The truth is that there are some things that Christians are exhorted to be partakers of. I've been going through them and thought it might be helpful if I drew attention to them. I believe it's a sanctification issue that's important to be aware of. G2844 κοινωνός koinōnos koy-no-nos' From G2839; a sharer, that is, associate: - companion, X fellowship, partaker, partner. Rom 15:27 It has pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things. 1Co 9:13 Do you not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? 1Cor 10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. 1Co_10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: you cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. 2Co 1:7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall you be also of the consolation.
