  1. I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior and told Him to come into my heart on July 28, 2019. However, my mind just started cursing towards Him. It made me miserable for days. My grandfather said to trust in Jesus; my faith is incredibly low, yet I know Jesus rose from the dead. Last night (August 8), I just thought, “I reject the Holy Spirit”, then boom! My body just felt a release. I felt incredibly scared, sad, and incredibly numb. I talked to my church's college & career leaders tonight and they told me that God will never leave me and He still loves me. Now, either I'm acting like I don't care or I'm feeling better? I don't know. I mean, when I listen to a Christian song, I don't feel much. When I listened to an audio sermon from Rick Warren's "The Purpose Driven Life", I also felt nothing. Did I actually commit the unpardonable sin? Did the Holy Spirit actually leave me? Am I really going to Hell? Am I not really saved? Why am I not really caring?
  2. Behold

    Jesus <> God

2nd Corinthians 4:6 : " For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."" Let us search the way this verse reveals how Jesus is God.... John 1:10 So beautiful. --------------------------- """For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness......"""" This is not only a reference to Genesis....."let there be LIGHT". But its a reference to and a description of Yeshua, who IS TRUTH, John 14:6....& came to this fallen (Dark) World He created, John 6:51 and shined and still shines, as the "Light of the World". Its also a statement regarding spiritual darkness, as the state of the fallen, defined as "the World", as they are described as having their "mind's blinded" by the Devil. 2nd Corinthians 4:4. As.... if you are mentally - spiritually blinded, then you are INSIDE Spiritual Darkness, and it is INSIDE YOU. The verse continues... "hath shined in our hearts".... Here the idea is, that The Truth (as shining) is being revealed to us, concerning Christ, who is the shining Light of the world. He is not "a" truth, but in fact Jesus is "THE" Truth. John 14:6 and continuing the revelation, (the shining)... and now explaining the "why" of the (shining) revelation.. = what is the purpose? "to give the knowledge".... as this is the reason for all "Light" that is given. Its to reveal and impart... Its a means to open the eyes of your Spiritual UNDERSTANDING.... as something revealed by the shining Light of revelation, is an opening into the understanding of a spiritual knowledge. This is the purpose of the shining of the light (revelation) into our hearts.... And what is the revelation? First.... That Jesus has been revealed to us, by our spiritual awakening. (Quickening). We have been given the revelation that Jesus is the Messiah, The Savior, The Son of God, who is the One sent from and came down from Heaven, John 6:51. and that Jesus alone is Salvation...."THE way". "i am THE resurrection".... "that you may KNOW that you have eternal life", as Jesus IS eternal life. The reason you have eternal life right now, is because you have Jesus, who IS Eternal Life. and foremost the revelation is to expose THIS Truth.... = "of the Glory of God......(where ?) .= IN THE FACE of Jesus Christ."""" And what is the Glory of God? Its His essence.. Its His Righteousness, ..... Its His nature..... it's His image..... Its HIMSELF, revealed as JESUS the Righteous, whose name...is HOLY., and Holy is the Lamb. They are the same. They are One. In the beginning the word was God, and God Timothy 3:16. is manifested in the Flesh as "I am". This is why when Thomas, upon first seeing Jesus after He was resurrected said...."my Lord and my GOD", and Jesus didn't correct Him, as why would God correct the Truth regarding Himself ? ??? So, THIS = is why you have this verse in the NT.....> "if you've seen ME (Jesus) you've SEEN the Father,""", as God and Jesus are mirrors of each other. Jesus is the image of God, the Face of God, the Grace of God, the Truth of God, The Blood of God, the Word of God, the Spirit of God, the Glory of God, the Righteousness of God, the Heart of God, The Love of God, the Forgiveness of God, and the Power of God. Jesus is God.
  3. I have felt and been silent for month because I feel Jesus has passed me by. I wonder if this feeling is because i have grieved the spirit. I literally just want to walk off the face of the earth because i dont think the cross has no power in my life. I am hallow.
