  1. If the Bible is a Catholic book, how can Catholics account for the passage, "A bishop then, must be blameless, married but once, reserved, prudent, of good conduct, hospitable, a teacher...He should rule well his own household, keeping his children under control and perfectly respectful. For if a man cannot rule his own household, how is he to take care of the church of God?" (1 Tim. 3:2, 4-5). The Catholic Church does not allow a bishop to marry, while the Bible says "he must be married." Furthermore, if the Bible is a Catholic book, why did they write the Bible as it is, and feel the necessity of putting footnotes at the bottom of the page in effort to keep their subject from believing what is in the text? If the Bible is a Catholic book, 1. Why does it condemn clerical dress? (Matt. 23:5-6). 2. Why does it teach against the adoration of Mary? (Luke 11:27-28). 3. Why does it show that all Christians are priests? (1 Pet. 2:5,9). 4. Why does it condemn the observance of special days? (Gal. 4:9-11). 5. Why does it teach that all Christians are saints? (1 Cor. 1:2). 6. Why does it condemn the making and adoration of images? (Ex. 20:4-5). 7. Why does it teach that baptism is immersion instead of pouring? (Col. 2:12). 8. Why does it forbid us to address religious leaders as "father"? (Matt. 23:9). 9. Why does it teach that Christ is the only foundation and not the apostle Peter? (1 Cor. 3:11). 10. Why does it teach that there is one mediator instead of many? (1 Tim. 2:5). 11. Why does it teach that a bishop must be a married man? (1 Tim. 3:2, 4-5). 12. Why is it opposed to the primacy of Peter? (Luke 22:24-27). 13. Why does it oppose the idea of purgatory? (Luke 16:26). 14. Why is it completely silent about infant baptism, instrumental music in worship, indulgences, confession to priests, the rosary, the mass, and many other things in the Catholic Church? Now, please my friend, when you reply to this, please stick to just a couple of points per post, then it will be easier to respond to, unless you want to make a VERY long post answering ALL these points in one post, hoping that no-one will take the trouble to address your points.

  3. Many believers do not enjoy their Christianity as they should because they have an idea of God, and how to deal with Him, and how He deals with them, that is remarkably wrong. There are many born again Saints whose entire idea of fellowship with God is not friendship, is not a love relationship, is not family..... but its a sort of a "how do i make myself worthy enough for God to be nice to me and accept me". Its almost a sort of mild performance anxiety mental issue, where the believer has not been able to accept or believe that God loves them because God is LOVE and that is what He does, because that is who He is......in reality. Instead they are forever straining at the straps, earning, stressing, ever seeking to perform enough, long enough, so that God can accept them. And truly, this performance based Christian mentality is a straight jacket of misery, and if you are wearing it, i want to offer you a verse to meditate on so that you get a True Vision of the God who saved you, and not because you earned it, but only because "God so loved YOU", that even if you were the only person in the world, He still would have sent His Blessed Son to the Cross just to bring YOU home to His Kingdom and into His heart. Look at this verse... and see the real God, your Father. John 16:24 "and hitherto have you asked nothing in my name : ASK and you shall receive, that your JOY MAY BE FULL."" Now, let me expound this just a little ......... "what are you waiting for?.....ask me.... im your Father.....I love you......and i want to give to you my blessing so that your joy may be full" Now, did you notice what you are to do to earn this fullness of Joy that God wants to give you? Answer.) = nothing You dont earn it. And the reason is, .. God's love for you is not a performance based rewards system. He is not up there taking notes and awarding and subtracting reward points, and if you finally do enough and get enough points, you finally get a blessing. That is not God. That is not how God's love works, or functions.... Yet many believers are working to get God's love., working to get God's acceptance.... working to get God to love them.........and they never feel it, ever..... because God's love is FREELY given. You noticed the reward of simply asking God in prayer ? = "that your JOY might be full"... = Blessing. God wants this for you. This is How He loves you.... He loves by GIVING and GIVING, and never is this based on your performance. Its always and only based on God's nature.... God is a giver... God is LOVE. God loves YOU.

  5. Sometimes a believer finds that they are not happy/content/satisfied within their heart. This didnt happen to them overnight, but rather it happened over time, gradually. One day they realized that they have not felt peace, or contentment, or hope,.......... in a while. So what happened. >>>> ??? Well, often its a very simple situation. Common..... And this is...... that you are a person of real faith, who really committed to Jesus at one point. You were all in. totally offered, totally submitted, devoted, sold out. And when you were this, when you were that person, this is the REAL YOU, this is your NEW IDENTITY "In Christ".. = you came to live within a born again place in God, a shelter and foundation in Christ, that removed you pretty much from the world. This is your "spiritual first love", and that is how it feels when you are in that place of submission and heart willingness. There was that time when all that mattered was Jesus. He was not just a name to you, or a distant figure on a cross, but He had become your wholeness, your inner completeness, your joy. But now, you dont find this to be who you are, anymore. You feel so different. So, its time that you go back to who you really are, who you are remade to be, by the Father thru Christ. So, simply, the problem is....once you have tasted the heavenly gift, the goodness of God, (born again) and have known this complete inner sense of wellness & of wholeness ......then if you slip away from this spiritual position, you will eventually really miss it. Understand....that once you are no longer living and walking in the light, then you are living in the dark, and when you are there you won't realize what has happened to you, until you DO realize it. See, spiritual darkness is a veil over your mind, and because it veils gradually, you really don't notice it as you enter into more and more of the dark. And when you are truly back in the dark, you start trying to fill your "Jesus void" with stuff...with activities, with TV, with everything that the eye can find to want to do. And when your inner diet becomes completely again all that the world has to offer you, you will eventually, if you are a true child of God, find yourself feeling empty, lifeless, unhappy..... Joyless. As all these feelings are the fruit of the inner man, when the inner man is feeding on the diet the dark world offers. Saint, the world offers you 3 feelings. Fleshy carnal fleeting happiness. A complete lack of satisfaction. And absolutely no contentment. Do you feel any of this, or all of this? Jesus is the opposite of all those, and what He imparts into you, is not only the remedy for those negative feelings, but a God created Joy and Wholeness and Wellness in your inner being that the world does not understand and can never provide. WE the born again are referred to as a "peculiar people", (in some NT versions) and that is how the world SEES us, because we do not live for the world, yet, we live in it. So, to the unbeliever, this is odd, this is not "normal" regarding their POV. So, if you are connecting with what im saying right now, then that is what has happened or is happening to you, IF....... you are the one who is hearing me right now. So, Saint..... to remedy this situation, to DEPART from this dark place that you are become inside yourself, you have to realize that you are not who you are in there....... and that is why you can't find the peace you want in your heart for a while now. The real peace you want is found and is kept when you are back to who you are, back to the place of endless wholeness and joy. Back to the loving arms and tender care of Jesus. Back to "first love". And you cannot ever again be satisfied or content with anything less. And when you try, you will always feel empty, and you will always feel wrong. Go home.... Jesus is the Light, and He leaves it on for you all the time. Its where you belong now and forever.
