS HAND. Psalm 96:8 - "Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name: bring an offering, and come into His courts." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. We are entering a new season of a fresh start! We are in a divinely appointed time of refreshing and restoring: "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame" (Joel 2:25-26). This is a new day in which you may boldly declare, "Old things have passed away!" (see Isaiah 48:6-7). GOD OFFERS FORGIVENESS One of the sweetest words in any language is the word forgiven! God promises that even if your sins are red like crimson – bright, obvious, glaring, unmistakable – they have been forgiven, washed white as snow, because of the crimson Blood of Christ (see Isaiah 1:18)! Not just a few sins or a handful of mistakes, but each and every betrayal, sin, and offense is under the Blood of Christ. Each and every mistake is forgotten and erased. It makes no difference how twisted and tangled your life has been or now is: Through the shed Blood of Christ at Calvary, God has made all forgiveness and grace abound toward you! Heaven and earth may pass away, but "His compassions fail not" (Lamentations 3:20-22).Why? Because Christ Jesus already bore our sins and iniquities! "with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." - Isaiah 53:12 GOD FORGETS YOUR PAST Through our repentance, God always makes a way to free us from our past. We take this encouragement to heart -- not letting our past failures keep us from experiencing our future victories! We remember this vital promise: "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death" (Romans 8:1-2 KJV). The Lord has already lavished us with abundant, extravagant forgiveness and grace to empower us to leave behind: every single past sin and failure, the days of regret, doubt and fear, the many missed opportunities and failed relationships, the seasons of backsliding and passivity, the detours of the works of the flesh. As we believe His Word of forgiveness and set our heart to seek the Lord, we will find overwhelming grace and mercies for each day (see Jeremiah 29:12-13). AFFIRMATIONS: I never give up. I never give in again to a mindset of guilt and failure (see Hebrews 10:35). I was created to carry His glory and presence into a lost and dying world. God has confidence in me. (see Deuteronomy 28:13). I am His choice (see Ephesians 2:10), chosen for "such a time as this" (Esther 4:14). GOD REDEEMS YOUR WOUNDS Truly, it was by the stripes of Jesus Christ that we were healed (see Isaiah 53:5). Even the wounds that we have suffered will become great avenues of healing. When we are healed from our wounds -- then we receive grace for healing others! We bring Christ's healing and comfort to others in the areas in which we ourselves have been afflicted (see 1 Thessalonians 5:11). GOD BRINGS BREAKTHROUGH God is even now releasing divine favor to us for accomplishing great exploits for His glory. In Psalm 84:11 (NLT), we learn how He lavishes His blessings of grace and glory: "For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right." Matthew 7:8 AMP -- "For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, the door will be opened." Even if you have not had revelation of God's CALLING on your life, do not lose heart! God is saying, "Try again!" It is time to regroup and try again, knowing that failure is never God's plan (see Jeremiah 29:11). You will see doors open that were closed to you previously. God is granting breakthrough. We experience the overwhelming love and favor of God as you leave the past behind and boldly take hold of the blessings and promises of God! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Genesis 12:1,4 - "Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee. So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him." Abraham may not have known where He was going, but He did know what He was looking for. He left ecverything to be a part of what God was building. This is also our quest, to be a part of what God is doing (our DESTINY). Mark 9:23 - "Jesus said unto him, 'If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.'" If we choose not to heed the leading of the Spirit and become PROACTIVE in renewing our minds, it is possible that we will limit God's power and anointing from flowing through our lives because of UN-RENEWED thinking patterns that we are still embracing. We have the potential to believe impossibilities into possibilities. Let's break the bondage of a passive spirit. Let's take up the sword of the Spirit and embrace the fight of faith! Observation: THE ONLY LIMITS I HAVE ARE THE ONES THAT I PLACE UPON MYSELF. Isaiah 26:3 - "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee." PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF CONFLICT, IT IS THE ABSENCE OF INNER CONFLICT. Romans 8:6 - "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace". Galatians 5:22 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. "For we are HIS workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10 Whether or not you feel you are fulfilling your destiny, you are being prepared by the King of kings for His good purposes. You were chosen by God and have been given a divine DESTINYin eternities past. Why? The Lord is CALLING you to partner with Him to shape the future of the Kingdom of God (see 2 Corinthians 6:1,2: "And working together with Him......now is the acceptable time.")