  4. Hello! I am new around here, and only a week or so old when it comes to being on worthy. I shared a part of my testimony in the forums, and was well greeted. So thank you! I want to expound a little on my testimony here. For those of you who have not seen my testimony, I would like to take a moment to catch you up on a few things. Nearing the end of 2015 I was severely ill and was hospitalized. I didn't realize it at the time though, and I spent a great deal of time in the hospital. It was there I was diagnosed with a plethora of different mental health issues. Anxiety, depression, and PTSD among many others that I cannot all name. I am still currently on medication, and under doctors care until I am "declared" by the doctors to no longer need them. I am hoping that with my recent healing, which I will tell you about in a moment, that I will be able to make a full recovery and get back up on my feet. Now, to my healing and additional baptism of the holy spirit: I had popped into an online chat room on a video feed from youtube. It was of a fairly well known church, and they were holding a prayer service. I had popped in for the sole reason of letting others know that someone, whom is also well known, was sick and was in need of prayer. I didn't do much chatting but I stuck around. Perhaps it was an inclination of what was to come? I digress, my visit wasn't in vain. The pastor of this church received a word of knowledge while praying aloud. It was about someone who was watching online. This person was heavily afflicted with a spirit of suicide. My eyes got wide. That's me! I thought. I stuck around to hear more but nothing more was said other than they had prayed for the spirit to be removed. I briefly chatted on and off with some of the people in the chatroom. I saw that one brother was announcing that, if anyone needed healing he would speak to them through facebook. I went to facebook and messaged him immediately. The wait was on! I thought he might not get around to me that night, because there were others that were asking for healing as well. It was getting later and later in the evening. It was then he reached out and contacted me through facebook. We spoke a little before he called me through messenger. He began telling me of the father's love for me, and what Jesus had done for me in order for myself to be healed. He had words of knowledge that only could come from God. Things he would have never known in the natural. Things only God and I would know. I have to admit I was a little surprised. I had never received words like this before. He spoke of different ailments, injuries, and even the illnesses that have affected me for most of my life. He addressed the "smaller" issues first, but what an impact it had on me! One of my legs, which was shorter than the other grew out! Something that I had dealt with on and off in my life, but was painful to deal with. Then he proceeded to my back. Since I was off kilter when walking I was in pain. God healed that as well. Then came the BIG ONE. Not only had I had a serious injury when I was younger, my head was not all the way in the car and I slammed the door shut on it. It hurt for awhile but then faded.. God wanted to not only heal me of my mental health issues, but that old traumatic injury as well. The Lord healed that old injury through that man. I was then healed of my mental health issues, and could feel a tingling on the side of my head. The man spoke words of life to my brain, and each part was healed with the help of the holy spirit. At some point, I cannot remember when but I had started crying. I was so happy! This is what I had been waiting for! I had asked on and off for the healing and it had not yet come. I had all but given up on it, but before all this healing began my hope and belief was rekindled. I held onto that hope, that belief very tightly. This man, I had met, continued to minister to me until I had heard him say, "Did you ever ask to be baptized in the Holy Spirit?" I was floored! I had been asking on and off for that too, but had not yet received an answer. Jesus even showed up in my room and had wrapped his arm around me. I was ecstatic! It was then I asked him to baptize me in the holy spirit. He did so and I felt something come on me. I couldn't quite make it out, but my left side of my head was tingling again. I then thanked the Lord for all he had done. It was there that this brother in Christ had told me about who I was in Christ, and that he would send a book full of scripture to show me who I was. I gladly accepted that book, and am currently reading it, albeit slowly. I find myself going back over certain parts to see how it all plays together. It has not fully sunk in yet, but I've made great breakthroughs lately with God's help. And now, I am currently going to start attending classes about how to move in the gifts of the holy spirit, and I will learn how to be submissive to the spirit so he can work with me to help others. I looked forward to many wonderful adventures with our Lord. ❤️
  5. Greetings, What are we grateful of today? If I can make a suggestion, it would be before you get out of bed, the first thing you do is tell God how thankful you are to be alive and share your gratefulness with Him about anything else that you are inspired about. I need to do more of this myself, but I think God appreciates that sort of thing. 🙂 Peace
  6. Okay, so here's the thing, I know for a fact this post is going to push a few buttons as I know there is bound to be at least one person who is a member at this church who will see this. Firstly, let me start off by saying that I do not know how to test the spirits as yet and therefore I am unable to tell whether or not someone is a false prophet and so, therefore, I always conduct a google search to do a background check on the "preacher" in question - I've only recently started doing this. I think highly of Joyce Meyer but according to research, she's a false prophet. I wouldn't say I follow the teaching of Steve Furtick as I have yet to listen to one of his messages but I love, love, love Elevation Worship. According to research, he is a false prophet. I have seen online that Pastor Furtick is a big fan of rock music and it shows in his ministry, his church does look a lot like a concert venue. It just makes me question if I am in the wrong for listening and worshipping to the music of Elevation Worship. I have their songs fullness, give me faith, the King is among us and resurrecting on repeat, with a strong love for a couple others. ANOTHER EXAMPLE: Charlotte Gambill of Life Church, Bradford, UK I remember my first encounter with Charlotte's message, it was at a women's conference hosted by a popular UK Christian organisation called Premier. I loved her message and went on to attend Charlotte's own women conference several months later with empowering and uplifting messages, there was a couple of secular songs played but not half as much as I heard when I attended her conference this year. I guess I didn't hear as much secular music as I attended her conference myself this year and was always on time to hear the word, in comparison to last year when I went with a friend and we were always late. This year, music from the likes of Beyonce, Pharrell Williams etc. was played and I looked around thinking that I couldn't possibly be the only person to disagree with what was going on? Secular music at a Christian conference? I wasn't as bothered last year as I wasn't so grounded in the word and in my faith as yet but my present church has taught me how vital it is to not participate in listening and singing secular music. I guess 1 Corinthians 10:31 confirms why, "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." The issue is I love their worship team too, not half as much as I do Elevation Worship but that's beside the point. Honestly, I don't know why I even bothered to write this post. I know it's wrong to continue listening to a worship team led by a wolf in sheep's clothing. I guess like things of the world it's hard to pull away from something damaging to your spiritual walk, even more so actually. I just thought I would share my viewpoint with you all. God bless you all, Deanne
