  1. Please pray for Miah. She needs delivered from a bad situation. God knows all the details. We are truly grateful to all who are praying. Thank you, your friend in Christ
  2. I've wanted to post this for a while, but I struggled writing it since I didn't know how to effectively explain my situation. It's been hard for me to talk to anyone about this because I keep thinking no one would believe me or people would think I'm insane. Though I've been drowning in confusion, apathy, doubt, and hopelessness for the past few months, I've finally mustered up the courage to write this. I was saved in 2005, fell away for a while, then rededicated my life to Christ at the end of December 2017. I was very excited about God and the Bible for the first three months of 2018, but then began dealing with spiritual oppression in April 2018. I spent my time trying to figure out how to get rid of the oppression, then I began hearing that “still small voice.” Since May 2018, I thought I was in communion with God, until in January 2019, I discovered there is a demon inside of me. It deceived me into thinking it was God, and it even had the audacity to also call itself “Holy Spirit,” “The Father,” and “Jesus.” It spoke to me in my mind, flooding me with images, ideas, and thoughts. It answered prayers, such as if I asked where something was in my apartment, I suddenly received an image in my mind of the exact location. It was able to control my body parts: arms, legs, hands, feet, head, mouth, eyes, lungs, stomach, heart. At times, it spoke out of me: received a “message from heaven” from my deceased Dad, taught me and my Mom tons of error teaching, and falsely prophesied the 2nd coming of Christ. Once my Mom discovered it was a demon, it spoke out and told her that I would never find Jesus, and I began convulsing when she took authority over it. That same night, it caused me to vomit two disgusting substances, changed the pitch of my voice to an unnaturally high and disgusting tone, and at a different time, I heard growling come from my throat. While under its influence, it made me get rid of my video games, movies, and certain bits of clothing. It taught me scripture so it could use it against me. It convinced me to pray tons of false things, such as for Jesus to forget me. It deceived me into doing a 3-week water fast that put me in the hospital, nearly killing me. It convinced me I committed the unforgivable sin, that I was the Anti-Christ, constantly deceived me into thinking I would die in my sleep, and constantly condemned me to hell. It caused me to have constant nightmares of me being condemned to hell, one where I was involved in witchcraft, one where I supposedly received the mark of the beast and was separated from God forever, and one of Jesus Christ forever abandoning me. I feel completely violated because not only did it rupture the relationship I thought I had with the real LORD, this thing helped me come up with book ideas, movie ideas, a future ministry, improved my drawing skills, and even helped me come up with names for my future kids, all under the guise of “God.” I've essentially given up writing and anything creative because I'm not confident whether the ideas truly come from me. As of now, I have a constant anxiety towards my hands moving on their own; sometimes as I'm falling asleep, either a few fingers start to move or one of my hands will violently shake for a few seconds. I can’t even pray without hearing a mental response from it. I’ve noticed strange physical abnormalities, such as my pupils dilating irregularly no matter how much light is present and an occasional putrid smell coming from my nose and mouth. I can’t effectively concentrate, constantly dealing with tons of confusing thoughts. I feel irritated / an aversion towards the Word, along with tons of accusatory thoughts about my salvation and how God is mad at me (which isn’t true). If I do manage to read the Bible, I get flooded with tons of doubtful thoughts about how I don't understand anything I read and how God's forgotten about me (which isn't true). This spirit has put me through so much hell, and I have no idea how I even accepted it to begin with. I'm ashamed that I was able to be so terribly deceived. I can't even effectively follow Philippians 4:6 about praying if you are anxious because I'm anxious about praying because something else answers. I want to overcome the confusion, apathy, doubt, and hopelessness that all torment me on a daily basis. Where should I even begin with recovery? How do I recover from all the deception I've endured? How do I get past the constant irritation towards anything God related? Also, thank you for taking the time to read this. Even if you can't figure out a reply to this post, could you P L E A S E pray for me? I desperately want to be delivered of this.