! This seems almost too marvelous to be true, but it is the Word of God. What does it mean to be "HIS workmanship"? The Greek term translated workmanship is"poiema", from which we derive the English word poem. Indeed, we are God's poem, written in ages past to be a living testimony of His presence on earth (see Psalm 139:16-17). Without exception, every Believer has been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has ordained for us. REVELATION OF ANOINTING The desperate cry of many Believers is: "Oh, Lord, let Your works appear unto Your people" (see Psalm 90:16-17). The good news is that God's anointing rests upon upright followers of Jesus, and we will fulfill His purposes on earth. God has not only ordained good works for us, but He has also provided the grace we need to perform these works (see Philippians 4:13). We all have "an unction to function." Each one of us is anointed to fulfill the purposes of God (see Acts 1:8). As we move deeper into this season of sensitivity and revelatory enlightenment, we must step into our CALLING and DESTINY -- fixing our eyes on Jesus and Him alone. Only in His light do we see light (see Psalm 36:9). Only in His presence do we obtain a happy, holy heart (see Psalm 16:11). LEADERS WITH PURE HEARTS Divinely appointed leaders are emerging who have a single heart's goal to establish the King in His Kingdom on earth. Christ Jesus will have for Himself a people prepared to do greater works (see John 14:12). This is not a time for any Believer or leader in the Body of Christ to be humdrum, expecting only what we have seen and experienced before. We have never been where we are going now (see Joshua 3:4). We all must prepare for what is ahead: The call to embrace the awe of Almighty God. A wonderful, reverential fear of the Lord is returning to the people of God, releasing the wisdom of God (see Psalm 111:10). The hearts and lives of millions are going to be touched and transformed by the power of God during these days, as God's people return to a radical love for Christ and action regarding God's PURPOSE for their life supported by that love. REVELATION AND STRATEGIES The Spirit of Truth is releasing revelatory insights for all who are willing to hear Him with a heart set to obey what He is requesting (see James 1:22). Prepare to see an acceleration of the advancing of God's plans and purposes. God will have a people of purity and power, who live, move (initiating action instead of complacency), and have a revelation of their DESTINY in Christ. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. Exodus 23:30 - "Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land." God is unleashing something fresh from Heaven for you. Break out of your Great Depression of the past. It is a new season of provision and vision! God is blasting you into your future. His dream for you is greater than yours. Not one person in the Scriptures was mentally ready to step into what God told them, outside of Jesus. Each had to be blasted into their future, by His words and presence. There Will Be Resistance, But Angelic Assistance Will Prevail! Get ready to leave with the wealth of Egypt for your future! They received what had been robbed from their generations! There is a generational payback coming to those who will rise up and break the bondage. The giants are larger, and so are the victories! GOD HAS PREPARED A DESTINY FOR US Exodus 23:20 - "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared." There is a DESTINY God has prepared for you. God is sending angels to guard your journey. There will be resistance, but angelic assistance will prevail! It will take an angel to get you there. The word given to the Israelites to increase was to prepare them to receive their Promised Land. They did not increase and they missed what God had prepared for them. We must increase to participate in what God has for us. The anointing for increase is on you. You must increase to possess what is yours! What is waiting for you is awesome! The INCREASE of men and women in the Bible ignited in encounters with God: They saw Him larger. They saw themselves larger in God. They believed what God said and acted on it. They went past their past. Increase! KEY STRATEGIES TO ENTER THE PROMISED LAND 1. Get rid of everything that causes spiritual decrease: a. Fear. b. Unbelief. c. Doubt. d. Break through the limitations that you have accepted. 2. Obedience/Discipline: a. Every champion knows the work/discipline involved in victory. 3. Find the scriptures that show you who you are in Him -- Declare those scriptures out loud putting your name in them. 4. Ask God to show you what is your Promised Land. 5. Identify the giants. Identify yourself as a Joshua. 6. Get past the greatness of the past season and those who are no longer there to make it happen for you. Like Joshua, it is your turn. 7. Get past every dead issue and grief. 8. Believe what God has said about you and start acting on it NOW! 9. Keep His presence strong in your life. 10. Let the next breakthrough be a stepping stone, not a stopping place. 