  1. I use this song for our church's Kids' Worship with movements and I just love this song. It is so uplifting and makes me very happy when I hear it. Enjoy!
  2. "Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you." -Zechariah 9:12 There are those who have been faithful, standing upon the promises of the Father. They have contended for and have walked in obedience toward the things that God has called them to, even though it seems as though war has broken out against them -- they are experiencing extreme heartache and despair. "Though an army besiege me my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident." - Psalm 27:3 Keep your eyes on the Lord. Feast on His goodness, and know that even now your Redeemer is preparing a table of feasting for you in the very presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5). REST IN THE LOVE OF THE FATHER This is a time to go deeper into the Father's rest; for rest is a form of warfare. Be assured: the Lord is fighting your battles, even as you take time to rest in Him. The battle is not yours, but the Lord's (see 1 Samuel 17:47). As you let go and let God, you will begin to see His hand at work in your life. The Lord is going to uproot lies and fears that have once found a lodging place in your heart and mind. Pick up your hope, and remember that His perfect love casts out all fear. The Lord is renewing the minds and thought processes that have not lined up with the truth of the Father's heart. He is bringing His people out of Egypt and out of a slavery mentality. You will no longer feel hemmed in and confined; the Lord Himself is bringing you into a new, spacious place! PUT ON NEW GARMENTS Watch as He crowns you with a crown of beauty and washes away despair. "I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For He has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of His righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." - Isaiah 61:10 As it is written in Psalm 24:9, "Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in." The Lord is rising on your behalf, and your victory is certain! Align your thoughts and your words with the promises of the Lord. Prophesy to the dead bones, "Come alive," for He is about to change everything. The areas of your greatest disappointments will soon be flooded with new life. Your breakthrough is near! Stand still, and see the salvation of your God (see 2 Chronicles 20:17). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. Romans 15:13 - "May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing -- through the experience of your faith--that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope." HOPE IS A DIVINE DREAM. IT'S AN INNER IMAGE THAT'S BIGGER THAN YOU ARE BECAUSE IT'S BUILT ON THE PROMISES OF GOD. Example: IF THE DOCTOR TOLD YOU THAT YOU WILL NEVER WALK, THEN YOU SEE YOURSELF CLIMBING MOUNTAINS AND BRINGING THE WORD OF GOD TO HURTING PEOPLE. YOU FIND IN SCRIPTURE (ISAIAH 40:31) WHERE IT SAYS THOSE WHO WAIT ON THE LORD SHALL RUN AND WALK AND NOT FAINT OR BE WEARY. YOU LOOK AT IT UNTIL YOU SEE NOTHING ELSE. PICTURE YOURSELF WALKING FOR MILES AND RUNNING FROM ONE PLACE TO THE NEXT, TELLING EVERYONE - JESUS HAS RAISED YOU UP AND MADE YOU WHOLE. Affirmation: I TAKE THE WORD OF GOD AND BUILD VISION .......NOW! Psalm 37:4 - "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart." Matthew 13:3,8 - “Behold, the sower went out to sow; And others fell on the good soil and *yielded a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty." It takes spiritual eyes and sensitivity to discern the movements of God in our everyday lives. Sometimes His words come as a whisper and His movements like a gentle breeze moving through the branches of our lives, but as we seek first the King and His Kingdom by confessing and meditating on His word we will discern His voice and His faithfulness through each day. We must trust God with the seeds that He plants in us. His words over us are wrapped in His faithful promises and never-ending love. They require the softness of our heart to grow deep roots and break through the ground of faith so that they will manifest in the earthly realm. We cannot demand how God grows the seed or when it will move from the soil of faith to the visible realm. We must allow the roots to go deep so that when trouble comes, our seed will not be plucked up while still in its tender beginnings. Matthew 24:45 - "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household?" The word tells us that God shows Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are "perfect" toward Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). "Perfect" doesn't mean that we have to do everything just right and live without making a mistake. It means "devoted" -- a heart consecrated, dedicated, loyal and faithful to God. Who is faithful? The one who spends his time doing what God as called him to do -- or as Jesus put it, the one who takes up his cross and follows him. The one who denies his fleshly desires and spends his life on the things God desires him to do. Affirmations: I am a faithful and wise servant. I find out what is stealing my time from the Lord. I take up Jesus' thoughts today. I take up His purposes and plans. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. 