  6. I just read this and I am not 100 percent sure if the writer is credible or not....has any one heard about this? https://thereisnews.com/pope-francis-cancels-bible/ Pope Francis has surprised the world today by announcing that The Bible is totally outdated and needs a radical change, so The Bible is officially canceled and it’s announced a meeting between the highest personalities of the church where it will be decided the book that will replace it, its name and its content. Some names are already being considered and the one that has more strength is “Biblia 2000”. “We can not keep trying to talk our public in a totally new world with a book that has thousands years. We are losing followers and we have to go a step further in the search for the modernization of the church. to rewrite the word of God, even if it is only the Old Testament, in which there are certain passages that it is better not to repeat. ” The news has fallen like a bomb among the most conservative, who consider this idea the definitive clue of madness of Pope Francis.
  7. The bible says that Jesus bore our sin on the Cross, so then, who are we to not believe it. ? After all, if we are born again, then we have now become "the righteousness of Christ", and Jesus "became (our) sin". 2nd Corinthians 5:21, and what is also amazing, is that its God His Father that "made" this all happen. Here is a pretzel.....God is Jesus on the Cross, sending Himself down from Heaven, to Die as a Man. In John 1:10, Jesus was "standing on the earth HE CREATED", = "God said, LET THERE BE", in Genesis....... and this is JESUS now standing on it, and soon He was going to be hanging between the earth and sky that HE Created with.... words....and Jesus is the WORD ..... made flesh. On the Cross, Jesus is not just dying for sin, He literally became sin. I'll show you somehting else that is pretty interesting, as maybe you've not thought this or been shown it before... You all know this verse...... "we are not UNDER the Law but we are UNDER Grace". In other words, the reason for the Law....is that the law shows us our sinfulness, as this is the purpose of it, which then leads us to the One who dies for them on the Cross, gives us His Righteousness......you know, (Salvation). But notice this.... our NT says that the LAW was abolished, being NAILED to the Cross. Colossians 2:14 Now this does not mean the law and the 10 C's are no longer behavioral lifestyle guides regarding our Christian Discipleship, sure...but what it means is that because Jesus fulfilled the law in our place, the law now has no authority to judge us as sinners. Remember, God's law does this, not Jesus, not God. This is why Jesus never JUDGED any one, He always said. "sins are forgiven", "go thy way"...etc..... as that is why HE CAME, whereas the Law can not do this, it can only judge you to be a sinner, based on ITSELF as it reveals God's morally righteous moral code. So, Jesus abolished the law (took away its power to judge us as sinners), which is why Romans 4:8 has to be understood fully or Salvation can't be completely accepted or understood as it is meant to be, in both cases. So, there is Jesus, dying on the cross, and where is the Law that is abolished and NAILED to the Cross with him?? Its nailed. Where? Its above his HEAD. He is UNDER THE LAW, on the Cross, DYING. And we are NOT UNDER IT< because He died under it for us. "You are not UNDER the Law but under GRACE , <. see that? = Because Jesus is UNDER IT, on the Cross. He took away its power to JUDGE a born again believer. His death FINISHED not only our Eternal Redemption, but it also forever eliminated the Law's Legal right to judge us as SINNERS. <B><
  8. Some born again believers have the idea that to please God you are to "carry your cross" and "endure to the end".. This is their idea of how to please God. Let me assure you, Saint.... that is not how you please God. You do not please God by working out your salvation with fear and trembling. You do not please God by confessing all your sins. You do not please God by your behavior, tho you can displease Him by your lifestyle and your purpose in life. See and understand that doing what is right, (personal Holiness)..... all of this is defined in the New Testament as your "reasonable service". Romans 12:1 This is sort like the idea of a professional Olympic athlete doing a serious workout every day. IT's the idea of "well of course, what else would i and should I be doing". So, you are not "pleasing" God, by doing what you should be doing ..... You are just doing the work that you are supposed to be doing, given the situation. This is "discipleship", and you are expected to do it. And it actually has nothing to do with pleasing God. So, if doing what is expected of you, as a servant of the Most High is not what gives God pleasure, then what do you do to give Him Pleasure? Do you want to? Then here you go.... Well, its like anything else that you learn to do. You have to know, first, what to do, and then the rest follows....... if you are willing. So, what is it that you are created for, that gives God Pleasure. ??? And so... once you know this<> then you can do it. And perhaps you are doing it, but there are many believers who don't know the answer, so how can they perform what Gives the Most High, pleasure, if they don't know how, or what to do? Here are some scriptures that will help you to see. .. Isaiah 43:21 : "this people have i formed FOR MYSELF, = they, you, the born again, all.....shall show forth my PRAISE". John 4:23 : "true worshipers shall WORSHIP the Father in Spirit and in Truth".. I Peter 2:9 : "But the BORN AGAIN are a chosen generation, a Royal Priesthood, that the SAVED should show forth their PRAISES to GOD who has has called you out of darkness and into His marvelous LIGHT". Hebrews 13:15 : "let us offer the sacrifice of Worship & PRAISE = the FRUIT of our Lips"...as with such sacrifices GOD IS WELL = PLEASED. Now, do you see that? Let me give it to you again, crystal clear, so that you can see it and see it more clearly. In this world of born again believers, you have types... And one type is Martha... And one type is Mary.. Do you remember Lazarus and his sisters? Do you remember when Jesus Wept ? Do you remember what he told Martha? ????? He told her " you are too busy doing nothing that pleases me". "you are working, working, busy, busy, busy, striving, self effort, and all THIS its not to me pleasure you are giving".. But MARY........See her? She was giving the Master "pleasure". She wasn't working. SHE was in awe of being with Him, and in a complete state of worshipful praise sitting at Jesus's FEET. Martha is the Legalist. She is the one who is trying to work her way into the presence of Jesus and is failing to get there. While Mary is in awe of the Grace of God's Son, who IS Grace, and she just wants to LOVE HIM WITH HER PRAISE and worship Him in His presence. = Answer.) This is how you Give God pleasure. This is how you do it the way HE wants you to do it. So, are you a Mary? or are you a Martha? The specific type you are determines if you are giving your Father and your Savior , pleasure............or not.