11. Plan as if you could not fail. Press the plan. 12. Pray with the expectation that you will receive. 13. Realize it is the Father's pleasure to give you the Kingdom, and you're part of it. 14. Be thankful for every step of the way and watch Him make a way where there is none. 15. Believe in the gifts and anointing God has placed in your life which will cause you to reach your DESTINY. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. 1 Corinthians 9:24 - "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but only one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain." Our lives cannot be like "teeter-totters" that shift one way, then go the other way. We have a DESTINY! Divine focus is an essential element that steers us like the rudder does a ship into the place of consistent lives before His Presence. Imagine a ship that is constantly going off course. It may get back on course over and over again but so much time is wasted. That is why Paul tells us to run the race "to win". There is a way that we run that causes us to have victory. It is not enough to be on the course, we must be ON course the entire way. To the level that we maintain our FOCUS, we will also maintain consistency establishing the Throne of God in the earth through that CALLING of God on our life. Affirmations: I MUST OBTAIN THE PRIZE. I MUST FULFILL THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH I WAS BORN. I MUST ACHIEVE THE PLAN OF GOD FOR MY LIFE. Romans 8:37 - "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." Affirmations: I EXPECT TO CONQUER AND MASTER ANY OBSTACLE I FACE TODAY. JESUS MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. I NEVER SAY ANYTHING I DON’T WANT SATAN TO BELIEVE. Romans 5:3,4 - "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope." Jesus did not come to deliver us from our problems, but from ourselves. He did not come to change our circumstances - He came to change us. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  16. John 3:21 - "He that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." Affirmation: I stay alive to His Word and keep His Word bright by keeping it first in my life, regardless of what happens. When people fail, it doesn't mean the word failed, it means someone failed the Word. John 17:17 - "Sanctify them through thy truth; thy Word is truth." 1 Timothy 4:7,8 - "Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness; for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come." You are divinely prepared to accomplish the task God has assigned you. You can do something no other human being can do. You have been chosen by Christ, for Christ; the choice was made before the foundation of the world (see Ephesians 1:4). Knowing this promise will release you from rejection and depression. Power is released through discipline. The goal is to finish the course and to be able to say with all confidence, "I've kept the faith and stayed on course, accomplishing the task set before me." It is to that individual Christ will say, "Well done, good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:21). Affirmation: I DISCIPLINE MYSELF IN CHRIST SO THAT I WILL ACCOMPLISH THINGS THAT WILL BEAR ETERNAL FRUIT. Romans 4:17 - "Even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were." Affirmation: I CANNOT BE WHAT I AM NOT BUT I CAN BECOME WHAT I AM NOT. 17. 1 Peter 2:9 -- "For you have been chosen by God Himself -- you are priests of the King, you are holy and pure, you are God's very own -- all this so that you may show to others how God called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light." We know we are a priesthood, chosen by God, possessed by God, holy like God and royal to God. We have immediate access to Him and we don't need a human priest as a mediator because our Heavenly Father provided one Mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ. We have direct access to God, through God. CALLED TO MINISTER Now we're certainly not chosen, possessed, and holy to do nothing and to live mediocre lives. Of course not! We're called to minister in the presence of God, to live an active role in His presence. Our lives are a priestly service through: 1. Holy intercession, and 2. DISCIPLING new believers into their inheritance in Christ. WE ARE LIFE GIVING PRIESTS Romans 12:1 -- "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." As priests we are to serve God no matter what our vocation. Not because we have to, but because we want to! And, there is not one vocation that is more "sacred" than another because Christ is Lord over all. His Word applies to all. The Word does not say that ministry is "sacred" and other vocations are "secular." Life itself is sacred. God is life and all Believers are life giving priests. Because we are royal priests we are called into royal service, to be a wonderful message to the world! We have been commissioned to display His nature, His kindness, His goodness, and HIS MINISTRY to a world that needs to know Him. We can bear the burdens of others and we are the go-between for them before God. We identify with the weak, helpless, fear-filled, unborn, sick, poverty stricken, homeless, hungry, depressed, and spiritually destitute. We ask