  1. Genesis 4:3,4 - "And in the process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering." CAIN'S OFFERING WAS REJECTED BECAUSE HE OFFERED THE FRUIT OF HIS OWN LABORS WHILE ABEL OFFERED A BLOOD SACRIFICE THAT PROPHESIED OF THE COMING OF CHRIST. THIS LED TO A RAGE IN CAIN THAT CAUSED HIM TO SLAY HIS BROTHER. THE CROSS IS THE BASIS OF OUR ACCEPTANCE TO GOD AND REMAINS THE PRIMARY POINT OF CONFLICT BETWEEN CHRISTIANITY AND EVERY OTHER RELIGION, WHICH ARE ALL BASED ON MAN'S ACCEPTANCE THROUGH WORKS. Ephesians 2:10 - "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." In the world "self-made" men and women are esteemed, but not so in Christ. Our goal is to be fashioned and established by the grace of God, not our own efforts. In this way we are his workmanship, devoted to becoming what he wants us to be. We are not working in order to gain approval, but because we love the one who loved us, saved us, and works through us. Hebrews 10:12,14 -- "But this man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God....For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified." God see us with no flaw, spot or imperfection, so we honor His Word and the finished work of Jesus by saying "Amen!" To see ourselves as being far from perfect is not modesty, but a failure to understand the perfect sacrifice that Jesus has made for us. The Bible tells us, "For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified." We have not only been sanctified, that is, made holy; but by the same offering of His body, we have been perfected. We are both holy and perfect in God's eyes! AFFIRMATIONS: When I find myself conscious of my sins, I say, "Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your wonderful work at the cross. It is a perfect work that has removed all my sins completely. I expect good things to happen to me because blessings are on the head of the righteous! (Proverbs 10:6) I don't doubt my perfection in Christ. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. 2 Corinthians 6:18 - "I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." What does this mean for us? It means that as sons (no gender) we are given the riches of the Kingdom and the authority to rule and reign on earth! Yes, we are anointed to bring Heaven to earth and demonstrate what is in Heaven upon this earth. Just as when Jesus was upon the earth, He ministered to other Jewish people as a Son carrying our His Father's business, we are being commissioned to do the same! However, to fully demonstrate the Kingdom we must break free from the orphan stronghold/mentality. KEYS TO BREAK FREE FR0M AN ORPHAN STRONGHOLD • Repent for believing the lie that you are unworthy to be a son of God. Repentance means change the way you think! Don't see yourself as a sinner any longer. See yourself as God sees you—as a son! God is extending abundant grace for you to rule and reign as a son today. Write down this Scripture and remind yourself of this every day: "Those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life." - (Romans 5:17 NASB) • Remind yourself that you are righteous and that you have been given authority to rule and reign! You receive righteousness by faith. Use your faith now and see the Lord releasing new measures of grace and authority to you. • Bless your fathers and mothers (spiritual ones also). • Ask for a blessing from your parents. If deceased, ask someone in spiritual authority to speak a blessing over your life. • Rise up and make a bold declaration that you are blessed; you are a son and daughter, and you choose today to walk in the fullness of Sonship. Today, all poverty is broken off of your life and your eyes have been opened to see yourself as God sees you! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. Galatians 5:16 - "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh." He has put an unlimited potential within us by His Spirit. Don't think about what you can't do. Think about what you can do through Christ. Exercising faith to fulfill your call will always result in permanent spiritual results - "fruit which remains" measured by the lives you have dramatically changed. Affirmations: I AM DEVELOPING MY OWN HUMAN SPIRIT, AND I AM BECOMING MORE SENSITIVE TO THE SPIRIT OF GOD. I HAVE ACCEPTED THE CALL OF GOD TO LEAVE THE LOW LIFE BEHIND, AND I AM FOLLOWING THE SPIRIT OF GOD TO A HIGHER REALM, WHERE I WILL LIVE IN CONTINUAL PEACE, JOY, AND VICTORY. Luke 18:9 - "He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and despised others." Like all expeditions, my journey starts with a departure. Long before I ever arrive at holiness, I must depart from self-righteousness and pride. Romans 6:18 - "Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness." Affirmations: SINCE I HAVE GIVEN MY LIFE TO JESUS, THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD HAS BEEN IMPARTED TO ME. BECAUSE THROUGH JESUS, I RECEIVED GOD'S NATURE. SIN AND THE DOMINION OF SATAN CANNOT HAVE AUTHORITY OVER ME BECAUSE JESUS IS MY LORD. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. I was in the chat room and a discussion came up, for clarity and to avoid any form of argument i was advised to bring it here... Are we sinners? Should a Christian still call himself a sinner? Are we righteous? My Opinion: Yes, we're not perfect, and yes we have no righteousness of our own... but if after the death of our lord, and after we accept him as Lord and Savior we still remain sinners... what then is the point of His death? My illustration is this, we all go to the bank, and perform normal customer transactions... but none of us will claim to be a banker except we actually work in a bank... to me, the same applies to this issue... We might one time or another fall into iniquity, when we do... we recognize our fault and repent... and turn to our father for forgiveness. My tentative conclusion is this (tentative because i am very open to corrections)... As believers, we WERE sinners, but now, we ARE not sinners... I will really like to get your view on this, thank you.
