Mark 4:13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

Matthew 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. [I do think the Lord wants us to understand, but He wants us to seek out meanings in the Scriptures. If we don't get it right, He will keep helping us, directing us.]