  3. This one is lengthy, almost 45 minutes, but I think it is worth your time. I found it fascinating and delightful, and should be encouraging and helpful to Christians. I was tempted to put it in the Bible Topics area, there is a not of Bible in it. However it is more of a testimony of the remarkable events of Corrie's life of how she came to be imprisoned in Nazi Germany for hiding Jews from persecution, and her experiences in concentration camps. Did you know fleas and lice, can be a blessing from God, and an ant can give you a sermon? There are lessons here, for any who might find themselves in persecution, (real persecution, not merely being ridiculed for your faith at the work place) to see how faith can see us through, should such events ever befall us.
  4. "Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Our God is good all time. I remember when I moved in with my friend to a house he rented. I discovered that the house was an occultic house. Witchcraft activities was rampant in that house because I was always fighting with them in my dream. In the cause of fighting, I will see the landlord protecting them from me. One day in a dream I saw the landlord wife sitting on my head. I woke from that dream with an ear pain which started from one ear and moved to the other one. I prayed a prayer that day TELLING THE EAR THAT WHEN I CAME INTO THIS HOUSE I DID NOT COME WITH EAR PAIN SO THE PAIN MUST GO BACK TO WHERE IT CAME FROM. And God been God, the ear pain stopped. Since my friend was not a Christian, he did not know what was happening. But I was having spiritual attack from all angle. One night, I decided to praise the Lord without asking for anything. That night was glorious because after dancing and praising the Lord, the Lord visited me in a dream and asked me what do I want, I TOLD THE LORD THAT HE SHOULD HELP ME TO FULFILL MY DESTINY. But the landlord was not happy, he called my friend and told him to send me away because my friend did not tell him that he was coming with a pastor to rent the house. Since my friend did not send me away, the landlord gave him a quick notice to pack out of the house. But meanwhile the landlord have already inflicted me with partial paralysis on my waist. I have to struggle to stand up from the bed or chair. Initially I thought it was the food that I was eating that caused it. Though my friend and his family did not know anything about the attack, I prayed over the sickness and the partial paralysis disappeared without a trace. Though we were kicked out of the house. I give God all the glory because he has always been good to me and my family.
  5. Look We For Another? This is the big question that is raised for the deliverance and salvation of all who will accept the answer. Mat 11:2-3 (2) Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, (3) And said unto him, Are you he that should come, or do we look for another? Luk 7:16-20 (16) And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God has visited his people. (17) And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about. (18) And the disciples of John showed him of all these things. (19) And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Are you he that should come? or look we for another? (20) When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist has sent us unto thee, saying, Are you he that should come? or look we for another? In the days of Jesus and John the Baptist there was amongst the Jews, an inherently strong desire and expectation of a deliverer who would rise to power from among them and they would be restored to their former glory and independence. Over sixteen decades earlier Judah Maccabee raised Jewish hopes when he led them in the aptly named Maccabean Revolt* against the Seleucid Empire (167–160 BC). Speculation that he could be their promised deliverer and Messiah naturally arose, especially when he secured the restoration of Jewish worship at the temple in Jerusalem in 164 BCE, removing all of the statues depicting Greek gods and goddesses, and purifying it, something which continues to be remembered and celebrated in the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah ("Dedication"). In 160 BC Judah Macabee was killed in the battle of Elasa when his army was pitted against a superior Seleucid force of 20,000 soldiers, but the Jewish Rebellion continued under the leadership of his two brothers Jonathan and Simon. Jonathan was imprisoned when Hellenistic Seleucid General Tryphon tricked him, and finally had him killed. Antiochus VI (one of the successors to Antiochus Epiphanes) was murdered and Tryphon became king. This intensified the Jewish efforts and Simon, Jonathan's brother, came forthwith to Jerusalem and by 142 had seized the Acra (a fortress built by Antiochus Epiphanes in 164 BC) and had made Jerusalem a free city and the Jews an independent people. This began the rule of the Hasmonean Dynasty and a period of Jewish independence made more secure by the steady collapse of the Seleucid Empire under attacks from the rising powers of the Roman Republic and the Parthian Empire. *QUOTE: The desperate plight of the Jews under Antiochus