  1. No one wants to make another trip through the wilderness. This is not a time to walk in circles. We are to walk with a true goal, aim, and purpose, making the most of each occasion, because we know the time is short (see Ephesians 5:14-17). Paul, the apostle, instructs us to walk purposefully toward one true goal -- God's PURPOSE for our life (see Philippians 3:12-16). Unless we enter into our eternal identities (our DESTINY), we will not become instruments for noble purposes. We will not be useful to God. "We are workers together with God." - 2 Corinthians 6:1 THE VOICE OF GOD The Holy Spirit is opening the ears of believers to hear more clearly the Voice of God. All who are seeking to hear will hear the Lord's voice clearly. "Be still and know that He is God" (see Psalm 46:10-11). Behold the Heavens--they will clearly speak the Lord's message. The release of revelation will increase, therefore, we ask for our spiritual ears and eyes to be opened (see Ephesians 1:17-18). WE ARE IN CHRIST God does not see us in ourselves - He sees us in Christ. He does not see us, He sees Christ in us. If we really believed that, we would be delivered from ourselves and would indeed be triumphant Christians. All life is growth. This is especially true of the spiritual life. It continually grows. To stand still, to look back is death. Can you feel the depth of God’s heart calling to you in this season? Can you feel the depth of your spirit desiring Him more than your next breath? Launch out, and launch into Him. It is in this place that your wilderness becomes a fruitful field. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. Psalm 78: 9-11 - "The sons of Ephraim were archers equipped with bows, yet they turned back in the day of battle. They did not keep the covenant of God and refused to walk in His law; they forgot His deeds and His miracles that He had shown them." The apostle John wrote, "They overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death" (Rev. 12:11). The elements of victory are recounted to us in this passage. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb: This means we no longer fight FOR victory but we fight FROM victory. Winning is assured when we enter the battle. Matthew 11:12 - "Violent men take the Kingdom by force." It is to be understood that our battles are to be the manifestations of His victory. The ultimate challenge is not the battle itself but the decision to participate. Notice that the "armor of God" in Ephesians Chapter 6 has no protection for your back. We are ill-equipped for retreat. Affirmations: MY MOST FEARFUL STUMBLING BLOCK IS ACTUALLY THE DOOR TO MY GREATEST VICTORY. I HAVE THE COURAGE TO ADVANCE IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY. MY PROMISED LAND (MY DESTINY) LIES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF FEAR. Just because we walk and talk does not mean we are truly awake. Zechariah was sleeping when an angel roused him "as a man who is awakened from his sleep" (Zechariah 4:1). Perhaps we too need to be shaken from our slumber to possess the promises of God! Jesus said there is a mysterious drowsiness that we have to overcome. Indeed, immediately after highlighting the evidences of the end (see Matthew 24), He compares the Church to virgins who "all got drowsy and began to sleep" (Matthew 25:5).various "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him..that you will know what is the hope of His calling....and the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe...and He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave...to the church...the fullness of Him who fills all in all" - Ephesians 1:17-19,22,23 Become His hands, become His feet, become His voice wherever you are. Listen for the stillness of His Spirit. Recognize the unction of His Spirit, for you are being lifted up and in a high level. Be not called into isolation, for the enemy would lead you there. For he would make you feel forsaken and abandoned. He does not forsake you, He does not abandonyou; but He cherishes you, and He treasures you.trained "Your fidelity to Christ...that you are also wise in what is good and innocent of what is bad...the God of peace will soon crush Satan beneath your feet." - Romans 16:19,20 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. Luke 17:20,21 - And when He was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." The word "observation" in verse 20 literally means to stand beside and watch. This accurately describes the posture of many who are looking for a rescue or a revival. They stand beside as life passes by and watch passively for the Lord to move sovereignly. Jesus told the Pharisees that the kingdom of God would not come when they stood by and watched for it. He then told them the kingdom of God was within them. Jesus was saying that the kingdom of God will not come if we are not actively engaged in bringing it. Since the kingdom of God is within us, it is within our power to see it come to pass. The kingdom of God will not come if we are in a passive posture because we are God's agents to bring out the kingdom He has planted within us. Affirmations: I START WORKING WITH THE LORD TO BRING IN THE KINGDOM FROM WITHIN MY SPIRIT WHERE GOD HAS DEPOSITED HIS SPIRIT. THE KINGDOM OF GOD COMES AS I LABOR WITH THE LORD TO BRING IT IN. WHERE THERE IS BARREN LAND, I PLANT; WHERE THERE IS FRUIT, I REAP - I STOP LOOKING FOR THE KINGDOM TO COME FROM WITHOUT. 2 Kings 5:10 - "And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean." Observation: AS I DIP IN THE LIVING WATER OF GOD'S WORD AND SUBMERGE MYSELF IN THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT - THE WORLD WILL SEE AN EVENT THAT TRANSCENDS HUMAN POWER. THEY WILL WONDER AT THE DIVINE INTERVENTION BY GOD INTO MY CIRCUMSTANCES. "Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:12-14 All too many believers are looking back, and not willing to go forward with Him. Until our perspective is right, we will not discern His presence as our Lord and King, or His presentation of the Age to come. 1 Chronicles 12:32 speaks of a company of (spiritually mature) men who had "understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do." Only as we walk with Jesus in expectancy, with purpose and direction, will we be able to understand and rightly relate to the things that are before us. If you feel the inner tug of the Holy Spirit to take you further, and the intense work of the enemy attempting to hinder, His hand is indeed upon you for this new day. Listen to what the Spirit is saying, then set your face as a flint, and begin to walk with Jesus toward this new day. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Matthew 4:17 - From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say. "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." His disciples thought the Kingdom was only for the future, but Jesus said, "No, because I am with you, the Kingdom of heaven is with you. When the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you, the Kingdom will then be in you also." Essentially, the Kingdom of heaven does not refer to physical territory. The Kingdom of heaven is a jurisdiction over which the influence of God has full authority. It is the "breakthrough" point where the Kingdom of God impacts the physical, earthly environment. Affirmations: THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD BECAUSE I LIVE THERE AND THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS IN ME. WHEREVER I GO, AND TO WHEREVER MY INFLUENCE EXTENDS, I BRING THE KINGDOM OF GOD INTO THAT PLACE. I CLAIM AND ASSERT NOW MY AUTHORITY OVER POVERTY, PAIN, SUFFERING, AND TROUBLE AS A SON OF THE KING OF THE UNIVERSE. I EXPERIENCE THE VICTORY THAT IS MINE AS A CITIZEN OF THE KINGDOM. Hebrews 4:12A - "For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword........" The Word of God comes alive when you can picture what it's talking about. If we can let the Word of God control our imagination as we think about scriptures, we will see things in Scripture that can't be seen with the physical eyes. We see it on the inside.....in our imagination. Psalm 103:2,3 - "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth, all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;" When the Bible says you're healed, you've got to meditate on that truth until you see yourself healed. Most people allow their imaginations to become vain and agree with the image the doctors have painted rather that the Word of God. They're told what is going to happen, and they imagine it as truth. Uncover the enemy with praise and thanksgiving, for he comes under the umbrella of murmuring. For is he not called the 'accuser of the brethren?' He accuses, and accuses, and accuses until you stand with your heads down, as one who's been accused and condemned. "Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you." - Isaiah 60:1 You are to arise and to shine. You are not called to hide in the darkness, but you are called 'the light.' You are a living epistle -- alive in His Word and His Word is alive in you? Shake off the darkness. Shake off the negative agreement. Tell the enemy, 'No, get behind me.' Do not hide behind him with murmuring and accusing, one to another, for His Spirit grieves in murmuring. You are sealed by His Spirit. Do not take that lightly. Own it. Live in it. And let His Word do what it was sent to do –- set captives free. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. Matthew 6:26,27 - "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable that they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" Jesus used an analogy from nature to help explain prosperity. Some people interpret this passage to mean that, since God is supposed to take care of them, they don't need to do anything themselves. Therefore, they just wait for God to act. How does God feed birds? He provides for them, but He doesn't personally hand-deliver food to their nests! The birds don't just sit around and wait for God to stop by with their meals. When Jesus said the heavenly Father feeds the birds, He meant that everything they need has been made available for them, but they have to go and get it. God does not build a bird's nest. He provides the twigs. The bird has to find them, pick them up, and bring them back to the tree it has chosen for a home. God does not leave worms on the top of the ground every morning. The bird has to go digging for them. It has to keep working, working, working until it finishes building its nest. It has to keep working, working, working until it gets the worm. Sometimes, God doesn't give us all the resources we need to fulfill our visions because He has called other people to provide them for us. He provides everything, but He provides it after you begin the work of the vision. Your obedience to your vision affects not only your life but also the lives of those who will work with you. Affirmations: GOD WILL SUPPLY MY PROVISION, EVEN IF HE HAS TO HAVE SOMEONE CROSS THE DESERT TO GET IT TO ME. GOD HAS PROVISION FOR ME THAT NO ONE BUT HE KNOWS ABOUT. ALL THE RESOURCES I NEED ARE ALREADY IN PLACE; THEY WILL BECOME VISIBLE IN GOD'S TIMING ONCE I START PURSUING MY VISION. Jude 22: And of some have compassion, making a difference. Affirmation: MY HEART RELEASES THE COMPASSION OF JESUS CHRIST TO HELP DELIVER PEOPLE CAUGHT IN THE DECEPTION OF SIN AND DARKNESS AND SET THEM FREE. "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus" - (Ephesians 2:4-6). As our minds are renewed and our faith grows, we take these realities as fact and live in the light of them. We come to know that we are above our enemies and refuse to walk in the flesh realm but take our place in Christ in the spirit realm. No longer will faith be a struggle, but a normal living in the realm of God. The spiritual realm places man where communion with God is a normal experience. We are not going to grovel in the earthly realm, but we are seated in the heavenly places with the Lord. Every Believer has the right, authority, and ability to minister out of the throne room just as Jesus did. "Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily" - (Colossians 1:28-29). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Job 1:10 - "Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land." As God built a hedge around Job, which limited Satan, so today He will do the same for any child of God who applies the blood to a given situation. The blood is the hedge that stops the Destroyer. Revelation 12:11 - "And they overcame him by the BLOOD of the Lamb and by the WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY, and they did not love their lives to the death." Exodus 12:7,13 - "And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side-posts and on the upper door post of the houses....And the blood shall be to you and for a token upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt." Confessions: I OVERCOME ALL FEAR, DEPRESSION, UNBELIEF, WAVERING AND HALFHEARTEDNESS, DISCOURAGEMENT, TEMPTATION, AND SICKNESS BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS AND THE WORD OF MY TESTIMONY. MY SOUL IS FILLED WITH LOVE AS I GAZE ON JESUS' PRECIOUS BLOOD. BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF THE BLOOD IN MY HEART, I APPLY THE BLOOD WITH MY MOUTH OVER THE DOORPOSTS OF MY LIFE. Luke 5:4 - "When Jesus had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, 'Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."' Luke 