There is a river of healing life which flows directly from the throne of God in Heaven. Its healing and restorative properties bring life to everything it touches and this river is designed by the Father to heal the nations. "Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal nations." Revelation 22:1-2 NLT This supernatural river with healing properties flows from the throne and needs to be released on the earth from the supernatural realm into the natural. We as individuals are the gateway through which this healing river is released. We already have access to everything we need to bring healing to the nations. As the world grows darker, people are desperate for a move of God to sweep the nations and bring restoration. The Father is going to light His Church with the baptism of fire and the Holy Spirit is going to move greatly in both corporate meetings and personal prayer life. Faithful prayer warriors are imperative for their role in birthing this fresh move of God by releasing the river of healing life into the atmosphere. JESUS SAID RIVERS WOULD FLOW THROUGH US Jesus said that out of our innermost being would flow rivers of living water. We are the temple of the living God and the wells of life are going to spring forth from our innermost being and bring an abundance of joy. "Anyone who believes in Me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, 'Rivers of living water will flow from his heart." John 7:38 NLT Life flows through the heart as the Holy Spirit is engaged. It is the force of the Holy Spirit that will change the business as usual attitude and bring the shaking that is so desperately needed. There is going to be a shift from the programs and structures that have confined the Church from FREEDOM and SOAKING IN HIS PRESENCE. There is an urgency arising in the Body that every person prioritize their Kingdom CALLING. This is obedience to God. He is worthy of it all and what matters is that we are using everything that God has given us. "There will be swarms of living things wherever the water of this river flows. Fish will abound in the Dead Sea, for its waters will become fresh. Life will flourish wherever this water flows." Ezekiel 47:9 NLT The river of healing life will spill out from prayer closets and buildings into communities, cities and even nations will be shaken. Where once there was restriction and lack, there will be abundance and overflow in lives and the land. People will come alive in the river. Healing evangelism will harvest throughout the nations of the world as the favor of God is released upon the earth in a new and mighty way. THE TIME IS NOW! Jesus is inviting His Bride into deeper intimacy with Him as Heaven releases a new song. It is time for business as usual to be shaken. It is time to let go of the programs and schedules that have confined the fire of God and move to the next level of abandonment in Christ. Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." The verse does not say that faith is the evidence of things that do not exist. God says what He has promised is already a reality. Yet it won't become a manifested reality in my life until I believe it is real before I see it -- through fully trusting Him and His word. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 - "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the pulling down of strongholds". What men call "salvation" is simply the first stage of God's plan for our lives, which is to conform us in character and power to the image of Jesus Christ. If we fail to see our relationship to God as such, we will allow old ways of thinking (strongholds) to remain unchanged. Affirmations: GOD'S WORD IS STRONGER THAN ANY STRONGHOLD! THE WORD OF GOD CAN BECOME THE STRONG TOWER IN MY LIFE THAT CAN DEMOLISH STRONGHOLDS. THE LORD THROUGH HIS WORD CAN PUSH OUT THAT SATANIC FORCE THAT'S BEEN HOLDING ME CAPTIVE. I FIND THE WORD OF GOD THAT APPLIES TO MY STRONGHOLD AND SATURATE MYSELF IN IT BY:AFFIRMING IT FREQUENTLY, MEDITATING ON IT AND SEEING MYSELF COMPLETE IN THE WORD AS I GO THROUGHOUT THE DAY. I THANK GOD THAT THE STRONGHOLD HAS BEEN DEMOLISHED AS I CAST DOWN ANY WRONG THOUGHTS. Song of Solomon 4:4 - "Your neck is like the tower of David, built up with bulwarks, a thousand shields hang upon it, all the armor of the mighty men."THE WEAKER YOU ARE IN YOURSELF, THE STRONGER YOU ARE IN GOD. THE NECK IS THE STRENGTH OF THE SOUL. HERE THE NECK IS COMPARED TO THE TOWER OF DAVID BECAUSE YOUR ONLY TRUE STRENGTH IS IN GOD. DAVID REPRESENTS THE HOUSE OF JESUS CHRIST. "Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, 'repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.'" - Matthew 3:1,2 The Word of God demonstrates instances where men and women of God were used to bring heavenly interruptions. Think of David interrupting the broadcast of a ranting demonic giant with breaking news of victory, or the prayers and petitions of a king and a heavenly interruption of worship rising on the battlefield in 2 Chronicles 20 that ushered in confusion and defeat among the enemy armies. Jesus' disciples were commissioned by Him to be heavenly interrupters. We are conduits for heavenly interruptions. We are designed to interrupt the regularly scheduled program of sickness, disease, poverty, bondage, and brokenness with breaking news of the fullness of God. God deals with us on a personal level to interrupt someone's regularly scheduled program of sickness or depression outside the four walls of the Church and bring them breaking news of a Kingdom that is at hand. The question is – are we willing to be interrupted by Heaven to bring a Heavenly interruption to those needing a touch from the Father? Be a conduit for His glory. You were made for more! Romans 8:13,16 - "For if I live after the flesh, I shall die; but if I through the spirit to mortify the deeds of the body, I shall live. The Holy Spirit bears witness with my spirit, that I am a child of God." Affirmation: I DOMINATE MY MIND AND MY BODY WITH MY SPIRIT SINCE I MAINTAIN MY SPIRIT PROPERLY - FEEDING, STRENGTHENING, AND DOMINATING MY INNER MAN WITH THE WORD. LET US DECLARE: 1. That I will come into a greater revelation of the restored relationship I have with our Heavenly Father (Gods PURPOSE for my life - my CALLING in Christ) and His Kingdom through the Cross! 