IV (aka Antiochus Epihanes) elicited a literary call for stubborn resistance to Greek culture and zealous loyalty to the traditional faith, in the conviction that God was about to act to bring in the long-awaited kingdom and to redeem his people. These Jewish beliefs were given new expression through influences coming from Iranian and Zoroastrian theology, including cosmic dualism and a concept of history that postulated a beginning, a series of time periods and a climactic ending of time. The catalyst was the persecution under Antiochus, which produced a failure of nerve, a despair of man's ability to effect the kingdom of God through his own efforts and a conviction that the situation could only get worse until God himself broke in to terminate the present evil age and inaugurate the ideal. Source: To Jewish Independence Roman occupation of Jewish lands began in 63 BC and by the time John the Baptist and Jesus were born the Jews were once again struggling under foreign oppression and seeking a leader who would solve their political problems, remove foreign control, restore independent rule and self-government, and if necessary provoke a violent uprising and in a show of military might achieve a glorious victory with the defeat and expulsion of all their enemies. This worldly view did not align with God's plan for His Creation and His people, and this was difficult for many to comprehend, as per these passages: Luk 24:13-21 (13) And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. (14) And they talked together of all these things which had happened. (15) And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. (16) But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. (17) And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that you have one to another, as you walk, and are sad? (18) And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Are you only a stranger in Jerusalem, and have not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? (19) And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: (20) And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him. (21) But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done. Act 1:6-9 (6) When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? (7) And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power. (8) But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (9) And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. As Jesus said in His response to J the B's question: Blessed are those who are not offended in Me. (Luke 7:23)
  6. How hard is it to be a follower of Christ? It’s not simple but life is hard in general. Jesus says; Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. There is always a solution for every problem.
  7. Scriptures encouraging to those who believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture: updated 17 Feb 2018 112pm Many Scriptures exhort us to watch for Jesus to return, to trust the Lord for deliverance. Those who disagree could list Scriptures. I pray that these Scriptures will be a comfort and help to all. +++ This Scripture from Mark 13 1) speaks of that day of His coming, 2) exhorts us to watch for Him -- giving the reason "for ye know not when," 3) tells us that He is like a man on a journey who told his servants to watch, 4) tells us again to watch: Mark 13:32-35 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning.... Mark 13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. I Thess. 1:10 And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. Col. 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Luke 12:40 - Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. Hebrews 11:5 In such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ. II Thess. 2:13 But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you, a firstfruit, for deliverance by the santification of the Spirit and belief of the truth. Psalm 27:10 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in his pavilion, In the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me. He shall set me upon a rock. [This specifically points to "the time of trouble," also called "the time of Jacob's trouble," "the tribulation," and indicates that believers will be where He dwells during that time.] Psalm 31:24 Be of good cheer and He shall strengthen your heart. Psalm 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalm 91:13-14 Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him. I will set him on high, because he hath known My Name. Matthew 24:27 - For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:42 - Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Luke 21:34-36 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: II Thessalonians 2:1-5 Geneva Bible (1599) 1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our assembling unto him, 2 That ye be not suddenly moved from your mind, nor troubled neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as it were from us, as though the day of Christ were at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a departing first, and that that man of sin be disclosed, even the son of perdition. 