  1. In 1500 B.C., which empire did God use to refine Israel? Egypt—the most powerful kingdom on Earth. In 722 B.C., which empire took the 10 Northern Tribes of Israel captive? Assyria—the most powerful kingdom on Earth. In 586 B.C., which empire took the Southern Kingdom of Judah into captivity? Babylon—the most powerful kingdom on Earth. In 539 B.C., which empire began its rule over the Jewish exiles? Media-Persia—the most powerful kingdom on Earth. In 187 B.C., which empire ruled during the Macobean Revolt? Greece—the most powerful kingdom on Earth. In 70 A.D., which empire destroyed Jerusalem? Rome—the most powerful kingdom on Earth. Which nation nearly conquered the entire world and killed six million Jews during WW2? Germany—arguably the most powerful nation on Earth at that time. (Certainly in Europe.) Which nations has God consistently used to discipline and purify Israel since its inception? The most powerful nations on Earth. Which nation will give rise to the Antichrist, who will be God's instrument of wrath and discipline against Israel in the coming years? The most powerful nation on Earth. Which nation is the most powerful on Earth?
  2. Nearly five years ago, I posted that the Antichrist was a certain "somebody" who was then in office. Well, that person appears to be rising from a political mortal wound of sorts to a position of power never before granted in his country. I testified back then about the book I had written BEFORE he was elected to office in 2016, detailing from the Bible that he was (is) the Antichrist (as in "THE," not "an"). I was mocked, ridiculed, mischaracterized, and "schooled" by countless as to why I was so craazzzzyyy. AND HERE WE ARE. So, what say you now?
  3. Romans 11:1-5 I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”? But what does the divine response say to him? I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal. Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. Is the Lord doing something different "at this present time" that this understanding that Paul is presenting does not apply to His Church? Why does the Lord state, "many are called, but few are chosen"? To be clear the elect are not merely "the called", but they are chosen unto the election. Romans 1:6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble. Jesus chose apostles from among His followers. These apostles were discipled to shepherd the flock, and it is these chosen that the Lord gave detailed instructions the evening of the last supper. John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. Since the latest hot topic has been conditional vs. unconditional salvation, and a process of sanctification, is this position applied to the called, or the election? Mark 13:20 And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days. The Election must be faithful and wise stewards 1 Corinthians 4: 1 Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. Stewardship over every resource the Lord so provides is important for being"found faithful". Luke 16: 10 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. 11 Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own? 13 No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. "it is required in stewards that one be found faithful". Revelation 17:14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.
  4. The reasons why God chooses some for salvation and not others are given in general terms; and they are all based on God's will and pleasure, his glory and his grace. Eph. 1:4-6, 11 (KJV) 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 1) God has purposed to choose a people for himself, to make us holy and without blame before him in love 2) God has purposed to choose a people for himself, to adopt us into his family 3) God's purpose in election to salvation, is the good pleasure of his will 4) God's purpose in election to salvation, is the glory of his grace. 5) God predestined his chosen ones to salvation, according to the purpose and counsel of his own will. 1 Cor. 1:27-31 (KJV) 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. A) God has chosen the foolish things of the world, to confound the "wise" B) God has chosen the weak things to confound the "mighty" C) God has chosen the despised, to bring to nothing those who are something, in human terms D) God's purpose in this is that no-one should boast in his presence E) It is of God that we are in Christ Jesus (i.e. not our will or decision) F) All this is for one, overarching purpose: that the one who glories, glories in the Lord Rom. 9:14-16 (KJV) 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. 1) God's shows mercy and compassion to whom he will 2) The basis for God's choice of whom to have mercy upon, is not man's will, or works, but within God himself, who shows mercy.
