  1. How do we have hope in heaven as believers in the world that we live in?
  2. CHINA: FIRSTFRUITS OF AN ANTICHRIST SURVEILLANCE GOVERNMENT "...President Xi Jinping considers Christians one of the greatest threats to his power. Underground churches are listed as one of the ‘new black five’ national security threats in China. It’s new under this president for churches to be classified as a national security threat. The government-sanctioned churches that are allowed to exist right now have unique restrictions. Each church has to install a facial-recognition camera in front of the pulpit. The purpose is to identify certain people in the congregation. Many classes of people are banned from entering into any church. These include young people under 18 years old, college students, doctors or medical professionals, civil servants, military members and educators. If they’re found, immediately their boss or a government official will be speaking with them. These are huge ramifications right now. It really began after President Xi Jinping took office in 2012. He is now nicknamed ‘Emperor Xi’ since he successfully removed his term limits in March of this year. When he took power, the mass forced demolition of crosses started in Zhejiang province. That area is called the Jerusalem of China. ... These are government-sanctioned churches. The house churches do not have buildings or a cross. ... On February 1 of this year, a new law called ‘Regulations on the Administration of Religious Affairs’ took effect. Things have become dramatically even worse. Bible-burning campaigns are happening across China. ... China is perhaps the world’s most sophisticated surveillance police state. It’s beyond anything the U.S. does. Some of these efforts are aided by greedy American companies. ... Apple decided to remove all virtual private networks from Apple Stores across China. They have a segregated Chinese version of the Apple iCloud. Supposedly this China iCloud is still part of Apple, offering iTunes content. But it’s totally controlled by the Chinese government. Cisco and Google are similar. China has the most cameras in the whole world, on every street corner." "...I noted how China has five categories of dangerous people. Now China is also building the world’s largest so-called ‘social credit’ system. If you get a traffic ticket, then one point of morality is deducted. If you are found in the underground church, your social score is essentially zero. You lose your right to buy airplane tickets. Last week, I was in South Korea attending a house church leadership conference. But 240 out of 300 church leaders were blocked in Chinese airports, even including Hong Kong, and declared as national security threats. They were not allowed to board the flight when they checked in to Customs.” - Way of Life Literature More here...
  3. What was your walk with God like? Did you have any experience's? Did anything change? Miracles? Testing? Holy spirit?
  4. "Then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine, and olive oil. I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied." - Deuteronomy 11:14-15 Many of us have recently undergone an intense time with a lot of warfare and opposition. However, even amidst the very opposition we may have experienced, the Lord was strengthening us. We will be found coming up out of our wilderness season, leaning on our Beloved (see Song of Songs 8:5). His desire during that time was to prepare and establish us for the new oil and abundance that He is getting ready to pour out. PREPARED FOR THE NEW The Lord does not waste our pain. Through the stretching and trials we have endured, we have been made stronger. We are now prepared for the "new" that He is ready to entrust us with. Mark 2:22 says that, "No one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins." We are becoming new wineskins in this very hour in order that we may be able to contain the new, fresh wine and steward the increase well. "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life" - Proverbs 13:12. The Lord is reviving weary hearts back to life, and He is healing hope deferred. The hardness of the previous season has lifted, and we entering into a time of singing and rejoicing! "See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, My darling; My beautiful one, come with Me" - Song of Songs 2:11-13. The Lord sends rains that will wash away the pain, weariness, and heartache from the previous seasons that you've experienced. "You gave abundant showers, O God; You refreshed Your weary inheritance. Your people settled in it, and from Your bounty, God, You provided for the poor" - Psalm 68:9-10. "Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard." - Isaiah 58:8 Many have continued to stand and contend for God's promises even in the midst of great, personal pain and misunderstanding. "Lift your eyes, O weary ones, for your redemption, draws near" - Luke 21:28b. Not for a moment has the Lord left your side or forsaken you. The Lord is our burden bearer, and even now, He is breaking chains that have sought to keep us bound. Our Father is removing those heavy burdens that have weighed down His children. Be encouraged! Our Savior has seen every tear that you have ever cried, and He is rushing on the scene like a mighty warrior. "Yahweh is a warrior, Yahweh is His Name" Exodus 15:3. The Lord is strong and mighty in battle. He is bringing His beloved Bride into a season of rest, peace, and great refreshing. For where you were previously not able to let down because of the consistent battle, now you will be able to rest and drink deeply of the Lord's abundant peace. He, Himself, is fighting for you! REFINED BY FIRE, REFRESHED BY RAINS You have come through the fire of the last season, forged and refined like the gold, and you are about ready to see and experience the Lord's goodness like never before! What He is about ready to release in your life will bring you such joy and restoration that you will say, "How could I have doubted the Lord's great goodness and love for me, even for a moment?" After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before (see Job 42:10). "Those who have sown in tears are about to reap much joy" - Psalm 126:5. "And Elijah said to Ahab, 'Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain'" - 1 Kings 18:41. The Lord is sending the sweet, rains of abundance. Listen closely, do you hear it? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  5. Hey everyone, I wanted to ask what was your experience in the past being with a traditional church or visiting one? Were both traditional churches (Orthodox & Catholic) friendly upon your visit or if you grew up in the church was there drama or other stuff going on around you? Reason why I'm asking is because I'm from an Orthodox Church and have taken up the curiosity of visiting other churches to hear other believers opinions upon the traditional churches, etc. I have heard many positive and negative things about the two and I would like to hear yours as well. God Bless!