4 Which is an adversary, and exalteth himself against all that is called God, or that is worshipped: so that he doth sit as God in the Temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things? [The word translated "departing" was translated that way in several Bibles prior to the King James Version.] Isaiah 26:19-21 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. Psalm 50:3-5 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. 4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. Psalm 50:15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble, and I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me. Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. I Cor. 3:11-15 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. I Cor. 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. I Thess. 4:16-18 For the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. I Thess. 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. I Thess. 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. II Tim. 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Heb. 10:19 We have confidence to come into the holy place through the blood of Jesus. I Pet. 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. II Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints. Rev. 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. [The time of temptation, I believe is the time of tribulation, trial of all the world.] Rev. 4:1 Come up hither. Rev. 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. Hebrews 11:5 In such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Revelation 19:11 to 14 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. ++++++++
  8. Hi everyone! Recently my husband and I started attending a spirit filled church. The first night we were there I spoke in tongues for the first time in my life. I'd always been convinced it was demonic and anyone doing it was of the devil. Then it happened to me. We've been going for a few weeks now. God has started revealing skeletons in my closet that need to be dealt with. I'm going tonight for a deliverance session. It was revealed to me that I'm dealing with a Jezebel spirit. I can clearly remember two times in my life, once at 3 and once at about 11, where I "floated". The second time was witnessed by my younger brother. My family even joked about it for years saying I could teach them to float in case of a flood or Earthquake! In highschool I learned about demonic levitation. When I mentioned it to my dad at dinner he dropped his fork, left the dinner table, and never joked about me "floating" again. In 2012 I had deliverance from a mocking spirit. I saw Hell and felt fear like nothing I've never felt before or since. Recently, attending the new church, I've grown increasingly angry and hostile on church days. Often fighting with my husband right before we walk in. Last Thursday they laid hands on people. As people were falling down in the power of the Holy Spirit I could hear laughter in my head even though I thought it was cool. When they put their hands on me I felt a rush of electricity and the voice in my head got louder saying "you don't believe this do you?" Then I fell to the ground and CLEARLY heard that voice say "that's all he's got it's real but it's not enough" and the laughter in my head for REALLY loud. I reached out to the pastor and explained what happened that night and he said I should come in for deliverance. Last night I googled mocking spirit and learned that a Jezebel spirit runs in tandem with a lesser mocking spirit. That the Jezebel spirit is off witchcraft. I've dabbled with Wicca over the years! Has anyone else dealt with this? I have always been a gifted writer. More recently I have discovered a gift for art. I've drawn things that have happened. I've written things that have happened. Is it possible or even likely that something attached to me very young because of the calling and gifts? I've had a series of abusive relationships. Thankfully am married to a wonderful man now!!! The Jezebel spirit sounds just like some of the men before my husband. I've prayed in Jesus name to be rid of whatever the darkness is. Nothing seems to have worked. Hopefully tonight is the end.
  9. My daughter Apryl, is homeless in San Fransisco! I had warned her that this could happen, but she is so independent and rebellious that she would not listen to reason! Her rebellious life style has ruined her life, health and her family (children); drugs! Well I have had to release her into God's hands and trust His wisdom regarding her. Trust me that is not in anyway an easy thing, but it is a must! This Mama's heart is heavy with grief for my child! Please lift her up unto the Lord with me, and lift me up as well, I too need prayer.