  9. Behold

    The 4 Things

We understand that if someone is kidnapped, and this person belongs to an important, powerful, rich, person, then the kidnappers will want a ransom. (payment) A "ransom" is a buying back, of something, or of someone. When you became born again, when you were saved, God paid a ransom for you, and this is the Blood of Jesus. "you are not your own, you are BOUGHT with a PRICE"....>"You are Christ's and Christ is God's". The Blood of Jesus, is the full payment paid for your ransom, that has "blood bought" you back to God from your "lost" , "separated from God by sin", condition. When a preacher or teacher uses the term "blood bought", they are referring to the ransom that God paid, ....a literal payment which is the cost of-for your sin debt that you owed God, that is Hell and the Lake of Fire. So, the Blood of Jesus paid the PRICE for the eternal judgement due you, so that you would not be eternally damned, and eventually end up in Hell <> Lake of Fire after you died. All This is the eternal consequence of the payment that God accepted on your behalf when Christ was offering Himself FOR YOU, bearing your sin, and in fact "Christ became sin".....on the Cross. This Blood Atomentment Payment is eternally applied to you, as a free gift, the same instant that you from your heart, "called on the name of Jesus", and "received Christ as your Savior". (Justification by Faith) = Alone. In the present, after you are born again, there are 4 main things that you are ransomed from, based on the Blood of Christ being your accepted "payment due" to God for your LIFETIME of sinning and unbelief. 1. You are redeemed (ransomed from- delivered from) your Adamic Nature 2. You are redeemed (ransomed from-delivered from) Sin's power. 3. You are redeemed from (ransomed from-delivered from) The Curse of the Law. 4. You are redeemed (ransomed from-delivered from) The Devil. Now there are other things that are involved in your ransom that would be counted as part of your redemption : Becoming an Heir of God and a Joint Heir with Jesus......and also, health, prosperity, abundant life, prayer's answered, etc.
  10. Dear all, I am sharing a video where I have talked about the experiences and insights that I gained in Christian path. Have discussed some Bible verses and their interpretations too.
  11. Behold

    2nd Timothy 3:5

"having a form of godliness" So. what is this? What is this AS compared to being saved - born again? Its very simple.... a "form of godliness" is religion. All Religion. All Religion is a "form" of Godliness that isn't actually true Godliness. And what is the difference between Religion and Christianity? Well, Religion is man's self effort to touch God or become God. Whereas Christianity is God coming to Man, as a divine Man, to take man back home. Religion is man's self righteous effort to get in touch with God, and Christianity is God on a Cross touching humanity with the Blood of Jesus, the Righteousness of God, and the Love of God.. Its, "self righteousness", which is Religion. Look at that phrase..."self righteousness"......"self".."right'.......trying to make "self" "right" with God.......by SELF. (Legalism) By works, by lifestyle, by commandment keeping, and worrying about keeping the law to TRY to make "self" = "righteous". See it? All Religion is an effort to ither become Divine, or to join Divinity, by SELF RIGHTEOUS EFFORT... = trying to make "self" "right"......= Self-Righteousness. = Religion. And THAT.......all that is Religion, and it is what 2nd Timothy is defining as "a FORM of Godliness", that "denies the Power of God". So, what is the Power of God that imparts Godliness? It IS the only and sole means and method that causes you to become born again. This is being SAVED.... This is...God giving you HIS very Righteousness, which is the defining idea you are to comprehend so that you perfectly understand WHAT the Power of God is, exactly and in Truth. The power of God, is the ability of God to recreate you as a "new creation" "in Christ". So, this, once applied to you, is not a "form of Godliness", ... Its not self righteous effort .....Its not Religion, and its not something that you can do for yourself. Its something that God did for you on a Cross and then offers this Power, this Redemption, this BLOOD ATONEMENT, as a "free Gift", and when you by Faith trust in Christ, God then delivers the literal Power of God thru Christ that recreates you as born again and a "new Creation in Christ". To simplify...... "A form of Godliness" is Religion..... is Legalism....is trusting in SELF, instead of trusting totally in CHRIST to save you and keep you saved. Listen....if you are not trusting in Christ Alone to keep you saved, then you are not really trusting in Christ. Thats a fact. Real Godliness is Redemption. Real Godliness is God making you righteous and keeping you righteous, = through the Blood of Jesus. "A form of Godliness" is a person trying to be good enough, live holy enough, or reach high enough by self righteousness, as THEIR RELIGIOUS EFFORT to become one with God, and in doing this they are "denying the real power of God" which is......The Cross and God as Christ on it as total eternal Redemption offered as a free GIFT...= "the GIFT of Righteousness". . = (Grace).
  12. This will have a similar page on a website (it is buggy right now), because I can do more features there than on the limitations here, but for here, here is the topic - and supporting verse addresses: The Bible is God's revelation to mankind Mat 4:4, 7, 10, 5:19-20, 19:4-6, 26:31, 52-54, Luk 4:16-21, 16:17, 18:31-33, 22:37, 24:25-27, 45-47, Jn 10:35 Even Jesus must obey and fulfill Mat 5:17-18, 26:24, Jn 5:46 Inspired by God and for our instruction Psa 33:6, Gen 1:2, II Tim 3:15-17, Rom 15:4, I Cor 10:11, II Pet 1:21, I Pet 1:10-12, Heb 1:5-13, 3:7, 4:3, 10:5-7, 15-17, Acts 4:25, 28:25-27 Apostolic writing is also scripture, the word of God II Cor 2:12-13, II Pet 3:15-16, I Tim 5:18, Luke 10:7 Word of God is instruction from God on how to live Ex 32:15-16, 34:1, 27-28, Num 33:2, Deut 31:9. 13. The Universe is Revelation from God There is a post here which discusses the Bible as the revelation of God. The Bible has very specific information about God Himself, and about that nature of man, and the problems created by the differences between the will of mankind (as individuals) and the will of God. Much of the Bible though, is limited as a revelation, because mankind has a limited ability to understand the Bible. Some things are spiritually understood, and are understood only by those who have God’s Spirit. In this sense then, the Bible is a revelation intended for the people of God. The universe is different. Though it lacks a lot of the specificity that the Bible has, it has a kind of revelation that is understood (or can be) understood by those with the ability to think, and the powers of observation. This topic, explores some of that. Rom 1:19-21 God reveals Himself through His creation, there is no excuse to reject God Acts 17:28 Paul acknowledged Greek poets and philosophers, knew there was a Creator Acts 14:17 God testified about Himself, as a provider to mankind Rom 2:4 God's kindness toward us, should lead us to repentance Rom 2:14-15 Our conscience, tells us there is right and wrong, we understand that Rom 1:32 People know not to sin, yet even encourage others to sin also This revelation is available to all, so we call this general revelation Rom 1:18-3:19 God's wrath and judgement await unrepentant sinners What scripture reveals beyond this general revelation, and this is very important, is that man is a sinner, sin separated man from God, and this separation is permanent unless God intervenes and provides a way of salvation from our sin and the effects of it. This we call special or specific revelation.