  7. What was your walk with God like? Did you have any experience's? Did anything change? Miracles? Testing? Holy spirit?
  8. My following testimony is inspired by shapes' post in the "Worthy Q & A for Seekers" forum. And I quote, "How does God deal with those who have mental illness. Does he heal people from this affliction?" https://www.worthychristianforums.com/topic/219239-mental-illness-god/#comment-2777709 God dealt with my mind in a mess by giving me a guardian angel. I have seen and heard her. God had me born into an amazing family. They love, protect and provide for me. God gave me and the ability to discern real true friends. Only a couple dozen never gave up on me. God supplied me with doctors, psychiatrists and professionals. Medications, personal care and safety nets caught me when I fell, repeatedly. God commands my government, nation and community services to help me, however little and lacking it is. God dealt with me by interacting with my heart, mind, body and soul. Most importantly, God dealt with my sin by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to save, protect and heal me. I have been saved since 2016's Christmas season. I dove deep into everything Christian and came up baptized on the last day of 2017 (also baptized as an infant). I attended some prayer meetings last year. They anointed me with oil and prayed for the healing of my mind. Since then, God has been healing and restoring me among other areas of my life. I feel shocks of energy surge though and jerk my body. I have been told this is the blood of Jesus running through me. When I am praying, willingly changing my thoughts to God's will, having revelations or meditating on God, I feel tangible physical healing in my temples behind my eyes. It has the similar sensation of a yawn, a condensed vibration. A Christian veteran I admire said something that stuck in my head relatively recently. "I don't even think like that anymore." It was a eureka revelation moment at the time and applies to what has been happening to my mind over the past year. I am becoming less like the Greg of the past and more like Christ. The Holy Spirit is alive and well in me and changing me for the better. The short answer is, "yes," He does heal people from this affliction. How God deals with sin, evil, death and even demons is by offering Jesus Christ a place in between us and all those "mental health issues." The secular world is leaving out God (in three Persons) as the ultimate and only real true solution, cure, coping mechanism and explanation, etcetera. I am living breathing proof. People would have a hard time believing my past. People in my past would have a hard time believing my present. My future will be hard to believe for anyone stuck in the secular world ignoring the one, true, living God. Jesus Christ is alive and well and has made me so, eternally, glory be to our Heavenly Father! 12 The demons begged Jesus, “Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.” 13 He gave them permission, and the impure spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned. - Mark 5:12-13 New International Version (NIV) 3 Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. - Hebrews 3:1 New International Version (NIV) 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:7 New International Version (NIV)
  9. I read the entire "Christian's going to hell" thread and was about to jump in with my own reply. I did not realize the limitations of this forum section. I suppose that is fine. I got a lot out of what was discussed but still struggle with some of it. I get all the points of views, proof, beliefs and such. I am not trying to call out or trap anyone. I am a baby Christian and have honest questions for clarification. I pray we can all come to an agreement on God's word and truth. I was hoping we could base the discussion on Matthew 25 ( https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=matthew+25&version=NIV ) and how it related to the thread I could not jump in on. My question is this. Does Matthew 25 add or take away from any and all posts made there by *everyone*? I have more specific questions too. The ten virgins for starters, do they not represent Christians covered in the blood of Jesus? I am not clear on the oil in their lamps as well. I suppose it could relate to my above general question. I am wrestling with all this. I believe I am a born again Christian. I have faith in my salvation. I am concerned about others I care for and love. I will elaborate and add more enquiries as this thread develops. May opportunities open to know and understand the Holy Trinity better. Be well, content and helpful in the Lord.
