Bible uses the term(s) "contentious"(quarrelsome in some translation) as a warning label(s) for women who are problematic. However, in contrast, it is interesting that the Bible uses the term(s) "wise"(prudent in some translation) for women who are good paragons, but Not solely term(s) like kind or nice by and in themselves. To elaborate, bible readers' first intuition is to think that the opposite of "contentious"(quarrelsome) is kind( or nice ). Therefore, Let's say that the typical bible readers come across the following verses: Therefore, after reading the aforementioned verses, the typical bible reader might at first have an impression that the direct opposite of a contentious woman would be solely a kind ( or nice ) woman. The bible reader might think that the solely kind ( or nice ) woman is to be exalted. However, that deduction is wrong because being solely a kind ( or nice ) woman is Not the good paragon woman that the bible recommends. Rather, it is the wise(prudent) woman that the bible exalts. Now granted, Proverbs 31:26b does uphold kindness as a good quality for women to have, but the verse on the whole suggests that kindness is sort of incidental and/or secondary to the quality of wisdom: To conclude, "contentious"(quarrelsome in some translation) women are to be approached with caution. However, the primary quality to look for in a woman is wisdom, and kindness ( or niceness) is very much incidental and/or secondary to wisdom.

How often do you submit your plans to the Lord ? Do you jump feet first without weighing out the ramifications? So often we see in ourselves hindsight or in others immediately , that things done and said are done amiss. Look! No matter what we think about ourselves, we really are fallible. We know nothing without Gods wisdom. God has said as much! Proverbs 9:10 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Daily we need to humbly ask the Lord to show us what we cannot rightly see. Our hearts are deceitful says the Lord! God states that we are fools if we trust in 'our own' minds but he that walks in wisdom will be delivered (proverbs 28:26) Jeremiah 17: 9The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. " According to his doings"..... How many times are we going around that same mountain? How may times must we learn the SAME LESSON? We see through the glass dimly until that glorious day when we are glorified. ( 1Corinth 13:12) which is why we must walk intentionally blind heeding the Holy Spirits lead. We need to pray of course, communing with the triune Lord who we wholeheartedly desire a deeper relationship with! Then we test the spirit to make sure what we hear is not in contradiction to Gods word. 1John 4 I think we should be asking God to examine our hearts OFTEN ! If we submit in humility revering our Lord and King especially when things are going well ,we are more likely to not stumble into a snare! How often do we insist others see our way of looking at things when in reality; its not even important in the full scope of things? Do we strain gnats? Do we create division? Should we listen more and talk less? We as human beings can get puffed up if we dont check ourselves! We should desire to walk according to Gods will . I think a true follower of Christ desires to OFTEN please the Lord who saved them from themselves and fiery torment and who has been amazingly provisional in our lives with both tests and blessings.! The Lords saints are 'the pot' while SOVEREIGN LORD is our divine potter! This is our training phase on this side of death ( of flesh). We are daily being sanctified. We ARE going to go through our refining fires . Some more than others quite frankly because some have moreso a propensity in acting foolish and hardheaded. I think that stems from lack of maturity in Christ and his word and life experience too. David prayed this prayer and I pray the same thing from time to time. I know I am nothing without my Savior. I know HE knows best. I remind myself today that I should pray it more often than naught and then I wait for the Holy Spirit to show me what I cannot see! Psalm 139: 23,24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.. I like the entire passage. Search Me, O God, and Know My Heart To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. 139 O Lord, you have searched me and known me! 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. 3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. 4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. 5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it. 7 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? 8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! LISTEN. LEARN. REPEAT. If we are honest with ourselves; we will look at ourselves ( no matter what man thinks of us ) and realize we all could use a tweaking 'in our alignment' here and there. I think that as Christian's, we too can be "in the spirit" like John in the book of Revelation. It is when you have a lot of faith and in this time a lot of God's revelations (things that will happen) come to us. The book of Revelation has this title because of this - it was revealed to John how things will be. A good way to get a lot of faith is to read your bible for a long period of time maybe an hour on an occasion - you cannot do this all the time but you should daily read your bible for shorter periods. Get an enjoyable version that is fun to encourage you to do this (I like the Message and/or the ESV - English Standard Version): Faith is our link to God so having a link in faith enables Him to reveal things to us through what is like a telephone line that has been setup. Read your favourite bible version and pray to God like you are having a conversation with Him whilst you are having a coffee - who knows, you might end up having a chat, coming closer to someone who loves you more than you could ever know and therefore making Him very happy. Make sure you use wisdom with your faith though so you can discern away mis-leading spirits that may effect the conversation. This is noise and interference on the telephone line. Shalom