  14. Nowadays there are lots of people that call themselves Christian's. Yet they don't read the Bible or walk the path that Christ has set for them. Our actions define who we are. So why are Christians living two lives instead of the life they were called to live?
  15. Hi, everyone! I'm so delighted to be a part of this community. I can't wait to connect with all of you! Anyone in need of a good reminder of His love right now? I know I do.. My favorite verse from here is Job 34:19 – “He doesn't care how great a person may be, and he pays no more attention to the rich than to the poor. He made them all.” What's yours? 1. Ephesians 2:4-5 – “But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's grace that you have been saved!)” 2. Psalm 86:15 – “But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.” 3. John 3:16 – “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” 4. Romans 5:8 – “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” 5. Psalm 147:3 – “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” 6. Psalm 103:8 – “The LORD is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.” 7. 1 John 4:19 – “We love each other because he loved us first.” 8. Isaiah 53:5 – “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.” 9. Psalm 103:13 – “The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.” 10. Lamentations 3:22-23 – “The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” 11. 1 Peter 5:6-7 – “So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 12. 1 John 3:1 – “See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don't recognize that we are God's children because they don't know him.” 13. 1 John 4:10 – “This is real love--not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 14. Job 34:19 – “He doesn't care how great a person may be, and he pays no more attention to the rich than to the poor. He made them all.” 15. Zephaniah 3:17 – “For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs." ________________________________ www.girlandtheword.com
  16. Hi all! I am beginning a project that I hope will help people study this topic, with greater ease. On thing that would be very helpful to me, is to know which translations we prefer to use in study. I will then work on this project, around some of the most favored versions. I probably will not be doing much with the more obscure versions, but for now, could you choose from among those listed? Thanks in advance for your help. I know some of you will want to add comments. I am not promising that I will read them, if I read them, I may or may not respond to them. I do suggest however, that you try to refrain from debating Bible versions, or expressing why you believe your favorite is better than the other person's favorite. There are already threads on that at Worthy. My purpose here, is only to discover which of the above, people who study eschatology prefer, so I may prioritize the versions I support in my upcoming project. Again, thanks for the help.
  17. Jesus is the Holy Spirit. God is Jesus, "God was manifested in the Flesh" = Jesus 1 Timothy 3:16 "God is A Spirit" is the verse, vs some phony bibles that say "God is Spirit", .. so, check yours.....becasue "A" Spirit, is a specific TYPE....Its a HOLY One...."Holy Spirit". See, there is an UNHOLY Spirit, the spirit of "anti=Christ", and then there a "A" Spirit, (God is A Spirit), that designates for you the literal and clear distinction between Holy and unholy....so, if your bible says...."God is Spirit"< John 4:24 then get yourself a real bible that says.. "God is A Spirit". Very important. And also check and see if your bible says..."GOD was manifested in the Flesh" in 1 Timothy 3:26, as if it says, "He" instead of "God", then get rid of this bible, as its flawed, and not literally accurate. A flawed bible creates a flawed Christian. Thats a fact. The Holy Spirit is the "comforter" and Jesus is the "Prince of Peace". The Holy Spirit gives you comfort, and this is the "God kind". Jesus said, "My peace , (MY SPECIFIC TYPE OF PEACE), This is the Holy Spirit)... The peace I give is NOT as the (spirit of the world) gives,".. John 14: 27.... because Christ's peace IS the Holy Spirit, The Comforter... which is a heavenly peace. THIS Spirit, is God's, and it is the One that "fills you", and it is the one that "indwells you" only if you are born again, as this is the reason you are born again, and this is why the NT says that "if you don't have the Spirit of God, ( Holy Spirit indwelling you) then you are none of God's", you are not born again, and you are not saved. Romans 8:9 The Peace of God is not "happiness" , its a deep wellness in the soul. Its a comfort that is deeper then feelings. Its supernatural. This is the peace of God, Himself, that comes to live in a person the INSTANT they "Believe on the Lord and you SHALL BE SAVED",= right then.....and this is why many cry and cry when this happens, because this peace heals broken hearts. This peace heals wounded souls. This indwelling of the peace of God, which IS the Love of God, fills the emptiness, and this peace replaces addiction, lust, greed, envy, pride, hate, with self control.... and fills the human heart with contentment. AS ALL THIS is the indwelling fruit of the Holy Spirit. ( Jesus the Vine into us the Branches) Its the "God Effect" that comes to live inside a born again Person. Its the "Kingdom of God" that enters you as you enter INTO it. Colossians 1:13 = BORN AGAIN
  18. Gospel : Paul teaching = "preaching of the Cross". "we preach Christ Crucified"..."Jesus sent me not to baptize but to preach the Gospel".."faith comes by hearing this"..... So, all that, if believed by an unbeliever resolves an eternal issue...... What is the issue? What is God's purpose for coming to earth to die as Jesus The Christ on a Cross? What is He doing?...What is He alone solving, that all our 10 commandment keeping and holy lifestyle can never solve, which is WHY HE had to solve it? ? And right here is what is so often misunderstood, or not taught correctly, and this is why so many people who mean well, and love Jesus, or would like to love him, do not understand <>WHAT IS<> the actual reason that God came here to die. So what is that reason? The reason, is that keeping the law, the 10 commandments, and doing good works, confessing sin, and living as holy as we can, could not make us acceptable to God.. And here is the "catch 22".... It also can't AFTER you are saved. And right here is where "Legalism vs Grace" becomes the touchstone of constant fighting on forums, and everywhere else that it can show up where believers WILL clash. (Apparently this clash became such a long standing fight and fury on this forum that members here are barred from posting- fighting about it.) It is a fact and statement of the CROSS that the law and the 10 Commandments can't make you righteous, they can only show you that you are unrighteous., as that is the actual purpose of the Law, as well as outlining what God expects regarding our basic moral conduct & behavior, once we are born again. So, how can it be that half the body of Christ is trying to keep all this, all these works, and they believe that this is "keeping them saved". Whereas the other half of the body of Christ is trusting in Jesus to keep them saved. So, do you see the line in the sand? Its this " What is keeping you SAVED"....that is the minefield of theological confusion. THATS the fight. Legalism vs Grace. Its happening on every forum like this one, and its the reason for 5000 denominations that don't agree, and 300 bibles that don't agree. This issue started with Paul and his preaching of "justification by Faith" >alone, and he wrote the letter to the Galatians that talks about it, and explains it. 2000 yrs later, this issue of Legalism vs Grace is still a fist fight between "Christians". Here on this forum, apparently they outlawed the battle. Isn't it interesting to realize that if the 10 commandments, or lawkeeping, or living holy, could save you or keep you saved, if that were the truth, then Jesus could have stayed in Heaven and saved Himself some PAIN..... But ita not the case. Now im not certain what you have been taught, but i teach that you "present your body a living sacrifice" and you to "live holy as God is holy", not to save yourself or keep yourself saved, but because this is what you should do, and what God expects, .. because you ARE saved. The Legalist would argue that .."no, you do it to stay saved", and if you don't then you're not. I wonder, reader, what you believe. However, keep it to yourself, as this is between you and God, tho make sure you get it right, as if you get it wrong and you are teaching it, then Galatians 1:8 has become quite a literal issue for you. So, leaving all that now, lets just look at the problem that God had to come here and solve for us, as to look at this, is to understand the reason for Salvation which is to understand Salvation. Our problem we had, before we were saved, is only one thing, one issue only. And God Himself had to solve it, because we can't. We are born, and we get older, and we don't have any righteousness. None. And so, God can't accept us, because we are UNRIGHTEOUS. This is "lost", "unsaved"....hellbound = we don't have any RIGHTEOUSNESS< as all of ours, are "filthy rags". So, in steps SALVATION... Down from Heaven God as The Christ arrives... The Cross has been raised.... As God bleeding out on the "tree" has come down from Heaven to give us HIS righteousness so that He can accept us, based on THAT.......and for no other reason will He accept you, or me. God, literally became a man, and died on a Cross, to GIVE US "the righteousness of Christ". (God's very own righteousness). And that is what salvation actually is....Its God coming to earth to give us His righteousness so that HE can accept us, as by giving us His very righteousness, this makes us acceptable to God. Welcome to Salvation. Salvation is only.... "what makes you acceptable to God"....and that is one thing, its GOD'S Righteousness, becoming ours. A born again person, has literally BECOME "the righteousness of Christ", and Christ is GOD. To say that God's Grace is amazing, is really the least of what it is... How can you describe the wonder of God, dying to give you His righteousness in place of your unrighteousness, as a free Gift? Is there a word that can even claim to honor this spiritual transaction enough? Just one. LOVE. Agape` Love. God is LOVE.
