He had received them from the saints who had prevailed and been victorious. The Victors ‘crown This is the victor’s crown that they are casting at his feet. The victors crown is given only to those who will overcome. They have fought a good fight, they have finished their course. Therefore there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8) One thing with the victors crown. The devil wants to steal it from you. Revelation 3:11 hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown. The devil will do everything to get you into compromise, leave your first love or be without garments. He wants to steal your crown. We have been made king and priest to our God. But can you imagine king without a crown? Why the devil wants to steal your crown? Jesus is crowned with many crowns. He had received those crowns from those who have fought the good fight of faith and finished their course and have kept the faith. They have won the victors crown and have cast their crown upon him. The devil does not want Jesus to be crown with many crowns. He does not want Jesus to come back crowned with many crowns. So he will fight you to the end to steal your crown from you. Well known hymns Crown him with many crowns, the lamb upon his throne. Awake my soul and sing, of him who died for thee and hail him as thy matchless king through all eternity. Beloved ones, the purpose of this post is to exhort you. May be you have been weary in well doing, you have cast away your bold confidence which has great recompense of reward. But you can always pick it up again and get back into the race and contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. Be thou faithful even to the death and I will give you a crown of life.