2. That in revelation of my sonship I will occupy the full authority I have in the earth and bring all of creation back into subjection to the dominion of the King! 3. My environment will be forever changed as I pray, say and do what the Father shows me and I see Heaven invade every place I go and everyone I meet. "Enoch walked with God until He was not for God took him." - Genesis 5:24 Just as Enoch walked with God and was being raptured into secret places of intimacy until he disappeared, we must walk in intimacy and discipleship with Jesus until we disappear and all that can be seen is Him in us. Paul declares that when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away and what was hidden is now revealed (2 Corinthians 3:16). The phrase "shall be taken away" is actually one Greek word which means "to remove all around, to unveil and cast off an anchor, and take away or up". When our Bridegroom reveals Himself to us through intimate communion as we walk with Him, anchors that have kept us "stuck" will begin to be lifted as we are raptured in intimacy with Him. The more He reveals Himself and the more we become like Him, our mortality is swallowed up in the victory of His life (2 Corinthians 5:5; Isaiah 25:8). It is in the secret place that we learn how to die to self and become His habitation and manifest the fruit of our CALLING in Christ and "the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints" - Ephesians 1:18 Matthew 21:18,19,21 - On his way back to the city, early next morning, Jesus was hungry. He saw a fig tree by the side of the road and went to it, but found nothing on it except leaves. So he said to the tree, "You will never again bear fruit!" At once the fig tree dried up. "Remember this!" Jesus answered. "If you believe, and do not doubt, you will be able to do what I have done to this fig tree." He is taking you into a new faith realm where miracles happen and mountains move and dreams and words are fulfilled in this time. This realm is His Kingdom in you; this is dominion, your CALLING in Christ, your place in His Kingdom. So step in, step out of the boat and walk on the water in this New Faith Realm—ONLY BELIEVE and you will receive. Observation: THERE MAY BE SOME THINGS IN MY LIFE THAT I NEED TO CURSE, BECAUSE THOSE THINGS ARE HINDERING ME FROM BEARING FRUIT FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Rom 1:17 - "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith.'" Affirmations: I SPEAK GODS PROMISES INTO MY HEART EVERY DAY. I PLANT FAITH AS A SEED BY RELEASING IT IN WORDS. I SPEAK ONLY THOSE THINGS THAT I WANT TO GROW IN MY LIFE. "YOUR SPEECH," HE ADDS, "IS SWEET." THE HEART HAS A LANGUAGE THAT NO ONE BUT GOD CAN UNDERSTAND. SOMETHING WITHIN YOU SPEAKS ONLY TO HIM. Jeremiah 1:12 - "Then said the Lord unto me, you have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that My Word is fulfilled." Jesus is our family lawyer (1 John 2:1). He ever lives to watch over those for whom He died and suffered. We hold fast our confession. Our confession has been of our position in Christ, of our legal rights as a child of God, of what He is to us now.Jesus is the Surety (guarantor) (Hebrews 7:22) of every word from Matthew 1 to Revelation 22. AFFIRMATION: I have the abiding Word and the ability of God active inside of me because God Himself is active inside of me, watching to make sure that His Word is fulfilled for me. So if I act on the Word, God will watch that Word to see that it comes to pass in whatever way I need it to come to pass. He is watching over my situation, because He is watching over His word! Luke 1:37 - "For with God nothing is ever impossible, and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment." Luke 1:28,31 - "And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus." WE ARE NEW CREATURES IN A NEW CREATION. THERE IS NOT A DIFFERENT JESUS IN US THAN HE WHO DWELLS IN HEAVEN. HE IS CHRIST WRAPPED IN GLORY IN HEAVEN; HE IS CHRIST WRAPPED IN OUR HUMAN FLESH ON EARTH. IT IS HERE, IN THIS CARRYING OF THE ACTUAL PRESENCE OF CHRIST WITHIN US, THAT WE SHARE WITH MARY THE AWE OF GOD'S PURPOSE FOR US. THE WILL KISSES WITH AFFECTION THAT WHICH IT LOVES. AS YOUR WILL COMES TO LOVE GOD ALONE, ALL YOUR AFFECTION IS TOWARD HIM. THE AFFECTIONS ARE REUNITED IN A SINGLE-HEARTED LOVE FOR GOD. "Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you." - Zechariah 9:12 There are those who have been faithful, standing upon the promises of the Father. They have contended for and have walked in obedience toward the things that God has called them to, even though it seems as thoughwar has broken out against them -- they are experiencing extreme heartache and despair. "Though an army besiege me my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident." - Psalm 27:3 Keep your eyes on the Lord. Feast on His goodness, and know that even now your Redeemer is preparing a table of feasting for you in the very presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5). REST IN THE LOVE OF THE FATHER This is a time to go deeper into the Father's rest; for rest is a form of warfare. Be assured: the Lord is fighting your battles, even as you take time to rest in Him. The battle is not yours, but the Lord's (see 1 Samuel 17:47). As you let go and let God, you will begin to see His hand at work in your life. The Lord is going to uproot lies and fears that have once found a lodging place in your heart and mind. Pick up your hope, and remember that His perfect