2 Chronicles 17:9 -- "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him..." The word tells us that God shows Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are "perfect" toward Him. "Perfect does not mean that we have to do everything just right and live without making a mistake. I means "devoted" -- a heart consecrated, dedicated, loyal and faithful to God. Who is faithful? The one who spends his time doing what God has called him to do. Or as Jesus put it, --the one who takes up his cross and follows Him. The one who denies His fleshly desires and spends his life on the things God desires him to do. Psalms 37:28 -- "For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake His faithful ones." Revelation 2:10 -- "Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life." AFFIRMATIONS: Today I decide to be a faithful and wise servant. I find out that is stealing my time from the Lord. I serve His interests instead of my own. I take of Jesus' thoughts today. I take up His purposes and plans. Now is the time to be faithful! INTO ACTION: What has God called me to do? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. Exodus 16:4 -- "Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law or no." God took a little insignificant matter, the food they ate -- and used it to see if they would listen to Him or not. He told them how much of it to gather, when to gather and when not to, and what to do with it after the brought it in. And the Israelites went right out and violated those instructions. They showed God by their actions that His voice was not important to them. They were not willing to obey even His simplest commands. God works the same way with us today. Before He sends us on a major mission, He gives us the occasion to prove we can be trusted with small instructions. Luke 16:10 -- "He who is faithful in a very little (thing), is faithful also in much". INTO ACTION: What has God given you to do right now? What could you do better? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. 1 Corinthians 1:9 - "God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on)." SEEDS OF AFFIRMATION, MEDITATION, PRAYER, WORKS, GIVING AND OTHER ACTS OF OBEDIENCE ARE READY TO BURST FORTH IN BUD AND FRUIT. HARVEST AWAITS THOSE WHO DO NOT YIELD TO DISCOURAGEMENT AND REMAIN CONSISTENT IN OBEDIENCE AND DILIGENCE. GRASHOPPERS OF DISCOURAGEMENT WILL ASSAULT US WHEN WE'RE WEARY. OUR STRENGTH IS DIMINISHED WHEN WE ALLOW OUR MINDS TO ENTERTAIN AND DWELL ON INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO OUR SENSES. WHEN FOCUSED ON THE TURMOIL AND UPHEAVAL OF THE TEMPORAL WE'LL BE OVERWHELMEND. IT WILL NOT BRING US STRENGTH, BUT DRAIN US. CONDITIONS AND CIRCUMSTANCES WILL COUNSEL US TO GIVE UP. Affirmations: MY SEASON OF HARVEST AWAITS ME! I DON'T ALLOW THE GRASSHOPPER OF DISCOURAGEMENT TO DESTROY ALL I'VE SOWN. GOD'S PROMISE IS SURE AND BACKED BY HIS CHARACTER. Psalm 89:8 - "O Lord God Almighty! Where is there anyone as mighty as you, Lord? Faithfulness is your very character." WHAT ARE TWO DESTRUCTIVE THINGS MY SENSES ARE TRYING TO TELL ME TODAY. 1. 2. LIST 2 AFFIRMATIONS FROM SCRIPTURE THAT I AM USING TO OVERCOME THIS THINKING. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. 1. What is the pivot point of all Christianity? Answer: Jesus' substitution and our identification with it. Jesus was made to be sin for us. He never committed sin but he became the nature of sin. To the extent that I realize that Jesus was made to be sin, that is how much I will see myself as the righteousness of God in Him. "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." - 2 Corinthians 5:21 "He died for all, so that they who live might no longer liver for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf." - 2 Corinthians 5:15 "I am crucified, with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me." - Galatians 2:20 2. What comes as a result of your first seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness? Answer: God loves me with the same love that He loves Jesus. I have as much right to expect God to move on my behalf as I would expect Him to respond to Jesus. "When that day comes you will not ask me for anything. I tell you the truth; my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name." - John 16:23 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he willl do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father." - John 14:12 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." - John 15:5 3. Why was David victorious against Goliath? Answer: He saw God on his side. He knew he was in right standing with God and God was for him. "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?" - Riomans 8:31 "But in all these things we over-whelmingly conquer through Him who loved us." - Romans 8:37 "For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High your dwelling place. For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways." - Psalm 91:9,11 4. What is the effect of righteousness? Answer: Quietness and assurance. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul." - Psalm 23:1-3 "To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, in Holiness and righteousness before Him all our days." - Luke 1:74,75 "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus, having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." - Philippians 1:6,11 5. When is it that nothing can prevail against you? Answer: When I can be confident of God's willingness to use His power in my behalf because of my right standing with Him. I have no need to fear what Satan or man can do to me. "For everyone born of God, has overcome the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith." - 1 John 5:4 "But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth." - 1 John 2:20 "But the Lord is faithful and will give you strength and will protect you from the Evil One." - 2 Thessalonians 3:3 INTO ACTION: Affirm and meditate on the indicated scriptures several times daily until the renewing of your mind is made real to your spirit. AFFIRMATIONS: Since God is for me, who can sucessfully come against me? (Romans 8:31) I am more than a conquerer since nothing can separate me from the love of Christ. (Romans 8:37,39) I am sincere and without offence, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God.