  6. Hello everyone, So, I was just wondering since Jesus told us not to bring anything when we preach the gospel in Luke 9:3, then how does that view fit into our modern society? We have Bible apps now and faith-based mobile games like Blue Letter Bible, OnePassion Ministries, Play The Bible, GLOW: Guardian Light Of the World, Reborn Crosswords and others. How do we know what the red line is? Or whether we crossed it unknowingly? Or does the red line even exist? The reason why I'm asking these questions is because some churches are using Christian apps to do evangelism and I'm not saying that it's wrong, because I don't see anything wrong with it, I'm just confuse since I'm only a baby Christian and I don't feel that it is in line with what the Lord Jesus said. But if I have a wrong notion about this stuff, then by all means please correct my thinking. I hope to see your opinions on the matter. Thanks!
  7. 2 Corinthians 3:18 - "But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." WE ARE TO BE TRANSFORMED "FROM GLORY TO GLORY." THIS INDICATES AN UNFOLDING PROCESS TO CHANGE US INTO HIS IMAGE. THIS IS NOT A PROCESS THAT WE CAN ENGINEER OR CONTROL, BUT IT IS "FROM THE LORD, THE SPIRIT." WE SUBMIT TO IT BY "BEHOLDING THE GLORY OF THE LORD." AS WE BEHOLD HIS GLORY, WE WILL BE CHANGED INTO HIS IMAGE. WHEN WE FALL INTO THE TRAP OF TRYING TO CHANGE OURSELVES, IT RESULTS IN LOOKING AT OURSELVES INSTEAD OF HIM. THIS WILL INEVITABLY LEAD TO THE BLACK HOLE OF SELF-CENTEREDNESS. EVEN AFTER WE ARE BORN AGAIN INTO THE LORD TRANSFORMATION NEEDS TO TAKE PLACE IN OUR LIVES. AS WE KEEP OUR ATTENTION ON HIM, WE WILL CHANGE, EVEN IF WE ARE OFTEN UNAWARE OF IT. Matthew 22:29 - "You are wrong because you know neither the scriptures nor God's power." In this passage, Jesus rebukes the Pharisees for their ignorance of the scriptures and God's power. What was the cause? They didn't allow the scriptures to lead them to God. They didn't understand......not really understand. The word "know" in this passage speaks of "personal experience." They tried to learn apart from such an experience. Their study didn't lead them to an encounter with God. It became an end in itself. Christianity is not a philosophy; it is a relationship. It's the "God encounter" that makes the concepts powerful. We must require this of ourselves. How? We must seek until we find. We must be moved with the love of God to the point that we seek His face until we are "clothed with power from on high!" Luke 11:10 - "For everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks and keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking, the door will be opened." AMP Psalm 141:3 - "Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips." Affirmation: THE WORLD IS LIKE A RUSHING RIVER, PULLING AT ME, TRYING TO GET ME TO FLOW WITH IT. I MAKE THE DECISION TODAY TO PADDLE UPSTREAM AGAINST THE CURRENT BY SPEAKING GOD'S WORD INTO MY LIFE. Proverbs 4:20 - "My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings." 8. "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." - 2 Corinthians 3:18 We are born into this world into an earthly realm. We are not born into the realm of God's Spirit; that's why through Jesus we need to be born AGAIN into the spiritual realm. When you were born again, you were given the "Rite of passage" to enter from one dimension to another. From the natural into the eternal. The Bible talks about the realms of glory. We are changed "from glory to glory" (2 Corinthians 3:18). So there are realms of glory, not just one realm. When people are born again they begin to develop a hunger for the spiritual realm? They begin to get a feeling that there is more: there is more to this life; there is more to this place called earth. That is because the spirit now in them doesn't belong here; the spirit in them comes from above and from another realm – a heavenly place. That's why you will never be content in an earthbound realm. You were created for another environment. ANOTHER REALM When Jesus died and rose again, He purchased our salvation. But salvation includes so much more than we first think. Jesus redeemed us from the law and the repercussions of being under the law and failing to meet its demands. "We have all come short..." the apostle Paul said (Romans 3:23). Jesus redeemed us from death. He took the keys of Hell and released us from the power of the evil one. God gave us power to transit into another realm. This other realm is His realm; it's the realm where God dwells and His angels, and it's the realm of the heavenly city and of the spiritual elements of God and His Kingdom. He made us joint heirs with Christ. It's not just when we finally get to Heaven, it's here now. His Kingdom has come among us and in us and He wants it to flow through us and affect those around us. We receive by faith the things He has provided and made available through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It's a new and living way and we should walk in it. RITE OF PASSAGE He gave you a new nature to transplant you or translate you into another realm and into the realm of eternity. This is the realm of Heaven where the presence of God dwells continually day and night. Jesus purchased you the RITE OF PASSAGE with His Blood. So that now you are not restricted or limited to the natural realm. The supernatural realm, the realm of miracles and wonders, is yours if you will receive it. You have to believe what God says about you. You are a son and daughter of the Almighty God, an heir of His Kingdom. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  9. There is a hidden movement going on: Unfruitful Christians' movement. I do not know if you have noticed. It is composed by Christians who do not have any pleasure or interest to cultivate the fruits of the Holy Spirit. "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." - Matthew 7:19 "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." - James 2:26 They usually have very deceiving excuses to justify their pleasure to please Satan. Yes, they are pleasing Satan because if they're not pleasing God then who are they pleasing? There is no middle, or you please Satan or you please God. Then if you are not pleasing God you are automatically pleasing Satan and vice-versa. "But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one." - Matthew 5:37 But why this bothers me so much?! Because it hurts and discourages people in the faith, and give place to Satan to deceive them. People, and I say people who are supposedly in the faith, I am not talking about ungodly people who are in the world. They have many excuses ready whenever they are rebuked for their unchristian behavior: hate, bitterness, unkindness, envy, lies, etc. One of the most common is: "I am not perfect. That is why Jesus paid for my sins because I am unworthy". "Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." - Romans 6:4 OK, my friend... But is that what He is really expecting?! Or you're just deceived by Satan?! Because it is in those things that Satan rejoices, you hurt others in every way by using the excuse of: "I am not perfect. That is why Jesus paid for my sins because I am unworthy". Or will you say to me: "But the Lord understands me. He knows my heart". Yes, He knows your heart and He is seeing what is coming out of it as well. Do not be deceived. "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." - Luke 6:45 "Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen." - Hebrews 13:20-21 To use the excuse: "Jesus paid for my sins, then I'm going to please Him in every way I can by putting in practice all He taught us". To do what is good and honorable in His sight no one wants then?! I still remember when I started following Jesus about 1 year ago, I was so happy, so animated, so full of life and love... But I have noticed I have been declining since then, then something warned me of this in my heart... That I should seek to be like when I started, and always seeking to improve, and not to find excuses to quench the Spirit. Do not be deceived, to think like this: "I am not perfect. Jesus paid for it then I can live hurting others in every way and they have to understand me". It is a result of a proud heart, and definitely it is bad because the person is content in working against the Lord Jesus Christ - who died for them and rose again. Jesus said that we should love one another, when we find excuses to harm others and to do what is unpleasing to Him we are not loving others, and much less Him. "We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him." - 1 John 3:14 The way of pride is not good and it blinds ourselves... Then humble yourself and seek to be a better person daily, if indeed you love the Lord Jesus. Because that is what He wants, that we humble ourselves daily before Him, and to seek to be better and not worse than we have started. "But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”" - Matthew 9:13 "Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18:4 But I see many goes the opposite way and go prideful and just please Satan with excuses, by harming others. And the Lord Jesus becomes distant in their lives. And not only that, when people in the world see it they just compare and say: "Why would I be like them, there is no difference". And when there is no difference between the godly and the ungodly... Then it means all became ungodly. What a sad destiny, isn't it?! "He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad." - Matthew 12:30 What the Lord Jesus has said?! What should we imitate?! "Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God." - 3 John 11 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another." - John 13:34 "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples." - John 15:8 He said that we should love our enemies... Then how much more we should love our brothers and sisters in the faith?! "But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil." - Luke 6:35 You see, He is kind to the unthankful and evil... And there are people who are supposedly in the faith who are not even seeking to be kind with their brothers and sisters. Then, my beloved, let us not seek to find excuses to harm one another... But let us find reasons to love one another, and we have many more reasons to do that. Don't you think so?! "and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again." - 2 Corinthians 5:15 "And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”" - 1 Peter 4:8 It is really sad when we see people in the faith dishonoring the Lord Jesus Christ on purpose and using excuses that - in reality - does not excuse anything. "My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you, I would like to be present with you now and to change my tone; for I have doubts about you." - Galatians 4:19-20 And it is for our shame that I write this, because I see people blind by pride and does not seek to cultivate the good fruits of the Holy Spirit. "Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place - unless you repent." - Revelation 2:4-5 But for you who are reading this and really loves the Lord Jesus Christ, just continue in this good path, with sincerity and love - this pleases the Lord. And you are not wrong, but you are serving as a good example... Do not let Satan deceive you that you should be like those people, we should all seek to be like the Lord Jesus is. And soon we all will be together with Him. "And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." - 1 John 3:3 But for you who still insists in finding excuses for your devil like behavior... Because is tired from work, tired from family, tired from everything and does not stop complaining. Then I strongly suggest you decide what is more important to you. Because many have deviated from Truth due to the cares of this world. "and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful." - Mark 4:19 Make a choice in your heart and decide for yourself who you are going to love: Satan or Jesus. Because no one can serve nor love both. "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" - 2 Corinthians 6:14 And... "If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!" - 1 Corinthians 16:22 Glory to God! Amen.