love casts out all fear. The Lord is renewing the minds and thought processes that have not lined up with the truth of the Father's heart. He is bringing His people out of Egypt and out of a slavery mentality. You will no longer feel hemmed in and confined; the Lord Himself is bringing you into a new, spacious place! PUT ON NEW GARMENTS Watch as He crowns you with a crown of beauty and washes away despair."I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For He has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of His righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." - Isaiah 61:10 As it is written in Psalm 24:9, "Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in." The Lord is rising on your behalf, and your victory is certain! Align your thoughts and your words with the promises of the Lord. Prophesy to the dead bones, "Come alive," for He is about to change everything. The areas of your greatest disappointments will soon be flooded with new life. Your breakthrough is near! Luke 9:38-40 - "A man shouted from the crowd. 'Teacher! Look, I beg you, at my son - my only son! A spirit attacks him with a sudden shout and throws him into a fit, so that he foams at the mouth; it keeps on hurting him and will hardly let him go! I begged your disciples to drive it out, but they couldn't.'" OBSERVATION: I can't put the Word into action successfully without making it a reality in my spirit man. If the Word is a reality only in my head or mind, feelings will get in the way of my acting on the Word. But if the Word is real in my heart, I have an anchor to hold me steady when the storms of feelings and emotions try to shipwreck me.Matthew 14:29 - "Come!" answered Jesus. So Peter got out of the boat and started walking on the water to Jesus. When he noticed the wind, however, he was afraid and started to sink down in the water. Matthew 11:29 - "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Affirmations: TODAY I STOP FIGHTING WITH GOD AND LEARN FROM HIM! I LET HIS WORD PUT TO DEATH THE TORMENTS OF THE SIN NATURE. I CEASE STRUGGLING; I CEASE WRESTLING AGAINST THE BLESSED ONE FOR I AM COMMITTED TO SURRENDER. MY REST COMES FROM BECOMING HONEST ABOUT MY NEEDS AND ALLOWING CHRIST TO CHANGE ME. Observation: THROUGH SURRENDER, MY GOAL IS TO EXTEND THE KINGDOM OF GOD TO EARTH. FAITH IN THE PROMISES OF GOD BRINGS TO EARTH HEAVEN'S PROVISIONS; SURRENDER BRINGS GOD'S PRESENCE INTO THOSE PROVISIONS.Matthew 6:10 - "Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Song of Solomon 4:1 - "How beautiful you are, my love; how beautiful you are! You have doves' eyes, besides what is hid within. Your hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Mt. Gilead."THE HAIR, REPRESENTING THE AFFECTION THAT SPRINGS FROM THE SPIRIT, SEPARATES YOU FROM EARTHLY TIES. SINGLE-HEARTED LOVE FOR GOD RISES ABOVE THE MOST EXCELLENT GIFTS UNTIL IT ARRIVES AT GOD HIMSELF. IN THIS WAY, ABANDONED LOVE FOR GOD RESEMBLES THE GOATS THAT FIND THEIR WAY UP THE STEEPEST MOUNTAIN. Acts 16:26 - "And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed." We are challenged in the New Testament to see God at work in the midst of our trials so that incredible positive outcomes are secured. Isn't this what Paul and Silas "saw" in the darkest hour with bleeding backs and bound in the prison stocks? The Holy Spirit is promising us that in these days we are going to begin to "see" the invisible God at work in ways that we have not recognized before. This spiritual insight is what distinguishes this "Holy Spirit optimism" from the mere "power of positive thinking". Observation: I HAVE BEEN "DOING TIME" (IN THE PRISON OF MY MIND), BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN DECEIVED BY THE DEVIL. HE HAS TRICKED ME INTO BELIEVING THAT I CAN'T BE FORGIVEN AND THAT GOD DOESN'T LOVE ME ANYMORE.Isaiah 55:7 - "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." John 1:1,9 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word was the true light that enlightens all men; and he was coming into the world." No one can stop the language of God because God's words are creative. They are full of power. Affirmations: WHEN I SPEAK THE LANGUAGE OF GOD FROM MY HEART, I AM AGREEING WITH GOD, AND NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO ME. I AM FULL OF LIFE AND POWER TOO WHEN I LET THOSE WORDS ABIDE IN ME. Song of Solomon 4:1 - "How beautiful you are, my love; how beautiful you are! You have doves' eyes, besides what is hid within."YOUR EYES, IN FAITHFULNESS AND SIMPLICITY, ARE LIKE THOSE OF DOVES. To be partakers of a fresh overcoming anointing we need to see beyond closed doors. The Key of David is the key that unlocks and opens doors that appear closed and also to lock doors so that the enemy can no longer find entrance. "These are the words of Him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open." - Revelation 3:7 This key is connected to the Keys of the Kingdom that are given to us as Believers. When Peter received the revelation that Jesus was, "...the Christ, the Son of the living God," (Matthew 16:16), Jesus gave Peter (the disciples and us as well!) the keys to the Kingdom with the ability to bind and loose. "I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in Heaven." - Matthew 16:19 (Amp) Notice that when we use these keys, we can only legally bind on earth what is already bound in Heaven, and what we legally loose on earth must be already loosed in Heaven. EXAMPLE: Sickness is not in Heaven; therefore, I bind sickness; it has no legal right to be here! Or: There is no poverty in Heaven; poverty has been loosed from Heaven. Therefore, I bind poverty and loose my financial breakthrough! RISE UP AND OVERCOME God is continually speaking to our potential. He has spoken promise after promise either through His Word, through a prophet, a dream, a vision or through revelation concerning each of our