  19. Lets define "legalism" as defined by Paul, as Webster is not using the NT as context. "Legalism" is Galatians 1:8 ""there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. [8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let them be accursed. """" Notice that Legalism, taught or preached, "perverts" the Gospel. It subverts the Blood Atonement. It actually attacks the Cross, by denying Jesus full credit do for saving you and keeping you saved. It offends God, and that is why he curses the person and the message. Legalism, is the teaching that "faith + works" is what saves you and keeps you saved. And this "gospel" is a perversion of the truth. Its actually a denial of the Lord's words..spoken from the Cross = "it is Finished"....meaning The Blood Atonement.....Salvation. Let me explain it more clearly.... This verse is referring to a person (Legalist) who is preaching a gospel that is a blend of Jesus, the Cross, and their Works. (commandment keeping, enduring to the end, holding onto their faith.....etc, etc, etc.) Legalism, a Legalist, will give lip service, = a false presentation of the Gospel. And the way they always do it, is by adding 10 commandment keeping, and lifestyle, as a PART of the Blood Atonement. In other words, the Legalist, who is usually not actually born again, but is very apt at speaking "christianese", and uses bible verses, and goes to different Christian fourms to annoy and create chaos......will always defend the LAW and 10 Commandments as "necessary" to be saved, instead of giving FULL CREDIT DUE, to the One who died on the Cross, who HIMSELF is Grace and Salvation. Here is how you spot a lying legalist on a Christian forum. Its so easy. THis is how they "sound". "Yes, i know that Christ is the savior......BUT". "yes, i know that Jesus saves......BUT" See that "but"? That is the sign of the Legalist. They can never EVER agree that Jesus and the Blood of Christ is all that God accepts to save you and keep you saved. They can't agree with this, because they do not believe it. A Legalist, will always, add WORKS, 10 commandments", TO THE CROSS, and then they will all add LIFESTYLE, as well.., as this is how they are "working out their own salvation". The gospel of the legalist, is "faith + works". The Gospel of God is "The Cross". See their problem? Its a BIG One. A legalist sounds like this when they teach or preach....>."""now we know that Jesus saves, but, you ALSO have to ..........1. 2. ....3. 4.. 40.....do all this"" See all that? THAT IS Galatians 1:8 THat is "cursed of GOD" theology and PERSON, because it is adding to the Cross, self righteous works, and this denies The Lord His full credit due, for Salvation. This offends God, who is Jesus on the Cross, and that is why there is a literal CURSE on anyone who teaches or preaches that ... "The Cross + Works, commandments, lifestyle" is the Gospel.....is Salvation. How do YOU discover if you have fallen from Grace, and you are become a legalist. ?? Very simple. You just answer this simple question. Q.) Do you believe that Jesus Christ keeps you saved? I didnt ask you if He saved you. I asked you if you believe that He KEEPS You saved? A Legalist is not being honest if they say yes, because a legalist believes that enduring to the end, keeping your faith, living a holy life, keeping the law and the 10 commandments, is what is keeping THEM saved., so that is why they preach this cursed of God gospel to others. So, be careful reader, as a legalist has deceived themselves, so, that is what they will also offer you. B
  20. I wanted to talk to you about your Salvation, which is your personal and private relationship with God. Maybe you are not enjoying it. Maybe its become a dead weight in your heart, that gives no joy, no life, and no hope. Many Christians are exactly like this. They have long ago trusted the Lord, they are born again, and yet, over time, what use to be LIFE in them is now a slow torture. Almost a misery. So, let me talk to you about this, and lets easily solve this so that you can once again know how it use to be when you were first saved, and life was BRAND NEW, and all you wanted to do was have more of God. Remember ? To get back THERE........is very easy to do. Its not a slow progression back. And in fact, i want you to see this picture in your mind.... Take a look... You see a path that is leading across a pretty field, and at the end of the path is a yard, and a small white cottage stands in the yard. Its in the early evening, not quite dark, its Springtime and there are candles burning in the windows. In all the windows, there are candles glowing a golden glow. The brown wooden front door is wide open, and standing on the porch, by the open door, all dressed in white is Jesus. Its Jesus. He is standing there. He is looking across the yard, and into the path. He is looking at you because you stopped just before you walked across the yard to Him. You can see His face. He is smiling gently at you. You notice that His arms are open as if to give you a warm hug. Then you see what you really didnt expect. You see that Jesus has tears in His Eyes. In His eyes are tears. These tears are for you. These are tears of longing, and hope, and joy, because He has wanted you to come home, and has been waiting, and waiting, and waiting.... And now you are there. So... Go to the Lord. Go Home. - - Ok, if you are away from the Lord for a while, there are generally only a few reasons. One, is that you have been sinning, and you feel so guilty and condemned in your heart. Two, is that you have some bitterness in your life. Maybe a divorce. Maybe someone you loved died. Maybe you are just very unhappy with your life. Its such a struggle. But what you are feeling is that you blame God. You blame Jesus. You are angry at them.. Three, Maybe a Christian has hurt you. Maybe a church has greatly disappointed you. Maybe both, and you are just not wanting to be a part of any of this, anymore. Now there are other things i can list, but, ive learned that most of us, when we are not close to the Lord, ... its because of those 3, so, no matter what your reason might be, ..being away from the Lord is the same empty feeling, its the same sense of no direction and no hope, yet its so very easy to solve this situation, whatever it is, that is keeping you away from God who loves you. So, How do you get back? Well this is very simple. You see that picture i gave you? You see that Jesus? He is there all the time, just like that. And yet what we do sometimes, is we dont see Him like this when we are not close to God and Christ. Instead we see our feelings, our disappointments...... we feel our guilty condemnation... and our bad feelings lead us to believe that God is upset with us, and in fact, He is not. God is Love, you see. And the only thing He will ever do or