  1. The Three Parts of the Spirit - #3 Fellowship With God Fellowship is our worship to God. The mind, the emotions, and the will are the organs of the soul and cannot worship God. God does not come through the mind, emotions or desires. God is known directly through the spirit. Man worships God and communicates with God through the spirit or ‘inner man’ and not through the soul or outward man. Luke 1:47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. Romans 1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; Romans 8:15-16 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. Affirmations: GOD IS A SPIRIT; AND THEY THAT WORSHIP HIM MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH. (John 6:63) I DWELL IN HIM, AND HE IS IN ME, BECAUSE HE HAS GIVEN ME OF HIS SPIRIT. (1 John 4:13) THE HOLY SPIRIT SHOWS ME WHAT I SHOULD PRAY FOR AND MAKES INTERCESSION FOR ME. (Romans 8:26) ALBERT FINCH MINSITRY
  2. 2 Corinthians 3:18 - "But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." WE ARE TO BE TRANSFORMED "FROM GLORY TO GLORY." THIS INDICATES AN UNFOLDING PROCESS TO CHANGE US INTO HIS IMAGE. THIS IS NOT A PROCESS THAT WE CAN ENGINEER OR CONTROL, BUT IT IS "FROM THE LORD, THE SPIRIT." WE SUBMIT TO IT BY "BEHOLDING THE GLORY OF THE LORD." AS WE BEHOLD HIS GLORY, WE WILL BE CHANGED INTO HIS IMAGE. WHEN WE FALL INTO THE TRAP OF TRYING TO CHANGE OURSELVES, IT RESULTS IN LOOKING AT OURSELVES INSTEAD OF HIM. THIS WILL INEVITABLY LEAD TO THE BLACK HOLE OF SELF-CENTEREDNESS. EVEN AFTER WE ARE BORN AGAIN INTO THE LORD TRANSFORMATION NEEDS TO TAKE PLACE IN OUR LIVES. AS WE KEEP OUR ATTENTION ON HIM, WE WILL CHANGE, EVEN IF WE ARE OFTEN UNAWARE OF IT. Matthew 22:29 - "You are wrong because you know neither the scriptures nor God's power." In this passage Jesus rebukes the Pharisees for their ignorance of the scriptures and God's power. What was the cause? They didn't allow the scriptures to lead them to God. They didn't understand......not really understand. The word "know" in this passage speaks of "personal experience." They tried to learn apart from such an experience. Their study didn't lead them to an encounter with God. It became an end in itself. We must seek until we find. How? Christianity is not a philosophy; it is a relationship. It's the "God encounter" that makes the concepts powerful. We must require this of ourselves. They didn't allow the scriptures to lead them to God. They didn't understand......not really understand. The word "know" in this passage speaks of "personal experience." They tried to learn apart from such an experience. Their study didn't lead them to an encounter with God. It became an end in itself. Jesus rebukes the Pharisees for their ignorance of the scriptures and God's power. What was the cause? moved with the love of God to the point that we seek His face until we are "clothed with power from on high!" Luke 11:10 - "For everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks and keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking, the door will be opened." AMP Psalm 141:3 - "Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips." Affirmation: THE WORLD IS LIKE A RUSHING RIVER, PULLING AT ME, TRYING TO GET ME TO FLOW WITH IT. I MAKE THE DECISION TODAY TO PADDLE UPSTREAM AGAINST THE CURRENT BY SPEAKING GOD'S WORD INTO MY LIFE. Proverbs 4:20 - "My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. James 1:2-4 - "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." EVERY TRIAL IN OUR LIVES IS ALLOWED FOR TWO PURPOSES: THE FIRST IS TO CONFORM US TO THE IMAGE OF JESUS CHRIST, WHICH IS THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. THE SECOND IS TO BRING US TO A PLACE OF MATURITY WHERE HE CAN TRUST US WITH MORE AUTHORITY TO DO THE WORKS THAT HE DID, WHICH ARE THROUGH THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT. THEREFORE, WE MUST SEIZE OUR TRIALS AS JAMES ENCOURAGES, COUNTING THEM AS JOY, BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS LEAD TO THE DAWN'S LIGHT. Zechariah 12:1 - "Thus says the Lord, Who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him." God is Spirit, and Zechariah 12 tells us that God formed the spirit of man within him. The human spirit is what makes relationship and fellowship with God possible at all. Through his spirit, man can walk in step with God. In the Spirit he is one with God. Through his spirit he knows of God and receives everything God wants to communicate to Him. It is in Man's spirit that Christ takes up residence. He who puts on Christ is one spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17 - "But he who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him." Psalm 5:3 -- 'In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.' Hearing from God is living with expectation toward Him because expectation places a demand on the Holy Spirit. We should live with expectation toward God twenty-four hours a day, for He abides within us at all times. God does talk. He is speaking continually. Christians need to develop their receivers (their human spirits) which will enable them to tune in to the voice of the Holy Spirit. If we start our day by thinking of all that needs to be done, our minds will attempt to figure things out, and we'll shut God out of our thoughts. If we focus on Him, He will talk to us and direct our day. AFFIRMATIONS: I live with expectation, I pray with expectation, I listen with expectation -- I hear HIS VOICE. I take time to listen to the Lord to hear strategies for myself, my family, and the needs of the Kingdom. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Exodus 16:4 - "Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether or not they will walk in My instruction."' THIS IS THE TEST OF WHETHER WE WILL GET UP FIRST THING EVERY DAY AND SEEK FRESH "MANNA" FROM HEAVEN. THIS FRESH DAILY WORD FROM HEAVEN WILL HELP KEEP US FRESH SPIRITUALLY. WHEN WE STOP GATHERING IT EVERY DAY, WE WILL START TO GROW STALE AND OFTEN START TO DETERIORATE. BUT WE NEED MORE THAN THIS TO ACTUALLY GROW SPIRITUALLY. GROWTH REQUIRES MORE THAN WHAT IS NEEDED TO JUST SUSTAIN US. WE NEED THE FRESH MANNA FROM GOD, BUT WE ALSO NEED THE MEAT OF THE WORD. WE WILL NOT GROW UNLESS WE ARE PURSUING MORE AND MORE DEPTH OF UNDERSTANDING, AND MORE INCREASE IN OUR VISION. 1 Corinthians 2:10 - " For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God." Joshua 1:9 - "Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." By far the greatest gift ever received by us is the Holy Spirit Himself. Those who discover the value of His presence enter realms of intimacy with God never previously considered possible. Out of this vital relationship arises a ministry of power that formerly was only a dream. The incomprehensible becomes possible because He is with us. "I will be with you" is a promise made by God to all His servants. It comes when God has required something of us that is humanly impossible. God doesn't have to try to do supernatural things. He is supernatural. If he is invited to a situation, we should expect nothing but a supernatural invasion. Psalm 59:9 - "O my Strength, I will watch and give heed to You and sing praises; for God is my Defense." The soul that is not recollected in one appetite alone -- the desire for God -- loses heart and strength in the practice of virtue. Affirmation: I WILL CONCENTRATE THE STRENGTH OF MY APPETITES ON GOD ALONE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. Romans 10:18 -- "But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their SOUND went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world." The Helper, the Holy Spirit, is also ready to give us the double portion of His sound or voice. For those who welcome the Holy Spirit, He will give a new clear sound. People will be drawn to the sound right and left. Divine increase will abound right and left. Curses will be broken and blessings of God will be released. Now, as always, is the time to make ready our hearts for the Holy Spirit. God is ready to pour out gifts and freshness of HisPresence, and awaken our eyes to His goodness, giving us the double of His glory and the overflow and outpour of His blessings. Romans 12:12 - "Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation: be constant in prayer." WE'RE TO LIVE IN HOPE. WE'RE TO REJOICE. SO, WHEN SATAN COMES TO STEAL MY VICTORY AND TELL ME THAT GOD IS NOT GOING TO HELP ME THIS TIME: Strategies: I THINK ON THE WORD AND START REJOICING, I REJOICE THAT I AM IN HIM, I REJOICE THAT HEAVEN IS MY HOME, I REJOICE THAT GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD. Tribulation means being under pressure. When pressure comes: I DON'T CAVE IN, I DON'T FAINT INSTEAD, I GO TO THE THRONE OF GRACE - I GO BOLDLY IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND GET THE HELP I NEED. I STAY "CONSTANT IN PRAYER" (I DOUBLE UP ON THE WORD) SO THAT I AM UNMOVABLE. 