  5. Thoughts on Free Will The following is an explanation of something I have said regarding what I believe about free will. I was asked to explain what I meant, so that is what I am attempting to do here. My response is: OKAY, what you partially quoted was me saying this: I enjoy free will, and what I believe about it is: You are free to choose to do what you want to do, but you are not free to choose what it is that you want to do, nor are you necessarily able, to do what you choose to do! I think perhaps the best way to explain this is giving examples of those three aspects of free will which I believe. 1. “You are free to choose to do WHAT you want to do” For example, you may choose to jump out of a flying airplane and flap your arms in an effort to fly. If that is what you want to, then yes, you are free to make that choice that is your free will. 2. “but you are not free to choose what it IS that you want to do” Now you could choose to poke your eye out with a pencil, but you not able to choose to want that. You either want that, or you do not. While some people may actually want that, I doubt they choose to want that, they just want what they want, without even thinking about it. However, most do not want that and they cannot want that, it is outside of their control. 3. “nor are you necessarily ABLE to do what you choose to do!” Going back the airplane illustration, you might make that choice to jump out, flap your arms and fly. However no matter how much you want that, no matter if you choose that, there are factors involved that prevent you from being able to fly in that manner. I believe these three thing are pretty much what can be said about free will, in terms of what you can choose freely (anything you want), what you are unable to choose limited by aspects of your own personality (which could change), and your powerlessness to make your choices happen. Summary: You can choose what you want, You cannot choose what to want, You have limited power to make your choices effective. The above are just in general, but when we begin to discuss theology, it becomes more complicated. Why? Because our will is not the only will involved. Perhaps there is another person (God) who has a say in all of this. For example, many Christians believe that as a free will choice, they decided to have Jesus the Christ as their Lord and Savior. They might even know the time and place they made that decision, and the circumstances surrounding that choice. I myself recall where I was, approximately when, and under what circumstances I made the choice. From the standpoint of my perspective, I made the choice, and I was not forced to, I freely chose. However, What if there is a being, who created me, and by virtue of His creation, He owns me, is sovereign and can do with me as He sees fit, without even asking my permission? Suppose such a One, chose me to choose Him? If He did, would that be free will on my part? What if I was unable to choose Him, because as a sinner, I am not inclined to the things of God, but am hostile and rebellious? My nature as a sinner, dictates to me what I will choose. Everything is limited by it’s own nature (outside of the miraculous). Iron horse shoes will not float in liquid water, where gravity is involved. People cannot flap their arms and fly. Even God is not able to do everything, His nature limits Him. So, what if I am a slave to sin, and it masters me? If that were the case, then I am a captive in need of liberation, though God does not owe me anything. He does not even owe me an explanation for what He does; after all, He is God! How do these things interplay, God and human free will? There once was a man named Jonah. One day, God told him to go preach to the Ninevites about their evil. Jonah did not like the Ninevites, so he thought to himself: “I think I will take a vacation in Tarshish, in the opposite direction. That is how rebellious humans use their free will. In spite of Jonah’s free will, God was not going to just let Jonah just do as he pleased. So God prepared a big fish, to give Jonah a free ride back in the direction of Nineveh. The fish vomited Jonah onto a beach, but he was still a long walk from Nineveh. I suspect that Jonah had some time to rethink this and consider his options. He could choose to do what he wanted to, but that was not working out too well for him. He wasn’t thrilled with the idea of going to Nineveh, but the option was not attractive. Now he chose to do what God said. He made that decision. While it was made begrudgingly, I submit that is was STILL his free will. Here is the thing though: God ALSO has free will. In a battle of wills, who will win? In some cases, I think it is true, that some are stubborn, and God lets them have their way. However, that isn’t really winning, that is a tragic loss. God could have, of course, made Jonah go to Nineveh, moving Jonah’s feet, and opening his mouth to make him preach. He used a donkey to speak once; he can certainly use a wayward prophet. However, God does not seem to want to make marionettes out of people. As in the case of Jonah, God does not make people go against their will, but He sure can make them willing to go! There is another thing that is something to think about. Do you believe that God know everything, including the future? I do. So, if God knew that I would someday choose His Son, Jesus, will it turn out to be just as He foresaw it? I think the answer to that question is “Yes”. I am not saying that God chose to save me, based on what he foresaw me doing eventually. After all, He chose me, I did not chose Him. Eph 1: 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. So, I would submit that people might want to ponder: If God knew that I was going to choose Him, and that was definetly how it was going to turn out, predestined, as the verse says, is there any other way it would turn out? If not, what does that mean with respect to our free will? Can we make a free will choice that makes God wrong?