feel, towards His Child, which you are, is to feel Love towards you. God's only thoughts toward you, His Child, are good thoughts. God only and always wants the best for you. God is love, and that is all He ever has to give you. And this love, is expressed into your life and into your heart as His favor, blessing, peace, hope, power, self control, and Love. Now, i listed 3 reasons that might be the reason you are not as close to the Lord as you were once. And if you are reading this, it could be because you are someone who feels that God is so distant and you are so unworthy. And.... no matter the reason, or the reasons, and no matter how you feel...... God is always at the door, waiting for you. Jesus is never going to turn you away. He will never require you to do anything so that He would accept you or love you. God's love is REAL LOVE, because it is unconditional. You see, God loves you, because that is what He does....That is who He is.... And His Love's only requirement is that you Let Him Love You. And THAT, my brother or my sister,..... is how you return to God and Christ. You realize His Love and you allow It for yourself. You allow it for yourself.... And when you do, and as soon as you do, you will feel His presence, and you will know it. And no matter what you have done, or what you have felt, if you will just see Jesus, standing at the door, looking at you, ... then you can understand How God Loves YOU. Let God love you. Allow God to Love you...... He is still waiting...... always. <B><
  21. A mystery is something that has not been uncovered or revealed. The Trinity is really not a mystery, as this is a misapplied definition that someone once used who didn't understand it, or didnt want to believe it, and it has sort of hung around Christendom, seemingly forever. Now then......The Bible lays out the reality of God's existence, generally, as 3 distinct aspects, yet as One individual whole.... So, here we go.... Lets take a look : First......Think of yourself......are you a spirit , a soul, and a body?......... How many is that?......Well, you are Tri-part being. You are 3 in One. Have you ever noticed the sun in the sky? The Sun: is Heat, Light, and Actinic rays. (ultraviolet, etc). That is 3 parts of the same ONE..... So, is that a mystery? The reason most Christians think of these type things as mysteries, is because we live in the natural world, we exit in the natural realm, and so, what we don't see with our eyes, = "mystery". "seeing is believing". So, God is 3. But He is One. ... Like this : Christ said that He is "In the Father", John 10:30 Thomas kneeled before Christ and said...>"my Lord and my GOD",..... and Jesus didn't correct Him. John 20:28 Christ said......."touch me not, i have not yet ascended to my Father and yours"........ John 20:17 The reason the Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus is .....1.) Envy. 2.) Legalism: Religious Spirit, and because Jesus said......"Before Abraham was...... I AM"....and this is Jesus referring to Himself "pre incarnate", as in Genesis 1, when He was not yet "God manifested as a man, in the FLESH". John 8:58 1 Timothy 3:16 So, we see that Jesus is talking about Himself (referring to Himself as God), before He was later come down from heaven as " God manifested in the FLesh"....... John 8:58 and 1 Timothy 3:16 Ok then, i wrote a simple and quick "Trinity" study recently that i'll now post for you to use if you feel like studying all this, that im posting for yuo Here is the rest.... - 1.) John 1:10.. If you read it, you'll read that Jesus was in and literally placed His feet on the World HE created. 2. ) Colossians 1:6 says that through JESUS, and by Jesus, all things were created. 3.) 1 Timothy 3:16 says that "God" was manifested, (was made flesh and walked among us as a Man) "" 4. ) John 20:28 says that Thomas the Apostle, upon first seeing Jesus after He rose from the dead , said... "My Lord AND MY GOD".... JESUS is the "word made flesh". God made all that you see, by speaking words. "Let there BE...... light, nature, creation, all of it"....>"Let there BE" is like saying, let there BECOME..... God spoke it, and it (creation) appeared. Genesis 1. In the beginning was the Word and the Word (Jesus) was with God, and the Word (Jesus) was/is God. So, there you have Jesus as the Word before He was sent here to die, being worshipped as God after He was sent here. That is God the Father, and Jesus as the Word made flesh = 2 Then add the Holy Spirit, the comforter...... = 1 2 +1 = 3 Three are "One", as Jesus says. "I and my Father are ONE"..... yet, they are each, one of themselves. "Trinity".
  22. Someone who read this list elsewhere, suggested that I post this in my blog, so here it is: Things some people say (which the Bible DOES NOT) about the End Times Notice, that this list, does not establish any end times theory, it tries to prove nothing. It does not even attack a theory, or attempt to refute one. What it does attempt to do, is to get people to ask themselves, why they believe certain things, that the Bible never says. So basically, in between the lines I am asking: If we believe certain things that are not stated in the scripture, and claim that we believe them because that is what scripture teaches, aren't we in principle adding to the words of scripture? Furthermore, if we teach these things as though they are true, does that make us false teachers? So, what things do I claim the Bible does not teach? Following is a short list: 1. It does not say there will be a Rapture of the Church, which occurs before the Great Tribulation. 2. It does not refer to a 7 year period as the Great Tribulation. (See Matt 24:21 & Rev 7:14) 3. It does not say that the Holy Spirit is missing from the Earth at any time during the Great Tribulation. 4. It does not refer to the Great Tribulation, as the wrath of God. 5. It does not say that Jesus will return secretly or invisibly to take His Church. 6. It does not say that no man will ever know the time (the day or hour) of His coming. 7. It does not say that Jesus can return at any moment. 8. It does not say that Jesus will return like a thief in the night for His church. 9. It does not say that believers will not be in the great tribulation, or skip suffering and persecution, or even death. 10. The Bible does not say the Rapture is the Blessed Hope. (Titus 2:13) 11. The Bible does not say that Jesus will return as a thief in the night, in any context that necessitates a pre-tribulation return. 12. It is often said: The Rapture is Jesus coming for His church, the Second Coming is Jesus coming with His church. Those definitions may be workable, however the Bible does not say there is a multi-year interval between those events. 13. The Bible does not say, that there are 144,000 evangelists or witnesses, during the tribulation.
