Gen 4:7 KJV 'If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.' * * * * * * * Is there someone who can say something about: a) How is it possible that "sin lieth at the door"? b) How is it possible that sin has "desire" unto us? c) If we don't rule over him, will he rule over us? God bless. Frits

Daily Reading 17 If you prefer, you can look up the following verses in your own Bible, of by whatever means and in whatever version you choose. Luke 13:18-35 Genesis 24 Psalm 17 Audio 5:03 Audio 9:42 Audio 1:58 The above addresses are linked to Bible Gateway. That is an easy way to read (or listen to) the Bible verses, and choose your version. Personally, I prefer written, that way I can go at my own pace, on think about it, before moving on. Nothing wrong with doing either or both. The Bible says faith comes by hearing. See the picture below to get an idea of what to expect if you follow the above links. Thank you Lord for making the your word so accessible for us in these times. Amen

2 Corinthians 3:18 - "But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." Our goal is not to become perfect people, but to abide in the one who is perfect. Our righteousness will never be in us, but will always be in Him. It is not what we do, but what He has already done, that changes us. Affirmation: NO MENTAL STRUGGLES, NO SADNESS, NO TEMPTATION, BONDS, OR TEMPORARY AFFLICTIONS ARE GOING TO MOVE ME OFF MY COURSE -- GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN ME THE VICTORY THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS. 2 Timothy 1:6 - "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands." The Greek word for gift is "charisma" which describes those spiritual abilities with which God equips believers. Nothing in the realm of the Spirit is accomplished without this "charisma", or supernatural ability of God. Affirmation: I AM GOING TO COMPLETE MY CALLING IN CHRIST -- IM GOING TO REACH MY DESTINY. We must pass through a door to enter the new season. When we go through a door, we enter another realm. Many times we don't want to go through the open doors because they are scary. Even if we can see past them, we don't know what to expect when we go through them. We say things like, "I've never gone that way before. Suppose I am inadequate? What if I fail?" Paul was aware of the scary things that lay ahead through his new door, as he said in 1 Corinthians 16:9, "For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries." Going through an open door symbolizes trusting Him. Fear of the future and inability to control things can prevent you from doing that. Even though the door is not closed, you really don't know what is on the other side. So going through is an act of faith. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Exodus 8:9,10 - "And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I entreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only? And he (Pharaoh) said, tomorrow. And he (Moses) said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the Lord our God." Observation: RATHER THAN REQUESTING DELIVERANCE FROM THE PLAGUE TODAY, PHAROAH DECIDED HE'D SPEND ONE MORE NIGHT AMONG THE FROGS. HOW LONG AM I WILLING TO SIT AROUND AND LET THE FROGS IN MY LIFE HARASS ME? I MAKE A QUALITY DECISION "TODAY" TO GO WITH THE WORD OF GOD AND GET THEM OUT. Psalm 31:1,2 - "In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defense to save me. " Acts 18:25 - "He (Apollos) had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and burning with spiritual zeal, he spoke and taught diligently and accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he was acquainted only with the baptism of John." OBSERVATION: In Acts, the new Christian faith is described as a "way" to follow. Jesus referred to Himself as "The Way" and as The Door". These expressions indicate that I can only recognize spiritual things when I am moving along a path. As long as I have only dogma and proper teaching, I am like the person who owns all the maps in the world, yet never has set foot outside his house to see what the world outside really is like. The scribes who knew perfectly well that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem but did not consider it necessary to go there and receive Him. The only possibility I have of meeting the one who lay in the manger is to go with reverence and commitment -- as the wise men from the east -- I have to travel a long way. James 1:6,7 - "Let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. " To come boldly and confidently to God for healing is the opposite of saying, "If it be Thy will." If we question God's will for us when we ask Him for something, we are double minded, cannot ask in faith, and He cannot heal us. My Confession: I BOLDLY CONFESS THAT I AM HEALED BY THE STRIPES OF JESUS CHRIST. THE AGONY HE ENDURED WAS FOR ME AND MY HEALTH. I DON'T HAVE TO BE SICK; I DON'T HAVE TO BE WEAK; AND I DON'T HAVE TO LIVE AT THE MERCY OF AFFLICTION ANYMORE. THE STRIPES ON JESUS' BODY WERE FOR ME, SO TODAY I RELEASE MY FAITH AND COMMIT THAT I WILL NOT BE SATISFIED WITH ANYTHING LESS THAN GOD'S BEST -- DIVINE HEALING AND HEALTH EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE!