2 Corinthians 10:4 - "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to tear down strongholds." Wherever a stronghold exists, it is a demonically induced pattern of thinking. Specifically, it is a "house made of thoughts" which has become a dwelling place for satanic activity. The strongholds upon which demons rely consists of our own thoughts, attitudes, and opinions which are in agreement with evil. The strongholds that affect us most are those which are so hidden in our thinking patterns that we do not recognize them or identify them as evil. Matthew 12:37 - "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." AFFIRMATIONS: Today!....I make up my mind that I'm going to speak life to my situation and circumstances. I am going to the word of God to find out what He has to say about me and my situation, and I'm going to say what He says. The only way to receive wisdom from God is to come before Him (submitting your spirit to Him), pushing away every bit of understanding you think you have gained, and each day, offer yourself as a servant who is willing to do the lowest job. As long as you allow the spirit of "superior knowledge" to secretly overtake you -- that is, to be master of you of your own soul -- you will be as powerless in spirit as a slave -- always subject to your lower nature. As sons and daughters of the King, we have been given authority to pray Heaven's blessings to earth. It is God's desire to bless us and for us to witness and "see" His promises manifest. Just as Jeremiah was given the ability to "see" his new season (see Jeremiah 1:4-12), we are present-day Jeremiahs – having our eyes opened to understand and know all that God has formed for us (our future and DESTINY) has been preserved. No enemy will be able to steal our future unless we let him! The devil cannot take away what God has promised you unless you allow him entrance. POSITIONED FOR REVELATION What is His perfect will? It's easy to know because it is all written in His Word. Yet, there are times when we are being positioned for the "revelation" contained within His Word to us. Revelation is the hidden knowledge of God being made known. We are entering a season where many mysteries are being revealed. God has not withheld revelation FROM you; He has withheld revelation FOR you. Revelation occurs as God's wisdom and knowledge are released – as if He lifts a veil that has covered our eyes and we are now able to see. DRAWING NEAR It is His desire that we move closer – reposition ourselves to "draw near." And, in an intimate relationship, He will speak to us concerning mysteries. It is time to"Set your mind of the things above, not on the things that are on the earth, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:2-3). It is your season to be as Jeremiah and allow God to touch your mouth (Jeremiah 1:9) so that you are empowered to see and confess all that Heaven says about God's PURPOSE for your life, your circumstances, and your future! BATTLE AGAINST UNBELIEF If you recall, Jeremiah could not see his future until God "touched his mouth." The word "touched" is the Greek word naga (Strongs 5060)and implies that God struck the unbelief that had held Jeremiah's faith captive. The word also implies a "violent act." Think about this a moment. God did a violent act against Jeremiah's unbelief. God, Himself, went to battle against Jeremiah's mindsets concerning his abilities to be used by God (see Jeremiah 1:1-12). The finished work at the Cross promises you a new season. Proverbs 20:27 - "The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly." As we begin to cry out from a deep engaging of the Spirit of the living God within our spirits, we experience the communion of the Holy Spirit, which is a place of deep to deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit searches out the deep counsel of God for you and reveals it to you. OBSERVATION: If I am sensitive to my spirit, the Lord will tell me what to pray about. He will alert me to those things that need to be addressed in prayer. I become sensitive to my spirit by meditating on spiritual things at all times -- by meditating on the Lord, on His goodness, on His greatness, and on His Word. AFFIRMATIONS: Out of His glorious riches He strengthens me with power through His Spirit in my inner man. (Ephesians 3:16) I receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. (Ephesians 1:17) The same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwells in me. So therefore I walk in His Kingdom power. I walk in the Presence of the Lord, in step with Him. His fire surrounds me and His Glory dwells within me. My speech demonstrates the power of God’s Spirit in my life. (I Corinthians 2:4) "God put His stamp of ownership (seal)on you by giving you the Holy Spirit he had promised...so that your minds may be opened to see His light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you...and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. This power in us is the same as the mighty strength which he used when he raise Christ from death." - Ephesians 1:13,18-20 To be sealed means to be stamped with an image. That means, when we were born again, we were stamped with the likeness of the Anointed One. We were made to look like the Lord Jesus Christ on the inside. OBSERVATION: Shall we stop short of what He says we ought to be -- shall we cease to come into line with the Mind which is always thinking for our best -- shall we cease to humble ourselves before him who took the way of the cross for us -- shall we cease to withhold ourselves from Him. Can a true believer come to God today without a cry to God to make them, as it were, flames of fire? God shall endue you in that you won't be satisfied until you feel the very members of your body on fire with a Spirit-kindled PURPOSE. Song of Solomon 3:10 - "He made the pillars of silver and the couch of gold. the ascent is of purple and the middle of it is decorated with love for the daughters of Jerusalem." THE PILLARS OF THE HUMANITY OF JESUS CHRIST ARE OF SILVER. HIS COUCH, WHICH IS THE DIVINE NATURE OF CHRIST, IS MADE OF GOLD. THE ASCENT, OR THE ENTRY WAY, SPEAKS OF THE JOURNEY OF JESUS CHRIST. We yelid ourselves in the death to self, to the will of God; having faith in Jesus on the throne, as our Head and life, that He has brought us in and will make it true in our experience -- we trust Jesus, by being a partaker of His nature and life, to work all in us that the Father has PURPOSED for our individual