  1. Behold

    Its All Yours.

When you were born again, you became a part of God's eternal family. Your status, eternal, changed, from "hell bound, lost, unbeliever".... to Redeemed, Child of God, Child of Light, Born again, and also this......"joint HEIR with Jesus". So, getting your head wrapped around this eternal reality,....truly wrapped around it, is game changing, is path changing, is Theology Changing, is, life changing. Now....lets start with the word "Heir". This means, in the biblical context, that...> whatever Jesus is, and whatever God has, is all yours. All of it. This is why your NT tells you...>"""As Jesus IS, so are we (born again) in THIS world"""......not later, not just in heaven, but already, right now. You, the born again, have become this....."IN Christ"......and this means, "connected to, as ONE", with God and with Christ. So here are some verses to help you to grab this amazing status that you have BECOME now that God has re-evalauated your worth and family membership, based on the shed blood of Jesus The Christ. Romans 8:2....."God that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for US all, shall God not >with him< also freely give us all things...."""" Now, do you see that phrase?..... "WITH HIM"..... and why does this matter the most of all?.......It matters because all the promises of God are IN HIM, in JESUS......so, the verse is teaching you to understand it like this... "with Him came all that is now YOURS, because what He IS, and what He can DO, and what He Possesses, comes WITH HIM, and He is IN YOU< and you are IN HIM......."in Christ". This simply and wonderfully means that "all the good that comes with Christ....healing, revelation, joy, power, gifts, resurrection, eternal life, favor, prosperity.....all this comes WITH HIM as your SALVATION, as all this is a part of Him, and it is now IN YOU, because He is in you, and you are ... "in Christ". What is His, is YOURS.....and this will never ever change. Glory to God ! This is why you, the born again, are now titled by God a "joint heir' of ALL that Christ has, and all that God has......as it ALL comes WITH THEM, and they are IN YOU, and you are IN THEM. 1st Corin 3:23 says that "all are YOURS...(all they have)....because ... You are Christ's and Christ is Gods..."" We are "ONE"......"one body"...."one Church"..... Now, what this Good NEWS means for you.....is...........when you need help, when you need healing, when you need love, when you need light, when you need anything..... realize that because you belong to God, all that He Is, ....= belongs to you, just like it belongs to Christ who IS ALL of it.. And because you have Him "In Christ", and because All that He is comes with Him, then you always have free access, as a "joint heir" to ALL that God and Chrst ARE....., and that is why "as Jesus IS, so are YOU< (right now) in THIS World.""" So, grab this reality.....believe this truth......trust this with all your heart, and let this absolute wonder of God's Amazing Grace be your strength and your joy and your Faith.
  2. My following testimony is inspired by shapes' post in the "Worthy Q & A for Seekers" forum. And I quote, "How does God deal with those who have mental illness. Does he heal people from this affliction?" https://www.worthychristianforums.com/topic/219239-mental-illness-god/#comment-2777709 God dealt with my mind in a mess by giving me a guardian angel. I have seen and heard her. God had me born into an amazing family. They love, protect and provide for me. God gave me and the ability to discern real true friends. Only a couple dozen never gave up on me. God supplied me with doctors, psychiatrists and professionals. Medications, personal care and safety nets caught me when I fell, repeatedly. God commands my government, nation and community services to help me, however little and lacking it is. God dealt with me by interacting with my heart, mind, body and soul. Most importantly, God dealt with my sin by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to save, protect and heal me. I have been saved since 2016's Christmas season. I dove deep into everything Christian and came up baptized on the last day of 2017 (also baptized as an infant). I attended some prayer meetings last year. They anointed me with oil and prayed for the healing of my mind. Since then, God has been healing and restoring me among other areas of my life. I feel shocks of energy surge though and jerk my body. I have been told this is the blood of Jesus running through me. When I am praying, willingly changing my thoughts to God's will, having revelations or meditating on God, I feel tangible physical healing in my temples behind my eyes. It has the similar sensation of a yawn, a condensed vibration. A Christian veteran I admire said something that stuck in my head relatively recently. "I don't even think like that anymore." It was a eureka revelation moment at the time and applies to what has been happening to my mind over the past year. I am becoming less like the Greg of the past and more like Christ. The Holy Spirit is alive and well in me and changing me for the better. The short answer is, "yes," He does heal people from this affliction. How God deals with sin, evil, death and even demons is by offering Jesus Christ a place in between us and all those "mental health issues." The secular world is leaving out God (in three Persons) as the ultimate and only real true solution, cure, coping mechanism and explanation, etcetera. I am living breathing proof. People would have a hard time believing my past. People in my past would have a hard time believing my present. My future will be hard to believe for anyone stuck in the secular world ignoring the one, true, living God. Jesus Christ is alive and well and has made me so, eternally, glory be to our Heavenly Father! 