  23. I wanted to show you something, that might be a huge revelation to someone with a sincere heart, who has not realized an unfortunate fact regarding their own personal (Christian) belief system. Lets do the math. It works out like this...... What is your personal Savior ???? Let me show you a few worldwide favorites that wont work out, in the end.. ---------------------------- A person says......"we believe that salvation is the Cross, but that you can "fall away" and be lost. A.) The savior is always what YOU BELIEVE KEEPS YOU SAVED. So, in this case, the Savior to this person has become...>"not falling away". So, where did the Cross go? or, A person says.....>"he who endures to the end, the same shall be saved". A.) for this person, their Savior is "ENDURING to the end". So, where did the Cross go? or, A person says.....> "As long as you hold unto your FAITH, you are still saved". A.) for this person, holding unto their faith is their personal Savior. So, where did the Cross go? or, A person says....> "As long as i KEEP ON working out my salvation with fear and trembling, i stay saved. A.) this person is trusting in their lifestyle as their personal Savior. So, where did the Cross go? or, A person says...."As long as i dont apostatize or backslide, i stay saved. A.) This person is trusting in keeping themselves from apostatizing or backsliding as their personal Savior. So, where did the Cross go? Now see how that works? In all 5 cases the MATH seems good, but the end result is DEVOUT LEGALISM. This is Christ rejection pretending its the Faith that God accepts. Paul wrote the letter to the Galatians to expose it. The end result : is that all these types have "fallen from Grace". The end result : is that all these people have replaced the CROSS with what they are to DO, as their particular heretical method to try keep themselves saved.
  24. When Calvin wasn't trying to get more people burned at the Stake, he also created theologically backwards ideas like : YOU have no choice about your Salvation....God chose you, and that settles that. So, lets look at this one point of his 5 point "salvation theory" system.... and then compare it to the Grace of GOD, which is OSAS. Now, to believe this, you have to pretend that Free Will, is not in fact, real. And here is the thing.... God is JUST....which means, regarding heaven and hell, and people going there....He would not be JUST, if He denied you the freewill to end up in >either place<. Heaven is a choice. Hell is a choice.. A person, who is breathing, while still an unbeliever.. makes the choice to trust Christ or reject Christ, (Hebrews Ch 4 and 10, Unsaved Hebrews) and GOD accepts their choice now and in eternity, and they get to experience the fruit of their choice, just as soon as they DIE. A Person who ends up in Hell, chose to go there. A person who ends up in Heaven, chose to go there. Jesus is THE WAY.... John 14:6 And if you receive Him as the WAY, you go to heaven, and if you reject Him as the ONLY Way, you go to Hell, and then later, the Lake of Fire. And this is not a myth. Its a FACT and this is a situation that every person reading this and everyone in the entire world, living-breathing... or yet to be born, is going to have to face, unless they die as a baby or a very very young child. Think of it like this. Lets say, as some heretics teach, that God decides you are one of the unlucky ones who is born to go to hell. That God chose you, to go to hell. How can that be JUST ? How could that be right? How could it possibly be that...."God is Love", if He is choosing some for the lake fo fire, just because they were born, and they have no part in the decision. That's the theology of judging God as evil, and its theological insanity to do it, and to teach it... but it is taught and it is believed. There are actually people on this Forum, and on all Christian Forums, that have been taught that some people are born to go to hell, and that God chooses them to go. I know the scriptures they twist to try to prove this Satanic theology, and i won't be quoting them here. No worries. So that theology is demonic, but, what is worse is that this doctrine is absolutely creating the Idea of God, as way beyond the evil of Hitler...... and in fact, its painting God as black as the Devil's heart, but worse, Because, its people pretending they are CHRISTIANS who are vilifying God this way. So, a JUST God, would never behave like this, and in fact....... Father God is a completely Just God. GOD, the Father of Jesus, is so Just, that He allowed the killing of a Sinless Son, to allow for the recreation of the SINNER, into the SINLESS. This is how salvation actually works. God takes the sinlessness of Christ and exchanges it for our Sin, and we end up as righteous as Christ, and Jesus ends up as "became sin" on the Cross and DIES FOR OUR SIN. Reader, the Cross is a SWAP.....Its where God's righteous Son gives us His Righteousness, and He takes all our sin....our entire lifetime of it, and dies for it ALL. = Salvation. = OSAS. And being saved, works exactly the same...regarding God's Justice.. God does not choose some for Heaven, as that is actually the same as choosing some for hell. Its the same thing. That is not how "freewill", "justification by faith", and "Christ in you the hope of Glory". works. God is not going to tell you....in John 3:16 that he'll accept "whosoever", and in another verse. "ALL that believe on Jesus, shall be saved", or "as MANY as will believe"...... God is not going to offer Salvation to any and all, worldwide and universe deep, then choose some for Hell. Yet, there are preachers that preach this message, and their Church is full of people that shout "AMEN" when he speaks about God choosing some for the Lake of Fire. And some of these people, are on this Forum. Salvation is a Free gift. We dont earn it, and God does not force it on anyone, nor does He take it away after we are born again. A born again person, is IN CHRIST....and Christ "in you = hope of HEAVEN, (glory)"". So, when you are dead, you will end up wherever Christ is, and that wont be Hell or the Lake of Fire. The Born again are in Him and He is IN Us, """SEALED unto the day of redemption""", and so, we have to end up where Jesus ends up, as we are IN HIM......IN HIM.....IN HIM. We go where He goes, where He IS, after we die, or are Raptured. Final Answer, is...Salvation is not a temporary situation. This is why The one who SAVES, and KEEPS YOU SAVED, said from the Cross that .. Philippians 1:6. "IT (Salvation) is FINISHED". We dont finish it., we dont keep ourselves saved. Christ said "it is FINISHED"""< and when we are saved, born again, our salvation is FINISHED. Philippians 1:6 OSAS. So, once again, remember that OSAS, only means that Salvation is God saving you, through Faith, when you believe on Christ, and then you become born again, and this can never cease to be your ETERNAL reality, because God Himself has saved you with the Blood of Jesus, and this HOLY Blood's power to redeem, redeems you for all eternity. "IT IS FINISHED". = SALVATION. The Blood that was shed on the Cross is GOD's BLOOD, and that is why it has the Power to keep you saved, and not just start your salvation. That is OSAS. ITs that simple. And no one who simply believes and accepts by FAITH the finished work of JESUS ON the Cross, who would explain it as OSAS...... has ever taught or will ever teach, that because we are always kept saved by God's grace, (BLOOD OF JESUS).. then we can then sin all we like and enjoy it. And you hear this on Forums like this one....These liars lying about OSAS, using the term "license to sin".... Its a lie, (reader).... Reader.....don't believe it. You've noticed that in the last 10 days, i've just basically