futures. Yet, what is our response when we are up against a wall of opposition? We must begin to rise up and overcome! We must use our keys, see beyond what seems closed and impossible, and speak to every mountain that attempts to discourage us or cause us to doubt what God has promised. BOLDLY DECREE THE FOLLOWING: I perform a prophetic act and decree that every door (that impedes my CALLING in Christ) that is locked is now unlocked and open! I decree that my words from God are yes and amen. Today, I am encouraging myself in the Lord. What He has spoken will come to pass. I decree that I have a courageous heart like David and that as he did, I completely surrender my life to My God. I will praise my God in all that He does. In Jesus' name, amen! John 15:16 - Jesus said, "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit -- fruit that will last. Ask the Lord to come into your vineyard. Let Him prophetically reveal to you the fruit you are going to bring forth in the future. Enter into His PURPOSE for your life. We must desire to fully finish the course--in such a manner as to hear the Lord say, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Our greatest opportunity of all time to walk with God and be His messengers. Do you have the message? Are you beholding the glory of the Lord? Can others behold His glory on you? Affirmation: GOD HAS CALLED ME, AND HE HAS AN APPOINTED PLACE FOR ME (MY CALLING IN CHRIST). GOD WANTS ME IN A PLACE OF DIVINE APPOINTMENTS. HE WANTS ME IN THE PLACE OF DIVINE BLESSINGS TO OTHERS. HE WANTS ME IN THE PLACE OF DIVINE MIRACLES, DIVINE PROVISION, AND DIVINE PROTECTION. "NOW, AFTER this,......Ezra went up from Babylon, and the king granted him all he requested because the hand of the Lord his God was upon him." - Ezra 1:7,6 When does this happen? NOW! This verse says, "Now after this...". The time is now. God is a now God and this is a now word! It's a now time and a now season. The Church needs to arise because we are now in a new time! Take your eyes off of the "this" and put them on the "after"! Do you have a vision? If not, you better get one! Habakkuk 2:2 says, "Write the vision..."Proverbs 29:18 says, "Without a vision, the people perish." How can God give you provision for the vision if you don't have a vision? Write the vision so you can operate in the PROVISION! Once you have this godly game plan—a strategy—you can trust God to fulfill it. He will give you more than you ask for, over and above anything you can ask, think or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). There will be so much, in fact, that God has a contingency plan! This is for you to do what you know to be in alignment with God's will with the extra that He gives you—above and beyond your budget—even exceeding your vision! God trusts you to do what is right. Because He has trusted you with the little, He can trust you with the big! He knows He can trust you with the PROVISION! He will give you what you NEED to SUCCEED in the "after"! Many Believers live in fear of the powers of darkness. Many are plagued by the spirit of suicide and death, discouragement and depression, sickness, lack, poverty, and failure. Many are caught in the vicious cycle of defeat, circling around the valleys of despair and can't seem to find their way out. Many have been oppressed by the enemy for a prolonged period of time. It's been many years and many seasons of great grief and loss. You've been under such a weight of the enemy you couldn't break the chains off. You've prayed, you've seen counselors, you've tithed, you've done everything you know to do and your strength is depleting. Some are plagued by consistent nightmares and bad dreams that leave you waking up in a cold sweat. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." - Hebrews 13:8 Declare that today is the day of your salvation and deliverance! Declare today a severance from every assignment of the enemy over your life! Freedom is now! Break every shackle and every chain now! Proverbs 20:27 - "The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly." As we begin to cry out from a deep engaging of the Spirit of the living God within our spirits, we experience the communion of the Holy Spirit, which is a place of deep to deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit searches out the deep counsel of God for you and reveals it to you. OBSERVATION: If I am sensitive to my spirit, the Lord will tell me what to pray about. He will alert me to those things that need to be addressed in prayer. I become sensitive to my spirit by meditating on spiritual things at all times -- by meditating on the Lord, on His goodness, on His greatness, and on His Word. AFFIRMATIONS:Out of His glorious riches He strengthens me with power through His Spirit in my inner man. (Ephesians 3:16) I receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. (Ephesians 1:17) The same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwells in me. So, therefore, I walk in His Kingdom power. I walk in the Presence of the Lord, in step with Him. His fire surrounds me and His Glory dwells within me. My speech demonstrates the power of God’s Spirit in my life. (I Corinthians 2:4) "God put His stamp of ownership (seal)on you by giving you the Holy Spirit he had promised...so that your minds may be opened to see His light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you...and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. This power in us is the same as the mighty strength which he used when he raised Christ from death." - Ephesians 1:13,18-20 To be sealed means to be stamped with an image. That means, when we were born again, we were stamped with the likeness of the Anointed One. We were made to look like the Lord Jesus Christ on the inside. OBSERVATION: Shall we stop short of what He says we ought to be -- shall we cease to come into line with the Mind which