5 is a great example of the Church in our day. We have been fishing all night and have not caught much. Many of us have not ventured out of the shallow water, out of the zones of safety and comfortableness, to find the fish where they are. The fish are in the deep water; they are outside the Church, and outside our opinions and prejudices. As we are obedient to God's call and venture into the deep water and into relationships with people "on the streets," we will be overwhelmed by the response and will need to network with other churches to accommodate the great numbers of people who will come to Jesus. Matthew 4:19 - And Jesus said unto them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." "Then, knowing what lies ahead for you, you won't become bored with being a Christian, nor become spiritually dull and indifferent, but you will be anxious to follow the example of those who receive all that God has promised them because of their strong faith and patience." - Hebrews 6:12 (Living Bible) Now is the time to press into the Lord for Fresh Empowerment and Activation for harvest in the coming season. We need to see a tremendous outpouring of the Power of the Holy Spirit for our current Time. As we go into this season we pray to see a notable increase in the Power of the Lord from the Fire of His Presence that will cause many to turn to Him. We need to pray for these seven blessings: 1. Greater Power 2. Greater Anointing 3. Greater Favor 4. Greater Flow of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit 5. Greater Evidence of the Fruit of the Spirit 6. Greater Doors and Influence through the favor of the Lord. 7. Greater Harvest Albert Finch Ministry
  7. Matthew 16:19 - "Whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." God has always wanted to release truth to His people, backed by the Word, of things that are found in heaven but have no earthly parallel. Jesus said: "If I have told you of earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you of heavenly things?" (John 3:12)have He was expressing a desire to reveal things to us about what's happening in the spiritual realm that have no corresponding earthly picture. Isaiah 9:7 - "Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end........." As His government increases in the earth, the Church will receive more and more revelation as we are engulfed in His glory. Affirmations: I COME INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE FATHER TO RELEASE ME INTO THE THINGS HE HAS PREDESTINED ME FOR SINCE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD. I HUNGER FOR AND RECEIVE REVELATION AS PART OF MY EVERYDAY LIFE. THAT REVELATION WILL HELP ME CARRY OUT MY EARTHLY ASSIGNMENTS WITH GREATER PRECISION AND WISDOM. John 1:1,14 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only-begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." Observation: IN MY LIFE GOD'S WORD BECOMES FLESH -- MY FLESH! "I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how He will answer my complaint. Then the Lord said to me, 'Write My answer plainly on tablets"....... - Habakkuk 2:1,2 We stand at our appointed posts as watchmen, ready for anything. We get away from external distractions, as Jesus did when he withdrew before dawn to isolated locations (see Mark 1:35). Quieting our internal noise, we watch to see what God may want to say: "Be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10). When we hear something, we do something—write it down, pray from it, sound an alarm—whatever is appropriate. It is also easier to hear God's voice when you are performing automatic, mindless tasks such as driving the car, showering, exercising, washing the dishes or cleaning the house, especially if you are quietly praising God at the same time. He is more eager to speak to you than you are to hear from Him. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. Matthew 16:19 - "Whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." 9. John 15:5 - "I am the vine; you are the branches......apart from Me you can do nothing." We were born to consult God to find out His purpose for our lives so that we can discover our vision. Revelation 1:8 - "I am the Alpha and the Omega." God is not only the Author of our vision but also our continuing Support as we progress toward its fulfillment. Prayer is what keeps us connected to the Vision-Giver. Prayer is where we receive the ability to continue the fight. Isaiah 40:31 - "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." When you have been pressed, criticized, and opposed, you can become weak in faith. When people attack your dream, you go to God. You don't try to explain and give an answer for everything because you can't explain anything to critics. Their motives are already contaminated, and they'll use your words against you. Through prayer, God encourages us to get back out in the fight of faith. Psalm 27:1 - "The Lord is my light and my salvation - who shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?" Affirmations: SINCE I STAY CONNECTED TO GOD FOR THE RENEWAL OF MY PURPOSE, FAITH, AND STRENGTH - I WILL BE ABLE TO PERSEVERE TO VICTORY. I BASE MY PRAYERS ON GOD'S WORD TO BRING ME THROUGH DIFFICULTIES AND GIVE ME THE VICTORY THAT IS MINE. I STAY IN TOUCH WITH GOD SO THAT I AM NOURISHED IN BOTH LIFE AND VISION. "But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the LORD's victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the LORD is with you!" - 2 Chronicles 20:17 God is the God of the breakthrough, but He uses our hands if you do your part, He will do His. Breakthrough happens when we take the first offensive step against the barriers in our life. Breakthrough happens when we say, "I m going to trust that God is going to supernaturally do the impossible." There is no progress without resistance: There is a spiritual battle over your breakthrough. We can only win the battle in the spirit. Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared to believe that something inside of them was superior to their circumstances. His name is Jesus. The voice of God is the master key to your supernatural breakthrough. Hear it and speak it. Agree with the decree. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. John 8 Jesus said "you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free" John 14 "I am the way the Truth and the life" In your POV - does Truth matter? We know that a big gap in Truth - can be found between Christianity and Paganism, or Christianity and Hinduism etc. But we also know that not all Christian denominations agree on all points of doctrine. In theory none of them agree on "all points" of doctrine or the various ones that do - are redundant/unnecessary. So then it is common that we hear that "Doctrine does not really matter that much as long as everyone gets along". And of course - I am all for everyone getting along!! But still - not so comfortable with "doctrine does not really matter"