  10. I need advice. I am a strong Christian. I have a room mate who is very devoted to his Muslim faith. His faith requires him to perform a wudu. A practice of cleaning out his nose every time before he prays. He does this in the bathroom sink more than 5 times a day. I have asked him several times to please find another way to respect his Wudu, but he refuses to change his ways. Land lord will not get involved and I can't afford to move. I need advice... I admire his devoteness to his faith, but his practicing his faith absolutely disgusts me.
  11. Hey everyone! I have a question. I have noticed a lot of street preachers in my hometown and also on social media. Does the bible tell us to preach the gospel on street corners or? Because, the only verse I'm aware of is preaching the gospel to all nations. I don't know if that is considered preaching, I've seen lots of crazy stuff happen to street preachers. So, I'm curious if we as Christians are suppose to do that or not, street preach, etc?
  12. "Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." - Matthew 9:38 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.." - Matthew 28:19 FOUR STEPS TO EFFECTIVE STREET EVANGELISM: 1) Pray! It's important to talk to God about people before you talk to people about God. Start out by prayer walking in the area that you want to do evangelism. Ask God for insight and direction. Pray for the people that you see. Pray for the Holy Spirit to go before you to prepare people's hearts, and to guide you to the people that are ready to hear. 2) Make contact: Still in an attitude of prayer, ask God to direct you to people. Introduce yourself and have an opening dialogue statement, like this "Hi, my name is __________, I'm here from Community Church to let you know that God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life." Then allow the conversation to flow from there. Be sensitive to God's direction, and allow Him to speak through you (i.e. the gifts of the Spirit, etc). 3) Meal outreach--offering sacked lunches to the homeless. It's one thing to just pass out free food, its another to take time to sit and eat with someone, and spend the time talking with them. 4) Recognize that evangelism (especially cold contact evangelism) is a process of removing the walls and barriers that keep people separated from God. Think of it as a chain . . . sometimes you are the first link in the chain, sometimes you are the last (and have the privelege of actually introducing someone to a relationship with Jesus). Most often you are somewhere in between. You will reap where you did not sow, but you must also be willing to sow where you don't reap. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. John 6:63 - "It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you they are Spirit and they are life." WHEN WE HALT OUR SPIRITUAL ASCENT TOWARD GOD AT THE PLATEAU OF DOCTRINAL KNOWLEDGE, WE BECOME PEOPLE WHO NEVER REALLY CHANGE. INSTEAD, OUR OLD NATURE SIMPLY PRETENDS TO BE NEW. THE LONGER WE SETTLE FOR JUST HEAD KNOWLEDGE, THE MORE OUR CHRISTIANITY BEGINS TO DEGENERATE INTO A RELIGIOUS SPIRIT. Romans 8:26 - "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." There are times when we are called by God to pray strong prayers and help to birth the will of God into an area. These strong desires mirror the strength of God's feelings. We, like Hannah, need to be in-tune with what God is ready to bring forth in that given hour. That can only be done through intimacy with God and through a willingness to allow Him to use us. Affirmation: I CONFESS THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS MY PARTNER! HE ENLIGHTENS MY EYES; HE SHOWS ME WHAT I CANNOT SEE BY MYSELF, AND HE GIVES ME THE RIGHT WORDS TO SAY WHEN I PRAY. WITH HIM AS MY HELPER I AM GETTING BETTER AND BETTER IN PRAYER EVERY DAY! Song of Solomon 1:2,3 - "For your love is better than wine and your ointments more fragrant than the choicest perfumes; your name is as ointment poured forth; therefore do the maidens love you." THE NAME OF THE BRIDEGROOM (JESUS) IS SO LOVELY THAT YOU FIND YOURSELF WHOLLY OVERCOME BY HIS POWER AND SWEETNESS. LOVE TAKES PLACE WITHOUT ANY FORCE. YOUR SPIRIT IS SO FULL OF LOVE AND YOU FIND THE LOVE OF YOUR BELOVED SO PLEASURABLE, THAT YOU ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE CARRIED AWAY BY THE CHARMS OF LOVE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. Numbers 13:27,28,33 - "We came unto the land where thou sent us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great. And there we saw the giants." There is a wonderful grace offered for us to advance in the times of adversity! The invitation is extended to all saints; however, by a lack of commitment many will disqualify themselves. This is a time to be desperate for the revealed glory of God. One of the marks of these overcomers will be hunger and complete dissatisfaction with business as usual. This holy hunger will drive us to seek the Lord on a much more increased level. Jesus states “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with God, shall be completely satisfied!" - Matthew 5:6 AMP It’s time to remove all lids of limitations off -- believe God for big things (see Ephesians 3:20-21). The promise is that the whole earth shall be filled with the knowledge of God’s glory (see Numbers 