life -- and we shall know how blessed it is to enter the rest of God. "Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God." - 1 Corinthians 1:24 "But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom..." - 1 Corinthians 1:30 God is offering to each of us a much higher Wisdom released by the Spirit of God. Now is the time to embrace true Wisdom, Christ Himself. You might be asking how to obtain this much-desired Divine Wisdom—the passionate quest and resounding question throughout human history. The Holy Scriptures clearly reveal the answer. God's Divine Wisdom isn't reserved for the special few, but is available to all Believers who hunger for intimacy with the Lord and sincerely seek to advance His Kingdom. "If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God Who gives to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him." - James 1:5 WISDOM PROMISES "But to man He said, Behold, the reverential and worshipful fear of the Lord—that is Wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding." - Job 28:28 "The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and skill [the preceding and the first essential, the prerequisite and the alphabet]; a good understanding, wisdom, and meaning have all those who do [the will of the Lord]. Their praise of Him endures forever." - Psalm 111:10 "The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning and the principal and choice part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; but fools despise skillful and godly Wisdom, instruction, and discipline." - Proverbs 1:7 "The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning (the chief and choice part) of Wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight and understanding." - Proverbs 9:10 STEPS TO RECEIVING WISDOM FROM ABOVE First, we must ask for the Wisdom of God—and keep on asking, doubting nothing. Second, and then we must understand that the Lord's Divine Wisdom is entered through two gates, holiness (as expressed in humility) and reverence or fear of the Lord. These are the gates leading to the pathway of Wisdom. God resists the proud but He gives grace to the humble (Proverbs 3:34, 1 Peter 5:5). What is this grace that He bestows upon the humble? It is the grace or divine ability to know Him and His strategies for bringing His Kingdom to earth—the grace for Divine Wisdom. DIVINE WISDOM - THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT It is indeed the Holy Spirit alone who imparts Divine Wisdom. Notice the words of Christ recorded in John 16:13: "But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future." The Teacher who will lead us into Wisdom is God's Holy Spirit. The Spirit alone—not our natural minds—can guide us into all Truth, Truth in the Person of Christ Jesus our Lord. Specifically, the Spirit "will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]." Ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten the eyes of your understanding: "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened..." - Ephesians 1:17-18 If we ask in simple faith, believing His Word, God will liberally bestow this much needed Wisdom: "If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him." - James 1:5 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Job 2:13 - "So they sat down with Job on the ground for seven days and seven nights, and none spoke a word to him, for they saw that his grief and pain were very great." Job's life helped create the awareness for the need of a savior. Job is the question. Jesus is the answer. If our study of Job (and other Old Testament issues) doesn't lead us to Jesus as the answer, it reveals we never really understood the question. Any understanding we have about the nature of God that can't be seen in the person of Jesus, must be questioned. Ephesians 4:13 - "In the knowledge of the Son of God we shall become like mature men, reaching to the very height of Christ's stature." Notice that coming into maturity is the result of gaining the knowledge of the Son of God. This revelation will completely change the believer, because as we see Him we become like Him. This will enable us to accurately represent Jesus. The Subjections taught in the bible is concerned with being subject to the Authorities established by God. The Problems facing us in our day are do to men living (outside)-the Authority of God. True service is initiated by God.,When man serves under Gods authority,he is thereby accepted. Many consider themselves obedient to God while actually knowing nothing of being subject to Gods delegated authority . He who is truly obedient will find Gods authority I every circumstance ,in the home,and in other situations. After we have meet (Gods) authority,we will realize how much ,we have sinned against GOD. Note)-Those who know not God and Christ know neither authority nor obedience . Christ is the principle of obedience. He who accepts Christ accepts the principles of obedience . A person who is filled with Christ must be one who is also filled with obedience. May God be merciful to those who claim they know authority when obedience is yet missing in their lives.....Amen Heb, 5:8)-Christ "learned obedience through what He suffered. Those who are obedient will experience the ubundance of Salvation. Acts 5:32)-And we are witneses of these things,and so is the Holy Spirit ,whom God have givin to them that obey Him. I peter 1:22)- Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth. Acts 22:10)-"What shall I do Lord? He not only believed,he in addition submitted to the LORD .His repentance was caused both by understanding (Grace) and by ( Obedience) by authority .When he was moved by the holy Spirit to see the authority of the gospel ,he addressed JESUS AS LORD God calls us not only to receive HIS LIFE through FAITH ,but also to maintain HIS AUTHORITY through OBEDIENCE. (14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. all that a man achieves that is good is the direct result of his being led by God's thoughts, and all that he fails to achieve that is good is the direct result of being led by his own thoughts. the flip side - all that a man achieves that is bad is the direct result of his being led his own thoughts, and all that he fails to achieve that is bad is the direct result of being led by God's thoughts.