  10. Our Heavenly Father, whose Son is thee door to heaven, Holy Spirit lovingly teaching us meaning of your name. I continue to confess, apologize for, rebuke and repent from surfacing sin. May your revival usher in your kingdom according to your will with ours bent to it. May our leaders own up to their power and responsibilities by declaring and enabling your rule, reign and sovereignty. May they be careful and aware of their extreme influence. May we awake and arise to these times of spiritual crisis from which all other curses fester. May we acknowledge Jesus Christ as living water from whom all healing and restoration flows. Forgive us Lord for our distractions, false idols and sin in place of You. We are near rock bottom and have only You to save us. Have mercy on our souls. May You revive us and have us grow, ripe for harvest. Lest we forget the folly and fate of our past. We have You to thank and draw us near in times of desperation. I call upon your terms, cleanse the church to make Christ's body fit for the good Lord's fight, already won, rescue more lost souls. I dare cry "bloody murder" yet truth being told with our Saviour sacrificing himself. All who believe in him live eternally ever after. In Jesus Christ's pure perfect holy name I pray, amen. GregoryB
  11. Open Letter to Rock Bottom Dear Down in the Dumps, You are not in a nice place to visit or indefinitely live. I know, I have been there too many times. Since then I have burned my passport and remain grounded, gladly. The local authorities and citizens do not understand my alien presence. They cannot keep this message out. I will explain later. You will not complain sooner. Listen, look and warm yourself up to light versus darkness. Defect from that infected wasteland. Walk this way for freedom! Before I believed in anything worth mentioning, I desperately decided to buy into "Allen Carr's 'Easy Way to Stop Smoking.'" Heck, he wrote I could even smoke as I read the book! I took a leap of faith out the hole of butts and ash. I actually enjoyed and laughed at old cues to spark a dart. Nic fits were only a fading memory of how and what I used to be like. I had been deprogrammed from doom and reprogrammed for life. Thank goodness, because all drags from cigarettes had become depressing slave wage reminders of death. I could not prove or understand it but I believed it had worked, setting me free. I see that now was a good sign, open door and ray of hope. Major problems had potential solutions. I believed things could be better. Before I met and surrendered to Jesus Christ, I waged war with myself and the world. I abused my being with alcohol, marijuana and drug experimentation. I sat much of my life in front of a screen playing questionable games. I cheated on God, my future wife and myself with pornography and masturbation. I was living the bad dream of a wicked party scene. My heart had holes, my mind was free for the taking, my body was in ruin and my soul was lost and bound. Mental health issues coincided with the start of all of the above. By my fourth psychiatric ward stay I actually enjoyed doing my time and running the show. Pride, lust, anger, gluttony and slothfulness as deadly sins were aiming to win. It was either end up a casualty of spiritual warfare or be saved by divine intervention. Enter my Saviour, Lord, teacher and protector. I read the Bible out of curiousity. I thought I should for its major influence on the world and world view. Believing and in it does not change that in any case. Tragedy struck when my parents' dog died in my arms. What I was doing with my life and would come after hit me hard. God had spoken, my deaf ears had been opened. I quit pot on the spot. I mourned Baloo's death and a life I was not getting. I compensated by binge drinking. I started getting drunk in the morning. I was listening to Harvesters FM, a Christian radio station constantly. They suggested AA, Alcoholics Anonymous. I went and got on the sober wagon. Gaming got the boot. Pornography and masturbation were confessed, apologized for, repented from and rebuked. All of the above related to asking Jesus Christ into my heart and life through a simple, sincere to the point prayer. The Bible was now more than history and what Christianity was based on. It was God's word speaking to me, changing my life for His pure glory, perfect plan and purpose. Not the story of my life, but Jesus Christ's death for the church as his wife. It is thee book that's truth never changes as always relevant. Now I am part of the book of life, hallelujah! Not the end, Gregory Keith Jonathan Brumwell 2018 Testimony Saved by Jesus Christ as of December 18, 2016, GKJB-1973 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. - John 3:11 New International Version (NIV) 31 “If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true. - John 5:31 New International Version (NIV) 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. - John 1:7 New International Version (NIV)
  12. Good day, fellow Christians, I tend not to reach out and ask for help. I am trying to change that with and through God. My father has stage four cancer in several areas. He relies on God's will but is assuming the worst. We are fine with being realistic. We know where we are going. I refuse to give up on hope, him and God. He has many loved ones praying for him, thankfully. This is a call out for even more. Please include him specifically or generally in your prayers. God is in control, he makes and lets everything happen for His reasons and glory. Prayers heard by God will be answered, be they yes, no or wait. I thank you for your time, effort and support in the good Lord, Jesus Christ, my Saviour and Lord. God bless you, GregoryB