1 Corinthians 2:16 - "For who has known or understood the mind( the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ, the Messiah, and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart." First Corinthians 6:17 says that when we were joined to the Lord we became one spirit with Him. He came into union with us so that He can talk to us heart to heart -- His thoughts become our actions. He wants us to walk so closely with Him that we never lack power to overcome the evil of this world, and feel His heart of compassion toward those that are hurting or bowed down with sickness and pain. He wants to be one with us so He can reach out through our hands and fulfill his purposes in the earth. AFFIRMATIONS: I make a fresh commitment to walk in union with God. I give my attention to His Spirit in my inner man. I determine to yield to His voice and not the voices of the world or the flesh (senses)! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Ephesians 3:16 - "That according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in your inner being." WHEN WE LEARN TO RECEIVE FROM OUR SPIRIT, OUR MIND BECOMES THE STUDENT AND IS THEREFORE SUBJECT TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. THROUGH THE PROCESS OF REVELATION AND EXPERIENCE OUR MIND EVENTUALLY OBTAINS UNDERSTANDING. THAT IS BIBLICAL LEARNING - THE SPIRIT GIVING INFLUENCE TO THE MIND. Galatians 5:25 - "If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit." Romans 8:4 - "And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to our sinful nature but according to the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 5:7 - "For we walk by faith, not by sight." JESUS EXPECTS PEOPLE TO SEE FROM THE HEART. HE ONCE CALLED A GROUP OF RELIGIOUS LEADERS HYPOCRITES BECAUSE THEY COULD DISCERN THE WEATHER CONDITIONS BUT COULDN'T DISCERN THE TIMES (SPIRITUAL CLIMATE AND SEASONS). THE VERY FACT THAT THEY, OF ALL PEOPLE, WERE REQUIRED TO SEE IS EVIDENCE THAT EVERYONE HAS BEEN GIVEN THIS ABILITY. THEY BECAME BLIND TO HIS DOMINION BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN CORRUPTED HEARTS AND WERE JUDGED FOR THEIR UNFULFILLED POTENTIAL. Affirmations: I EMBRACE THE LIFE OF FAITH WHICH HAS ITS ANCHOR IN THE UNSEEN REALM. I AM NOT LIMITED BY MY NATURAL SIGHT -- FAITH PROVIDES EYES FOR THE HEART. John 10:10 - "I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly." The word "life" is from the Greek word "Zoe". It means Eternal Life. 1 John 6:7 - "He that believeth hath Eternal Life." The Holy Spirit would have us know this fact: that believing is possessing. The instant that you believe, you have. 1 John 5:13 - "These things have I written unto you that ye may know that ye have Eternal Life, even to you that believe on His Name." You may mentally assent and never have. You may hope and never have But the instant you "believe" it is yours. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Matthew 3:13-17 - 13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan [River], to be baptized by him. 14 But John tried to prevent Him [vigorously protesting], saying, “It is I who need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” 15 But Jesus replied to him, “Permit it just now; for this is the fitting way for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John permitted [it and baptized] Him. 16 After Jesus was baptized, He came up immediately out of the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he (John) saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him (Jesus), 17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased and delighted!” - The Amplified Bible The Scripture (Matthew 3:13-17) tells us that when John baptized Jesus in the river, the heavens opened up with the voice of the LORD declaring that Jesus was the Son of God. Jesus says something very interesting during this moment when He tells John the Baptist that this had to be done in this particular manner. Although John felt insignificant, Jesus was saying that he had to be the one to activate the destiny. God is calling for the leaders of today to get back into the river where what you do will open the heavens. DISCOVERING OUR CALLING IN CHRIST The river has many applications throughout the Word of God and our spiritual walk. However, the most significant is that the river is a place of life. It's the place where we discover our true identities as sons of God (discovering our CALLING in Christ) and the place (spiritually speaking) where we are baptized in Holy Spirit. When we recognize that we are positioned in the river, in the things that we set ourselves to do, we discover that Heaven will open and declare what is needed to activate our DESTINY. John the Baptist was a forerunner. Not only a voice, but an individual who paved the way for what was coming. A forerunner is someone who is willing to make a way for others when there is no way. A forerunner is someone who isn't willing to go down the same road again and again, but one who is determined to discover beyond natural limitations or boundaries. LEADING SONS INTO THEIR DESTINIES In this day there is a call for forerunners to be fathers. There is a real need in our day to see fathers arise to not only love sons, but to lead sons into their destiny. We need fathers who are willing to raise sons and set them into God's PURPOSE for their lives. When fathers have no desire to go beyond the realm of the known, they begin to build their private empires to keep everyone close to them at all times. However, when a father has the heart of a forerunner, he will raise sons to discover the revelation of their DESTINY. The Lord is calling you to the river. He is calling you to do what must be done and in so doing, Heaven will open and declare the mandate upon your life. What you do as a forerunner is just the beginning, while what you do as a father will turn generations to shift the fatherless to their PURPOSE in Christ. The river is calling YOU! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. Hebrews 5:11 - "Concerning this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull in your (spiritual) hearing and sluggish (even slothful in achieving spiritual insight)." They were not in need of hearing aids; rather their inward man had digressed to become insensitive to spiritual things. The Holy Spirit does not communicate to our head but to our spirit. You can be a believer for years and not develop your spirit. Scripture tells us that John the Baptist "grew and became strong in spirit". Regarding spiritual development, Paul told Timothy to give himself entirely to it "that your progress may be evident to all." Luke 1:80 - "And the little boy grew and became strong in spirit." Mark 9:23 - "What do you mean, 'If you can'?' said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes." Faith is having a knowing on the inside. Faith knows you are healed even when you don't feel it yet. Faith knows you're safe even when tragedy happens nearby. Faith knows you have peace even when everyone around you is afraid. Faith doesn't deny the circumstances. Faith believes in the higher truth of God's word in spite of the circumstances. John 12:28,29 - "'Rather, I will say, Father, glorify Your name!' Then there came a voice out of heaven saying, I have already glorified it, and I will glorify it again. The crowd of bystanders heard the sound and said that it had thundered; others said, An angel has spoken to Him!" Jesus taught us to pray for earth to manifest what is already in Heaven. How is it to be done? God will use spiritual sound - sound that will be unintelligible to spiritual wickedness and hidden from man's natural mind. Spiritual sound is not random indefinite noise. It is a sound which speaks and reveals knowledge to those with ears to hear. We are like instruments that resonate the sound coming from heaven - the approaching rule of the King of Kings. John 3:8 - "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." Affirmations: THE SOUNDS OF HEAVEN HAVE FALLEN TO ME IN PLEASANT PLACES; YES, I HAVE A GOOD INHERITANCE. I REVEAL SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS WITH SPIRITUAL WORDS, AS THE SPIRIT LEADS ME. I AM GROWING IN MY CAPACITY TO RELEASE SPIRITUAL SOUND ALIGNING WITH THE HEART AND NATURE OF GOD. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. John 10:4 - "The gate keeper admits him, and the sheep hear his voice; he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. When he as brought them all out, he goes ahead and the sheep follow, because they know his voice." JESUS DID NOT SAY, "MY SHEEP WILL KNOW MY BOOK." IT IS HIS VOICE THAT WE ARE TO KNOW. WHY THE DISTINCTION? BECAUSE ANYONE CAN KNOW THE BIBLE AS A BOOK - THE DEVIL HIMSELF KNOWS AND QUOTES THE SCRIPTURES. BUT ONLY THOSE WHOSE LIVES ARE DEPENDENT ON THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL CONSISTENTLY RECOGNIZE HIS VOICE. Observation: I MUST DILIGENTLY STUDY THE SCRIPTURES, REMEMBERING THAT IT IS IN KNOWING HIM THAT THE GREATEST TRUTHS OF SCRIPTURE WILL BE UNDERSTOOD. 2 Corinthians 10:4 says, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds." ' How is gratitude a weapon? Gratitude means being grateful not only for what God has already done but for what He is about to do. Combining faith with gratitude multiplies the power of this spiritual weapon. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He uses fear to capture hearts. He uses lies to capture land. Gratitude prevents him. Gratitude actually takes territory from the enemy. Thus, gratitude is a weapon in spiritual warfare. Gratitude creates an atmosphere forincrease. Look at all of the traps gratitude helps you avoid: self-pity, entitlement, resentment, greed, lust, and anger are a few. See what a great strategy gratitude is? Gratitude helps you avoid disappointment and indignation. As an active strategy for wellness, it promotes healing. It leaves little room for fear. Gratitude and contentment enhance godliness as you set your affection on things above and not things below. That is great gain. You will not win the world with your logic, you will win the world with love. There is no logic that can explain His love. So let His love flow through your heart, peace dictate your thoughts, and compassion craft your words. Isaiah 54:17 - "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord." Observation: I ESTABLISH MYSELF THROUGH PRAYER SAYING, "LORD, I REFUSE TO BE AFRAID OF THIS WEAPON THE DEVIL HAS BROUGHT AGAINST ME BECAUSE I KNOW THAT ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD, IT CANNOT PROSPER. I TRUST YOU TO PROTECT ME, AND I THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROTECTION NOW. IN JESUS' NAME. AMEN." Affirmations: NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER. NO SICKNESS, NO CIRCUMSTANCE, NO PROBLEM THAT RISES AGAINST ME CAN SUCCESSFULLY BRING ME DOWN. I DON'T LET THE POWERHOUSE OF GOD'S PROTECTION GO TO WASTE. I PUT IT TO WORK IN MY LIFE. IT IS MY RIGHTFUL HERITAGE AS A SERVANT OF THE LORD. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. Blessings Brothers & Sisters Recently I noticed many discussions where someone asks a simply question"Where did you get that information?"I'm sure that has always been a very common question but there are a couple of reasons that it really got my attention and I will go on to explain why.... There are several re-actions(please not I intentionally used the word REACTION here) A) the person who has been asked this question will take offense & reply"I don't have to answer that B) Try to defend their position by quoting verses of Scripture completely out of context Immediately they copy C) In less than 30 seconds they will copy/paste an answer from an information website that is someones commentary or answer which is their personal interpretation and D) they simply post an external link? Then, you do have people that do not REACT but replies after a few minutes, hours or even the next day...these folks usually will take the time to explain where & why or they truly don't remember and will say so OR tell you they will get back to you....& I'm sure there are tons of other responses to the question but that is just to name a few The reason I started this discussion is so you(we) can all ask ourselves "Where do get MY information" In other words ,,,"what are your sources & do you really take the time to test & approve? Not only should we see if the information we gathered is in accordance with Gods Word but also we must make sure that whoever has quoted Scripture has done so accurately......if someone responds & post a verse of Scripture do you go to the Bible to see that it has been quoted correctly?Perhaps you have memorized each& every Word that you do know it is precise?Well,Holy Spirit does bring Remembrance to us as we are firmly rooted & grounded in the Word of God ,yet ,,,ask yourself, have I prayed & tried the spirit? You see,I did a little experiment with a dear friend of mine & asked her if I was quoting the Scriptures accurately(I changed one word here & one word there,it w4ould be similar & still it changed the entire meaning of Gods Word) As a mature Spirit Filled woman of god ,her first response was "Let me first get my Bible" I said"No no,I want to try something" So she agreed & the outcome was not a surprise,,,,,she didn't notice, couldn't pinpoint the error.....being she is well versed in Scripture she often said" Wait a minute ,that does not seem quite right!!!!" There are many times I see someones a reply ,full of quoted Scriptures, some I know very well(to the letter) & others I double check to make sure......& then there are times,I must admit, that I carelessly have taken for granted that they are accurate without giving it much thought.....don't you? So please, don't take anyone at THEIR word,we humans can & do make mistakes,we are not perfect although we strive for Perfection in Christ Jesus. It is not a race to put up a reply as quickly as possible,if you are unsure of the answer & have a favorite website that you believe to be a reliable source, check it....be sure they have not only provided good information but that their sources are good also & ACCURATE,,,,,just because someone refers to Scripture does not mean the shoe fits or that it was even copied without addition or with omission......we each have a responsibility to seek Gods Truth ,we have a PERSONAL Relationship with God in Christ,we are Indwelled by Holy Spirit,we can approach the Throne of Grace Boldly & Confidently for ourselves,,,,& one day when we are asked the very same question,by Jesus,,,,,"Because he/she said so" will not suffice..... The internet provides a wealth of information & if you do your due diligence you can benefit tremendously by what is available but be CAREFUL & VIGILANT.....Google is not a source in itself,I hear a lot of people say "Well,I googled it!" ...Great.but where did google lead you to ,it is merely a search engine to point you in the right direction....In my younger days we didn't have computers, the library was one place to go to find information....we had to "take notes" & would end up with heaps & heaps of paperwork to do research.....a few times I have been asked what my sources are & honestly,it could take weeks to sort through hundreds of papers to find but I can tell you this much,I never took anyone's word for what they said to be "facts"....I looked it up * then I looked that up which lead to looking that up & so on & so on.......today,everything is at your fingertips in an instant we can research what may have taken many days so it is not that difficult And the same goes for rumors & hearsay, just because there are 5 websites that say "So & so is a false teacher" does not make it so,did you hear with your own ears, who are these people saying so?and more importantly,WHY are they saying so.....have they quoted one paragraph that was certainly a false doctrine that the person said & nobody quoted the second paragraph where that person explained that he was showing a false doctrine?lol Be alert, double check, triple check....do not be a rumor monger just because you have not taken the time to do proper research, that is not what a Christian does,,,,,we have to be accountable for every word spoken........and many things we do not know or are not sure of we must be sure to say so OR don't say it,it is not edifying.....We don't have to have ALL the answers nor are we expected to,I very rarely hear 3 little words ...."I don't know" or "I wouldn't know".....they are not difficult words to say Thanks for reading & I do hope to encourage everyone to got the extra mile and with just a little more time & effort I guarantee that we will grow that much more and not only be Bountifully Blessed but be a blessing as well! I am excited to hear what you have to offer to contribute to this Topic & if you have anything to add to enrich this Body of Christ,,,,,,,Peace to you & have a Glorious day with God!!! With love-in Christ, kwik
