I avoided watching Harry Potter films and also the books because I heard there is a lot of magic being conducted in the movie and in the book. Furthermore, LOL, I'm an adult male, and Harry Potter films is nerdy stuff. However, when Marvel Comic book movies like the Dr. Strange movie and all the Avenger movie series came out, I had mixed feelings because I really like Marvel and DC movies and cartoons. However, Marvel characters like Dr. Strange and DC characters like Fate conduct magic in the movies and cartoons. Is acceptable for a Christian to watch the aforementioned the entertainment even though all this magic stuff happens in them? If no/yes, please elaborate.

My friend’s son Theo has been worshiping Satan for several years though my friend begged her son repeatedly to stop. He became abusive verbally to her. Her other children stopped speaking to her because she wouldn’t give him up. 3 weeks ago, Theo heard the demons tell him to give his soul to Satan - he drove his vehicle over a cliff. Now he has a metal rod from his hip to his ankle and will have his right arm amputated this week. my friend is in crisis mode - almost broken but holding herself together. She reaches out to me for prayer and advice. I may need some advice as well, so I’m going to describe what I have done for her so far. Anyone that might have some wisdom to add, please do so. I sent her a prayer meant to deliver Theo from demonic oppression and cleanse him of his choices and sins that have given Satan rights to him. Hello, I need help. feel I'm under demonic attack. I have the most horrific nightmares, I read scripture daily, listen to Christian Radio, I attend Church regularly and evangelise when appropriate. I have led someone to Christ, I am a dedicated christian living an upstanding life in Christ. For a very long time I've had intermittent demonic attack and oppression. In 1989 (Before I was a Christian) I became involved with occult things after becoming friends with a woman that had interests in that area. She introduced me to paranormal things. she got me involved with spiritism, she claimed she could summon spirits and will people to do things, she even told me she had an intrinsic connection to me. I never had a physical relationship with her and the friendship we had was not that well formed, she was my hairdresser and not that much more. I eventually stopped being friends with her. I resumed a normal life although it was very difficult to get rid of this person as she said she had made a "soul tie" or something to me. I encountered many strange things after knowing this woman, she proved to me she could do things. Coming from a scientifically grounded upbringing this very difficult to believe and trying to rationalise the irrational was in itself an issue. I thought I was going insane until she told me it was her "pushing thoughts", she told me word for word what I had been "hearing or thinking" like songs and sentences, thoughts that felt forced and intrusive. I came to Christ twelve years ago. I have given my testimony to two Church congregations detailing my experiences with this woman and occult things and how Christ saved me. Every so often I have times when I suffer these intrusive thoughts, disturbing visions and sometimes voices which are always to do with this woman. I have horrific nightmarrs and feelings of dread and foreboding. My Church don't run or include any deliverance service, it's simply a case of ignore the demonic attacks and throw yourself in to the bible, this is the best thing to do but it doesn't always work. depressing feelings and horrific images which are very vivid are not easy to forget and I can't control my dreams like I can bring my thoughts to the obedience of Christ. I know what these attacks are and where they're from, I can't however stop it from happening. I have tried to get deliverance via Ellel Ministries, this had a temporary effect. I pray, I have had prayer from friends and I've even been on a healing retreat. I know this is a battle and I fight it every day, somedays however are much, much harder than others. I really need full deliverance with this, it's getting increasingly difficult to deal with.

Having experienced the torments of Hell, I can verify the legitimacy of this testimony, but more importantly, discernment tells me it's real and genuine. I encourage those who watch this not to go down a rabbit hole of Hell testimonies all at once, it can be overwhelming and very depressing, please be led by the Spirit by discerning the voice of God on all pursuits, but Jesus has taken people to experience these experiences for a reason. May you learn from these testimonies and be convicted (if necessary) and not condemned by responding to that conviction accordingly, (remember God chastises those He loves!) and may the Lord bless you mightily in Jesus' mighty name! Revelation 20:15: And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Luke 12:5: But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him! Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Revelation 21:8: But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Authority Vs. Power - Walking in Jesus Christ 2 Timothy 1:7: For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. Acts 1:8: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Philippians 4:13: I can do all this through Him who gives me strength. Luke 10:19: I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 1 Corinthians 6:14: By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 2 Corinthians 12:9: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. Ephesians 3:20: Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, Luke 4:32: They were amazed at his teaching, because his words had authority. Revelation 20:4-6: I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended) Ephesians 1:21: far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. John 10:18: No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” 1 Corinthians 15:24: Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. Luke 20:2: “Tell us by what authority you are doing these things,” they said. “Who gave you this authority?” Luke 12:5: But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him. Matthew 9:6: But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Rise, pick up your bed and go home.” Matthew 28:18: Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Acts 10:38: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with Him. 2 Peter 1:3: His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Romans 15:13: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Psalm 68:35: You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!