written a BOOK about Legalism and Legalist here on this Forum, within many Threads, and never have I or would i ever say or teach that ... because the Blood of Jesus saved you and keeps you saved...that you can go out and live in sin and enjoy it. Not quite. Paul said if you do this, and you won't stop, you will die. Romans 8:13 So that is the end result of living in sin, after you are saved. It'll finally cost you your earthly life, but before it does, it'll destroy your life, first. You'll lose everything except your Salvation, if you live in sin, after you are born again. You'll lose your witness, your money, your family, your friends, finally your health, and then you'll die. THATS the result of "living in sin" as a born again believer in Yeshua. But no... it won't cost you your Salvation, as you don't control that part. That part is controlled by the one who " FINISHED IT"< on the Cross, and has created a believer as born again. Born again, this status of a "New creation in Christ", a born again SPIRIT< living inside the corrupt body, is an eternal situation. Hyper-Religious - Self Righteous- Legalists...... flip out when they are told this, because they believe in themselves to stay saved by works...., and so, that is why they can't allow God the Savior to keep them saved if they are..... "bad". But that is exactly what He has already done. He has already taken your LIFETIME OF BAD, and sent Jesus to the Cross to pay for it all so that YOU don't have to pay for it, in ETERNITY. = Salvation. = Grace. = OSAS What actually happens to a Legalist, who is saved .... who USE TO BE a Legalist, but has seen the Light of the Cross and now trusts in Christ alone to keep them saved......This person is freed from the impossible burden of trying to keep themselves saved, and they find that this frees them to actually live a more holy life then they were trying to live as a legalist. As now they are committing to their "be holy as God is holy" lifestyle that God EXPECTS, = = EMPOWERED by God's GRACE, instead of by their FLESH. Flesh fails, Grace doesn't. A Legalist, who has come to see the Light of Grace in the Face of Jesus, = the finished blood atonement, finds that living for the Lord becomes empowered by Grace, which allows you more self control then they ever had when they were trying to work to stay saved, and were always failing and confessing, failing and confessing............ always feeling condemned, always feeling guilty.........>. Grace, OSAS,..... once you come to realize this truth that God who saved you, will KEEP YOU SAVED, HIMSELF. Philippians 1:6. .....then (Grace understood) will empower you to live the Holy Life. That's the effect of the Grace of God, as its the Power of Christ's Blood having this empowering effect on you, simply because you understand it properly. Understand....."revelation" "seeing the Light" is not just comprehension of theological data, but it is in fact, LIFE POWER from GOD which empowers you to be what God wants you to be. "God's Grace" OSAS.
  25. Behold

    John 3:16 = OSAS

John 3:16, the most universally "known" bible verse ever created...(probably), actually teaches OSAS, and is in fact OSAS. They are the same. God's Grace is OSAS John 3:16 is OSAS Let me show you. Lets study this together. So....once again, let me define OSAS, so that you understand it properly, as there are many liars let loose in the world who have created a false misunderstanding about this term, and so, you need to know what it really means. The Truth. Here is what it really means... OSAS really means... What saved you.......keeps you saved. We are KEPT saved by What saved Us. = We are saved by JESUS, and we are Kept saved by Jesus. Philippians 1:6 Hebrews 12:2 OSAS means, that the Blood of Jesus, that saved us, keeps us saved. Thats it. Thats what it means. And here is John 3:16 that explains it as i have just defined it. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world......that HE GAVE His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVES IN JESUS, would not PERISH, but HAS eternal-everylasting life." This verse is one of the ways the NT defines OSAS, and there are many many others. So, lets look at this scripture, in LIGHT of OSAS that means....>"we are saved by Jesus and we are KEPT SAVED by Jesus. = OSAS Now, im going to drill down into this verse a little bit for you, so that you can get the wide perspective of it, in case you are a preacher, teacher, .... or maybe you want to do a Sunday School lesson on this verse, at some point. Therefore, (as always) i'll rightly divide it for you, using in context NT verses that support it. John 3:16........."For God so love the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son. So, how did God give Him?.......God gave Jesus THE Christ, to the WORLD, as a virgin born male, who is the "2nd Adam" who does not literally have an earthly father, which means Jesus is not born with a fallen Adamic (sin nature). Jesus's spiritual nature, is God, because Jesus is God. So then.. He lives a sinless life, and goes to the Cross and dies there..... bearing our Sin. (God so Love the world) the verse says and this is why and to whom Jesus was sacrified ...... And once this is accomplished...(Cross = Salvation), then Jesus says from the Cross...>"it is finished". And that is correct. Salvation, The Blood Atonement is now a completed OFFERING, to the WORLD, to all who would come.... Its a finished Salvation that is waiting to be given for free, ALL THE TIME, EVERYDAY, to anyone who will by FAITH "believe on the name of Jesus, and you shall be SAVED". Then.....and here comes OSAS.. you read in the verse that the born again who have obeyed this verse, (BELIEVED) will never "PERISH".....so, that is explained in John 10:28 were Jesus says you will never "perish", (can't go to hell, can't be damned)(eternal security)... and the born again are also GIVEN .. (you dont earn it) "Eternal Life". Listen Saint... Eternal life IS not a time frame.. ok? This phrase does not mean..."infinity and forever"..but rather, this is the POWER OF JESUS created concept that refers to living with Him and God, in the family of God, as the Body Of Christ, in ETERNITY. "Eternal life", is Jesus Himself, who IS the "resurrection and the LIFE"..... See that "life"...... THAT is eternal Life.......and here it is again...... John 14:6... Jesus saying....."i am The Way, The Truth, and THE LIFE"......and there it is again. Jesus is talking not about a time frame, but He is talking about HIMSELF< who IS Eternal Life... John 11:25 .. So,= this is OSAS......the fact that if you have Jesus..."Christ in you", and you are "in Christ", then because JESUS IS ETERNAL LIFE< then you have it right now, because you have HIM right now, and He has YOU right now = OSAS. Your Eternal Life, does not start after you are DEAD...... You have it NOW. You, the born again, are translated from darkness to Light.....right now. Jesus is the Light of the World and you are Children of the Light.....right NOW. Or as John says in 1 John 5:13 "i write these words so that you will KNOW". Know what? What does John want you to KNOW? ? ? That if you have BELIEVED on CHRIST, then you have ETERNAL LIFE. HAVE IT.........not waiting for it....but HAVE IT, = right now. So, see how ALL that fits like a glove with John 3:16 ? This is the interesting thing about OSAS.....This understanding, is all over the NT. The NT is filled with verses that speak about how Jesus saves you and keeps you saved. Paul will tell you. John just told you, and in fact the entire NT is the Blood of Jesus being written to you as a revelation of God, and how He saved you using a Cross and KEEPS YOU Saved with the Blood of Christ that was shed for you. = OSAS. blessings, <dw><