is always thinking for our best -- shall we cease to humble ourselves before him who took the way of the cross for us -- shall we cease to withhold ourselves from Him.Can a true believer come to God today without a cry to God to make them, as it were, flames of fire?God shall endue you in that you won't be satisfied until you feel the very members of your body on fire with a Spirit-kindled PURPOSE. Song of Solomon 3:10 - "He made the pillars of silver and the couch of gold. the ascent is of purple and the middle of it is decorated with love for the daughters of Jerusalem." THE PILLARS OF THE HUMANITY OF JESUS CHRIST ARE OF SILVER. HIS COUCH, WHICH IS THE DIVINE NATURE OF CHRIST, IS MADE OF GOLD. THE ASCENT, OR THE ENTRY WAY, SPEAKS OF THE JOURNEY OF JESUS CHRIST. THE MIDDLE OF THE ROYAL CHARIOT IS DECORATED WITH GOLD ORNAMENTS; THIS SHOWS THAT LOVE IS THE CROWNING GLORY OF ALL THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT.JESUS CHRIST CONTAINS ALL THE TREASURES OF WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE IN THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD. Many have been experiencing intense pressure in their personal lives and in their ministries! Families and finances may have been under attack and many believers may have felt like giving up! These attacks have formed a layer of "slate" between your current dwelling place and a next level anointing! The attacks exist to make you give up before reaching the oil of restoration and release into the next level of your CALLING! There is a "breakthrough" for those who will not relent! DESPERATION WILL BREAK THE HARD PLACES In Mark 2:4, we see what happens when determined people refuse to be separated from their miracle: "And when they could not come nigh unto Him for the press, they uncovered the roof where He was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay." The book of Luke (5:17) further explains that the reason they could not reach Jesus through conventional means is because of a large crowd, partly composed of Pharisees and doctors of the law who were sitting by. The power of the Lord was there to heal but the only recorded healing was due to people who apprehended the promise by breaking through the roof! This is a perfect picture of intercessory prayer and the power of desperation! Desperation will break through the hard places and tap into the miraculous! God told Israel in Hosea 10:12, "Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness upon you." Fallow ground is ground that had once been tilled but has been lying dormant and allowed to harden. God was speaking to Israel about a heart issue! The spirit of religion, disappointment and the pressure to please man can harden the soil of our hearts and keep us from the rich flowing rivers of a next level anointing and awakening. PERSISTENCE IS REWARDED The relentless will tap into the release -- they will uncover and uncap an untapped river of His glory and power! While the slate (hard times of heat and intense pressure) may have tried to separate many from reaching the new thing that God wants to do in them -- those who keep digging the well will be rewarded with a gusher of His oil! Mark 4:26,27 - "Jesus went on to say, 'The Kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed in his field. He sleeps at night, is up and about during the day, and all the while the seeds are sprouting and growing. Yet he does not know how it happens."' Turn away from anything that would take preeminence over your time with the Master Gardener. Allow Jesus to uproot anything in your field that hinders growth. Jesus provides water from His pierced side and again, as He promised, "You will be like a well-watered field, like a spring whose waters never fail." Living Water, "reign" down on us! Our Father promises in Revelation 21:6, "I will give to the thirsty the springs of the Water of Life--as a gift!" He says only to those who are thirsty will He give that gift.Observation: The word is a seed that contains the very life of God. When it's planted in my heart and left there, it will release that life. God's best is for me to take the seed of His word and plant it in my heart where it will naturally and effortlessly produce the changes that I desire. John 15:7,8 - "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples." Romans 13:11 - "Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; " John 4:35 - "Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest'?Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest." "Urgency of spirit" is very real today. The culmination of the ages is about to burst forth as the glory of the Lord is revealed and covers the earth.May our flesh not react to the "urgency" we feel, but may we position ourselves in Christ as we prepare our hearts—watching at His gates and waiting at His doors—so as God moves we hear and respond rightly. In the parable in Matthew 25, all ten virgins had lamps. Lamps speak of our calling in Christ, a free gift. Yet only five had bought oil. Oil speaks of the anointing to move in our CALLING -- that which comes from time spent with the Lord. There is cost involved, choices we make. May our lamps be full so when the door opens and the Lord comes in greater ways, we might be "ready" to enter into what God is doing. The five wise and the five foolish are in us—the deciding vote is ours! Are we going to be wise, or foolish? May we be prepared, poised and ready, with oil in our lamps. "Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you" (Ephesians 5:14). Song of Solomon 3:9 - "King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon." THE SON OF GOD MADE HIMSELF A CHARIOT OF HIS HUMANITY. THE THRONE OF THE KING OF KINGS IS MADE OF THE WOOD OF LEBANON. CHRIST CONSTRUCTS A THRONE FOR HIMSELF IN EVERY PERSON. HE ADORNS THIS THRONE IN GREAT SPLENDOR SO THAT HE MIGHT REIGN THERE. HE BOUGHT THIS PLACE WITHIN