14:21 and Hab. 2:14). The Spirit of God is stirring our soul and awaking our heart to seek deeper depths and higher heights. This is the time for us to go all out for Christ and the Kingdom of God. We don't hold back -- we surrender ourselves completely to the control and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The statement is so true -- deep is calling to deep (see Psalms 42:7). Observation: THE EXODUS FROM THE MIND TO THE HEART DEMANDS THAT WE MUST FACE AND CONQUER THE GIANTS OF SIN, CONDEMNATION AND IGNORANCE. AS WITH ANY JOURNEY TO A DISTANT LAND, THE PRICE TO ACTUALLY TRAVEL TO THAT COUNTRY, TO TASTE ITS WATER AND BREATHE ITS AIR, FAR EXCEEDS THE PRICE OF MERELY READING OF ITS BEAUTY IN A BOOK. 2 Corinthians 12:12 - "Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds." Affirmations: I CONFESS THAT GOD IS FILLING ME WITH SUPERNATURAL ENDURANCE TO STAY PUT UNTIL I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE ASSIGNMENT HE ASKED ME TO DO. I DECLARE THAT I AM STRONG; I AM FILLED WITH FORTITUDE; AND I WILL DO PRECISELY WHAT GOD HAS ASKED ME TO DO! Song of Solomon 1:2 - "Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth: for thy love is better than wine." The "kiss" is the union of God's Spirit to our spirit. When a person is first converted, he is united to God but he has not yet come to experience Him deeply. There is a deep and abiding union with Christ that we can come to know. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. Jesus said to Nathanael, "You will see greater things than these...I say to you, you will see the heavens opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.- John 1: 50,51. Most Christians see the heavens closed. Few see with open vision either into the heavenly realms or into their own hearts. Romans 14:17 - "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit." The Kingdom is contained by the presence of the Spirit of God. Releasing the treasure that you carry is the big challenge for the Christian life. We have been called from eternity towards time. What faith means is that we live FROM HEAVEN TOWARDS EARTH Christianity in its present state is that we live from earth towards heaven. Our focus is to call out to God to fix a problem. Yet He has equiped and assigned us to function in His authority to deal with the problem. LEARNING TO SEE DIFFERENTLY The Kingdom is invisible and we have to learn to see differently. That's why Paul said, "What you see is temporal , what you cannot see is eternal." The Lord is trying to engage us -- He is trying to get us to reach into the invisible, because where your heart is your treasure is. Wherever you sow yourself is where your heart will be. Repent means to go back to God's perspective on reality. QUESTION TO ASK MYSELF: Do I think that I can have the Spirit of God resting on me and have the heavens close over me? Most believers go into dark situations and contend and pray and fight for an open heaven. What does that mean? We see the sky over us as dark. What does revelation do -- it reveals what already exists. It is not dark over you if you are abiding in Christ. Why? -- because the Father jealously desires the Spirit of God that is resting you you -- He will allow no darkness to separate. AN OPEN HEAVEN IS ALWAYS OVER US Over is an open heaven -- it is always there. It doesn't mean that we are always ready to take advantage of it -- it doesn; mean that we recognize it -- the the Father jealously desires the Spirit in us. The more we abide and walk in His presence the more He trusts His presence to rest upon us, which increases the Open Heaven around us. The more your mantle increases, the more your responsibility increases. The more your responsibility increases, the greater representation from heaven goes with you. Heaven follows those who live a lifestyle of risk and carry a mantle of authority and reaponsibility. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  16. Rev 4:1 - "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven; and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, 'Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.'" John is describing the ascended life. John 3:13 - "And no man hath ascended up to heave, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." The Lord has called us to ascend into heavenly relms encountering the Lord and that is the normal Christian life -- learning to live in realms of glory and learning to navigate realms of glory to where they have full and complete impact on how we think and how we see. We don't live on earth -- we are seated in heavenly places and we are to live from the ream of God's glory towards earth. What that has become is a point of theology instead of a point of expierence. And all of theology is an invitation to an encounter. WHAT REVELATION MEANS IS TO LIFT THE VEIL The truth has always been what He has done -- revelation lifts the veil so that you can see what what that truth is. We love concept so much that we stop at the concept of truth and not realize that with revelation comes the responsibilty to PURSUE THE ANOINTING so that we can display the effect of that truth. 