(Philippians1:10,11) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. Song of Solomon 4:16 - "Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my Beloved come into His garden, and eat His pleasant fruits." This is a new day, let the Son arise with healing in His wings and let the wind of God take you to a new realm of faith and understanding in this hour for such a time as this. Choose life, and to live that life abundantly. It's not too late, it's time to begin again. It is the time for a new season of love and drinking of the new wine. It's time to be intoxicated with His love and come into the chamber – into His presence to meet with Him. He will meet with you in that secret place and show you the secrets of His heart. YOU CAN TRUST HIM He does not withhold any good thing from you, you can trust Him with your all your heart. He desires that you prosper even as your soul prospers (3 John 2). This is a time of sowing and reaping in spiritual prosperity; of seeking first the Kingdom of God and all the things you need or ever wanted shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33). This is a time of manifestation and breakthrough; of new birth where we realize that the dream is His dream and the desire is His desire. He is a faithful, faithful God! Always faithful. He is looking – seeking for a faithful Bride. The power is in your tongue (Proverbs 18:21) and the words of the Lord are in your mouth and they are God-breathed. Speak the Words He Puts in Your Mouth. Be bold and stand in the power of His Spirit with HIS words in your mouth. Fresh breath of life on the things that have died or laid dormant; dreams that seemed to have been lost but not forgotten will suddenly be realized. He is doing a new thing in you and it's a sudden thing! ARISE AND SHINE He is fanning the flame of His fire and passion in His people to burn with love and desire for the things of His heart; for the things of His Kingdom. He is saying, "It's time to arise and shine." SO ARISE! The wind of God will bring a fresh revelation and understanding. It will bring understanding for the Word of God, and fresh hunger and for His Word and His presence. Hebrew 4:12 - "For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." CONSECRATE YOURSELVES This is a time of consecration and separation of the world; but not of your relationships that are God ordained and in covenant commitment. Put off the old man and PUT ON THE NEW(Ephesians 4:24). This is an exhortation to discover and move forward in God's CALLING ON YOUR LIFE. Leave the familiar and breaking the cycle of your fleshly desires, ways and mind-sets -- break the lies that say the grass is greener on the other side, when in fact the grass is dried up, full of weeds and thorns – where there is no water or life in the carnal ways of man. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. saiah 11:2 - "And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him: the spirit of wisdom, and of understanding, the spirit of counsel, and of fortitude, the spirit of knowledge, and of godliness." Observation: THE VIRTUE OF FORTITUDE IS OFTEN MISTAKEN AS MERELY DRAWING STRENGTH FROM GOD. BUT THEN I BELIEVE I HAVE STRENGTH IN MYSELF, AND THERE IS NOTHING SO WEAK AND FAILING AS THAT. FORTITUDE COMES UPON ME WHEN MY SOUL HAS FOUND ITS ONE UNFAILING SHELTER - THAT IS, WHEN I HAVE SEEN WITH THE EYES OF FAITH, WHEN CHALLENGES COME, HOW MY SOUL HAS FLED INTO ITS ALL-SURROUNDING GOD. HE ALONE IS MY EVERLASTING WALL OF STRENGTH. Acts 6:8 - "And Stephen, full of grace and fortitude, did great wonders and signs among the people." John 1:17 - "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." People who do not know Jesus' heart read His words and consider them too hard. Their problem lies in the fact that they have missed His grace. Both grace and truth are realized in Jesus. When Jesus gives me something that seems impossible, He provides the grace to accomplish it. Hebrews 4:16 - "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Psalm 100:4,5 - "Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations." Satan’s plan is to make us somehow accept, either through our upbringing, our experiences or through Church dogma that certain portions of the life of Christ are untrue or not valid in our case. Every battle we face in life is over the word and whether or not we can build our lives upon the faithfulness and integrity of God. Hebrews 10:23 - "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is FAITHFUL" ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. We need to stir up the holy gifts within us - they (THE GIFTS) begin to be released again when we remember God's goodness to us; when we learn to meditate in our hearts on His past faithfullness and His love for us. Hinderances to Heavenly Access include: 1. FORGETTING GOD'S PAST FAITHFULLNESS Psalm 78:41,42 - "Yes, again and again they tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. They did not remember His power....." Psalm 78:11 - " They refused to walk in His law, and forgot His works and His wonders that He had shown them." Mark 8:17-19 - "Is your heart still hardened? Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?" The disciples had lost the power of their understanding, and they were seeing in the natural, not with their spiritual eyes. 2. NOT EXERCISING YOUR SPIRITUAL SENSES Hebrews 5:14 - "But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." Sensitivity comes by using what God gives us. The phrase "reason of use" means "habit or practice" in the Greek. Practice hearing the Lord's voice by: Soaking Being heavenly minded Waiting -- expecting God will show-up Laying hands on the sick 3. FAILURE TO HEAR HIS VOICE "TODAY" Hebrews 3:7-9 - "Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: 'Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, and saw My works forty years'" We should expect to hear from the Lord every day. Every day is "today". Sometimes it's a small nudge or an impression through a scripture. We shouldn't expect third heaven visitations each day, but we should hear from our Father each day. 4. THE CARES OF THE WORLD Mark 4:18,19 - "Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful." You can't engage the revelatory when you are too caught up in the things of this world. When you are too focused on the temporal, you can't focus on the eternal realm. If your heart treasures the things of the world, then you will have a hard heart. 5. FAILURE TO REALIZE THE WORD IN OUR SPIRIT THROUGH AFFIRMATION, MEDITATION AND VISUALIZATION. 6. THE DECEITFULNESS OF SIN Hebrews 3:13 - "But exhort one another daily, while it is called 'Today', lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." Questions to Ask Myself: 1. WHICH IN THE ABOVE LIST IS BLOCKING ME FROM MY HEAVENLY ACCESS? 2. HOW BADLY DO I WANT TO ACCESS HEAVEN IN MY DAILY WALK? WHAT IS MY PLAN OF ACTION? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. Romans 15:13 - "May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing -- through the experience of your faith--that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope." Hope is a devine dream. It's an inner image that's bigger than you are because it's built on the promises of God. Example: If the doctor told you that you will never walk then you see yourself climbing mountains and bringing the word of God to hurting people. You find in scripture (Isaiah 40:31) where it says those who wait on the Lord shall run and walk and not faint or be weary. You look at it until you see nothing else. Picture yourself walking for miles and running from one place to the next, telling everyone -- Jesus as raised you up and made you whole. Affirmations: Today I am becoming a dreamer. I take the word of God and build some dreams.....NOW! Psalm 37:4 - "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart." Matthew 24:45 - "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household?" The word tells us that God shows Himself strong in behalf of those whos hearts are "perfect" toward Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). "Perfect" doesn't men that we have to do everything just right and live without making a mistake. AFFIRMATIONS: Today I decide to be a faithful and wise servant. I find out what is stealing my time from the Lord. I take up Jesus' thoughts today. I take up His purposes and plans. Now is the time to be faithful! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

  13. love to you all. my intent in creating this topic is to : a) discuss the differences between the 5 Crowns mentioned in the Scriptures. b) discuss which Crown(s) you are striving for daily, and which you believe Jesus Christ will place on your head on the day of recognition. --------------- 1) The Incorruptible Crown! (emphasis: mine) 1Co 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 1Co 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 1Co 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 1Co 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. this Crown is awarded to those of us who like Paul, faithfully run the race! those of us who with the help of the Holy Spirit, strive to crucify EVERY fleshly and selfish desire in submission to Christ. and in doing so, continually point mankind to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! the Crown that can never perish.. the imperishable Crown. what types of Crowns can we speculate are referred to here as perishable(corruptible) then? 2) The Crown of Rejoicing! (emphasis: mine) 1Th 2:19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? 1Th 2:20 For ye are our glory and joy. it appears this Crown is a soul winner's Crown! awarded to those of us who faithfully witness God's saving Grace through the blood of Jesus Christ, and lead others to the foot of the Cross! those who are anointed in bringing the lost to become found as new creatures in Christ will shine like the STARS in the heavens for eternity in glory to the Father! Hallelujah! Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. 3) The Crown of Life (emphasis: mine) Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. whew praise Jesus for Matthew Henry! trials, tribulations, sufferings, and even unto death! the martyr's Crown! Oh what a love so grand Christ has placed in the hearts of His children! And they will be rewarded accordingly! Hallelujah! Rev 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. whew...thank you Jesus! 4)The Crown of Righteousness! (emphasis: mine) 2Ti 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 2Ti 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course,I have kept the faith: 2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Come Lord Jesus come! all who anxiously await His return in all His glory for His saints! all those who have fought the good fight of faith will wear this Crown of Righteousness! Hallelujah! 5) The Crown of Glory!