on their behalf, in faith, believing. Then, as the Father gives direction, we GO and minister to them and His power becomes available to set them free. EQUIPPED FOR DISCIPLESHIP As soon as we're saved we are to be discipled so we can be disciples doing what Jesus did. Then, we GO and equip more disciples (Matthew 28). We move out of the church building into the works of the Kingdom! AFFIRMATIONS; I am not designed to drift -- I am designed for destiny. I seek God for my destiny, and don't lose sight of the heavenly vision. I carry within me the resurrection power of Christ -- I have the power to BECOME. I am ready to expand my reality and become the destiny for which I have been predestined. "Do not change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to Him and what is perfect." - Romans 12:2 NCV Sometimes the events of life seem to distance us from the awareness of His presence an we feel cast into a wilderness. In the wilderness, we tend to tune into the bitter past of life rather than the sweetness. However, it is in the wilderness that God speaks most clearly and opens the portals of heavenly revelation. "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of His CALLING...." - Ephesians 1: 17,18 We can position our hearts to become an open portal to Heaven -- where God infuses us with His presence and revelation abounds -- flowing to us and through us. Like Moses' encounter with the burning bush, new direction often becomes clearer in the wilderness and DESTINY unfolds through the oddest signs along the trail. As we move into the sweetness of His presence, we exit the wilderness of circumstance. REACHING THE CENTRAL PLACE OF OUR INWARD WALK By not speaking, desiring, nor reasoning, we reach the central place of the inward walk -- that place where God speaks to our inward man. It is there that God communicates Himself to our spirit. "For God alone my soul waits in silence." - Psalm 62:1 We recall that Jacob wrestled with the Lord all night, until daybreak? THEN it was when the Lord blessed him. We persevere against any and all difficulties which confront us in our seeking the Lord's presence in our spirit. We are steadfast until the Lord gives our spirit His blessing. Job 26:14 - "And these are but the out fringe of His works; how faint the whisper we hear of Him! Who then can understand the thunder of His power?" A revelation of the thunder of His power catapults us out of our wildernesses, shatters the realms of darkness and releases the awe of God through signs and wonders -- through us as we walk in His authority. As our heart becomes an open portal of His love -- the awe of His power thunders around us and we find ourselves walking IN THE FULLNESS of Him, not just alongside of Him; carrying this authority to release the realm of Heaven on earth. AFFIRMATION: My heart is a portal for His love. PRAYER: Father, I abandon myself to You. You love in me Your only begotten Son. You see Him in me. You embrace Him in me, because He has willed to identify Himself completely with me by that love which brought Him to death, for me, on the Cross. Amen ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  18. Psalm 91:1 -- "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty." Jesus lived a life of of prayer, and when He needed dedicated prayer time He would send crowds and, most likely, potential resources away so that He could be with the Father. As a result He would not move, speak, or do anything that the Father did not ask Him to do. Our talking and listening to the Father should be a continuum or seamless activity. When we are in conversation with anyone we should ask the Lord, "Father, what do you want me to hear?" and "Father, how would you desire me to respond?" When we are consciously doing this the Lord will do astounding things and we are giving God glory in many more conversations and releasing His love more abundantly to others. Prayer is really for us to connect with Him, His nature, and for a conduit of His peace, love and joy to flow through us, but we must participate and engage relationally with Him in order for His presence to manifest through our lives in power. Psalm 62:1,5 -- "Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from Him cometh my salvation. My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him." Prayer is tuning everything else out so we can hear from Him. When prayer is foundational and we allow His will to supersede our will we begin to develop vision -- as vision expands we commence to see our DESTINY (the purpose of God for our life). PRAYER PRINCIPLES TO CONNECT WITH OUR DESTINY: 1. To be successful in our vision, we must have a daily, dynamic prayer life with God. 2. We will never achieve our destiny without prayer because prayer is what keeps us connected to the Vision-Giver. 3. Prayer encourages us to get back in the fight of faith. 4. As prayer is the essential resource of vision, we remain connected to our Source for the renewal of our purpose, faith, strength, and PERSEVERANCE. 5. God is the One who planted our life's PURPOSE within us in the beginning. He has invested Himself in our dream and as we are obedient and stay committed He will bring our DESTINY to pass. Matthew 7:7,8 -- "Keep on asking and it will be given to you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, the door will be opened."