I was saved in 1979 and soon after, I was attending an adult Sunday School class at Melodyland in Anaheim, CA, taught by Walter Martin. I had been doing some Bible study on my own on the topic of being filled with the Spirit. In that, I had noticed that the idea of "boldness" was very frequently associated with Spirit filling. I was very privileged to hear Dr. Martin speak to how boldness can be used in our lives as Christian. I really miss this man, but really was blessed to watch him speak passionately again in this video, about things the should matter to Christians who love the people for whom Christ died! Hi everyone, I need advice for evangelising please. I have to preach the gospel, there are no two ways about it BUT my anxiety and lack of boldness prevent me from doing so. My church and I go out evangelisng every get Saturday, I always panic and freeze on the spot. I have heard on several occasions, "Open your mouth to speak and the Holy Spirit will give you utterance", "pray for boldness". Honestly, I feel no matter how often I pray for boldness, I stay in the same spot. So here are my questions: How do you approach someone? How do you open a conversation? How do you react if someone asks you a question you don't know how to respond? I have told myself (and God) on several occasions, that I will go out and preach the gospel alone, put it into practice but anxiety and fear stop me from doing it. I need to stop letting the enemy get satisfaction out of procrastinating to do the most important task as a believer. Brothers and sisters in Christ, your prayers will be greatly appreciated. John 1:14 - "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth." Observation: Grace gives me courage, strength, and boldness to let my old way of seeing things and my past way of dealing with life be put to death. Then, in Spirit, I learn how to live and to "walk" above every natural event. 2 Corinthians 3:18 - "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord." To see God, it is imperative that our vision becomes spiritual and not just sensory. To hear God, we must learn to tune out the clamor of our fears and earthly desires. The Bible was written by individuals who actually beheld the glory of God. To see the glory of God is our call as well. Our spiritual vision is not an imaginary device of the mind, but that which comes from the living union of the Holy Spirit with our hearts. Matthew 5:8 -- "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." Affirmations:I ASK THE LORD TO SHOW ME HOW TO STEP OUT INTO THE GIFTS HE HAS GIVEN ME. THERE IS A MOVE OF GOD THAT IS LIVING IN ME AND THE LORD IS EAGER FOR IT TO BE RELEASED AND BRING GLORY TO HIS NAME. Philippians 3:13 - "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before." Affirmations: I KNOW THAT IF I MEASURE EVERYTHING BY WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN MY PAST, I WILL NEVER GROW BEYOND IT. MY CONFIDENCE RESTS IN WHAT GOD HAS SAID. Hebrews 13:6 - "So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Ephesians 1:5,6 - "Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved." Since we are adopted in Christ Jesus a low opinion of ourself or self-hatred is not from God, but from the enemy. Prayer is not trying to get God to do something for you by making Him feel sorry for you. It is coming to Him knowing that you not only deserve what you ask because of the righteousness of Christ, but you also have a right to it because it is based on His word. Hebrews 4:16 - "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." INTO ACTION:What are you doing to affirm who you are in Christ? List 3 advantages to knowing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Exodus 19:14 - "You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you t o Myself." In facing their threshold or brink, marching throught the "GATES" out of captivity in Egypt, Israel has to make a leap of faith. If they took the leap of faith, would God come and bear them up on eagle's wings? God comes through for Israel and opens up the Red Sea. He swoops down and picks them up, carrying them on His wings. However they had to leap first. Had they not taken bold, daring action, stepping out in faith, God could not have saved them. Bold action is always motivated by faith of some kind. Faith-filled people of God take bold action, which opens a "GATE" and releases spiritual power. Paul opened up a "GATE" in Ephesus when he boldly preached the gospel in the city. Not only were people changed but the socioeconomic system of the city was transformed as well. The city transformed (see Acts 19). Bold action opens up a "GATE" of spiritual power and blessing from God. The heavens over an area are opened in a new way. It is at the "GATES" as someone steps onto the threshold that faith and perseverance are tested. It is at the threshold where either spiritual abortion or spiritual birthing occurs. Affirmations: GOD HAS A GREAT DEAL FOR ME TO POSSESS. MY TAKING POSSESSION WILL REQUIRE GREAT FAITH AND PERSERVERANCE. GOD IS CONTINUALLY PUTTING NEW CHALLENGES BEFORE ME TO DEVELOP MY FAITH AND PERSEVERANCE AT A DEEPER LEVEL. I PRESS TOWARDS THE MARK FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS.