YOU WITH HIS BLOOD. BY HIS GRACE THIS THRONE IS MADE HOLY. The Holy Spirit’s desire is that we live every day in the fullness of the Lord, by seeing above and beyond what we can do, and that Jesus would receive glory and honor through His great power that works in us and through us. This is the essence of what Paul writes about in Ephesians 3:20, 21 - "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."We need to believe that the Lord will release to us a revelation of the unlimited realm of the great ministry and fullness of the Holy Spirit in and through our life. Praise the mighty name of Jesus who pours out the promise of the Holy Spirit to us. (Acts 2:33)! Praise the mighty name of Jesus who said, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” (John 20:21) The Father sent Jesus with an unlimited anointing of the Holy Spirit. (John 3:34). That same promise is for us.This spiritual dynamic that flows into us daily is the witness of the reality of the Holy Spirit’s power to the masses of humanity. The unlimited anointing that the Lord is pouring out reveals an even greater understanding of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. This plunges the Church into the river, which is widening the banks of spiritual realities and creating a tremendous overflow that will extend into the marketplaces of the world.As we press into this Present day empowering and equipping for the effective working of His Power in and through us on a day to day basis we need to live in a place of perpetual fresh oil -- fresh anointing of His wonderful Presence, to be a blazing lamp in the midst of the darkness of our day, that we would see the ever-increasing expansion of His Kingdom, not just in Word but also in demonstration. We must flow out of His Word and His Presence and draw from the flow of His Spirit if we are to see impact in every area of this life that surrounds us.Are you ready to be even more aggressive in the area of faith to see the impossible become possible for great and mighty things to take place? This is not a time to be fearful but be strong in the Lord in His Power and Might. Charles Spurgeon said once that he never passed a single quarter of an hour in his waking moments without a distinct consciousness of the presence of the Lord. "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might." - Ephesians 6:10 It is time for the Church to completely shake off any and every residue of a victim mentality and step into our gloriously enlightened and empowered place of authority as victors in Christ – in all things at all times. No more complaining. No more murmuring. No more self-pity. No more sniping at or criticizing each other. No more wasting our time, energy, focus and authority on the distractions and traps of the enemy. It is time to realize we are God's dominion stewards in the earth -- this is the moment for us to arise and shine and step into God's PURPOSE for our life. You are in the Great I AM – He who is always Great, always Victorious, always Present, and always Present-Tense. Your time is now. Your victory is now. Your influence and impact are now. But first, you also have a decision to make. You have to choose to see beyond what you have been through, or what you are facing, and trust in God that it is all a divine set-up. Do not believe the lies of the enemy that you are too small or too insignificant to have an impact, or you would be better off simply sitting on the sidelines until it all plays out.You are God's plan for the hour. You, standing in your divine authority as His dominion steward in the earth, are His solution in your sphere of influence. The devil wants you thinking you are pitiful. It is time to realize that in Christ you are powerful (see Ephesians 6:10). AFFIRMATIONS: I embrace the fullness of power that we have been given in Christ to change the world. (Isaiah 60:1-3). I am an empowered dominion steward in the earth, well equipped to deal with any and every situation I face. (Genesis 1:26-28) The eyes of my understanding are being enlightened, and I understand the incredible greatness of power and authority I have to affect change in the earth to the glory of the Lord. (Ephesians 1:15-23) I am bold in advancing the Kingdom in the earth – realizing I have the victory and enforce it anywhere and everywhere I see the enemy try to raise up a stronghold. (Luke 10:19, 2 Samuel 5:20) Song of Solomon 3:7,8 - "Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; sixty valiant men surround it, the valiant ones of Israel. They all hold swords, being expert in war; every man has his sword on his thigh because of fear in the night." TO REACH THE BED OF THE TRUE SOLOMON, WHICH IS GOD, YOU MUST PASS THROUGH SIXTY BRAVE SOLDIERS. THESE SOLDIERS (WHICH ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF GOD'S NATURE) CARRY THE WORD OF GOD LIKE A SWORD, SEARCH DEEPLY WITHIN YOU TO FIND OUT YOUR SECRET PRESUMPTIONS; AND THEY ARE APTLY FITTED TO DESTROY THEM. "FEAR OF THE NIGHT" -- THE NATURE OF GOD FIGHTS AGAINST ALL THAT KEEPS YOU IN DARKNESS, THAT IS, FIGHTS AGAINST YOUR SELF-NATURE WHICH TAKES FOR ITSELF ALL THAT RIGHTFULLY BELONGS TO GOD. THE GIFT OF PROPHECY VS. THE OFFICE OF PROPHET