12 The demons begged Jesus, “Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.” 13 He gave them permission, and the impure spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned. - Mark 5:12-13 New International Version (NIV) 3 Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. - Hebrews 3:1 New International Version (NIV) 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:7 New International Version (NIV)
  3. 8The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness. 9The LORDis good to all, And His mercies are over all His works. 10All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD,....... Psalm 145. I want to praise the Lord for helping me with a big problem with my work! GBU all. New A
  4. Genesis 48:18-19 says, Joseph said to him, "No, my father, this one is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head," but his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He too will become a people, and he too will become great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a group of nations.” I find it interesting that Jacob/Israel blessed Joseph's 2nd born (Ephraim,) over his 1st born (Mannasseh.) It kind of repeated what had happened with Jacob himself, only he stole the blessing from his older brother, Essau , by deceiving his father, Isaac. There's obviously a reason that God put this in here and allowed this to happen that way. In tradition, the 1st born always received the blessing, inheritance, and a place of respect which made them privileged. Deuteronomy 21:17 says, But he shall acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the unloved, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of strength; to him belongs the right of the firstborn. I wonder if God saw that as an area of pride, and decided to humble mankind, even His people. It was definitely God that allowed the order to be reversed because He's in control of all things, and nothing happens without Him allowing it. Any thoughts on this?
  5. Hi One thing that really puzzles me is that in our region on BC the housing vacancy is at 0.5%. Many people, including families, have become homeless and are living in shelters. My husband and I were in that situation a few months ago, but we were blessed in a big way because we found a house to rent. Why did God bless us while some other family went homeless? We are not better Christians or better anything than anyone. Where and why do the blessings come? I'm certainly not complaining that we were blessed, I am just trying to understand it. That way, maybe I can help someone else. God bless, Cindy Lynn
  6. I am wondering why our daughter, Katelyn, who is a devote Christian, is dying of cancer. She is at stage 4 and has months or maybe a year to live. She is only 27 years old. In her day to day life she lives a life of peace. With everything she does, she does it to further the Word of the Lord. For instance, while I might be frustrated at the newbie cashier in store that charged me $20 extra by mistake, she would be humorous about it. She would tell the cashier, "Don't let that bother you for a minute. You did everything else right!" And with a big smile on her face she would wish the cashier a good day. Now I make sure I do that too, even when I'm frustrated with shopping. I learned it from her. With Katelyn,, every moment is an opportunity to show people what the Lord is all about by her actions. Katelyn goes down to the Mission, which serves free food to our homeless population, and tells them all about the Lord. She tells the people of our city all about the good it would do if they would donate to the Mission and it's second hand store. She has volunteered in that store before she got sick. Katelyn is in the hospital a lot. When she's there she goes room to room (when she is invited) and talks about the Lord and His plans for each of us. She is well loved by both Christians and non-Christians. The doctors and nurses at the hospital love her too. Katelyn is not without her blessings. When she got sick her boyfriend proposed to her and now she is married. She is in a very loving, respectful Christian marriage with a man she adores. And he adores her, and is at her bedside whenever she is in the hospital. He is an attentive, loving mate for her. She is blessed with a family who loves her, and a lot of friends who love her too. I truly don't understand why God would take such a beautiful girl, one who furthers His Word, one who loves Jesus unconditionally and continually spreads His Word, when He could easily take someone else who doesn't further God's Word. For instance, He could take me, I'm not as good as she is. I don't spread the Word like she does. I'm more of a recluse. Why take her? I'm trying not to be resentful, after all, we all have to die, and we all have our time to die. But I'm wondering, "Why now, she is only 27." Perhaps if all of you prayed for her, the Lord would reconsider his original plans and put her into remission and she would live longer. Please pray for Katelyn.