(NAS) Hebrews 12:1 -- "(We must) run with patience the particular race that God has set before us." Philippians 3:14 -- "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  19. 1 Samuel 3:1 -- "In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions." If Eli could not hear from God, the people would not receive messages from Him. The only words that we receive that are of help to people are words from God. If we don't spend time LISTENING to Him, then we will not receive words by which we will bless and encourage His people. 1 Samuel 3:7 -- "Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him." He'd never heard God speak, but he still enjoyed His presence. We need to hear from God; we need to hear the word of the Lord. We can only hear from God if we spend time with Him. We can only hear from Him if we have a relationship with Him. Our relationship to God is the most important thing in our lives, therefore we need to give it the utmost care. Psalm 91:1 -- "He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High God, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." EXPERIENCING EVIDENCE OF HIS PRESENCE There is a secret place inside us where God dwells, where we abide with Him in the Spirit. In that secret place, we will experience the evidence of His presence with us. We have the greatest calling to fulfill in the universe: to live out our DESTINY in Christ with God's power living and working through us. The secret place is not a physical place like it was in Samuel's day. Our secret place is in our own hearts. We can go anywhere and still focus on Him in our spirit and be in the secret place of the Most High. We might be at work, yet we can enter into the presence of the Lord by simply going to the quiet place in our spirit and find Him there waiting for us. It is in this place where the Lord speaks and we listen. In the secret place is where we will find God's earthly purpose (DESTINY) for our life. Samuel had never heard God until he spent time in His presence. They developed a relationship with each other. Samuel became one with God; they became friends. As we develop friendship with God, then He can show us how to love others. As we are first filled with the power to truly love others by loving Him and by receiving His love for us we will come to realize our need to DISCIPLE other believers. This only comes through our communion with Christ. We need to hear the voice of the Lord! We need to hear His voice now more distinctly than ever before, because we need a personal revelation of our CALLING in Christ. SEEKING "OUT OF THE BOX" Eli had gotten used to residing in his "usual place" in the house of God. We, too, can get too used to our relationship with God the way it is. But God wants us to come out away from our "usual place" and seek Him afresh and anew -- to turn from all else and seek only Him. He wants to infuse us with His love in a new way. AFFIRMATIONS: I resolve to get to know Him in a fresh way and experience new aspects of His character -- to experience new facets of His love. As I abide in the secret place in silence I lift up my heart to Him in love and experience the communion of His presence. As I receive His love in my heart my capacity to love others is enlarged. 20. Jeremiah 29:11-14 - "For i know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord. thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." John 10:27 - "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." It is important to know where we are called to be, who we are called to be with, and what we are called to do (our DESTINY) and how we are to implement the things that God is calling us to. We can fast, pray, strive and do all kinds of spiritual works, but if we are out of alignment, all these things may not have the full impact on our lives that we desire. Sometimes we just need to find out what that one thing is that God is requiring of us. It is usually one thing, not many. God will bring us into a place of utter contentment in His Presence as we come close to the Comforter, Holy Spirit. This implies a life-style of "Walking In The Spirit"; THREE REQUIREMENTS TO WALKING IN THE SPIRIT: Romans 6:11 - "Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus." (1. Consider myself dead to sin.) Ephesians 4:23-24 - "And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." (2. I have to "PUT ON" walking in the Spirit.) ie. I make the decision each day to be led by my spirit rather than my soul (mind, will, and emotions). I walk with my spirit being led by the Holy Spirit. Romans 12:2 - "And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." (3. I have to renew my mind to the word of God.) BREAKING THROUGH TO THE NEXT LEVEL 2 Peter 1:4 "By which we have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." We are called to be sons and daughters of God. As we grow we learn the truth of our inheritance and walk in His promises as mature sons of God. There are SPIRITUAL IMPEDIMENTS that arise in our lives that come to lie, steal and betray us. God is going to eliminate these impediments out of our thinking as we lay hold of the inheritance (affirming, meditating on, and visualizing the precious promises that are ours in Christ) that He paid the price for us to walk in. It is as if we are stuck at a certain level and cannot break through into the next until these impediments are removed. If we tolerate these impediments we become partakers of the nature of the enemy. It is part of the process that our soul goes through in that we must be cleansed of the nature of evil and embrace the nature and life of the Holy Spirit. UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS Example: There are relationships that steal and have only selfish intent -- these will leech the life and anointing off of you. The Lord is going to help us remove these impediments out of our lives as we yield to His heart's desires and ways; He will give us wisdom to know the difference. When we are in proper alignment there is much more ease and grace to accomplish what God calls us to. Sometimes God is speaking and showing us what we need to do, but we just keep doing our spiritual routines rather than the one thing He desires from us. We will find much more grace when we simply yield to that one thing and silence the noise of all the activities. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  21. DRAWING NEAR It is His desire that we move closer – reposition ourselves to "draw near." And, in an intimate relationship He will speak to us concerning mysteries. BATTLE AGANIST UNBELIEF If you recall, Jeremiah could not see his future until God "touched his mouth." The word "touched" is the Greek word "naga" (Strongs 5060)and implies that God struck the unbelief that had held Jeremiah's faith captive.
  22. Ephesians 5:14-18 - "Wake up from your sleep, and arise from the dead, And Christ shall shine upon you. Live life with a due sense of responsibility, not as men who do not know the meaning of life but as those who do. Make the best use of your time, despite all the evils of these days. Don't be vague but grasp firmly what you know to be the will of the Lord." As believers, we are instructed to live our daily lives with a sense of our unique divine DESTINY supported by goals and aims. YIELDING OUR WILL 2 Corinthians 12:9 - "And he said unto me, "my grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." As we yield our wills and ways to the control of God's Holy Spirit, we begin to experience the walk of grace, as Jesus lives His life through us. "I AM THE VOICE OF ONE" John 1:23 - "John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, 'I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way for the Lord'." Each one of us should come to the place where we also could make this statement, "I am the voice of One." There is an immediate need for this voice to cry out in the midst of the frustrations and perils of our present day. We need to stand in the manifest presence of the Lord to be prepared as the "voice of one crying in the wilderness" of our day. FINCH MINISTRY
  23. 1 Kings 19:9 - "Then he came there to a cave and lodged there; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and He said to him, 'What are you doing here, Elijah?'” So the word of the Lord came to him “what are you doing here Elijah”. This is one of the most important questions God will ever ask us. His questions probes the reality of our spiritual state. He is asking “how did your service to me become dry and desolate?” He wants us to know that when we fail to esteem Him as our first love, we will always find that a desert awaits us. God never intended for religion. He intended to have a people called by His name to steward, be productive, and carry His presence to those around us and to the nations. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: 1. Does sitting in a church service each week hearing a good message and worshipping together give me all of what I need? 2. Am I living my experience of being part of the Church through two hours on Sunday and maybe a home cell group on Wednesday evening ie. is this the only thing that defines my spiritual development in the Kingdom? 3. Am I active in my thoughts and communications with the Father in my everyday life? 4. Am I being transformed by His presence? 5. Am I "asking, knocking, and seeking" to discover my destiny in Christ? 6. Am I personally discipling others to equip them for discipling new Christians in the Church body? 7. Do I believe that I can change the world? Luke 16:16 - "The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it." This realm of God’s Spirit does not come without “pressing” – without contending. The first thing about pressing is seeking. Pressing into it means there is a passionate pursuit of God in prayer. The word “to seek” means to diligently look for and search out earnestly until the object of the search is located. It is as crying out and hungering for the presence of God. AFFIRMATIONS: God is bringing my life to a new beginning. I press into and lay hold of the kingdom of heaven in an aggressive way. I have a burning heart of fiery witness and passion when it comes to exhorting others in their walk with God. I repent from trying to do God's will without abiding in His presence. 