THE GIFT OF PROPHECY "For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills." - 1 Corinthians 12:8-11 In 1 Corinthians 14, Paul encourages everyone to pursue the gift of prophecy (v. 1). The primary purpose of prophetic ministry is to strengthen, encourage, and comfort believers (v. 3). In other words, “the one who prophesies edifies the church” (v. 4). Prophecy may also bring conviction of sin to unbelievers who happen to be visiting the gathering of God’s people, as “the secrets of their hearts are laid bare” (vv. 24–25) "For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." - Revelation 19:10 We meet people everywhere. Our business is to turn them from being forgetful of God, from being devoid of faith, from being prayerless, so that they become people who habitually pray, who believe in God, remember Him and do his will. Whenever we share a testimony of what the power of Jesus has done -- any miracle, healing, salvation account -- the Spirit of prophecy is loosed over the people who are hearing it. This means the Spirit of God is actively moving on them to create faith. THE OFFICE OF PROPHET "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers," - Ephesians 4:11 God's ultimate weapon is a man or a woman who has encountered the prophetic anointing. Persons anointed with a prophetic ministry speak the word of the Lord in the name of the Lord. They carry weight in the church by virtue of the ethical, moral, and spiritual urgency of their message. Their credentials credibility, and status as prophetic vessels stem not from birth or by official designation, but by the power of their inner call and by the response of those who hear them. The single most characteristic mark of a true prophetic person is the evidence that he or she has stood in the counsel of God and has, therefore, faithfully declared what he or she heard from His mouth. In contrast to the "Gift of Prophecy" which Paul encourages all believers to pursue, the "Office of Prophet" is only given to a few chosen by God. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com -
John 6:5,7 - "So when Jesus went up into the hills and sat down with His disciples around Him, he soon saw a great multitude of people climbing the hill, looking for Him. Turning to Philip he asked. 'Philip, where can we buy bread to feed all these people?' Philip answered him, "Two hundred denarii would not buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!" Philip got caught up in thinking about the problem. He was figuring out how many people there were....how much money was in the treasury....and how much bread costs. He was so preoccupied with his own doubts and questions that the problems were speaking to him more loudly than the Lord. As a result, he answered Jesus without really listening to Him. OBSERVATION: The Lord often asks us to go beyond our abilities. Our usual response is to express our limitations -- not realizing that Jesus is asking us to place our limited ability in His hand, so He can multiply it. AFFIRMATION: WHEN I GET OUTSIDE OF MYSELF AND BEGIN TO THINK INSIDE THE WORD OF GOD, I GET OUTSIDE OF MY LIMITATIONS AND INTO THE LIMITLESS POWER OF ALMIGHTY GOD! Philippians 4:6 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Christ's presence within us is our assurance that we can live in peace, even in times of pressure and turmoil. This is the abundant life purchased for us by the broken body and spilled Blood of the Lamb of God at Calvary. He died and rose again to birth the Kingdom of God within us when we are born again. The Prince of Peace abides within us! We have a Blood-bought right to walk in uninterrupted shalom, free from all anxiety and fear, because of the living, breathing presence of Christ in our temple. Affirmations: JESUS IS MY GREAT HIGH PRIEST, AND HE IS INTERCEDING FOR ME RIGHT NOW. WITH GOD ON MY SIDE, I CAN ENJOY LIFE AS HE INTENDED FOR ME TO ENJOY IT. I BOLDLY CONFESS THAT I AM FEAR-FREE AND THAT ANXIETY HAS NO PLACE IN ME! I DECLARE THIS BY FAITH IN JESUS' NAME! Song of Solomon 3:6 - "Who is she that goes up by the wilderness, like a pillar of smoke, from the incense of myrrh, and frankincense, and all the powders of the perfumer?" YOU BECOME SO PURE IN THE ARMS OF YOUR BELOVED (JESUS) THAT YOU SEEM LIKE A BREATH OF AIR CONSUMED BY THE FIRE OF LOVE. YOUR UPRIGHTNESS IS LIKE SMOKE RISING. Mark 3:27 says, "No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house." One time, after Jesus had cast out a devil and healed a deaf and mute boy, He explained that in order to overturn the works and activity of the devil, we must bind him first. Again in the New Living Translation Bible: "For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man like satan and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house" (Matthew 12:29). Christ in you is the one who is stronger and able to overcome. This is not the only place where the Lord plainly described a man as a "house" or habitation of the evil one. In the same chapter, He speaks of the unclean spirit cast out and, finding no other habitation, says, "I will return to my house" (see Matthew 12:44) and because no other had taken his place, he is able to "enter and dwell there" (see Matthew 12:45) with seven others more evil than himself. The key to real freedom and overcoming the strongman is to displace the enemy and establish the presence of God. Where satan has been commanded to leave, fill it up with God's Word and presence through daily intimacy. Where the presence of the Lord is, the devil isn't! Satan doesn't want to hang around where people are lifting up Jesus in worship and prayer. The presence of the Lord displaces the devil. "For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" (II Corinthians 6:14). BIND THE PRINCIPALITIES OF DISEASE AND SICKNESS As II Corinthians 4:4 shows us, satan is the "god of this world." He is the strongman with power to steal, kill, and destroy (see John 10:10) and he has the ultimate power of death (seeHebrews 2:14). The kingdoms of the world and their power and glory are the devil's (see Luke 4:5-6). Jesus has given us the ministry to binding and loosing what has already been bound and released in Heaven because of His finished work! "I will give unto thee the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven" (Matthew 16:19). VICTORY OVER STRONG MEN Lofty arguments and opinions are the results of pride and evil and vain imaginations - the very strongholds in which demons reside. This then is the essence of demonic warfare -- the power of God to overcome the strongholds of demons. One