  13. 2 kings 2 8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground. 9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. 10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. 11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. 13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; 14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over. 15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him. VS 10 shows that it was not impossible, it shows that what was asked was great, however it could be done. Psalms 2 says 8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. 9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. The lord said anything you want, just ask. Your dreams may be great but there is nothing too great for God, nothing he will not give you. Though imagine now having thousands of acres of land, it will need tending to wont it? Or a big business, that will need staff and structure. The dream and desire may be as great as you can fathom however it comes at a price it takes work and responsibility to have it, Galatians 6:5 says let every man bear his own burden in vs 7 it says whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap, this means that even though the dream is free the road is not. Further on in the book of 2kings we get chapter 13 when Elisha had died that reads 21 And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet. So what does this tell us, that the power of God so saturated the physical body of Elisha that even his buried bones brought a man back to life! Whoah isn’t that something. Now this was before Christ came. This was before the devil was defeated, and the new testament was written. As we know Jesus died for our sins, he took all the worlds sin for us and beat the devil. Taking the keys to death and rising as a king! As jesus said in John 14 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Wow what a statement, whatsoever ye shall ask, in the name of the king of kings our savior Jesus Christ. And greater works than Jesus? Lets read that in NIV 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. So not only can greater works be done but Jesus said will do showing we as Christians are expected to do these works. Wow! Glory to God 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. And what comforter is he referring to here? The Holy Spirit! The power of the Lord! The same spirit that raised the dead, the spirit of God that lives inside every born again Christian… as it says in Romans 8 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. In Matthew 5:6 it says let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven. As children we were all asked what we wanted to be when we grow up, and some of us through our lives, what about who you already are! A child of The most high, and what is your purpose here, to build the kingdom of our lord on earth! To be the light of the world and to show the lost the wonderful life in Christ Oh hallelujah praise the lord
  14. Praise the Lord, hallelujah! Praise You, God, for your purity and perfection! Praise You Lord, Jesus Christ, for saving me and my testimony! Glory be to You, God, our Father who art in Heaven! Thanks be to the Holy Spirit's comfort, teaching and guidance! All we know, understand, experience and struggle with is for your glory, perfect plan and unquestionable will. I shall not want or crave anything outside of Jesus Christ's way. Let me know if so, let me understand what You want for us is best. May I pick up and carry my own cross, denying myself for You. I worship You as all knowing, powerful and gracious. May I draw closer to You and keep You as top priority in my family's lives. You are first, my family is second and I am here to serve. May I serve you reverently, fully and completely. May there be less of me and more of Jesus Christ instead. Jesus, You are thee only way, light and salvation. All I need is You. God, You take care of the rest. You are in control, God, making and letting everything happen. I am in awe and wonder of your creation. I am eternally grateful, worshipping You and your Son for thee ultimate sacrifice and act of love. This body is your temple, use it as You will. Bend me from my will to yours. It is all about You, everything concerns and relates to You! Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, in Jesus Christ's name, amen! Sincerely yours, GregoryB

  16. Ephesians 6:16,17 - "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God". Some are willing to spend hours in prayer asking for a miracle instead of planting the Word of God in their hearts, which in time would produce the miracle. Prayer is what water and fertilizer are to a seed. They help the Word release its life. But if you haven't planted the seed, it doesn't matter how much water and fertilizer you apply, the soil still won't produce fruit. It's the seed that has life! Affirmations: I CONFESS THAT I WEAR MY SALVATION TIGHTLY AROUND MY MIND LIKE A HELMET. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW HARD THE DEVIL TRIES TO HACK AWAY AT MY MIND, I STILL STAND STRONG BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT JESUS' DEATH AND RESURRECTION PURCHASED FOR ME! Hebrews 4:1 = "Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it." "What is rest? -- It is abandoning the need to control -- The worries whichincite you to control keep you from resting. When you try to make everything happen your way, you have no rest. The worries which make you doubt other people multiply in your imagination as you think about all the things they might do wrong. Even when you curtail your activities, you find no rest when you worry. Resting is not a matter of physical stillness; it is peace in the inmost being, which comes from trusting Him with all your circumstances. Change the way you think in life-giving ways. It won't work if you do it on a performance basis because it's a lifestyle change. Think of it as changing your style to receive life – a lifestyle. You're not at the mercy of your emotions; your emotions are subject to your righteousness. You are a righteous person. (2 Corinthians 5:21). You can do this. Learning to rest is a process. Pick one thing that you struggle with and make an effort to commit it to Him. Then, whenever you find yourself failing to do that, recommit it to Him with greater fervor. Gain one victory like that and the others will become simpler.Hebrews 4:3,11 - "For we which have believed do enter into rest...Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest...." Song of Solomon 1:2 - "Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth." Observation: GOD UNITES HIMSELF WITH MY SPIRIT, AND I AM ABLE TO BEGIN TO EXPLORE THE FULLNESS OF GOD. THE JOURNEY TOWARD THIS COMPLETE UNION IS A PLACE WHERE MY SPIRIT IS COMPLETELY POSSESSED BY GOD. CONSIDER THAT JESUS IS CALLED "THE WORD." THE "KISSES OF HIS MOUTH" IS NOTHING LESS THAN THE VITAL COMMUNICATION OF THE WORD OF GOD TO ME. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com

  18. Psalm 139:23,24 - "Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my anxious thoughts and see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way." Observation: THE ENEMIES WHICH DEFEAT ME ARE HIDDEN AND LATENT WITHIN ME. THE HOLY SPIRIT MUST EXPOSE MY FOES BEFORE I CAN CONQUER THEM! AM I TOO PROUD OR TOO INSECURE TO ADMIT I NEED HELP? John 10:10 - "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The Holy Spirit, the Helper, is ready to give out gifts and is giving out gifts to those who are ASKING, KNOCKING, and SEEKING and BELIEVING that God will do what He says He will do. Divine increase abounds right and left. Curses will be broken and blessings of God will be released. AFFIRMATIONS: I CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS COME THAT I MIGHT HAVE, KEEP, AND CONSTANTLY RETAIN A VITALITY, GUSTO, VIGOR, AND ZEST FOR LIVING THAT SPRINGS UP FROM DEEP DOWN INSIDE ME. IM TAKING MY EYES OFF THE LOW ROAD, AND I'M HEADED FOR THE HIGH ROAD OF BLESSING GOD HAS PLANNED FOR ME! "But You are holy, O You Who dwell in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered]." - Psalm 22:3 AMP God wants you tuned-in to His frequency, as you allow His bright glory cloud of light to envelop your life. Ask yourself these questions: What is the consistency of your praise to God? How easy is it for you to praise God? Where is your level of praise? Do you have a hard time voicing praise to God? Are you subdued under heaviness? God "inhabits" the praises of His people. If you are not praising and giving thanks to God, then there is no praise to be inhabited. God's presence is true substance and life. Give God some praise to inhabit! Create a steady diet of praise in your life. Our voice, like a sword, is to decree and manifest His Kingdom and will in the earth. Because of this, there is always an attack on your ability to praise, prophesy and release God's presence through your voice. God is wanting to invade theearth through your voice! 19. Matthew 3:11 - "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire." OH, HOLY SPIRIT....OH, FIRE! THAT SO INTIMATELY AND TENDERLY PENETRATES THE FIBRE AND CORE OF MY SOUL.....CLEANSE ME, BURN IN ME, WITH YOUR PASSION FOR CHRIST! John 5:44 - "How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another, and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God?" We need to decide if we are going to let all of the previous wounds and disappointments determine who we are, or if we are going to be like Christ, using the Cross to determine who we are, seizing the occasion to die to ourselves and rise above this world and live in resurrection power. We cannot be resurrected unless we have first died. Observation: I KNOW I AM RELATING CORRECTLY TO GOD WHEN MY HUNGER FOR HIS GLORY CAUSES ME TO FORSAKE THE PRAISE OF MEN. "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place." - 2 Corinthians 2:14 God lives among the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). As we praise God we sense His presence and in His presence there is fullness of joy. Praise is a powerful spiritual weapon as it changes the atmosphere around us. In the Scriptures we read how the walls of Jericho came crashing down, giving victory to God's people due to the Israelites releasing shouts of praise(Joshua 6:20). In Acts 16:25-26, we read that the prison doors shook open when Paul and Silas prayed and praised God. Praise lifts our eyes from the battle to the victory, for Christ has already won the victory. We are more thanconquerors in Christ Jesus. It is the will of God for us to rejoice in Him no matter what comes. As we rejoice in God, we release joy to others. Rest in Him and praise Him in the storm. He is the God of the impossible and He is working all things for your good. Join your heart toHis and allow His love to give you strength. "You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever." - Psalm 16:11 "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." - John 16:33 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. So many broken hearts walking Down the Boulevard of forgotten Dreams, The homeless search for food to eat While God is humbling the meek, No wonder God's heart cries for Justice Where doctors and witches pursue wickedness.... Lord, while we yell and throw our fists in the sky in demand, Asking you "Why are you not doing anything about this?" While the eyes of the unbelievers are always upon us... Broken Daughters and Sons Thirst for Revival as we slam doors At those who love us more than our own Blood Families.... Help us not to grieve the Holy Spirit- If cobwebs and antidepressants clog our rooms, What air is there left to breathe?