24. Exodus 14:11,12 - "They said to Moses, 'Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt...It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!'" There was something comforting about the past that the Israelites preferred at this point to the unknown dilemma of future freedom. It would seem they were so afraid of the unknown that they might even have been willing to settle for second best and remain in an oppressed lifestyle rather than face the trial of exodus. SURRENDER SELF-PITY TO GOD 1. One of the most effective ways to destroy the habit of feeling sorry for one's self, is first of all to focus on God and start affirming the promises of God promised to you in scripture (your inheritance in Christ). Then, purpose to think about other people. 2. Ask God to give you someone that you can help with their spiritual needs -- and go minister to them -- tell them about Jesus -- look after them and take an interest in their spiritual development. 3. Let go of the past and move into new opportunities to discover our CALLING andDESTINY in Christ. Even though our enemy will use fear of the unknown to overwhelm us and cause us to lose courage, we must endeavour to maintain a bold faith in the face of adversity. 4. STANDING AND STILLNESS IN WARFARE IS STRATEGY Exodus14:13,14 - "And Moses said unto the people, 'Fear Ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever.'" Ephesians 6: 10,14 - "Finally, my bretheren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness." When we stand firm, God enables us to overcome our enemy in His truth. We quickly discover in spiritual skirmishes that God's authority is truly indisputable and the enemy must bow the knee to the King of kings. God said that the people would never have to face the enemy they faced that day again. In other words, the battles we win today remain future victories. By faith we can maintain ground taken without having to fight the same battle twice. Furthermore, we do not need to revisit old wounds: what God has healed, He has healed. Ongoing introspection has no place in a people whose focus is the Lord. 5. REACH OUT "Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.'" Exodus 14:15-16 There is a time to stand and a time to move. If we don't discern a new season with God's instruction to "move on," our past has then the potential to be used as a "crutch" - meaning it remains a familiar comfort zone and a possible stumbling block to the new things God has for us. Our authority in Christ raises itself as a banner of victory over our circumstances, situations and any and all intimidation and enemy assault. We must do our part, like Moses, in learning to exercise our God-given authority over our circumstances. Moses raised his staff, commanding what stood before God's people in the natural environment to be aligned with Heaven. He then stretched the staff out as a gesture of faith in ACTION. Similarly, we have to do our bit to engage by faith and believe that Jesus' finished work on the cross will deliver every area of our lives into total freedom. In this way we will experience Kingdom transformation and acceleration of DESTINY! QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: 1. Am I happy in my confort zone or do I really want to change -- that is, reach for the earthly DESTINY God has for me. 2. How many people am I presently discipling? Am I equipping these people to disciple others so they can advance the "Great Commision"? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  25. "Delight yourself in the LORD; and He will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." - John 14:13 He is pulling you away from the old, and taking you under the water into the unknown for a time of being unseen and unheard, for a "deeper depth" experience with Him. LET THE HOLY SPIRIT PROPEL YOU FORWARD You will often feel like you are going backwards, but in reality you're being propelled forward into a greater spiritual growth. The tendency is to strive in a forward motion much like you've always done, but soon you realize that you're no match for the current of the Lord's strength. This is not the enemy doing this! God is asking you to let go of what you "thought" was of Him. Humble yourself and flow in the direction the Holy Spirit is drawing you into. God is asking you to not judge things by your natural eyesight. God is doing something bigger than you can see right now. Yes, He's about to blow your paradigm and expand your destiny consciousness. What's the purpose of this? He is preparing to set you up to ride on top of the next big move of His Spirit, but you have to let go of the old to receive the new. God is going to lift you up on the top of this wave with greater speed, accuracy, and impact, than the one you were previously on. Let go and receive a greater commission! See with the eyes of your spirit man, not the eyes of your flesh. It's time to graduate and go to the next level! It's time to put on the new wine skins fully and receive the infilling of new strength, vigor, and faith. God is getting ready to set you up to ride the wave of your lifetime! Isaiah 42:9,10 - " Behold the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things;......sing to the Lord a new song, sing His praise from the end of the earth! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