way we can bind and weaken any demonic stronghold is by setting the captive free like Jesus and moving in our authority. While Jesus was here during His earthly ministry, He was freeing people from the devil by casting him out of them (see Luke 13:11-16; Mark 5:1-15; John 8:32-36). As we set the oppressed free, we weaken the strongman! We must remember,"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds" (II Corinthians 10:4). One of the greatest ways we can plunder the strongman's house and overcome the enemy's power is by understanding our true authority in Christ and how to resist the devil by submitting to God's promises. In I John 4:4, we're told that the One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world. II Corinthians 10:3-5, Ephesians 6:10-18, and James 4:7-8 show us the proper way to resist the devil and defeat his schemes through submitting to God. What is more amazing is that Jesus gives authority and power to us. "Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to cure every disease and every sickness" (Matthew 10:1). In overcoming demonic strongmen and strongholds, we must remember the importance of prayer and intercession -- coming together in agreement to bind the principalities of disease and sickness during mass prayer before loosing and declaring the healing power of God! And continue praying with other Believers against strongholds until you get results. There is intensified power in the gathering of more Believers. Prayer with fasting intensifies faith, and faith will break strongholds. "Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, 'Why could we not cast him out?' .....However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting" (Matthew 17:19, 21). PREPARED FOR BATTLE We do not take on demonic strongholds in our own strength. We protect ourselves with the first five pieces of defensive armor and wield the one offensive weapon - the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. In verses 12 and 13 of Ephesians 6, Paul writes, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Observation: TRULY, ITS TIME FOR ME TO STOP LOOKING FOR THE LIVING AMONG THE DEAD. IT'S TIME FOR ME TO STOP WANDERING AROUND IN THE CEMETERY OF SIN, SICKNESS, AND FAILURE AND TO STEP INTO RESURRECTION LIFE! AS A RESURRECTED CREATURE, I AM NO ACCIDENT GOING SOMEWHERE TO HAPPEN. MY LIFE ISN'T JUST A LOOSE WEB OF EVENTS AND CIRCUMSTANCES. GOD HAS SPECIFIC PLANS FOR ME. Romans 1:17 - "For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, But he who is put right with God shall live by faith." "From faith to faith" means we are to begin and finish in faith. We are to start in faith and stand in faith until that which we are believing for arrives. We go from "faith to faith" not faith to feelings. Faith is a seed. When we are dealing in faith, there is a timing for the manifestation. It takes time sometimes for our faith to pull things into the natural realm. That's why the bible says it's "from faith to faith." We have to stay in faith even when we don't see any changes. In our faith, we have to get above seeing or feeling something. Observation: FAITH PLEASES GOD BECAUSE IT MAKES A WAY FOR HIM TO WORK IN MY LIFE. IT CONNECTS ME TO HIS SUPERNATURAL ANOINTING. LIKE ABRAHAM I STAGGER NOT AT THE PROMISE OF GOD THROUGH UNBELIEF; BUT AM STRONG IN FAITH GIVING GLORY TO GOD! Song of Solomon 3:3 - "The watchmen that patrol the city found me and I asked, 'Have you seen my beloved?"' THE WATCHMEN, WHO GOD HAS SET ON THE WALLS OF JERUSALEM, FIND YOU BECAUSE THEY ARE ALWAYS LOOKING OUT FOR HIS CITY. YOU ASK THEM FOR NEWS OF YOUR BELOVED (JESUS), BUT THEY CANNOT TELL YOU WHERE HE IS. YOU SEARCH FOR YOUR BELOVED, BUT NO ONE CAN TELL YOU WHERE HE IS BUT HE HIMSELF. Isaiah 62:6,12 - "I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day or night; you who are His servants that put the Lord in remembrance of His promises, keep not silence. Luke 1:35 - The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God." We need to ask Him for a release of divine hunger that will drive us deeper into Him.Like Mary, it is simply through intimacy, engaging the realm of heaven, and declaring what we see and hear that brings heaven to earth. As Mary received Christ into her physical Body, we have received Jesus into our spirits. As she birthed Christ, our quest is to see Jesus unfettered from the womb of our religion about Him. Our destiny is not just to carry Christ inside but to reveal the fullness of His glory in this world. Mark 16:15 - He said to them, "Go to the whole world and preach the gospel to all mankind." Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." One of the most crucial areas in which believers fall short in is pressing into God. Many pray briefly about decisions, then merely do what seems like common sense, not acquiring the mind of the Lord at all. But God must be sought. The temptation, when we first pray about something is to lose heart or give up. But God will speak clearly to us if we press into Him. Often it is necessary to pray until you feel (and know) your spirit is breaking through. Affirmations: I CONFESS THAT I LIVE "IN" FAITH. I WILL NEVER RELINQUISH THE DREAM HE HAS PUT IN MY HEART.I WILL STAY IN THIS PLACE; I WILL USE MY FAITH; I WILL BE STEADFAST, UNWAVERING, AND COMMITTED TO SEEING HIS PROMISES COME TO PASS IN MY LIFE. BECAUSE I HAVE MADE THIS DECISION, I AM A PERSON WHO PLEASES GOD. Song of Solomon 3:2 - "I will rise now and go about the streets of the city. In the highways I will seek him whom I love. I sought him but did not find him." SINCE YOU NO LONGER FIND YOUR BELOVED (JESUS) IN YOUR RESTING PLACE, YOU ARE PERSUADED TO LOOK FOR HIM. THE CITY, WHICH IS THE WORLD, WILL BE WHERE YOU NOW LOOK FOR HIM. AS YOU LOOK IN VAIN YOU MAY BECOME OCCUPIED WITH THE WORLD WHILE YOU USE THE EXCUSE THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR YOUR BELOVED.