  10. Hi! I am deeply in love with Jesus Christ! He is wonderful! He is good! He is true! When Jesus saved me He took me to experience the literal Hell and months later He took me up into Heaven. I am humbled to have had such experiences, for I recognize; blessed are those who haven't seen and believe. There's a heavy burden that comes along with all this. A burden for souls. A burden for completing the will of God in my life; in the Holy Spirit this burden becomes easy and light, and it is a daily focus on Jesus that gets me through this walk in peace, love, and joy (and all things good), otherwise I would be crushed under the weight of what I know, I don't doubt it. I take surrender and obedience to the Lord very seriously for those who say, "Lord, Lord..." and will be turned away from Jesus will be the ones who did not complete the specific will of the Father in Heaven for their lives and in the next verse Jesus makes it clear He never knew them. I would not wish Hell on my worst enemy; it is far worse than people imagine. Unless one has experienced it, there is really no way to understand it's horrors. My deepest desire is to help others come into deep and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. It's a process. The persecution I have suffered is immense and I am still learning how to handle all of it with love. One wrong sentence can undermine months of discerning the Lord's voice with confidence while communicating with one person and it grieves me so very deeply when I transgress even in the littlest degree. It's sad to say that most who claim Christ do not care to seek the Lord on what I am telling them about my testimony, other experiences, or the revelation I have received from God, reacting in the flesh in the best case and the demonic in the worst; not all, but many, and it breaks my heart. I know the truth and the truth has set me free. I am not in bondage to sin, I am not perfect, but I do I live a lifestyle as a servant of righteousness. My Father chastises me, teaches me, and quickens me. I only share this to glorify Him and His goodness! He is faithful! He is mighty to protect us in the heart of darkness, emotionally, physically, and spiritually and I have first hand experience of this. I have also seen many miracles and have had countless supernatural experiences in the realm of healing and otherwise. I have seen crushed bones in a foot (by a car) mended in seconds of prayer, I have seen metal dissolved and bone created on multiple occasions, some of these miracles have been doctor verified, but changes in the physical; like seeing a scar shrink from many inches to a dime, or someone losing weight now that they can use their limb that needed amputation before prayer is more than enough proof, all by my own prayer and in the name of Jesus. I do not boast in me. I was supernaturally healed when I came to Jesus Christ and delivered as well, and it gave me faith for the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that Jesus wasn't messing around when He said that we can do all the things He did and greater in His name. I thoroughly enjoy raising up others to walk in power, but it has to be in relationship and surrender to Jesus Christ because that's all that really matters for our gifts and callings are irrevocable and can be used in or out of the will of God. But most importantly, God is too good not to know intimately, although it surely does bring glory to Him to walk in power. I much prefer to show people Jesus than tell people about Him and the Lord has taught me how to do this even when I am not praying for healing specifically. I will share this in more detail during my time here. I have seen the Lord cast out legions of demons through my prayers and infirmities go from these deliverances. I understand the difference between authority and power, in my time here I will share more on this as well. I have also seen a meth addict come to Jesus and be set free with no withdrawls and cravings; all by following the voice of God for every word and action. Why do I share this? Because I have been walking with Jesus for less than two years and I have seen countless people healed, delivered, made completely whole, and come to Christ by the work that I have allowed the Lord to do through me. When one prays without ceasing they will be able to be fully discipled by Jesus in just a few short years like the disciples were (even quicker in this day of technology). Jesus and I are in communication my entire waking day (16-20 hours a day). That's a lot different than most who spend their first or last 15 minutes a day with Jesus. I can do in two years what a person could do in 104-120 years in the example I just gave. Again, I hold obedience to the Lord at the utmost importance; it is love, for only God is good! And if no one else is doing the work, He will give it to His servants no matter how young. As 1 Timothy 4:12 says: Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. I hope this inspires others into deeper obedience in the Lord and that the Lord wants to flow through us all with the same Holy Spirit that rose Christ from the dead to change the lives of those around us, in Jesus' name! God loves you all dearly! I appreciate all questions, curiosity, or desire to understand more about anything that has been said here. I am here for you. I will take you to Jesus! He is all that matters; everything good! He's too good not to know, so please, let me know how I can help you! I look forward to learning here as well! God bless you all, richly, in Jesus' mighty name!