  11. 2 Corinthians 5:18,20 - "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ." JUST AS AMBASSADORS OF THE UNITED STATES HAVE AN INCOME BASED ON THE STANDARD OF LIVING OF THIS NATION REGARDLESS OF WHAT NATION THEY SERVE IN, SO ALSO AMBASSADORS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD LIVE ACCORDING TO THE ECONOMY OF HEAVEN, THOUGH THEY ARE STILL ON EARTH. ALL OF OUR KING'S RESOURCES ARE AT OUR DISPOSAL TO CARRY OUT HIS WILL. THAT IS HOW JESUS COULD SPEAK OF THE CAREFREE LIFE. Matthew 6:26 - "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they." Mark 5:22-24 - "And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw Jesus, he fell at His feet, andbesought Him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. And Jesus went with Him." JAIRUS IS SO DOGGEDLY DETERMINED TO GET TO JESUS THAT HE FIGHTS HIS WAY THROUGH THE CROWD AND CLEARS OUT ENOUGH ROOM TO FALL AT JESUS' FEET. HE'S MADE A DECISION -- AND WHEN HE GETS TO JESUS, HE SAYS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS: LAY YOUR HANDS ON HER AND SHE SHALL LIVE. IN A CROWD OF LITERALLY THOUSANDS, THE FAITH DECISION OF ONE MAN IS DIRECTING THE ACTIONS OF JESUS. Observation: IF I AM SITTING AROUND WAITING FOR JESUS TO DECIDE TO HEAL ME .....FOR JESUS TO DECIDE TO HELP ME....... FOR JESUS TO DECIDE TO PROSPER ME AND GIVE ME VICTORY.... I AM IN FOR A LONG WAIT. BECAUSE THAT'S NOT JESUS' DECISION -- IT'S MINE. Hebrews 3:7 - "Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, TODAY, if you shall hear His voice, harden not your hearts." The Holy spirit says, TODAY. What does this mean? God is the Eternal One. With Him there is no yesterday or tomorrow; what we call past and future are with Him an ever-present NOW. His life is an ever-blessed, never-ending TODAY. Even as the Holy Spirit says TODAY, satan's word is ever "TOMORROW, God's demand is too great for TODAY." The Holy Spirit says, TODAY! That means that He who is the mighty power of God is Himself ready to work in us the CALLING He has on our individual life and asks; it is He who is each moment pleading for immediate surrender, for a present trust, because He bears with him the power of a present salvation. AFFIRMATIONS: TODAY, this very moment, the wondrous love of God is for me -- it is even now waiting to be poured out into my heart. TODAY, all that Christ has done, and is now doing in heaven, and is able to do within me -- this very day --- it is within my reach. TODAY, the Holy Spirit, is within me -- sufficient for every need, equal to every emergency. With every prayer I breathe, and every longing that rules in my heart, there is the Spirit of promise whispering, TODAY! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Matthew 5:20 - "For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Christ's virtue and power came from the Holy Spirit, not a religious spirit. For it was the fruit of the Holy Spirit that the Father crowned with power -- love healed broken bodies -- peace drove out tormenting spirits -- joy released captives from sin. Romans 14:17 - "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." AFFIRMATIONS: The Spirit of God is creating a desire for the NEW - I thank the Holy Spirit for helping me to press through into this new place. I see God in a new way as HE comes to lead me forward -- I feel a stirring in my emotions -- God is knocking on my door -- God is calling me to a new place. I refuse to stay in complacency of my former attitudes, waiting for the provision before me to start my journey to the new heights. Matthew 5:25,28,34 - And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years. For she said, if I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And He said unto her, "Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace, and be whole of thy plague." SHE DIDN'T CONFESS HER SICKNESS, HER DOCTORS' FAILURES, HER SUFFERING AND HER LACK. SHE HAD STOPPED TALKING ABOUT ALL OF THAT. INSTEAD, SHE BEGAN TO SAY WHAT SHE HAD HEARD ABOUT JESUS. Galatians 6:7 - "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Luke 8:23,24 - "But as they sailed He fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, Master, Master, we perish. Then He arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm." JESUS WAS SLEEPING IN THE MIDDLE OF A LIFE-THREATENING STORM. IT WAS THE PEACE OF HEAVEN THAT ENABLED HIM TO SLEEP. AND IT WAS THAT SAME PEACE THAT SUBDUED THE STORM. YOU ONLY HAVE AUTHORITY OVER THE STORM YOU CAN SLEEP IN. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. In Joshua's day, before crossing the Jordan River and moving into their inheritance, God said to the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you" (Joshua 3:5). This is an exhortation for us today! DRAW NEAR TO GOD The word consecrate, in Hebrew, is actually a relational term. "Qadash" means to separate or set yourself apart unto God. God's heart isn't, "Clean up your act so I can restore and bless you." He says instead, "Come to Me so I can bless you." BIG DIFFERENCE! His love is free, not earned. "Qadash"(set apart to Him), is actually the root word for holy (qodesh). Being "holy" isn't the result of or defined as "being good enough?" Rather it is the nature (qodesh) we receive from our union with Him (qadash), which motivates us to good works and a refusal to sin. We must be careful, then, that when we set out to prepare ourselves for a move of God's Spirit, we do not move into a legalistic works mentality, trying to accomplish separation and holiness in our own abilities; rather, we draw near to God inrelationship. There is another word in Scripture that also means separation, which we often confuse with consecration and holiness. "Nazir", from which we get the word Nazarite, means to be separate from. Nazir implies that we are separating ourselves away from something, as in sin, or the Nazarite vow of separation from certain activities. Qadash implies that we are separating ourselves unto, or drawing near to God. And this is where we must always start in our walk with Him. Samson was a Nazarite and lived a life separated from certain things. There is never any indication in Scripture, however, that he was separated unto, or walking closely with God. When Delilah entered the picture, since Samson was attempting holiness in his own strength, not by drawing near to the Lord, He did not have the strength to resist temptation. The Lord desires to raise up men and women of prayer and radical devotion through which He can release a greater "Great Awakening" and shift the course of nations today. To be a part of this, however, we must be willing to comply with what God requires of us: Prepare ourselves through drawing near. A SEASON OF SEPARATION The Lord is inviting you to enter into a season where you separate yourself unto Him in an extra special way: 1. Take time to inquire of the Lord as to what this means for you. 2. Things will shift if you increase your devotion time from 15 to 30 minutes each day. 3. Doors will open if you fast one lunch per week to spend that time with the Lord. 4. You will experience breakthrough if you put on some worship music and commune with the Lord as you go about your daily chores. 5. For 15 minutes a day, invite Him to walk with you around your backyard or sit beside you on your porch. If you rearrange your busy schedule over the next few weeks to pray and fast and spend more time in worship and the Word, your life will radically change. No matter what level of relationship you currently enjoy with the Lord, He wants to transform you into a more passionate and zealous Believer. As you draw into His depths, His cleansing stream will prepare you to advance in His PURPOSE for your life. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. Today we set our hearts and focus on the presence of the Lord and His NOW word that brings divine impartation that will enable us to flourish into a season of great fruitfulness for the glory of the Lord. John 15:8 - "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples." Basking in His presence and power, love takes hold more deeply, joy springs forth like a river, peace is established by the Prince of Peace, and we are empowered to live above our natural ability. Galatians 5:25 - "Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit's leading in every part of our lives." NLT We are enabled to live in the Spirit and by the Spirit—cultivating, nurturing, and developing His nature and attributes from glory to glory. In His presence, His gifts and the fruit of His Spirit are continually increasing and flowing with rivers of His goodness that provide all we need for life and godliness. His presence is also a place of genuine hunger for the Word of God, hunger for fresh bread from the Word every day. There the Word comes alive and mysteries are revealed as the Word becomes like fire in the bones. Within us arises a holy boldness to decree the Word of God to shift the unseen realm and break down every barrier of the enemy with the power of the Word. 1 Thessalonians 1:5 - "for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction;" QUESTION TO ASK OURSELVES: Are we are about to see increase—increase of His ability that