  11. Hebrews 11:1 - "Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things that you cannot see." The scripture says that "For we walk by faith, and not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7). We must never let what our eyes see determine what our hearts believe. In other words, we are to walk according to what is in our hearts. We are to let what is in our hearts dictate how we see life. Physical sight is the ability to see things as they are. Vision is the capacity to see things as they should be, and that takes faith. Vision is in the heart. Faith is seeing the future in the present. Affirmations: THE WORD DICTATES WHAT IS IN MY HEART. THE VISIONS IN MY HEART IS GREATER THAN MY ENVIRONMENT. GOD GAVE ME VISION SO I WOULD NOT HAVE TO LIVE BY WHAT I SEE. Matthew 24:4 - Jesus answered them, "Be careful that no one misleads you." If we are listening to something that does not center us firmly upon the path into God's kingdom, if we are not becoming like Jesus in holiness and power, we are being misled, and that misleading knowledge is an idol. l Affirmations: THE LORD WANTS ME TO BE ROOTED IN HIM, NOT ROOTED IN MY IDEA ABOUT HIM. I MUST BE CONFIDENT ENOUGH OF HIS LOVE TO BE ABLE TO UPROOT A WRONG IDEA; AN IDOL IS AN IDOL. Just as Jeremiah was given the ability to "see" his new season (see Jeremiah 1:4-12), we are present-day Jeremiahs – having our eyes opened to understand and know all that God has formed for us (our future and DESTINY) has been preserved. It is His desire that we move closer – reposition ourselves to "draw near." And, in an intimate relationship He will speak to us concerning mysteries. It is time to "Set your mind of the things above, not on the things that are on the earth, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:2-3). It is your season to be as Jeremiah and allow God to touch your mouth so that you are empowered to see and confess all that Heaven says about God's PURPOSE for your life, your circumstances, and your future! If you recall, Jeremiah could not see his future until God "touched his mouth." The word "touched" is the Greek word naga and implies that God struck the unbelief that had held Jeremiah's faith captive. The word also implies a "violent act." Think about this a moment. God did a violent act against Jeremiah's unbelief. God, Himself, went to battle against Jeremiah's mindsets concerning his abilities to be used by God (see Jeremiah 1:1-12). The finished work at the Cross promises you a new season. Jeremiah was able to "see" an almond branch budding. The almond branch is the first branch to bloom in a new season. SEE your NEW season! 12. Many Believers live in fear of the powers of darkness. Many are plagued by the spirit of suicide and death, discouragement and depression, sickness, lack, poverty, and failure. Many are caught in the vicious cycle of defeat, circling around the valleys of despair and can't seem to find their way out. Many have been oppressed by the enemy for a prolonged period of time. It's been many years and many seasons of great grief and loss. You've been under such a weight of the enemy you couldn't break the chains off. You've prayed, you've seen counselors, you've tithed, you've done everything you know to do and your strength is depleting. Some are plagued by consistent nightmares and bad dreams that leave you waking up in a cold sweat. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." - Hebrews 13:8 Declare that today is the day of your salvation and deliverance! Declare today a severance from every assignment of the enemy over your life! Freedom is now! Break every shackle and every chain now! "You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for FREEDOM DECLARATIONS: • In Christ, I have been made alive, raised together, and seated together in the heavenly places! you; And light will shine on your ways." - Job 22:28 • In Christ, I live on a higher plane and every power, principality, dominion, and throne is under my feet! • In Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I break every spirit of fear, failure, lack, poverty, sickness, diseases, suicide and death, depression and discouragement! You have to scatter and flee! • In Christ, every shackle and chain are broken and my spirit is free! • In Christ, today is my day of salvation and deliverance. Freedom is now! Freedom is mine! I take it back! • Fill me up Holy Spirit! From today onwards, I live in authority, truth, power, and victory. I will never be the same again! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. Exodus 4:2-4 - "And the Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod. And He said, Cast it on the ground. And he did so and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the Lord said to Moses, Put forth your hand and take it by the tail. And he stretched out his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand." Moses' rod became a serpent. A serpent was the symbol of royal and cultic powers. A serpent was placed on the crown of every Pharaoh because it was the mark of sovereignty. God was showing Moses that He was going to give him authority. One of the Egyptians' gods was a serpent and God was clearly showing Moses He would give him power over their gods. Many Christians today never utilize their rod, leaving the wonders that God put in their hands unused. In order to step in the dunamis (power) lifestyle, sometimes we have got to throw down some things (past history, good or bad) that we have previously leaned upon. God has given us the privilege to witness the restoration of what the devil has stolen from people. As we step out, we see that restoration of people's peace, health, freedom, and their very lives await us. Affirmations: SINCE I FOLLOW CHRIST, I AM AN AMBASSADOR OF THE ENTIRE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE SPIRIT REALM TO TURN A DEAF EAR TO ME WHEN I KNOW THE POWER OF MY WORDS. WHEN I KNOW THE SPIRITUAL POWER WITHIN ME, THE SPIRIT REALM ALWAYS HEARS. Psalm 40:17 - "But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art, my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God." It is clear that king David was very rich, so far as worldly goods are concerned. The eyes of his inner man were not set on earthly wealth, so it was as though he really was poor -- poor in spirit, as the Lord would have us. Matthew 5:3 - "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven." Galatians 6:7,8 - "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." Observation: He has revealed the