1 Corinthians 12:5,7,31 - "Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. But the manifestation of the Spirit is give to every man to profit withal. But covet earnestly the best gifts.." Paul is lifting the veil on what they need to understand. In 1 Corinthians 14:1 it says to pursue earnstly spiritual gifts. What gifts? -- the ones he just unveiled in Chapter 12. It shows that the revelation of the gift didn't release the gift -- it showed just what is available. The revelation of truth shows what is available. And with revelation is the invitation to pursue for personal encounter -- we get into the secret place and look for the anointing so we can display that truth. WE ARE WIRED FOR THE GLORY -- WE ARE DESIGNED FOR THE GLORY John 7:37 - "If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink." The release of the spirit upon you is connected with Jesus' position of being glorified. Everything the HS does has only one aim -- to make us like Jesus. 1 John 4:17 --"As He is so are we in this world" -- resurrected, ascended, and glorified. In that position, so are we in the world. TRANSFIGURED MIND -- RENEWED MIND These scriptures reveal intent -- the weight of what already exists in our HS account. Matthew 17:2 -- "And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and his rainment was white as he light." The word for transfigured in Matthew 17:2 and Mark 9:2 is the same Greek word word for renewal in Romans 12:2. (Strongs 3339) That transfigured mind in the visual is what the renewed mind looks like in the invisible -- it is altogether brilliant. In this transfigured moment- Jesus is the prototype of the glorious pelople in this moment. The implact of who you are and what you carry. Moses was known for authority and Elijah for power -- these are the two realms that Jesus released over his disciples. This is the proptotype of what will happen with every believer who are to come to power and authority to effect and bring about change. JESUS PAID THE PRICE Jesus became sin so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him -- Moses and Elijah came to talk to Him about His upcoing death that was to make that possible. God is wanting to re-calibrate the hearts of people. Psalm 93 shows Asaph when he came into the sanctuary and experienced the glory. Everything outside the Glory is subject to distortion -- be mis-represented -- our passion desire, and ability is to live in the glory. We were designed with glory -- recognition and favor, realms of presence. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  17. 1 Corinthians 2:16 - "For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ, the Messiah, and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. " If you feel weary and discouraged, in need of wisdom and direction, simply ask for God's grace and guidance. As we seek His PURPOSE FOR OUR LIFE and not just the benefits of "His hand," we will find that the more we know Abba Father, the more His love and compassion will emanate through us. The light and wisdom we seek from above are not to be found in human programs of education and psychology, or even in our common sense and good intentions, but only, exclusively, in the Person of Christ Jesus. "He has been made unto us wisdom." - 1 Corinthians 1:30. Affirmations: GOD WANTS ME TO BE SO IN TUNE WITH HIS SPIRIT THAT I AM ABLE TO FEEL HIS HEART OF COMPASSION TOWARD THOSE AROUND ME WHO ARE HURTING OR AFFLICTED WITH SICKNESS AND PAIN. SINCE HE IS ONE WITH ME, HE CAN REACH OUT THROUGH MY HANDS AND FULFILL HIS PURPOSES IN THE EARTH. 1 Corinthians 3:3 - "You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men?" GOD HAS MORE FOR US THAT MERELY BECOMING BETTER PEOPLE; HE WANTS TO FLOOD OUR LIVES WITH THE SAME POWER THAT RAISED CHRIST FROM THE DEAD! GOD DOES NOT MERELY WANTS US "NORMAL," HE WANTS US CHRISTLIKE! Romans 5:20 - "But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound." Observation: GOD USES DARK MOMENTS AS OPPORTUNITIES TO POUR OUT HIS GRACE AND TO SHOW OTHERS WHO HE IS! I CHOOSE TO PUSH AWAY ALL MY FEARS AND TO BELIEVE THAT GOD IS GOING TO DO SOMETHING MIRACULOUS TO SAVE THE DAY! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  18. Acts 28:3,5 - "And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. But Paul shook the snake off into the fire without being harmed at all." Observation: Every disaster the devil sends is an opportunity to advance the Gospel. Because I keep going and never give up, God's Spirit is always available to help me in every situation. 1 Corinthians 9:25,26 - "Every athlete in training submits to strict discipline; he does so in order to be crowned with a wreath that will not last; but we do it for one that will last forever. That is why I run straight for the finish line; that is why I am like a boxer, who does not waste his punches." Affirmations: I AM EXHORTED TO LIVE WITH PURPOSE. I AM NOT JUST TO EXIST OR GET BY; NOR AM I TO MEASURE SUCCESS BY THE WORLD'S STANDARDS, BUT BY HEAVEN'S STANDARDS. I AM ENTRUSTED AS A STEWARD WITH GOD-GIVEN GIFTS, ABILITIES, AND RESOURCES. 1 John 3:22 - "And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight". Isaiah 1:19 - "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land." This opportunity is given to all who are saved, but not everyone is willing to adjust to a "diet" that is conducive to spiritual growth. We will mature spiritually as we are discipled into who we are in Christ, our "right standing with God" and how to "walk in the Spirit". In our identification with the Lord in the outworking of His PURPOSE for our life, we must develop a sensitivity to the Lord's presence, that we might rightly respond to Him as He seeks to guide us toward spiritual maturity. 