As someone who knows many young adults who are seemingly going the way of the world, I wanted to look into the topic of "the mind". I confess that this study was originally done because I have an older son who is totally focused on the things of the world at this time and I did this study with him in mind. I welcome your input and studies with regard to the Word on this matter...as I think it is a very important topic for those of us who wish we had something on hand to help us witness and testify to how important it is to examine what we are "thinking about". It is also a reminder for us as Christians to be "mindful" of these things as well. What Is On Your Mind? Romans 8:5-7 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Ephesians 2:3, 4:17 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Philippians 3:19 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things. Titus 1:15 15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. BE RECONCILED AND RENEWED IN MIND Colossians 1:21 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, Hebrews 10:16 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; Ephesians 4:22-24 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Philippians 2:5 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 1 Cor. 2:16 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ. Col. 3:2 (NKJV) 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Hebrews 4:12 - "For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Faith is of the heart or spirit. It's not of the head or of the soul, which consists of the mind and emotions. Affirmation: WHEN I HAVE THE WORD OF GOD DEPOSITED IN MY SPIRIT, I'LL ACT ON IT NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES, AND I'LL KEEP ACTING ON IT EVEN IF I DON'T SEE ANYTHING HAPPENING. I DON'T HAVE TO SEE, HEAR OR FEEL THE ANSWER. I BELIEVE -- FAITH ISOF THE HEART. Proverbs 3:5 - "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding." Revelation 4:1,2 - "After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, 'Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this."' We accept His invitation to come up higher by focusing on Christ our Redeemer, Deliverer and Healer, not our difficulties. God has NEW FRONTIERS OF THE SPIRIT for us to explore and higher mountains of faith for us to climb. The Lord Jesus Christ is inviting us to LIFT OUR VISION UP, above our circumstances and situations, to fix our eyes on Him and His Word. As we do this we can expect to see the glory of God fill our lives and those who we touch. Observation: THAT INVITATION HAS NOT BEEN RESCINDED AND I HAVE THE SAME CHOICE TODAY. MY FAITH CAN QUICKEN ME TO EXPERIENCE THE VERY SAME REALM. I AM ALREADY SEATED WITH CHRIST IN HEAVENLY PLACES. I ONLY NEED TO USE THE ACCESS I HAVE BEEN GIVEN IN CHRIST. Song of Solomon 4:11 - "Your lips, my spouse, drip like a honeycomb: honey and milk are under your tongue; and the fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon." IT IS THE BRIDEGROOM HIMSELF (JESUS) WHO IS RICH WITHIN YOU. YOUR LIPS ARE USED BY THE BRIDEGROOM TO SPEAK HIS WORD. HE PLACES HONEY AND MILK UNDER YOUR TONGUE SO THAT YOU MAY GIVE THEM TO ANY THAT LACK. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

It is easy to go to sleep reviewing negative ideas and pictures in our mind and wake up in the morning with a poisoned and negative spirit instead of falling asleep loving and receiving from Jesus, our Lord and Savior. CONTINUOUSLY DECLARE GOD'S WORDS We declare truth over any negative circumstance in our lives and we see Jesus present in inner healing scenes. And since we do this continuously, this becomes ALL that we see. We do not see sickness. We do not see lack. We do not see pain. We see Jesus, everwhere. We behold the glory of the Lord. We have reached that blessed state becaus we see God, everywhere, all the time (see Matthew 5:8). The Morning Star has arisen in our hearts, and our hearts are full of ONLY His light (see 2 Peter 1:19). WHATEVER WE FIX OUR EYES ON GROWS WITH US AND WHATEVER GROWS WITHIN US WE BECOME "His delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditat day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." - Psalms 1:2-3 Focus, repetition (Romans 10:17 - "Faith comes from hearing and hearing, by the word of Christ."), and intensity are steps we take to move truth from our heads to our hearts. The command to look intently (see James 1:25) and to meditate continuously (see Philippians 4:8) would be examples of using focus and repetition. Repeating healing prayers pours divine light continually into our beings, until we are entirely sanctified -- spirit, soul, and body (see 1 Thessalonians 5:23). We become the radiance of His glory because we have bathed ourselves in His glory continuously. Darkness, sickness, and demons have now fled because of the light of His glory. PRAY AND MEDITATE MORNING AND EVENING We pray RESTORATIVE prayers when we awaken and are lying in bed in the morning. We pray the same prayers as we lie in bed preparing to fall asleep (see 1 Chronicles 23:30). In doing this we are "renewing our mind" (Romans 12:2) with the truth of God's divine reality. Any previous lies of the enemy which filled our heart in the past are being swept away by these cascading waves of truth which come crashing down again and again (as we affirm and meditate), until every demonic stronghold in our mind is demolished and we are fully set free and completely filled with: God's light, God's truth, God's glory, and God's reality. Once your spirit and soul are healed, delivered, and set free, God's light, which is growing within you, will penetrate your body (see Philippians 2:12-13). As it does, your body will be transformed allowing you to ultimately experience the fullness of His convenant blessings overtaking you. You have pressed through satan's lies until you are conscious of ONLY one reality: God's reality. "Work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." - Philippians 2:12-13 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Genesis 1:2 - "And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." If the Holy Spirit can make a glorious creation out of the most desolate place, He can bring forth a glorious new creation out of the most desolate, confused, and empty life. 1 Corinthians 1:2 - "To all who are called to be God's holy people, who belong to Him in union with Jesus Christ, together with all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours." Affirmations: I REALIZE THAT I AM GOD'S CHILD AND HAVE THE POWER OF ATTORNEY TO USE THE NAME OF JESUS AND HAVE EVERYTHING THE WORD SAYS I CAN HAVE. I HAVE CONFIDENCE BECAUSE I KNOW THAT I'M NOT SPEAKING MY OWN WORDS, I AM SPEAKING GOD'S WORD AND IT WILL COME TO PASS. Ephesians 2:19 - "Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God". Psalm 34:1 -" I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Affirmation: MY PRESENT FOCUS DETERMINES MY PRESENT JOY. Psalm 69:30 - "I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