endless crop of boredom I will harvest when I base my life on pleasure-seeking instead of sowing acts of goodness and love for a harvest of eternal life. Luke 21:31 - "But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." Affirmations: I ASK THE LORD TO PROPEL ME INTO THE NEXT LEVEL OF MY GROWTH AND DESTINY. I AM DETERMINED THAT I WILL COOPERATE WITH HIM. Matthew 5:6 - "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. Psalm 138:7,8 - "Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies and Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me." God has promised to revive you in the midst of trouble. He promised to perfect that which concerns you. That means your recovery from your adverse circumstances, from the schemes of the devil, your victory, and all that God has destined for you has been planned out in heaven. Pain is merely a passage to a miracle. Failure cannot happen in your life without your permission! Affirmations: SINCE I DO NOT ACCEPT WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE IN THE NATURAL AND ACCEPT WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE IN THE SPIRITUAL, THE NATURAL CHANGES. I DO NOT DEPEND ON WHAT I CAN DO, BUT ON WHAT THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD WILL DO THROUGH MY SITUATION. Zechariah 4:6 - "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." Isaiah 43:18,19 - "Do not remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Your enemy is anyone who would rather discuss your past than your future. When Jesus stood at the scene of the woman caught in adultery, revelation exploded. Men were present, obsessed with her mistake, ready to stone her. But, Jesus was looking at her future. With one single stroke of mercy, He removed her past: "Neither do I condemn thee"(John 8:11). Then in a masterful stroke of the Master Artist, He painted a portrait that would lead her to Her Kingdom future: "Go, and sin no more". John 5:19 - "The Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever He does, that the Son does likewise." Jesus told us the secret for His life -- "I only do what I see my Father doing." Our attention is on what God is doing or has done. If we dwell on what God hasn't done we create an occasion for offense. If we dwell on what God has done we create an occasion for thankfulness. A kingdom mind-set doesn't accuse God. A kingdom mindset doesn't gain information to support accusation against God. Because it burns with the conviction that He is good. With that as the cornerstone of our theology, we work from there towards the issues of life. Anything that you think you know about God that you can't find in the person of Jesus, you have reason to question. Jesus Christ is perfect theology -- He is the exact image of the Father. That is our message. He is not part of the message -- He is the message. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. Matthew 22:14 - "For many are called but few are chosen." The words "appointed" and "chosen" are used synonymously in the new testament. Many are called. How Many? Everyone who has heard the Gospel message to be exact! Why are only a few appointed? Because only a few will forsake all their own desires, securities, lust for money, hindering relationships, etc. to fulfill the call upon their lives. Affirmations: I SEEK GOD FOR MY DESTINY, AND DON'T LOSE SIGHT OF THE HEAVENLY VISION. I FULFILL MY CALLING, I MAKE MY ELECTION SURE AND RUN MY RACE FULLY TO THE END. 2 Corinthians 5:21 - "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." If we're going to fully come into what God has for us we will have to come to grips with the issue of being more than "sinners saved by grace." Maturity comes from faith in the sufficiency of God's redemptive work that establishes us as sons and daughters of the Most High. Affirmation: I rise up to the high Call of God and stop saying things about myself that are no longer true. "I was asleep but my heart was awake, A voice! My beloved was knocking" - Song of Solomon 5:2 1. The best way to prepare for His revelation is to: immerse yourself in Scriptures concerning the topic at hand and to read books by others who have pursued the topic. 2. Use journaling to ask God to show you the insights you need to master the experience. 3. Go to sleep pondering the things you are learning, and as you lie in bed, you ask the Holy Spirit to grant you insight and revelation as you sleep. 4. We know from scritpure that our spirit stays awake all night and works on whatever we ask it to (Song of Solomon 5:2). 5. When you awake in the morning -- the heart downloads the revelation it received during the night. When the flow is done, the devotional time is over. 6. Repeat the same steps each day until full revelation, mastery, and true knowledge on the topic are yours. 7. Follow the Spirit's flow wherever it takes you. 8. Expect to experience knowledge, wisdom, and insight beyond your natural abilities, for God is revealing the secrets of the universe to your heart. "I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart; and I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, and how I may reply when I am reproved. Then the Lord answered me and said, 'record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time.'" - Habakkuk 2:1-3 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  16. Matthew 3:7 - "But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, 'O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?'" WHAT THE PHARISEES MOST FEARED WAS THAT JOHN THE BAPTIST WAS NOT PROCLAIMING ANY VALUE IN THEIR ROLES; IN ESSENCE, JOHN'S MESSAGE DETHRONED ANY REAL AUTHORITY TO BE HAD IN RELIGIOUS IDENTITIES. JESUS TOOK IT ONE STEP FURTHER. BUILDING ON JOHN'S FOUNDATION, HE SAID THINGS LIKE: "IF YOUR ARE TO BE GREAT IN THE KINGDOM, YOU WILL BY LIKE THE LEAST OF THESE." HE ESTABLISHED A NEW GOAL THAT WOULD LIBERATE HUMANITY FROM CHERISHED STATUS AND RESTORE THE HEAVENLY POSSIBILITY OF UNION WITH GOD. Affirmations: I DO NOT ESTEEM THE SAME VALUES AS THE WORLD DOES. I DO NOT NEED ANYTHING ELSE TO COMPLETE ME. I AM SUSTAINED IN GOD'S LOVE BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. Luke 20:46 - "Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts". Joshua 1:9 - "Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." COURAGE COMES FROM TRUSTING GOD'S WORD. IT CAN'T BE MENTALLY DRUMMED UP. IT COMES FROM BELIEVING WHAT GOD SAYS REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES LOOK LIKE. DISCOURAGEMENT COMES FROM FEAR THAT GOD IS NOT GOING TO PERFORM HIS WORD ON YOUR BEHALF. FEAR IS THE DARKROOM WHERE NEGATIVES ARE DEVELOPED. FEAR COMES FROM NOT BELIEVING (DOUBT & UNBELIEF) GOD'S WORD. Affirmations: I REALIZE WHO I AM IN CHRIST AND WHAT I'VE BEEN