  21. 2 Timothy 2:20 - "In a large house there are dishes and bowls of all kinds: some are made of silver and gold, others of wood and clay: some are for special occasions, others for ordinary use."CERTAINLY THERE ARE GOING TO BE SOME GOLDEN VESSELS IN THE KINGDOM AND THERE ARE GOING TO BE SOME CLAY POTS, BUT WE ARE THE ONES - NOT GOD - WHO DETERMINES WHICH KIND WE WILL BE. 2 Timothy 2:21 - 'If anyone makes himself clean from all these evil things, he will be used for special purposes, because he is dedicated and useful to his Master, ready to be used for every good work." 2 Kings 6:17 - "And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha." In spiritual warfare, the battle is never limited to an "us against them" human affair. It always includes "those with us" against "those with them." Do you want to cultivate your spiritual mind? Then immerse yourself in God's Word (Psalm 119:9). Pray for revelation and ask the Spirit of God to open your eyes to behold awesome things from heavenly realms. There is nothing wrong with intellectual knowledge and pursuit. God gave us our mind and expects us to use it. However, we should never depend upon mere human intellectual wisdom to advance us in the realm of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13). Mark 11:23 - "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." Because great power is released when my heart and mouth start working together, it's extremely important that I put the right things into my heart. OBSERVATION: Once I find the will of God in a situation I will know how to pray. If I need a mountain moved out of my life, I believe God with my heart and speak it out with my mouth. AFFIRMATIONS: Jesus came that I might have life and that I might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) I shall have whatsoever things that I desire when Ipray, since I believe that I receive them.(Mark 11:24) Seeing that I have a great high priest that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, I hold fast to my confession. 22. O that God would stir our hearts with passion; that we would encounter Him with such abandon, that we could all say: "God, I'm as hungry for You today as I was at any other time in my life!" Psalms 42:1-2, "As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?" Panting! Thirsting! But thirsting for what? The answer is here: "When shall I come and appear before God?" It's not about us appearing before people. It's about us appearing before God. Revelation 2:4, 5a" --"Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works." "You have left your first love." We can all think of those days when we were hungrier and more radical for God, devouring our Bible every day. Maybe it was in those first few months that we were a Christian. But now, because of some hard trials, valleys, and disappointments, we realize that we're still walking with God, still reading the Bible and going to church, but there's something missing. Jesus Christ is challenging us, so let's be honest. We need to FALL IN LOVE WITH JESUS AGAIN--revisit First Love. REPENT AND DO THE FIRST WORKS There's something about when we begin to remember and allow the Holy Spirit to move in the imagination, taking us back to the greatest times of God's power coming in our lives. It's important to remember those times when we were really hungry. The problem is, sometimes we just accept being lukewarm as normal, and our attitude is: "I've grown up in the church, and I'm a Christian. I don't need to be all that zealous anymore." But Jesus said to "Remember therefore from where you have fallen," and then He goes on to say, "Repent and do the first works." There are times when Christians get so hopeless and disappointed -- so discouraged. TAKE HOLD OF GOD AFRESH If there is luke-warmness, you have to take responsibility for it. It's not always the church's fault. You've got to STIR YOURSELF UP to take hold of God, go to the well yourself, and go to the river of God yourself. You need to say, "I don't just want to go to where the blessing is, I want to be the blessing. I don't just want to go to the revival, I want to carry the revival. I want to be what starts the revival!" We've got to be at a place where we stop and say, "Soul, what are you doing, and why are you so complacent? I've got to remember from where I have fallen. I've got to get back that love and that passion and that fire; I've got to get it back! I've got to repent and do the first works! Something's wrong here. I'm not going to stay here anymore murmuring and going around this mountain. I am going to do something about it!" ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  23. At the exact point of salvation, YOU were GIVEN all the POWER and AUTHORITY of God you will ever need to contend with and resist, triumphing over the forces of darkness to defeat them with the power of the CROSS...you don't have to waste time trying work it up in your flesh...YOU ALREADY HAVE the ability to stomp out the devil and his minions through Jesus' death and resurrection...The Gospel of Grace!!! When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the cross. Colossians 2:14-16 AMP The devil would love to see your destruction. This scripture is a big truth to some of you...satan does NOT want you to know how to use the Gospel message to defeat him...He wants to run you over and ship you to the wrecking yard. He wants to beat you up and hurt you to the point that you do not care anymore about being a Christian. The enemy of your soul wants you to blame God, and thus live miserable, defeated and useless in the Kingdom of Light. How do I know this? For one, I experienced it first hand...all this I write about is not in vain, I want to HELP YOU not to take the same path I did. I have had several mental breakdowns since 1986....I had to learn the hard way....satan only thought I would take my life.... The word says that the devil's scheme is to steal, kill and destroy. The word say he is our enemy, that doesn't want us to wake up to the truth and never sober up to the truth that is plainly inspired by the Holy Spirit in the Bible. I wish I had been able to read something like this in 1982 when I gave my soul to Jesus. I just could not see it within MYSELF. It doesnt come from your body..you are not superman of the soul....It all comes from your spiritman, you have to put to death the deeds of