releases us to be all we are to be and to accomplish all He purposes for us to accomplish? Ephesians 3:16 - "That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;" Your future comes from God’s possibilities and from His potential, not the world’s, not your own. His potential and all of His promises of possibility flow through the Holy Spirit into you, and He will strengthen you with His might to accomplish those things, to be who you are called to be, to do what you are called to do (God'sPURPOSE for your life), and to have what you are promised to have. The Holy Spirit desires us to live every day in the fullness of the Lord, by seeing above and beyond what we can do, and He desires for Jesus to receive glory and honor through His great power that works in us and through us. This is the essence of what Paul writes about inEphesians 3:20–21: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. The real success of any life will be because of this knowledge, "Thou art the Christ." This knowledge is the rock foundation, "and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 16:18,19). This knowledge of our right standing with God -- this life of faith that we have come into -- it is because of this rock foundation that we have this living faith, and that foundation cannot be overthrown. He has given us power to bind and loose. "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, who loved me, and gave himself for me." - Galatians 2:20 KJV Knowing that you are on this rock foundation (living through His faith) and able to bind and to loose; and to have that living faith that you can pray and know you have the answer because of God's promises, and the fact that Jesus said, "If Ye believe." It is on this rock that our faith must be based, and this will never fail; God has established it forever. THE MIND AND WILL OF GOD There is only one place where we can get the mind and will of God; it is alone with God; if you look to anybody else you cannot get it. If we seek to save ourselves we shall never reach the place where we will be able to bind and loose. There is a close companionship between you and Jesus that nobody knows about, where every day you have to choose or refuse. It is in the narrow way that you get the power to bind and the power to loose. We are not going to have faith if we do not give ourselves wholly up to Him. THE ROCK FOUNDATION IN YOU Some believers are weak today because Christ the rock is not abiding in them in the manifestations of the power of God. This is not because it is a special gift -- this power to loose and to bind -- but it is whether you have the rock foundation in you. In the name of Jesus you will loose, and in the name of Jesus you will bind, and if He is in you it ought to bring forth evidences of that power. There is a Spirit that dwells within us, and this is nothing less than the life of Him who gave Himself for us, for He is the Rock life in us. The rock is within you, you have power to bind and power to loose because you consist of that Rock. What you have to do is to stand on that fact and use that power. Wherever you are you can set people free. That power is yours. God is delighted when we use the power He has given us. QUESTION TO ASK MYSELF: Will I use the power of the Rock within me, for His glory? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  16. "....if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you." - Romans 8:11 "For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba Father...And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ..." - Romans 8:15,17 The Spirit brings us to a place where we see that we are sons of God -- not only sons but heirs, and not only heirs, but joint-heirs. If the Spirit of God that raised Jesus from the dead is in you, that power of the Spirit is going to quicken your mortal body and lead you to believe that you may lay hold of ALL the promises of God. We see also the power of the Spirit in sonship in raising us up, and pressing us onward to translation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His CALLING on our lives. The moment we come into the knowledge of Christ we are made an heir of heaven. By the Spirit, we are being changed into the image of the Son of God, and it is in that image that we can definitely look into the face of the Father and see that the things we ask for are done. THE GLORY OF CHRIST IN US "...we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is" (1 John 3:2). It does not mean that we shall have faces like Jesus, but have the same Spirit. When they look at us and see the glory, they will say, "Yes, it is the same Spirit," for they will see the luster of the glory of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is working in us and bringing us to a condition where we know He is doing a work in us. God wants us to be so filled with the Spirit, and walk in the Spirit, that while we live here on earth our heads will be right up in heaven so that each day may be the day we go up with Him. HIS SON IN ME If you stand on the truths that God has given, you will be amazed to see how God will make everything move so that you may be conformed to the image of His Son. "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me by His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen..." - Galatians 1:15,16 Before we were ever born He purposed in His heart to do mighty things in us. Are you going to refuse it, or are you gong to yield? 1. If you yield, He will put in you a living faith, and you cannot get away from the power of it. 2. How amazing it is that we can be so transformed that the thoughts of Christ will be first in our minds. 3. How blessed that when everybody around you is interested in everything else, you are thinking about Jesus Christ. RISING TO THE PLACE OF SONSHIP It is the purpose of God that you should rise into the place of sonship. Don't miss God'sPURPOSE for your life. "...and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified" (Romans 8:30) God wants to make of you the firstfruits, and separate you unto Himself. The glorification is still going on and is going to exceed what it is now. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  17. "The Spirt of the Lord is upon me because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised." - Luke 4:18 God is bringing us to a place where we know the Spirit of the Lord is upon us. If we have not got to that place, God wants to bring us to the fact of what Jesus said in John 14, "...I will prayer the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever." Because the Spirit of the Lord came upon Him who is our head, we must see to it that we receive the same anointing and that the same Spirit is upon us. DWELLING IN HIM There is no limit as to what we may become if we dwell and live in the Spirit. In the Spirit of prayer, we are taken from earth right away into heaven. We feel as we speak in the Spirit that the fire which burned in the hearts of the two men on their way to Emmaus (Luke 24: 13-32), when Jesus walked with them, is burning in our heart. It is sure to come to pass when we walk with Him, our hearts will burn -- it is the same power of the Spirit. They could not understand it then, but a few hours later they saw Him break the bread, and their eyes were opened. LIVING IN THE SPIRIT There is a place where the Holy Ghost can put us where we cannot be anywhere else but in the Spirit. But if we breathe His thoughts into our thoughts, and live in the unction of the Holy Spirit as He lived, then there will be evidences that we are in Him; and His works we will do. "To know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God." -- Ephesians 3:19 "Filled with God" means you are emptied of self, leaving no room for doubting or fearing. You are filled with love, and perfect love casts out fear. LIVING IN ABUNDANCE If we will only live in the Spirit and the unction of the Spirit, there will be no lack. There is only lack where faith is not substance. If we will obey the Lord there is nothing He will not give us since He has given us Jesus. The Spirit will have to reveal to us that fact that, because He has given us Jesus, He has given us ALL THINGS. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: Am I willing to lay down all that I may have God's all? Am I willing to seek and don't stop seeking (Matthew 7:7,8) until I know the Spirit of the Lord is upon me? Am I willing to cry out to Him until the Glory of the Lord is upon me? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  18. 