  8. Daily Reading 21 If you prefer, you can look up the following verses in your own Bible, of by whatever means and in whatever version you choose. Luke 16 Genesis 27:46-28:22 Psalm 21 Audio 4:27 Audio 5:~ Audio 1:03 The above addresses are linked to Bible Gateway. That is an easy way to read (or listen to) the Bible verses, and choose your version. Personally, I prefer written, that way I can go at my own pace, on think about it, before moving on. Nothing wrong with doing either or both. The Bible says faith comes by hearing. See the picture below to get an idea of what to expect if you follow the above links. Thank you Lord for making the your word so accessible for us in these times. Amen

  10. John 7:18 - "He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him." The pride that comes from mere bible knowledge is divisive. It creates an appetite for one's own opinion. Those trained without a revelation that takes us to Him are trained to speak from themselves, for their own glory. This drive for knowledge without an encounter with God wars against true righteousness. Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." All Fear is rooted in the notion that God's promises won't come to pass. Fear of poverty is really fear that Philippians 4:19 (concerning God providing all my needs) won't work. Fear of sickness is really the fear that 1 Peter 2:24 (concerning god's promise to heal me) won't work. OBSERVATION: I know that God is motivated by my faith and not my fears. As I hear God's word and receive it, faith will come. Likewise, if I listen to and receive satan's word's, fear will be amplified in my life. Since I have a choice --I choose faith! Ephesians 1:3,4 - "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. According as he has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love." Many people who are doing something significant for God in the world are doing it "without their own resources" because God doesn't want us to depend on our own abilities. Instead, He wants us to be obedient by putting the vision on paper and then looking to Him to generate the funds and other resources that are needed to support His own work. Your provision, however, is usually hidden until you act on your vision. Whatever you were born to do attracts what you need to do it. Therefore, you first have to establish what you want to do, and begin to do it, before the need can be met. Affirmations: I KNOW THAT GOD WILL NEVER GIVE ME A VISION WITHOUT PROVISION. I REALIZE THAT MY PROVISION IS USUALLY HIDDEN UNTIL I ACT ON MY VISION. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. Matthew 17:4 - "Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah." Peter wanted to come up with a program to organize what God was doing; but God would have us to forsake our various programs and gimmicks and, instead, simly listen to Jesus. The same glory is just as close to us as it was to Peter -- as is the same instance to revert to dead works in spite of who we have seen. Matthew 17:5 - "While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him." Deuteronomy 28:1 - " If you will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth." Affirmation: I MAKE A QUALITY DECISION TO DILIGENTLY LINE UP WITH GOD'S WORD SO I CAN RELEASE THE BLESSINGS OF GOD INTO THE EARTH. "If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land." - Isaiah 1:19 This opportunity is given to all who are saved, but not everyone is willing to adjust to a "diet" that is conducive to spiritual growth. Therefore, Jesus said, "For many are called, but few are chosen" (Matthew 22:14). In other words, "Few will pay the price in order to be chosen." This process of qualifying begins after we have received the gift of salvation, which has been freely provided for us by Jesus upon Calvary's Cross. James 1:19 - "Know this, my beloved brethren, let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger." THE WILLINGNESS TO LISTEN IS THE FIRST STEP TOWARD CHANGE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