19. Matthew 24:12 - "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Satan wanats you to become the termperature of the culture that surrounds you, a believer bound by a stone cold heart. By exposure to hardness and darkness in the times that we live in, our love and passion wil begin to cool by degrees. When you see churches and individuals who do not have the energy to reach-out, it's an indication that their love has grown cold. In Numbers 16:37, the Lord told moses to "scatter the burning coals abroad."This is precisely what the great commission is al about -- spreading the Word with a fiery heart. Affirmations: I REFUSE TO STAY IN A NORMAL MODE; I'M NOT GOING TO LET THE WORLDS CULTURAL WISDOM SQUEEZE ME INTO ITS MOLD. THE WORLD'S POLITICALLY CORRECT AGENDA CAN'T DICTATE TO ME ANYMORE. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: 1. What am I doing to stoke the fire of my love and passion for advancing the Great Commission? 2. What is my passion? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. Psalm 138:2 - "I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou has magnified thy word above all thy name." Every word God speaks is also a law to Himself. He will subject Himself to His promises and decrees because of His integrity. Therefore, any law of God is a law to God. Mark 4:24 - "And He said unto them, 'Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete it shall be measured to you."' How many blessings are you going to receive from the Word of God? It depends on how many you expect to receive. When God measures them out to you, He'll be using your measuring stick, not His own. 2 Timothy 2:20 - "In a large house there are dishes and bowls of all kinds: some are made of silver and gold, others of wood and clay: some are for special occasions, others for ordinary use." CERTAINLY THERE ARE GOING TO BE SOME GOLDEN VESSELS IN THE KINGDOM AND THERE ARE GOING TO BE SOME CLAY POTS, BUT WE ARE THE ONES - NOT GOD - WHO DETERMINES WHICH KIND WE WILL BE. 2 Timothy 2:21 - 'If anyone makes himself clean from all these evil things, he will be used for special purposes, because he is dedicated and useful to his Master, ready to be used for every good work." 21. Hebrews 4:1-3 - "Let us fear therefore, lest haply a promise being left us of entering into His rest, any of you should seem to have come short of it....because they were not united by faith with them that heard. For we which have believed do enter into that rest.." We speak, with Scripture, of the "rest" of faith. Faith, however, only gives rest because it rests in God; it rests because it allows God to do all; the rest is in God Himself. It is His own divine rest into which we enter by faith -- in the entire surrender to Him, to His will and His working, that we may have perfect rest, that we dare to cast ourselves upon God, and have no care. BECAUSE CHRIST HAS: put away sin, has rent the veil, and is set down on the right hand ofof the throne, because all is finished and perfected, we have received the Holy Spirit from heaven in our hearts to make us the partakers of that glorified Christ, we may with confidence, with boldness, rest in Him to maintain and perfect His work in us in our individual CALLING in Christ. And, resting in Him, He becomes our Joshua (bringing us in and perfecting our faith) and giving us a home in the rest of God with Himself, now to go no more out -- forever. JESUS IS OUR JOSHUA Let us do what Israel did in crossing the Jordan; they allowed Joshua to bring them in; they followed him. Let us follow Jesus in the path He trod. In heaven God's will is all. On earth Jesus lived in the will of God, in suffering and doing, in meeting trial, in waiting for the Father's guidance; in giving up everything to it, He proved that God's will was His path. FOLLOW HIM We yelid ourselves in the death to self, to the will of God; having faith in Jesus on the throne, as our Head and life, that He has brought us in and will make it true in our experience -- we trust Jesus, by being a partaker of His nature and life, to work all in us that the Father has PURPOSED for our individual life -- and we shall know how blessed it is to enter the rest of God. 22. We will never be righteous due to anything we do for God. Only the righteousness of Jesus Christ which covers us makes us righteous. This is why in Galatians 3:1, Paul addressed those in the Church concerning this issue. Paul was concerned that they seemed to have tossed aside the finished work of Christ and were back into the old belief system that involved the Law and performance. If they were truly doing this, and obviously Paul thought they were, then they were negating what occurred on the Cross! Read what Paul said to the Galatians: "You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort. Have you suffered so much for nothing – if it really was for nothing? Does God give you His Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard? Consider Abraham: "He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." Galatians 3:1-6 HEARING THE WORD Paul pointed out that the Galatians had become "foolish." He asked them if