1 John 2:20 - "But you have an unction from the Holy One, and you know all things." Observation: WHERE IS THAT UNCTION? - IT'S IN MY SPIRIT. I LEARN TO LIVE OUT OF MY SPIRIT IN EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE. I EVEN NEED TO LIVE OUT OF MY SPIRIT WHEN I'M LEARNING ABOUT SPIRITUAL THINGS. I LET MY SPIRIT MAN RISE UP AND LET MY TONGUE SPEAK IN LINE WITH MY HEART, WITH MY BELIEVING. THE WAY I LOOSE THE SPIRIT OF GOD INTO MY LIFE IS THROUGH MY WORDS - THROUGH MY RIGHT SPEAKING. John 4:24 - "God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 - "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. So God will allow them to believe a deluding influence with all their hearts, and all of them will be justly judged for believing falsehood, refusing the Truth, and enjoying their sins." The freedom that comes from knowing the truth is freedom from sin and its consequences. For those who do not love the truth, God allows a "deluding influence" (Greek: An "Activity of error") to come upon them. Each area of our lives where truth is not ruling has for its substitute an "activity of error." Each area of our lives that is controlled by sin is an aspect of our soul that is under deception. John 8: 31,32 - "If you continue in my Word, then you are my disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." 2 Corinthians 10:5 - "We destroy arguments and every proud obstacle to the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience...." Nothing is to hinder the seed of DESTINY God has planted in us. We are to breakout of small mindedness (unforgiveness), old mind-sets, and human thinking and enter into the MIND AND PLANS OF GOD FOR OUR LIVES. It is only our lack of failure to obey that hinders the breakout. Affirmations: I CONFESS THAT I WALK IN FORGIVENESS! OFFENSE, BITTERNESS, STRIFE, AND UNFORGIVENESS HAVE NO PLACE IN MY LIFE. I AM FULL OF MERCY, LONGSUFFERING, AND SLOW TO ANGER. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  19. Proverbs 20:27 - "The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly." As we begin to cry out from a deep engaging of the Spirit of the living God within our spirits, we experience the communion of the Holy Spirit, which is a place of deep to deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit searches out the deep counsel of God for you and reveals it to you. OBSERVATION: If I am sensitive to my spirit, the Lord will tell me what to pray about. He will alert me to those things that need to be addressed in prayer. I become sensitive to my spirit by meditating on spiritual things at all times -- by meditating on the Lord, on His goodness, on His greatness, and on His Word. AFFIRMATIONS: Out of His glorious riches He strengthens me with power through His Spirit in my inner man. (Ephesians 3:16) I receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. (Ephesians 1:17) The same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwells in me. So therefore I walk in His Kingdom power. I walk in the Presence of the Lord, in step with Him. His fire surrounds me and His Glory dwells within me. My speech demonstrates the power of God’s Spirit in my life. (I Corinthians 2:4) "God put His stamp of ownership (seal)on you by giving you the Holy Spirit he had promised...so that your minds may be opened to see His light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you...and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. This power in us is the same as the mighty strength which he used when he raise Christ from death." - Ephesians 1:13,18-20 To be sealed means to be stamped with an image. That means, when we were born again, we were stamped with the likeness of the Anointed One. We were made to look like the Lord Jesus Christ on the inside. OBSERVATION: Shall we stop short of what He says we ought to be -- shall we cease to come into line with the Mind which is always thinking for our best -- shall we cease to humble ourselves before him who took the way of the cross for us -- shall we cease to withhold ourselves from Him. Can a true believer come to God today without a cry to God to make them, as it were, flames of fire? God shall endue you in that you won't be satisfied until you feel the very members of your body on fire with a Spirit-kindled PURPOSE. Song of Solomon 3:10 - "He made the pillars of silver and the couch of gold. the ascent is of purple and the middle of it is decorated with love for the daughters of Jerusalem." THE PILLARS OF THE HUMANITY OF JESUS CHRIST ARE OF SILVER. HIS COUCH, WHICH IS THE DIVINE NATURE OF CHRIST, IS MADE OF GOLD. THE ASCENT, OR THE ENTRY WAY, SPEAKS OF THE JOURNEY OF JESUS CHRIST. THE MIDDLE OF THE ROYAL CHARIOT IS DECORATED WITH GOLD ORNAMENTS; THIS SHOWS THAT LOVE IS THE CROWNING GLORY OF ALL THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT. JESUS CHRIST CONTAINS ALL THE TREASURES OF WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE IN THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. So this is a very long story but I am going to make it as short as I possibly can. I must also apologize I am new, this is my first post, and I am unaware of the political/religious beliefs/boundaries you all have. I'm also not sure if this was the correct place to post something like this. In June I was diagnosed with an incurable disease and it has basically devastated every part of my life. I have put my life on pause for now as I am on a spiritual journey. My past consists of a very spirit filled family but much tragedy. My family used to consist of a pretty good number of people but because of disease many people died far too early. All of these tragedies happened before I was born but all of the miraculous events also happened before I was born. So the faith I have always had was more like "belief." Which consisted of the basics. Fast forward 25 years, I myself am a chemical engineer, so when I found out I was sick I intially turned to my mind and exhausted every possible option that mankind has to offer which left me back at square 1. I figured I was like the story of the guy who gets lost at sea and prays to God to save him, while a boat and a kayak come up to pull the guy out of the water, he says no no God will save me, he drowns, asks God why he didn't save him and God says, I tried. So I turned to God in September which was in the midst of what can only be described as the worst depression that you can imagine. I lost 30 pounds in a mater of a couple weeks, wasnt eating, was so anxious I couldnt sleep for days, I would pace like a lion at home, constant racing thoughts and I was so suicidal I thought of myself as too worthless to even kill myself, all I would be is a further burden. Fast forward a bit, saw a counselor which helped and started to meet with multiple religious figures and spiritual learders weekly. So I went further into it (faith). My prayer life started to increase and things, coincidences, which I hear don't exist with people of faith, started to happen regularly. Thankfully my family has ties to many still living spiritual people, one in particular, prayed for me and in the middle busted out in tongues which I had never experienced or heard before and he was the only person I had a physical manifestation from after his prayer, 5 or 6 surges, kind of like goosbumps, but very quickly all in a row. I had further medical testing done which could not pick up the previously detected disease, however still left room for error. I took to scripture as I did science, reading and researching, studying all I could. After enough preparation I performed a self-deliverance which rid me of all the voices and constant thoughts in my head. Which I was told sounds like a successful deliverance. I prayed, almost constantly, almost every waking moment of the day I was praying or studying scripture. "Things" really started to happen (which if anyone cares to know I'll post as a response I have a directive for right now). I had joined a bible study group and they had been pushing me to be baptized for weeks and weeks. I was resistant, I was still somewhat suicidal, and when I make a commitment to something as big as baptism I don't quit, and my battle wasnt that I could quit on God, but quit on life. I also wanted it to be genuine, I didn't want to feel like I was using God to get something, which I really was all in all, but I didnt want it to feel thag way. I eventually was baptized in late Oct/early Nov. I started to research about the gifts of the holy spirit, a hot topic I soon learned, not something openly talked about. I wanted these gifts, I coveted them. Not because I wanted more from God but because, - Im not acquainted with any of you but if you have ever had something happen to you that no one can do anything about, where divine intervantion is your only option, and don't say your grandma or even your kid was sick yadda yadda, I know these things are sad, but rhere js something different when it happens to you, something