  13. Hello my name is Ben and I'm from Australia. I have been saved for 3 years and love the lord. 14. As sons and daughters of the King, we have been given authority to pray Heaven's blessings to earth. It is God's desire to bless us and for us to witness and "see" His promises manifest. Just as Jeremiah was given the ability to "see" his new season (see Jeremiah 1:4-12), we are present-day Jeremiahs – having our eyes opened to understand and know all that God has formed for us (our future and DESTINY) has been preserved. No enemy will be able to steal our future unless we let him! The devil cannot take away what God has promised you unless you allow him entrance. POSITIONED FOR REVELATION What is His perfect will? It's easy to know because it is all written in His Word. Yet, there are times when we are being positioned for the "revelation" contained within His Word to us. Revelation is the hidden knowledge of God being made known. We are entering a season where many mysteries are being revealed. God has not withheld revelation FROM you; He has withheld revelation FOR you. Revelation occurs as God's wisdom and knowledge are released – as if He lifts a veil that has covered our eyes and we are now able to see. DRAWING NEAR It is His desire that we move closer – reposition ourselves to "draw near." And, in an intimate relationship He will speak to us concerning mysteries. It is time to"Set your mind of the things above, not on the things that are on the earth, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:2-3). It is your season to be as Jeremiah and allow God to touch your mouth (Jeremiah 1:9) so that you are empowered to see and confess all that Heaven says about God's PURPOSE for your life, your circumstances, and your future! BATTLE AGANIST UNBELIEF If you recall, Jeremiah could not see his future until God "touched his mouth." The word "touched" is the Greek word "naga" (Strongs 5060)and implies that God struck the unbelief that had held Jeremiah's faith captive. The word also implies a "violent act." Think about this a moment. God did a violent act against Jeremiah's unbelief. God, Himself, went to battle against Jeremiah's mindsets concerning his abilities to be used by God (see Jeremiah 1:1-12). The finished work at the Cross promises you a new season. Jeremiah was able to "see" an almond branch budding. The almond branch is the first branch to bloom in a new season. SEE your NEW season! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. As I sit here at my computer on this cool summer day,I want to thank all of you that prayed for my family and me: Things are much better praise God, THANK YOU God is good… A singer and songwriter by the name of Gordon Jensen wrote a song some years ago which mentions the fact that you and I as Christians are the only “Jesus” that many people will see. No, this does not mean we are Jesus Himself of course. We know He is Jesus all by Himself, yet it should be our goal and desire to be just a bit more like Him every day by sharing what Christ is like. We are to be “lights” in a dark world! If there is ever a time for people to see Christ in action through His people, it is today, tomorrow, everyday all the time.! Take a moment to read this story which I believe illustrates what we are to be in this world when it comes to sharing Christ. Pastor Mark Thompson of Faribault, Minnesota, suffered terrible knife wounds from an assailant in his home, in October 1988. One of the many consequences of his difficult recovery was being forced to miss watching his son Chris run in the state cross-country championship meet. Pastor Thompson commissioned his brother Merv to go in his stead. According to the account in the St. Paul Pioneer Press & Dispatch, Mark told his brother, “I can’t be there to see Chris run. So I want you there at the beginning of the race. Holler a lot. … Then at the end, I want you to really cheer loudly. And I want you to make your voice sound like mine.” Merv heeded the advice, and Chris ran a strong race, finishing second. Merv, also a pastor, discerned the theological truth in the story. “That’s what Jesus wants us to do.” he said. “Make your voice sound like mine.” Worthy Network Friends and Family, we are called to live in this world to “make our voice sound like His”! How can we know what His voice is like? Well, I believe one of the greatest ways is to get into the Word of God and see how He ministered to, and blessed people while on this earth. While the religious crowd often shunned Him, we know He took time for those who were hurting, depressed, broken and wounded. Let’s do that! There’s an old song that has these words: “Oh to be His hand extended, reaching out to the oppressed,Let me touch Him, let me touch Jesus,So that others may know and be blessed.” I encourage you today to do your best to walk where He would walk. To talk the way, He would talk, and to lend your voice to the voiceless! I know you all can, I thank you because you all did this for my family and me. Blessings in Christ, Willie T Ayers I pray to never begin my day without thinking that perhaps he may interrupt my daily routine and begin His own. I am not looking for death. I am looking for Him.Today might be the last day when Jesus returns. : The Joy I have the world did not give it to me......And the world can not take it away. Have a God-day http://www.gods-great-plan-4.us/

