  1. Open Letter to Rock Bottom Dear Down in the Dumps, You are not in a nice place to visit or indefinitely live. I know, I have been there too many times. Since then I have burned my passport and remain grounded, gladly. The local authorities and citizens do not understand my alien presence. They cannot keep this message out. I will explain later. You will not complain sooner. Listen, look and warm yourself up to light versus darkness. Defect from that infected wasteland. Walk this way for freedom! Before I believed in anything worth mentioning, I desperately decided to buy into "Allen Carr's 'Easy Way to Stop Smoking.'" Heck, he wrote I could even smoke as I read the book! I took a leap of faith out the hole of butts and ash. I actually enjoyed and laughed at old cues to spark a dart. Nic fits were only a fading memory of how and what I used to be like. I had been deprogrammed from doom and reprogrammed for life. Thank goodness, because all drags from cigarettes had become depressing slave wage reminders of death. I could not prove or understand it but I believed it had worked, setting me free. I see that now was a good sign, open door and ray of hope. Major problems had potential solutions. I believed things could be better. Before I met and surrendered to Jesus Christ, I waged war with myself and the world. I abused my being with alcohol, marijuana and drug experimentation. I sat much of my life in front of a screen playing questionable games. I cheated on God, my future wife and myself with pornography and masturbation. I was living the bad dream of a wicked party scene. My heart had holes, my mind was free for the taking, my body was in ruin and my soul was lost and bound. Mental health issues coincided with the start of all of the above. By my fourth psychiatric ward stay I actually enjoyed doing my time and running the show. Pride, lust, anger, gluttony and slothfulness as deadly sins were aiming to win. It was either end up a casualty of spiritual warfare or be saved by divine intervention. Enter my Saviour, Lord, teacher and protector. I read the Bible out of curiousity. I thought I should for its major influence on the world and world view. Believing and in it does not change that in any case. Tragedy struck when my parents' dog died in my arms. What I was doing with my life and would come after hit me hard. God had spoken, my deaf ears had been opened. I quit pot on the spot. I mourned Baloo's death and a life I was not getting. I compensated by binge drinking. I started getting drunk in the morning. I was listening to Harvesters FM, a Christian radio station constantly. They suggested AA, Alcoholics Anonymous. I went and got on the sober wagon. Gaming got the boot. Pornography and masturbation were confessed, apologized for, repented from and rebuked. All of the above related to asking Jesus Christ into my heart and life through a simple, sincere to the point prayer. The Bible was now more than history and what Christianity was based on. It was God's word speaking to me, changing my life for His pure glory, perfect plan and purpose. Not the story of my life, but Jesus Christ's death for the church as his wife. It is thee book that's truth never changes as always relevant. Now I am part of the book of life, hallelujah! Not the end, Gregory Keith Jonathan Brumwell 2018 Testimony Saved by Jesus Christ as of December 18, 2016, GKJB-1973 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. - John 3:11 New International Version (NIV) 31 “If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true. - John 5:31 New International Version (NIV) 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. - John 1:7 New International Version (NIV)
  2. Hi Jay, welcome to worthy
  3. Life can be a guessing game, a chess game or a tiring thinking process of what that person's next move may be. I'd rather walk my walk as giving love and trust.
  4. Give the title and author. I made mine a link to Goodreads, you don't have to. (copied and pasted cause I'm a lazy typer ) Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
  5. Hi there I wondered if it would be possible to have permission to post a topic re my new spiritual gaming experience I have been creating please. It runs on a PC and also is compatible with virtual reality headsets, although you do not need one to run it. It takes place in a medieval chapel setting and has a candlelit chapel with a crypt beneath along with a medieval and renaissance art gallery. I am creating a totally free experience to try and promote the beautiful sermons of a priest I used to know. He has been dead for over 10 years now and I did not want his message to be forgotten. I understand videos cannot be linked here so I will not do that, I can submit that to the video forum. I just wanted to make sure it was ok to share this project with the community here and not take liberties. There is a free demo to download and try and a website to read up on the background of the project. I won't disclose any of it until I am advised it is ok. Kind regards, Fal
  6. Hey there needs to be a game section under Fellowship. I will give this a try. What word comes to mind the last person posted? I will start, Hot
  7. We are launching a Christian game design company, and one project that we are doing is called 'Show Gaming Love'. We have partnered with three churches in Liberia, Nigeria, and Pakistan. We are going to give them Christian games to show the youth love and encouragement. We are also going to bless each ministry with a new laptop. There are young adults that desire to make Christian games. Many of these are from the Philippines. We are looking at having scholarships for many of them to attend. We would appreciate your prayer support in these areas. Bringing Christianity to game design is almost pioneering. We have spread the Word in televangelism, radio, books, movies, magazines, etc. Not it is time to bring the ministry to video games.
  8. My Brothers and Sisters, just visiting a few online gaming sites that precious young ones visit, my youngest is ten, and what do I see an ad asking if they were looking for love and were fast enough to catch a scantily clad person. And people wander why I have a passion to spearhead Christian game development, game design schools, buying online game sites. We need to make games where busting up a barrel and taking the contents is not rewarded. We need to make games that do not have scantily clad characters. Respect can be taught. Truth can be taught. Integrity, honour, justice...they can be taught. The Love of God can be showed and learned. Am some wander why I am going to this BIG. They are young adults all over the world that what to make games, and they LOVE Christ. There is an ENORMOUS group that can be reached. As Christians, it is our job to find Our Father's children that have fell behind. I am preparing to delve into creating a new genre of game design: Faith Based. Two projects in this category are 'Armour of God' and 'People of the Bible: Genesis'. We will also develop games that will teach and reinforce positive Christian character traits. I am helping a church in revolution war stricken Liberia. Speaking to the senior pastor and youth pastor, I have decided to sponsor them, and bring a computer and games emphasizing the Love of Christ. Likewise there is a great hunger to make Christian games by youth in the Philippines. I would appreciate prayer support in this exciting venture in witnessing. Matthew 18:18-20. This I embrace as my calling. I am to reach through game design and I am to teach those hungry to serve the Lord and learn Game Design. May the blessing of Our Father be upon you to bless others in His Name. Brother Jay