innately different. This caused me to change, my whole perspective on life, you appreciate anything and everything, I havent driven in my car with the music on in 6 months, so I can look outside, feel and smell the air, your desires, aspirations, goals, and dreams all change - but because I wanted to help people. My family had two miracles happen, both to people who sadly died of other things not too long after, but both were miraculously healed of things with no medical expliantion. I not only wanted to be healed but I wanted to spread the love and the possibilities and the power that is God. Just before thanksgiving I began speaking in tongues, so for all you doubters, its real, its not fake, and I have even recorded and looked up some phrases that I noticed I kept repeating, and they turned out to be real words in other languages. These languages changed, from Italian all the way to Japanese. Mind you all I speak is a little bit if German, and fluent English and pig latin....ha. I was practicing this daily, yes you can voluntarily do it, its some not power that takes over your body, I would do it and shortly after I would be exhausted no matter what time it was and I would have vivid dreams if I spoke in tongues before I fell asleep. For me to remember my dreams was highly unusual. Then I started to do it less and almost not at all last week. Then last Friday I decided to do it right before I went to sleep, I didnt do it for very long, just something quick and I ended up having the most intense dream I have ever had. A dream within a dream, which I have never had before, and it had the D....the devil in it. (A pretty detailed summary of that I also have if you're interested and I would be interested especially if someone on here has the ability to interpret dreams). So now what I wrote all of this for, I am looking for a legitimate, credible, person with the gift of healing. Not exactly found in the yellow pages. Don't direct me to any of these televangelists, Binny Hinn, and all his wannabees. These people are frauds, Matthew 10:8 "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." Jesus was humble, he didn't broadcast his abilities, his apostles did, the believers did, and he didn't turn anyone away. I have found some in my couple months of searching. These are people you won't find on TV or on the news or in a legal investigation. These are humble quiet people in regular houses with no microphones, no radio stations, and lead the average life. The man who prayed over me believes he has the gift of healing. I found an elderly woman who has documented healings near me. I also found out about a lutheran pastor on the East coast after pulling my own pastor's teeth if he knew someone, apparently he knows another but this guy's job could be injeopardy if it got out. Apparently much of the modern church is against people being relieved of suffering at the hand of those blessed with spreading the work of God. I live in the Chicago suburbs, so in that general area would be nice, but this isnt just finding a good pizza place, this is to ascertain a miracle, I'll go anywhere. If you would need to contact me perosnally we can figure that out, not sure how lol, but I don't intend on having anyone's name blasted out who prefers privacy. Thank you for your time, this platform, and your help. God bless.
  21. Luke 1:35 - The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God." We need to ask Him for a release of devine hunger that will drive us deeper into Him. Like Mary, it is simply through intimacy, engaging the realm of heaven, and declaring what we see and hear that brings heaven to earth. As Mary received Christ into her physical Body, we have received Jesus into our spirits. As she birthed Christ, our quest is to see Jesus unfettered from the womb of our religion about Him. Our destiny is not just to carry Christ inside but to reveal the fullness of His glory in this world. Mark 16:15 - He said to them, "Go to the whole world and preach the gospel to all mankind." Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." One of the most crucial areas in which believers fall short in is pressing into God. Many pray briefly about decisions, then merely do what seems like common sense, not acquiring the mind of the Lord at all. But God must be sought. The temptation, when we first pray about something is to lose heart, or give up. But God will speak clearly to us if we press into Him. Often it is necessary to pray until you feel (and know) your spirit is breaking through. Affirmations: I CONFESS THAT I LIVE "IN" FAITH. I WILL NEVER RELINQUISH THE DREAM HE HAS PUT IN MY HEART. I WILL STAY IN THIS PLACE; I WILL USE MY FAITH; I WILL BE STEADFAST, UNWAVERING, AND COMMITTED TO SEEING HIS PROMISES COME TO PASS IN MY LIFE. BECAUSE I HAVE MADE THIS DECISION, I AM A PERSON WHO PLEASES GOD. Song of Solomon 3:2 - "I will rise now and go about the streets of the city. In the highways I will seek him whom I love. I sought him but did not find him." SINCE YOU NO LONGER FIND YOUR BELOVED (JESUS) IN YOUR RESTING PLACE, YOU ARE PERSUADED TO LOOK FOR HIM. THE CITY, WHICH IS THE WORLD, WILL BE WHERE YOU NOW LOOK FOR HIM. AS YOU LOOK IN VAIN YOU MAY BECOME OCCUPIED WITH THE WORLD WHILE YOU USE THE EXCUSE THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR YOUR BELOVED. YOU DO NOT FIND HIM BECAUSE HE WISHES YOU TO SEEK HIM IN HIMSELF. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  22. 1 Corinthians 15:24 - "Then the end will come; Christ will overcome all spiritual rulers, authorities, and powers, and hand over the Kingdom to God the Father." THIS IS THE HUMILITY OF CHRIST -- WHAT HE CONQUERS, HE THEN SURRENDERS. IN HUMILITY ABRAHAM TAKES ISAAC, AND OFFERS HIM BACK TO GOD. DAVID CONQUERS JERUSALEM, THEN DEDICATES IT TO THE LORD, CALLING IT THE "CITY OF GOD". WHAT WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH THROUGH FAITH WE NOW OFFER BACK TO GOD. John 16:13 - "However, when He comes who is the Spirit of truth, he will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but will tell only what He hears; and He will make known to you the things that are coming." The deep things of God are known only to Him, but are revealed to us through His Spirit. That is the promise of 1 Corinthians 2. Indisputably, our great desire is to soar in the Spirit and obtain revelations of God's nature, power, strategy, and insight. However, to best accommodate this great privilege, we must be firmly "rooted and grounded" in Him. We must "Go deep in order to go high!" WE MUST BE: 1. Rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17). 2. Rooted and grounded in faith (Understanding Christ's finished work, who we are in Christ and our inheritance in Christ.) 3. Rooted and grounded in truth (Understanding God's Purpose for our life - our CALLING in Christ.) The more firmly we are grounded, the more capable we become to penetrate Heaven by the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation and embrace insight with understanding. AFFIRMATIONS: I confess that I am led by the Spirit of God! Because I cooperate with Him, I don't waste valuable time, energy, or money, and I don't shed a lot of unnecessary tears. He leads me past every attack: He helps me avoid each strategy of the devil; and He safely guides me to the place where God wants me to be! Song of Solomon 2:11 - "For lo! the winter is past, the rain is over and gone." YOU COULD HAVE FROZEN FROM THE EXCESSIVE COLD OR BEEN OVERWHELMED BY THE SNOWS AND STORMS OF SINS. INSTEAD, YOU BECOME STRONG DURING THE TIME WHEN YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED THE LORD WITHIN WHILE THE STORMS WERE RAGING WITHOUT. THE COLD HAS DESTROYED ALL THE INSECTS - THAT IS, THINGS THAT WERE FORMERLY ACTIVE IN YOU AND WOULD HAVE DESTROYED YOU. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  23. Wow! The Holy Spirit is to be acknowledged as a person at all times. Why? Because He is. I didn't understand what it meant for the the Holy Spirit to be the access point to Jesus until the closer I think I am to Jesus, the more the Holy Spirit shows me that there is a process to get to the King. Firstly, it is important that we get to know who the person of the Holy Spirit is. In my experience, He is the 'information center' who is willing to reveal all that one needs to know 'if' we are obedient to His instructions. I say this because the Holy Spirit speaks to us everyday; He answers questions, comforts us and guides us in all things but our obedience to His voice is what really determines whether He can trust us to share even more truths with us. He speaks to us in our dreams While I understood that the Holy Spirit will teach us everything and remind us of all that Jesus has spoken John 14:26, it was only two months ago that I learn that He is the One who has given all of us our dreams. There are different kinds of dreams; some are for warning, some are prophetic and some are for making intercessions etc. But for us to identify the kind of dreams we have it will take more than our physical understanding to interpret such. I wasn't able to distinguish my dreams until after a few months of spending time with the Holy Spirit. He knows every person from our past and those who are in our lives presently The Holy Spirit uses people who we are familiar with to bring across His message in our dreams. Though I always understood that He does that, I never appreciated its importance until the Lord showed me in my dream someone I knew from High School but only keep in touch through social media. But as there is no partiality with God Romans 2:11, He revealed that this person was very troubled and in that case I was to make an intercession. Not surprisingly, when I reached out to the young lady on Facebook, she confessed the exact, and I repeat THE EXACT issue that the Holy Spirit had shown me in my dream. Isn't our God amazing!? It was in that moment of confession that I recognized that our dreams are probably the most common medium through which the Holy Spirit speaks. Continual Fellowship strengthens the Holy Spirit's trust in us We will rarely find ourselves sharing very sensitive information with strangers. It is the same with the Holy Spirit. He will put us through all kinds of tests to see how trustworthy we are and two ways to show our trustworthiness is by being obedient and engaging in prayer and worship. I cannot help but emphasize the word obedience, after-all the bible states that Obedience is better than sacrifice, a listening ear than the fat of rams, 1 Samuel 15:22. So I found that the more I worship, the further the Holy Spirit takes me into the spiritual realm. I am truly humbled to know this much more to experience it. All honor and praise to the Holy Spirit. Continual Repentance It is so important that we repent of our sins daily as we serve a holy God. As for me I sin everyday - not only by my deeds but by my very thoughts. Getting to know the Holy Spirit speaks to understanding His standards and meeting His expectations according to the Word of God. I struggle at times to be consistent in worship and reading the word but thanks be to God He understands that the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak Matthew 26:41. Therefore the Holy Spirit being fully aware of our weaknesses just wants us to seek cleansing so He may continue to work through us as He so desires. I can do nothing without the Holy Spirit. I literally ache in the spirit if I ever feel like I've disappointed Him. How can you tell that you have disappointed the Holy Spirit? Let me hear from you...
  24. I have observed quite a number of developing trends in our churches that beg the frightening question of who we are worshiping. Common among those trends are the tendency of persons to spend more time on their cell phones than they do in worship and the tendency to 'make an entrance' when entering the sanctuary. I can't help but ask myself - What kind of message are we sending to the world as Christians? I'll begin this discussion with an understanding of the word 'worship'. Worship is derived from the Old English word 'Woerthship' which means to give worth to something. So when we worship God, we give worth to Him. Sadly, it appears that the saints are giving worth to other things in the house of the Lord. Here I will identify two obvious reasons that are rather disturbing to fathom but as it is a reality within the churches I will make mention of them today. The 'cellphone syndrome' We all need to communicate with others over the phone for different reasons. But I find it very disrespectful for the saints to perpetually excuse themselves from the sermon to be on the outside messaging and talking for an extensive period. Not that it is anybody's business to know the nature of these conversations, but when it happens more often than not I'm afraid that we are sending the wrong message to our unsaved visitors. Do we not show reverence to the Lord anymore? I especially observe this trend among our young people of which group I am a part. I fail to believe that our young people use their discretion for they excuse themselves in large numbers at once. It appears that the cellphones get the 'worth' that should have been given to God and therefore it automatically becomes the god that is worshiped. Our God has feelings too. I am more concerned about His feelings than I am with the reputation of the church. For many saints, the time spent in the house of the Lord is the longest and sometimes only time spent with God. If the latter is the case then all the more reason why He deserves our undivided attention. Let's face it, three hours of prayer and worship is the least we can give to God considering all that He does for us on a daily basis. The church needs to be careful not to provoke the Holy Spirit and not to send the wrong message to those who are lost and in need of our guidance. The problem with 'making an entrance' By now many of us would have realized that persons go to church for different reasons; to spectate, to see friends, to wear a nice suit and a few to seek God. There are many other reasons but these are the few I could think of today. Having said that, there are many within the church who perpetually make an entrance under the influence of a 'disruptive spirit' I suppose. This trend may not be very evident in the larger churches, but as my church is small the trend is becoming more noticeable. Saints are not only expected to be present for sermons but are expected to be there on time. It is very distasteful when visitors arrive in the sanctuary before the members do and to make matters worse, our visitors are distracted each time someone walks through the aisle to take a seat. What about respecting the time of the Holy Spirit? I understand that anyone can be late but when the same persons have heads spinning each week, their actions shift from just being late to 'making an entrance'. Leaders are often times included and I don't just mean Pastors, Bishops, Deacons etc. I mean any person within the church body who demonstrates his leadership abilities in even the smallest possible way. Why are persons making an entrance? It is certainly not because of a desire to be noticed by God but rather 'god', who is seated somewhere in the sanctuary. This is one of the reasons why it is increasingly harder to convince an unsaved or even a backslider to return to God. These groups of persons are understandably confused by the double standards that exist within the church. No wonder there is a growing number of non-denominational Christians in our societies today. The church has a voice and we want to be heard, but let us consider addressing some of the ongoing issues among ourselves before we advocate for modesty and decency anywhere else. These are two growing trends that I have observed in church. Have you observed any other?
  25. Matthew 16:19 - "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." WHEN WE DO NOT LIVE IN OUR POSITION OF AUTHORITY, IT IS BECAUSE WE DO NOT RECOGNIZE OR ACCEPT OUR CALLING IN CHRIST, BECAUSE WE DO NOT KNOW OUR COVENANT RIGHTS. MAN'S REDEMPTION ALLOWS HIM TO HAVE DOMINION. AFFIRMATIONS AND DECLARATIONS: I perform a prophetic act and decree that every door (that impedes my CALLING in Christ) that is locked is now unlocked and open! I decree that my words from God are yes and amen. Today, I am encouraging myself in the Lord. What He has spoken will come to pass. I decree that I have a courageous heart like David and that as he did, I completely surrender my life to My God. I praise my God in all that He does. Matthew 13:31,32 - "The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field: it is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches." JUST AS THE GRAIN OF MUSTARD SEED THAT, BY REASON OF ITS INTENSE HEAT, GROWS INTO A LARGE TREE, THE SOUL BEHOLDS ITSELF CONVERTED INTO THE IMMENSE FIRE OF LOVE THAT EMANATES FROM THAT ENKINDLED POINT AT THE HEART OF THE SPIRIT. Song of Solomon 2:3 - "As an appletree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under the shadow of him whom I desired, and his fruit was sweet to my taste." THE BELOVED (JESUS) IS THE MOST PLEASING SIGHT IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH. HIS BRIDE SITS UNDER THE SHADOW OF HIS PROTECTION. HIS FRUIT, EVEN THE FRUIT OF THE CROSS, IS SWEET TO TASTE. THIS FRUIT IS NOT SWEET TO THE FLESH, BUT TO THE SPIRIT. ONCE TASTED, IT IS MORE DESIRABLE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