  18. TO MY WORTHY FAM : This is clearly past November 26th, but as some of you know- I am a 'poky little turtle.' lol. I hope that you all had the special Thanksgiving celebrations that you deserve. I wanted you to know that I've missed you during my long absence and hope that you feel the same way about me? I apologize for not touching base sooner but there have been many new illnesses and injuries in my family's lives (mine, too.) These have prevented my coming here till now. (Btw- when I first signed in, I came straight to Discussion to post this. So I have not checked my pms yet.) I thought perhaps this might be a belated Thanksgiving thread? If that is okay with all of you? If not, that's fine too. I understand. But I would love to hear how you spent your gatherings. Or if you have something to express thankfulness for or a particular scripture you would like to share regarding this topic. I thank my Creator for creating the friendships I have been blessed by over the years at Worthy. I will stop by as He leads and as my health permits. Anyone who wishes to pm me, feel free. As I said, I have missed you very much.

  20. My wife Alice & I will be traveling to the Philippines to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary with her family. We will be leaving on Aug 5th & returning on Aug 27th. While there we will travel to the island of Davao where we will be seeking Gods will on possibly retiring there & building a Christian school for young children. Her brother Charles is a Pastor & has teaching credentials there. We ask for your prayers that God may reveal to us his will in this regard.& also for his Blessing & protection as we travel. This would be a very difficult move for me but I told God if its his will I will go wherever he sends me. So far he looks to be opening doors for us Thru ministry at church I have been assisting in providing security for the Sunday school classes & just finished watching over the kids at Vacation Bible School. So God seems to be giving me experience in watching over children. Also our Pastor has said that the Church may be able to offer us support as missionaries there. Alice spent many years as a native missionary in the Philippines. This is going to be a major decision for us so we ask for your prayers so that we may know that this is Gods will for us. Yours in CHRIST, Bob & Alice.

  22. Jesus made this promise: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you” (John 15:7). There is only one part of this verse that most Christians really look at and that’s “you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” I myself long ago wanted to treat God as if he was some magical genie who was there to give me everything I’ve ever wanted. The problem with that, is there’s another part of the verse that we must notice here. “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you” The Greek word for abide is Thayer’s which is a strong word and means to remain, abide or not to depart. If we want to receive the life God calls us to have we must first remember to not depart from his ways. He makes us a pretty incredible offer here, but most of us choose to ignore following Jesus to focus on the desires of our flesh. The offer: you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you The terms: If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you”
  23. God constantly showers us with blessings. Each day we have answered prayers, unexpected blessings, received good services. Every good thing that happens to us are blessings from God. Thus, it is just right to thank God each day for little and big blessings alike. For this day, I would like to thank God for being surrounded with people that makes me feel that I am loved and that I am important! How about you, what would you be thankful to God for this day?
  24. I think a lot of people do not even realize a blessing when they see it. Who has a story about something that didn't seem to be a blessing at the time, but as they look back realize it for the blessing that it was.

    Blessings

This song really means a lot to me. It helped me understand God's hand in calling us to at times endure the trials and pressures of this life. I hope it blesses and encourages you! In Christ, Eagle "Blessings" - Laura Story We pray for blessings We pray for peace Comfort for family, protection while we sleep We pray for healing, for prosperity We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering All the while, You hear each spoken need Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops What if Your healing comes through tears What if a thousand sleepless nights Are what it takes to know You're near What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/l/laura+story/blessings_20910655.html ] We pray for wisdom Your voice to hear And we cry in anger when we cannot feel You near We doubt Your goodness, we doubt Your love As if every promise from Your Word is not enough All the while, You hear each desperate plea And long that we'd have faith to believe Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops What if Your healing comes through tears What if a thousand sleepless nights Are what it takes to know You're near And what if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise When friends betray us When darkness seems to win We know the pain reminds this heart That this is not, this is not our home Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops What if Your healing comes through tears And what if a thousand sleepless nights Are what it takes to know You're near What if my greatest disappointments Or the aching of this life Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy And what if trials of this life The rain, the storms, the hardest nights Are Your mercies in disguise