GIVEN BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS. I STOP LISTENING TO SATAN'S LIES. I STOP RECEIVING EVIL REPORTS. WHENEVER SOMEONE TELLS ME THAT GOD IS NOT GOING TO DELIVER ME, I JUST TELL THEM "HE'S ALREADY DELIVERED ME IN THE NAME OF JESUS." I AFFIRM AND MEDITATE ON THE PROMISES OF GOD IN HIS WORD DAY AND NIGHT. "I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?" Isaiah 43:19 Often, the hardest thing about receiving something new FOR US is that it almost always requires something new OF US. Those new breaker waves we pray and believe for rarely flow through our familiar comfort zone. They don't stay within our boundaries or control, rather, they are the move of His Spirit calling us to jump outside our self-imposed box and ride the wave of a lifetime. Will we know the new thing God is doing in, through and around us? Will we recognize His fresh move, beyond our insecurities, critiques or judgments? Will we be able to embrace the very thing we've been praying for when it passes by just outside familiar waters? If we will, it will take courage. You have a Messenger of Courage within you, a Helper, the Spirit of Truth, and He is calling to you like He did Gideon and Mary, already addressing you as beloved and a victor, not just hopeful of such. He wants to visit you, meet you, and call to the courage He already sees within you. He wants you to see yourself as He does, and He is imparting to you the courage necessary to leap out and seize the moment that is only just beyond your reach to STEP INTO THE APPOINTED TIME OF YOUR DESTINY. 17. Luke 10:38-40 - "As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to Him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what He said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, 'Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!"' Many people have their own ideas about what they want to do for God, and this is why they keep drifting off in the wrong direction. It is easy to become preoccupied in doing things for God rather than doing what God has specifically told us to do. Nowhere in the story does it say that Jesus was hungry. It says just that Martha went about preparing food for Jesus. God doesn't want us to start anything, including doing good works for Him, until we consult Him. This is because He doesn't want us to work "for" Him, but "with" Him in partnership. We are God's fellow workers or workers together with Him. 2 Corinthians 6:1 - "Laboring together as God's fellow workers with Him then, we beg of you not to receive the grace of God in vain." Affirmations: WHEN GOD REVEALS TO ME THE ASSIGNMENT THAT I WAS BORN TO FULFILL, I PRIORITIZE MY LIFE IN KEEPING WITH THAT VISION. I DECIDE HOW MANY OF THE THINGS THAT I AM CURRENTLY INVOLVED IN ARE BENEFICIAL TO MY DREAM. THERE ARE SOME GOOD PEOPLE IN MY LIFE WHO ARE "BAD" FOR ME BECAUSE THEY'RE DISTRACTING ME FROM GOING WHERE I WANT TO GO. THERE ARE SOME GOOD BOOKS IN MY HOUSE THAT ARE WRONG FOR ME BECAUSE THEY TAKE MY FOCUS OFF MY GOAL. MY VISION PROTECTS ME FROM BEING MISGUIDED BY GOOD ALTERNATIVES - IT ALLOWS ME TO SAY NO TO LESSER OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF THERE ARE CERTAIN BENEFITS TO THEM. "He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, "O Lord God, You know." - Ezekiel 37:3 NASB This scripture asks the question, "...can these bones become living people again?" The word living does not only mean to come back to life after being physically dead, it also applies to brokenness, a dying dream, a losing struggle, and times of hopelessness and despair in any area of our lives. To live means to be refreshed, rejuvenated, revived, or to be given the promise of life. It also means to be restored or renewed—or simply to be made whole again. Just as the wind breathed new life into the dry bones from the Ezekiel passage, God wants to resurrect our spirits as well. He wants to welcome us into His living presence and impart that same resurrection life to us, breathing new life into the dead places in our lives. And while some may come along and say, "God can't use us," God is saying otherwise. "Therefore, prophesy and say unto them, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O My people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel." - Ezekiel 37:12 Micah 2:13 - “The breaker goes up before them; They break out, pass through the gate and go out by it. So their king goes on before them, And the LORD at their head.” God, the breaker, goes before us and breaks open the way. Something compels God into action to open those gates -- faith coupled with obedience. Faith opens the gate of heaven. When heaven’s gate opens, what is in heaven comes down to earth: health, boldness, peace, love, grace, glory, revelation, strategy and all the rest of the kingdom of God. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  18. "Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you." -Zechariah 9:12 There are those who have been faithful, standing upon the promises of the Father. They have contended for and have walked in obedience toward the things that God has called them to, even though it seems as though war has broken out against them -- they are experiencing extreme heartache and despair. "Though an army besiege me my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident." - Psalm 27:3 Keep your eyes on the Lord. Feast on His goodness, and know that even now your Redeemer is preparing a table of feasting for you in the very presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5). REST IN THE LOVE OF THE FATHER This is a time to go deeper into the Father's rest; for rest is a form of warfare. Be assured: the Lord is fighting your battles, even as you take time to rest in Him. The battle is not yours, but the Lord's (see 1 Samuel 17:47). As you let go and let God, you will begin to see His hand at work in your life. The Lord is going to uproot lies and fears that have once found a lodging place in your heart and mind. Pick up your hope, and remember that His perfect love casts out all fear. The Lord is renewing the minds and thought processes that have not lined up with the truth of the Father's heart. He is bringing His people out of Egypt and out of a slavery mentality. You will no longer feel hemmed in and confined; the Lord Himself is bringing you into a new, spacious place! PUT ON NEW GARMENTS Watch as He crowns you with a crown of beauty and washes away despair. "I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For He has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of His righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." - Isaiah 61:10 As it is written in Psalm 24:9, "Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in." The Lord is rising on your behalf, and your victory is certain! Align your thoughts and your words with the promises of the Lord. Prophesy to the dead bones, "Come alive," for He is about to change everything. The areas of your greatest disappointments will soon be flooded with new life. Your breakthrough is near! Stand still, and see the salvation of your God (see 2 Chronicles 20:17). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  19. John 5:39 - "You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me." THIS SAYS CLEARLY THAT REVELATION IS MEANT TO BRING US INTO AN ENCOUNTER WITH GOD, AND IF IT DOESN'T, IT ONLY MAKES US MORE RELIGIOUS. RENEWING THE MIND IS NOT MERELY READING WORDS ON A PAGE AND HAVING A MOMENT OF REVELATION ABOUT A PARTICULAR VERSE. RENEWAL COMES AS REVELATION THAT LEADS YOU INTO A NEW EXPERIENCE WITH GOD. MANY CHRISTIANS HAVE AT TIMES EMBRACED A ROUTINE OF READING SCRIPTURE WITHOUT LETTING THE READING LEAD TO EXPERIENCE. Affirmation: TO RENEW MY MIND I MUST NOT JUST THINK DIFFERENTLY BUT LIVE DIFFERENTLY, IN A NEW EXPERIENCE OF THE EMPOWERMENT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Luke 14:26 - "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters - yes, even his own life - he cannot be my disciple." SOME OF JESUS' STATEMENTS ABOUT HIS OWN EARTHLY FAMILY WERE CONSIDERED MORALLY WRONG AND THE ULTIMATE IN DISHONOR BY THE CULTURE AROUND HIM. JESUS' STATEMENT WAS REVOLUTIONARY. THIS, HOWEVER, WAS NOT THE STATEMENT OF AN EXTREMIST. IT CONVEYED JESUS' JEALOUS LOVE FOR HUMANITY. HE LOVED US ENOUGH TO LEAVE HIS FATHER IN HEAVEN, AND HE EXPECTS NO LESS FROM US - ASKING US TO ABANDON ALL OTHER LOVES FOR HIM. Affirmation: AS A FOLLOWER OF JESUS I TREAT EVERYTHING ELSE AS LESSER IN COMPARISON TO HIM, THE GREATER. Luke 5:4 - "When Jesus had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch." Luke 5 is a great example of the Church in our day. Matthew 4:19 - And Jesus said unto them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." - 1 Peter 1:3 The Lord is redefining His Church and calling them out of a place of stagnancy and redundancy into a place of passion. Have you ever felt as if you were running around in circles, going through churchy motions but getting nowhere? When we lose sight of His Kingdom, our lives can be easily reduced to "playing church" which is no fun after awhile. Jesus only spoke of His Church – or Ekklesia roughly 3 times and mainly in the book of Matthew (Matthew 16:18, 18:17). The Lord's original idea for His called-out assembly (Church) -- a supernatural army of sons and daughters pulsing with a passionate expression of His Kingdom on the earth. In order to see the fruit of Jesus on the earth, we must remember to live from the Kingdom of Heaven. The Church is not meant to be a box in which we contain and theorize Heaven. WE ARE GOD'S AMBASSADORS HERE ON EARTH Every believer has the potential to wake up and smell the glory -- that is, recognize who they are in Christ as sons and daughters. The Church of Jesus Christ should be a place of equipping the saints in: who they are in Christ, their right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit. Now they are ready to understand their CALLING in Christ and be propelled into their Kingdom destinies. The Church is not meant to be a place where we get trained to go through the motions, it's mean to be a gathering and equipping of the representatives of the Kingdom of Heaven. As we ascend into passionate, Kingdom-living which results in an effective, powerful Church as well as personal life, we practice the operation of the gifts that in us such as faith, miracles, exhortation, etc. CAMP AROUND THE CLOUD "So it was continuously; the cloud would cover it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. Whenever the cloud was lifted from over the tent, afterward the sons of Israel would then set out; and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the sons of Israel would camp. At the command of the LORD the sons of Israel would set out, and at the command of the LORD they would camp; as long as the cloud settled over the tabernacle, they remained camped out." - Numbers 9:16-17 Kingdom people are led by the Spirit. We can experience an incredible stagnancy and/or burn out if we do not camp around the cloud of His glory. If you find yourself feeling stagnant or unproductive, challenge yourself to step out in faith by praying for someone or discipling a new believer in their spiritual growth. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  21. Colossians 2:9,10 - "For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form (giving complete expression of the divine nature). And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life, (in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - and reach full spiritual stature). And He is the Head of all rule and authority. " FAITH IS UNLIMITED. WHY? BECAUSE ITS SOURCE IS UNLIMITED. THE LAWS OF FAITH ARE SURE, STEADFAST AND AS UNCHANGING AS JESUS HIMSELF. IN GIVING HIMSELF TO US, HE HAS GIVEN US HIS FAITH. NOT JUST A PORTION OF IT, BUT ALL OF IT. Galatians 2:20 -- ".....I live by the faith of the Son of God......." (KJV) Romans 10:17 - "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing, by the word of God." HE DID NOT GIVE US ONLY A PORTION OF HIMSELF. EVERYTHING HE HAS AND IS HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US IN FULL MEASURE. FAITH IS BORN OUT OF THE WORD HIMSELF. THE FIRST STEP TO VICTORY EVERY TIME IS CONFIDENCE IN THE GROWTH PROCESS OF THE WORD. CONFIDENCE IN THE GROWTH PROCESS IS DISPLAYED BY THE MAN WHO SOWED THE SEED (THE WORD OF GOD) -- MARK 4:26-29. IT WILL PRODUCE IF ALLOWED TO RUN ITS FULL COURSE. THAT IS HOW WE ARE BORN AGAIN "NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, BY THE WORD OF GOD, WHICH LIVETH AND ABIDETH FOREVER" (1 PETER 1:23). THAT'S WHY FAITH IS SO EASY FOR THE PERSON WHO SPENDS TIME IN THE WORD. IT IS "NATURAL" TO THE LIFE OF THE BELIEVER BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT WE ARE BORN TO DO. Affirmations: IT IS UP TO ME JUST HOW FAR I GO WITH THE FAITH HE HAS GIVEN ME. FAITH IS THE DOORWAY TO ABUNDANCE. THE GROWTH OF MY FAITH IS NOT LIKE THE GROWTH OF NATURAL THINGS THAT HAVE BUILT-IN LIMITATIONS. THE ONLY LIMITS ON THE GROWTH OF MY FAITH ARE THERE BECAUSE OF ME, NOT BECAUSE THE FATHER HAS LIMITED IT IN ANY WAY. I SPEND TIME DEVELOPING MY FAITH BY AFFIRMING, MEDITATING, AND SEEING MYSELF IN THE WORD OF GOD AND APPLYING IT TO OVERCOME THE STORMS OF LIFE. Isaiah wrote, "No weapon formed against you will prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of God, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord." Isaiah 54:17 We quote the first part of that verse frequently and yet fail to read the remainder of the verse. What we miss is the part that says that God will condemn the voices of darkness that rise up to condemn us. If God condemns what is condemning us, shouldn't we do the same? His love is always flowing towards us and can never be diverted by the dam of personal shame and condemnation. God is inviting His people to rise up and join with Him to condemn each voice of Hell that tries to rob us of our DESTINY. That will be our most significant act of spiritual warfare. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  22. Isaiah 43:1-3 - "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you: and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." TROUBLES AND AFFLICTIONS ARE OFTEN AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF OUR TRANSFORMATION; AS THEY COMPEL US TOWARD GOD, HE COMPELS US TOWARD CHANGE. EVER MINDFUL OF TRANSFORMING OUR LIVES INTO HIS IMAGE, GOD REDEEMS THE ADVERSITIES WE FACE. WHY DOES THE LORD ALLOW US TO PASS THROUGH CONFLICT IN THE FIRST PLACE? BECAUSE IT IS HERE THAT HE TRAINS HIS SONS AND DAUGHTERS IN CHRISTLIKENESS. Ephesians 1:4 - "He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love." MAN IS CALLED TO REST IN GOD, BUT WE MUST ALSO LABOR WITH GOD. IN THIS LABOR, WE MUST FIND WHAT HE CREATED US TO DO. We were foreknown and chosen by God before the world was even created. The God who is so particular and specific also knows what he created us for. We each have a very specific job to do - a very specific calling (DESTINY). We will never know a true peace and fulfillment in our hearts until we are doing our callings. Affirmations: GOD HAS CREATED ME AND CALLED ME TO DO THE DEEPEST DESIRE OF MY HEART. I REJECT THE EXPECTATIONS OF THE WORLD AND BEGIN TO DISCERN THE YOKE THAT GOD HAS CALLED ME TO CARRY. When Jesus first came to the disciples on the shore, after the resurrection in John 21, He was ready and waiting to prepare a feast for His beloved. It's time for us to become like Peter in this passage, and stop waiting for Jesus to come out to us, but rather that we need to rush to be near Him! As soon as Peter was back on the shore, a feast was there waiting that had been prepared for him by Jesus Himself. It was also at this point when Peter had the deepest conversation he'd ever had with Jesus, which regarded love and his relationship with God, as well as his CALLING. (to feed the "sheep"). As you run to Jesus, and dive into your pursuit after Him, He will most definitely pour out His Spirit and presence on you like never before. He has a banquet feast waiting for you, which includes the new wine and manna of Heaven (also known as His joy, His PRESENCE, and His revelation). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  23. Luke 2:44,45 - "But supposing Him to be in the company they went a day's journey, and they sought Him among their kinsfolk and acquaintances; and when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him." Likewise, many of us have become so consumed with our battles that we fail to notice Jesus is not with us on our journey. Jesus' parents returned to where they had last seen Him; so also must we. To renew us, God is bringing us back to our most recent encounter with the living Christ. To reach our place of breakthrough, God is bringing us back to the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. For My Prayerful Consideration: IS NOT INTIMACY WITH GOD THE VERY THING I HAVE NEGLECTED? AS I SIMPLY AND TRUTHFULLY EVALUATE, WITHOUT RATIONALIZATION, MY HEART'S CONDITION I AM DRAWN INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD. WHAT SEEMS TO ME LIKE A TIME OF DESOLATION IS MORE TRULY A TIME OF PREPARATION. GOD HAS PREPARED FOR ME A NEW BEGINNING. 2 Corinthians 11:3 - "But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ." Matthew 16:25 - "For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose Following Him always leads to the cross. His triumph was the cross, and it is ours too. If we are in Christ we are to be dead to this world. It is impossible to offend a dead person. It is impossible for a dead person to feel rejected or abused. If this is true we can respond to any situation with God's love.it; but whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it." Luke 16:16 - "The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it." This realm of God’s Spirit does not come without “pressing” – without contending. The first thing about pressing is seeking. Pressing into it means there is a passionate pursuit of God in prayer. The word “to seek” means to diligently look for and search out earnestly until the object of the search is located. It is as crying out and hungering for the presence of God. AFFIRMATIONS: I press into and lay hold of the kingdom of heaven in an aggressive way. I have a burning heart of fiery witness and passion when it comes to exhorting others in their walk with God. I repent from trying to do God's will without abiding in His presence. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  24. 2 Timothy 2:8 - 'Don't ever forget the wonderful fact that Jesus Christ was a Man, born into King David's family; and that He was God, as shown by the fact that he rose again from the dead.' You may be barren now. Some seasons that we go through are seemingly filled with desolation, but take comfort in knowing that every season has a time frame and a devine seed. God is alerting us to raise our expectancy. Our expectancy will become our spiritual currency to allow transactions with heaven. Affirmations: I REMEMBER THAT WHEN JESUS AROSE, I AROSE. WHEN HE CAME OUT OF HELL AND DEFEATED THE ENEMY, I CAME OUT OF HELL AND DEFEATED THE ENEMY. HIS VICTORY IS MY VICTORY BECAUSE I AM IN HIM. Colossians 2:15 - "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." Romans 4:21 - "And being fully persuaded, that what He had promised, He was able also to perform." RELIGIOUS FLESH IS OCCUPIED WITH PRETENDING TO BE (OR LOOK) GOOD. THE SOUL THAT IS LED BY THE SPIRIT HAS ITS FOCUS UPON THE GREATNESS OF GOD, BELIEVING THAT WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED, HE IS ABLE ALSO TO PERFORM. Song of Solomon 1:5 - 'I am black, but lovely, daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.' THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE OF THE GRACE OF GOD WOULD NOT COME FROM HIM IF IT DID NOT GIVE YOU A CLEAR VIEW OF YOUR MISERABLE STATE APART FROM HIM. AS YOU COME OUT OF THE CHAMBERS OF YOUR KING (JESUS) YOU DISCOVER THAT YOU ARE BLACK. WHAT MAKES YOU BLACK? SUDDENLY YOU SEE ALL YOUR FAULTS BY THE LIGHT OF GOD. NOW YOU SEE THAT YOU HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANSED FROM YOURSELF. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