  11. Mark 4:14,20 - "The sower sows the Word. And those sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the Word and receive and accept and welcome it and bear fruit - some thirty times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much, and some even a hundred times as much." JESUS DIDN'T SPEND TIME TRYING TO GET MEN OUT OF POVERTY. HE GOT THE POVERTY OUT OF THEM AND THEY DID THE REST. IF CHRIST WERE HERE TODAY, HE WOULDN'T MOVE PEOPLE OUT OF THE SLUMS....HE'D SIMPLY GET THE SLUMS OUT OF THEM. THEIR NEW INNER IMAGE WOULD EVENTUALLY CHANGE THEIR SURROUNDINGS TO MATCH THE NEW PROSPEROUS IMAGE ON THE INSIDE. Affirmations: GOD'S WAY OF CHANGING MY WORLD IS BY FIRST CHANGING MY SELF-IMAGE THROUGH HIS WORD AND THE WORK OF HIS SPIRIT ON THE INSIDE OF ME. TODAY I CONFESS GOD'S PROMISES - I AM SOWING THE SEED OF HIS WORD INTO THE SOIL OF MY HEART WHERE IT WILL BEGIN TO DEVELOP AND BRING TO PASS WHAT I HAVE SPOKEN. Matthew 5:4 - "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." JESUS WAS TALKING ABOUT THE MOURNING OF THE INTERCESSOR. HE WAS TEACHING ABOUT THE COMFORT THAT COMES TO THE INTERCESSOR WHEN HE IS ASSURED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT HE HAS PRAYED THROUGH. TO PRAY THROUGH MEANS TO BREAK THROUGH THE BARRIERS THAT HAVE STOPPED THE WORK OF GOD IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS. IT MEANS USING YOUR SPIRITUAL ARMOR TO PUSH BACK THE FORCES OF DARKNESS THAT SURROUNDS THEM. Affirmations: AS A PRAYER WARRIOR FOR GOD I REACH OUT FOR HIS MERCY AND COMPASSION FOR THE SINNER, FOR THE SICK, AND FOR THE DOWNCAST. I DON'T LET UP UNTIL I HAVE THE ASSURANCE INSIDE, IN MY SPIRIT, THAT EVERY BARRIER IS BROKEN AND EVERY AREA OF BONDAGE HAS BEEN ABOLISHED. As soon as Paul saw the light from heaven above the brightness of the sun, he said, "Lord what wilt thou have me to do?" - Acts 19:6 God wants to charge our faith today. He wants us to see it is not obtained by struggling and working and pining. "...the Father himself loveth you..." (John 16:27) "..Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17). "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"(Matthew 11:18). May we lay hold of this living faith today -- the Blood has never lost its power -- as we get nearer and nearer to Jesus wonderful things will take place. The baptism of Jesus must bring us to have a single eye to the glory of God; everything else is wasted time and wasted energy. The Holy Spirit wants us for the purpose of manifesting Jesus through us. The Holy Spirit moving upon us will make us to be like Him, and we will truly say, "Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?" 12. God is setting me free from the bondage of fear of people's opinion of me; yet recently it has come back with a vengeance. I am growing in grace. I know I am not that old person I used to be and God is showing me more of who I am in Him. Recently I was able to pray for different people at work; however, all of a sudden that stopped and now I find myself feeling intimated around people even to the point of feeling like they are talking about me. It doesn't help that my hearing has diminished a lot, so it is difficult to understand what people are saying. I am really feeling frustrated and sad about that. My thought is that satan is throwing his tried and true darts at me because he knows that I am getting free and his days (hopefully) are numbered using that stronghold. I would greatly appreciate your prayers for this situation.
  13. There's a particular member of my extended family who has for countless years been sowing strife and discord among all the family members and who has been keeping his own grown children on lockdown and isolation from the rest of society. His family is like a cult the way he runs it from his 'me against the world' mindset. No one else in the family knows what this particular member of the family is up to; I happened to find out by talking to some of his kids and finding out what their dad is really like behind closed doors. He has caused a tremendous amount of damage in especially his own family, and the kids are desperate for and need deliverance and healing from all that he has put them through. God has laid this particular family heavy on my heart, because the grown kids have nowhere to turn and don't have a strong faith in God and therefore cannot see any escape from their misery. They are suffering in silence, and no one really knows. Everyone thinks their dad is a saint. All the kids' lives are in complete ruins and shambles, and no one knows that their dad is behind it all. Please pray for God to expose their dad and for His favor to shine on this man's kids, for God to bring a mighty turnaround and restoration in their lives. Thanks.