they received the Spirit by observing the law or believing what that had "heard." Let us all remember how faith in God comes – by "hearing and hearing" the Word (Romans 10:17). We "believe" because we "hear," and not because of what we do! What we do for God does not make us righteous, nor does it cause our faith to become established. Our relationship with Him establishes our faith and our righteousness is only due to the fact that when Christ shed His Blood, we, therefore, became righteous. Notice that Paul asked the Galatians who had "bewitched" them. This word means "cast a spell," (over them) or "fascinated" (them). Fascination and sensationalism are closely linked. THE MEANING OF "SOZO" When Jesus died on the Cross, He provided the fullness of "sozo", a Greek word meaning not only salvation, but also healing, deliverance, provision and all that Heaven offers! Yet, if our relationship with God is somewhat superficial (meaning we want the sensation without the relationship) we fall short of receiving what we need from God because we really don't know how to believe for His best! FOCUS ON JESUS It is unfortunate many have become self-focused rather than God-focused. By this I mean that we focus on what we need rather than the One Who shed His Blood to provide what is needed.Matthew 6:33 says that we are to "...seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." Did you notice that we are to seek first God's Kingdom and "His" righteousness? This means that we are not righteous without Him and that we are to seek His righteousness – this is clearly stating that we cannot be righteous due to our performance or religious works, but only righteous due to Christ's righteousness. Secondly, when we do this "first" then "all" things are added to us. The term "all" in this passage refers to everything we need is already accomplished due to the finished work of Christ! We need not perform any longer believing that this makes us a better person or that God will bless us because of what we do. No! It means whatever we need is already done – at the Cross! RECEIVE THE FINISHED WORK ON THE CROSS -- EVERY DAY When we "plead the Blood," we are proclaiming all that Jesus accomplished for us by shedding His Blood. To plead it with faith of all that Christ did on our behalf will release the demonstration and power of God! BAPTIZE YOUR LAND TODAY OR ANY DAY God provided the first sacrifice for the sin of mankind. He placed skins of a slain animal upon both Adam and Eve to cover their sin. Later we notice that Noah, upon coming out of the ark after the Flood, made a sacrifice to God immediately upon stepping onto the land. This is symbolic of our going to baptize our Promised Land by recalling what Jesus accomplished at the Cross. In other words, when we recognize what Christ did and that we are righteous due to His Blood, it empowers us to take our Promised Land! Think upon this -- Every time we receive a prophetic promise or prophetic revelation, we baptize that promise from God by renewing our mind concerning what Christ did at the Cross. We can, therefore, tell the devil to "get off our land," when we remind him that the battle is already won! So rise up and declare the power that is in the Blood! And, know that TODAY is your day that God will provide for your every need! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  23. James 4:5 - "Surely, you don't think scripture is wrong when it says: the Spirit which He sent to live in us wants us for Himself alone?" Observation: The Holy Spirit within me conflicts with fleshly desire, urging me into service for Him. It still requires my submission and my action. Being led the the Holy Spirit is an ongoing God encounter. A religious spirit is a demonic presence that works to get us to substitute being led by our intellect instead of the Spirit of God. Ephesians 2:10 - "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them." Genesis 1:2 - "And the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters." THE HOLY SPIRIT IS EVER MOVING, WORKING, AND BRINGING FORTH THE PURPOSES OF GOD. THE NATURE OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IS TO BE MOVING AND GOING SOMEWHERE. 1 Corinthians 1:5 - "That in every thing you are enriched by Him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge." Every time we confess God's word Jesus' enrichment ministry adds another grain of faith, another bit of anointing, to our faith and to our words. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  24. Hey everyone, Yesterday I visited a new church on my (Church Adventure). During the sermon the pastor was talking about Salvation. And the one thing that threw me off guard was the fact that he said "Revelation IS Salvation" I know that when it comes to the book of Revelation. There is lots of symbolism, and meaning to the end of days with the rapture and the mark of the beast. He tried explaining Salvation in Revelation. But it is impossible for me to see Jesus giving Salvation when he returns since he is going to bring justice for his people and finish the wicked. I wanted to know your opinion on Salvation and if it in any way relates to the book of Revelation?
  25. I wanted to ask you guys, your opinion on this. Why is the name of God, or the word 'God' shushed in the public eye and not embraced as a whole?