  6. Romans 8:33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Romans 9:11(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) Romans 11:5Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. Romans 11:7What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. Romans 11:28As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes. Colossians 3:12Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 1 Thessalonians 1:4Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. 1 Timothy 5:21I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality. 2 Timothy 2:10Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Titus 1:1Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; 1 Peter 1:2elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 1 Peter 2:6Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 1 Peter 5:13The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son. 2 Peter 1:10Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 2 John 1:1The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; 2 John 1:13The children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen.
  7. This is just a thought that's been pestering my mind since the election, as well as that whole riot debacle last week. Biden has been saying we need to "reunite," but it looks to me like we were only ever "divided" because of the media's unbelievable hate campaign against President Trump. Stoking hate, inciting hate, blasting hate even worse than when Bush II was president. Trump pummeled them back, of course, which made things even worse and finally hit critical mass with the DC riots. Anyway, the thought is: Biden and the media are going to preach to us that no, America is not great. We're a disgrace. And shame on us for letting a president get into office who actually said out loud that we were great. We should be ashamed, wring our hands, blubber apologies to the rest of the world because we Americans are so bad. We're bad because, well, we're Americans. Will Biden put us back into that Iran deal? I'm imagining him handing them even more cash (and probably raising our taxes to do it), giving them his blessing even while they chant, rage, shout "Death to America!" Hate is a laudable virtue if it's AGAINST AMERICA. I'm imagining this is what the TV news and politicians will try to instill into us to "de-Trump" the country. In terms like the Council of Trent, something like "If anyone in any way connects the idea of greatness with America, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA." Just a thought.

  12. http://news.yahoo.com/ebola-hit-liberia-cancels-nationwide-election-135505061.html How long did it take Liberia to institute martial law because of the ebola epidemic? 7 Months. As of 29 September 2014, there were 3458 cases reported, 1830 total deaths, and 914 lab confirmed cases.[11] For comparison, Lassa fever is estimated to kill about 5000 people a year in West Africa,[12] and in Western countries, medical mistakes kill between 44,000 to 400,000 people a year. Forgot to source the above information. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Ebola_virus_epidemic_in_Liberia 3458 cases out of 4.3 million people, equals to about .08% of the population. If the US were to use this model, 254,227 people would have to become infected before martial law would be considered. Personally, I think it won't even be 10% of that before that happens. It seems too many Americans can't do math, and 25,000 people is a much scarier number than .008%. While it certainly is a very deadly and scary disease, so far I don't think it has reached epidemic, nor even pandemic levels yet, but that won't stop the media from reporting it as a biological catastrophe.
  13. I am fasting tomorrow (Monday) for the elections. Please pray with me that our Father in heaven would bless us with a President and Congress with a heart for holiness and truth. Thank you and God bless you for your sacrifice.
  14. Regardless of how we vote or our personal political affilation, what is really going to get better with this election? From a christian point of view neither party is right. It's not a matter of degrees, or this party is not as bad as that party. Wrong is wrong and evil is evil. Both parties have allowed greed to be acceptable, following idol worship to be encouraged, Christ to be removed from the public arena, and done nothing to stop sex and violence to be celebrated. Both parties have had a part in this country turning the direction away from Christ. So what exactly do you think for better or worse will change with this election? Is there any hope this country will turn back to Christ? P.S. If anyone is curious, I'm an Independent and not sure. Still praying on this, A muslim sympathizer or a ultra-rich flip flopper, either way tough choice.