  14. In the book "War on the Saints" by Jessie Penn-Lewis and Evan Roberts (1911), I found this passage: THE MEANING OF "POSSESSION" DEFINED Such cases as these are known to-day, amongst even true believers in Europe, as well as in heathen China, but "possession" is much more wide-spread than is supposed, if the word "possession" is taken to mean just what it is, i.e., a hold of evil spirits on a man in any shade of degree; for an evil spirit "possesses" whatever spot he holds, even though it be in an infinitesimal degree, and from that one spot, as a spider finds his base ere he weaves his web, the intruder works to obtain further hold of the whole being. Christians are as open to possession by evil spirits as other men, and become possessed because they have, in most cases, unwittingly fulfilled the conditions upon which evil spirits work, and, apart from the cause of willful sin, given ground to deceiving spirits, through (1) accepting their counterfeits of the Divine workings, and (2) cultivating passivity, and non-use of the faculties; and this through misconception of the spiritual laws which govern Christian life. It is this matter of ground given which is the crucial point of all. All believers acknowledge known sin to be ground given to the enemy, and even unknown sin in the life, but they do not realize that every thought suggested to the mind by wicked spirits, and accepted, is ground given to them; and every faculty unused invites their attempted use of it. The primary cause of deception and possession in surrendered believers may be condensed into one word, passivity; that is, a cessation of the active exercise of the will in control over spirit, soul and body, or either, as may be the case. It is, practically, a counterfeit of "surrender to God." The believer who "surrenders" his "members"--or faculties--to God, and ceases to use them himself, thereby falls into "passivity" which enables evil spirits to deceive, and possess any part of his being which has become passive. The deception over passive surrender may be exampled thus: a believer surrenders his "arm" to God. He permits it to hang passive, waiting for "God to use it." He is asked, "why do you not use your arm?" and he replies "I have surrendered it to God. I must not use it now; God must use it." But will God lift the arm for the man? Nay, the man himself must lift it, note 1 and use it, seeking to understand intelligently God's mind in doing so. End of quote. As I am seeking to understand why I do what I do not will to do--in fact, I do things against my free-will, just as Paul did crying out in his guilt concerning this earthly body--I began reading this book. This section, chapter 4, rings true. I finally have an answer besides, “Call on the name of Christ,” or “The battle is in your mind,” or “Put on the armor of God,” or “You must not be saved if you are experiencing demonic control in your life.” I have also been told, repeatedly, that people give Satan way too much attention as he is conquered. He has no power over a Christian.” However, after experiencing spiritual warfare for years myself, these words became empty platitudes. I am not saying that the verses referenced are empty; I am saying that those of us who have unwittingly fallen into surrendering a small section of their members to the control of darkness need something more. The book continues with this quote: “THE WORD "PASSIVITY" DESCRIBES OPPOSITE CONDITION TO ACTIVITY The word "passivity" simply describes the opposite condition to activity; and in the experience of the believer it means, briefly, (1) loss of self-control--in the sense of the person himself controlling each, or all of the departments of his personal being; and (2) loss of freewill--in the sense of the person himself exercising his will as the guiding principle of personal control, in harmony with the will of God. All the danger of "passivity" in the surrendered believer, lies in the advantage taken of the passive condition by the powers of darkness. Apart from these evil forces, and their workings through the passive person, "passivity" is merely inactivity, or idleness. In normal inactivity, that is, when the evil spirits have not taken hold, the inactive person is always holding himself ready for activity; whereas in "passivity" which has given place to the powers of darkness, the passive person is unable to act by his own volition. The chief condition, therefore, for the working of evil spirits in a human being, apart from sin, is passivity, in exact opposition to the condition which God requires from His children for His working in them. Granted the surrender of the will to God, with active choice to do His will as it may be revealed to him, God requires co-operation with His Spirit, and the full use of every faculty of the whole man. In brief, the powers of darkness aim at obtaining a passive slave, or captive to their will; whilst God desires a regenerated man, intelligently and actively willing, and choosing, and doing His will in liberation of spirit, soul and body from slavery. The powers of darkness would make a man a machine, a tool, an automaton; the God of holiness and love desires to make him a free, intelligent sovereign in his own sphere--a thinking, rational, renewed creation created after His own image (Eph. 4: 24). Therefore God never says to any faculty of man, "Be thou idle." God does not need, nor demand non-activity in the believer, for His working in, and through him; but evil spirits demand the utmost non-activity and passivity.” End quote. I am posting this here for those who may want to debate these ideas, those who find themselves in this predicament also, and those who may find themselves ministering to those trapped by repeated sin. I welcome your responses and opinions.