flesh....and, for your information just because you dont feel it doesnt mean it isn't there!!!Maybe you are young in the Lord and going through this same ordeal....if so, you must wake up and fight the fight because satan's intent is to kill your soul.... Satan becomes YOUR lifelong enemy when you are born again, and NOT YOUR BUDDY!!! He doesn't want you to find or figure out that the victorious freedom in the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit is inside you!!! He wants to be your friend alright.... HE wants to use you to his advantage I did not know that. HE wants to use you to bring others down into the gutter... Somehow I thought that everything would be like walking through a bed of roses. I thought it would be easy to live like there is no tomorrow. I thought I could live like I wanted and go to church (or not go to church) and everything would be okay. I was very naive and did not know these things that are very important in the life of a victorious Spirit-led believer.... Satan does NOT care, he unleashes his hounds of hell upon you to get you to end it all. and He would make me think that he could run over and bully me into whatever he wanted to do. I did not know any better. Do you know any better after reading this post? I really hope and pray that these words make some impact on your walk in Christ...The enemy of your soul wants you to stay ignorant of His schemes to turn you away from the Cross. We were given all the armor at the point of salvation...we need to be proactive in our walk in Christ and stand firm against the forces that would like to drag you through the dirt. In Jesus' death and resurrection, we were given everything we will ever need in fighting the forces of darkness. We are equipped with all our weapons of war to stop the enemies in his tracks. All the armor you need is at the Cross, Jesus is standing there waiting to suit you up. Every piece of His armor has tracings of the Cross in it....from your head to your feet. 10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. 11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. 13 Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. 14 So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), 15 and having [c]strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]. 16 Above all, lift up the [protective] [d]shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. 18 With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all [e]God’s people. 19 And pray for me, that words may be given to me when I open my mouth, to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news [of salvation], 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. And pray that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly and courageously, as I should. Ephesians 6:10-20
  24. Matthew 17:4 - "Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah." Peter wanted to come up with a program to organize what God was doing; but God would have us to forsake our various programs and gimmicks and, instead, simply listen to Jesus. The same glory is just as close to us as it was to Peter -- as is the same instance to revert to dead works in spite of who we have seen. Matthew 17:5 - "While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him." Deuteronomy 28:1 - " If you will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth." Affirmation: I MAKE A QUALITY DECISION TO DILIGENTLY LINE UP WITH GOD'S WORD SO I CAN RELEASE THE BLESSINGS OF GOD INTO THE EARTH. "If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land." - Isaiah 1:19 This opportunity is given to all who are saved, but not everyone is willing to adjust to a "diet" that is conducive to spiritual growth. Therefore, Jesus said, "For many are called, but few are chosen" (Matthew 22:14). In other words, "Few will pay the price in order to be chosen." This process of qualifying begins after we have received the gift of salvation, which has been freely provided for us by Jesus upon Calvary's Cross. Philippians 3:14 - "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Observation: AFTER LEAVING EGYPT, ALL THE EXPERIENCES THAT ISRAEL WENT THROUGH WERE TO PREPARE THEM FOR THE HIGH CALLING OF REPRESENTING THE LORD ON EARTH. I TOO HAVE BEEN GIVEN THIS HIGHEST OF CALLINGS, AND EVERYTHING I GO THROUGH IS INTENDED TO PREPARE ME FOR IT. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  25. "Oh, my soul, my soul! I am pained in my very heart! My heart makes a noise in me, that I cannot hold my peace, because you have heard, 'O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.'" Jeremiah 4:19 The Holy Spirit within us wants to use us to properly do battle against the enemy. However, we must remember, "...the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty THROUGH GOD for pulling down of strongholds." 2 Corinthians 10:4 We must allow the Holy Spirit the "right of way" to take it over and to direct it. We must turn TO it and not from it. We must not be ashamed of the WEEPING that He desires to cry out through us! "...Today if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts...." Hebrews 3:7-8 SO WHAT DO WE DO WITH THIS WEEPING? We need to ALLOW the Holy Spirit to cry, to pray through us when this unction comes upon us, and to NOT "shut it down." Additionally, don't worry about the "words" you will pray.... Romans 8:26-27, "...the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God." As we allow the weeping unction of the Holy Spirit to cry out through us, we will be praying for the things for which the Spirit within us is weeping, in the way the Lord wants it prayed about, and in the will of the Lord for the outcome. Romans 8:28, "And (then) we know that all things (will) work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." PRAY IT THROUGH When those tears and/or deep groanings come, LET them! Don't stop it! Be led by the Holy Spirit. And understand that even if you don't have your prayer language, you are still His Sheep, and you can still hear and obey the voice of the Lord, and be directed to pray according to the will of God. In whatever way He desires for you to pray, "pray it through!" Until you have a "release" or a sensing of peace that it has been "taken care of." Don't be concerned about "words!" It may be that you will experience tears and/or groanings alone. Also, we don't need to be embarrassed by tears (ours or others) if they begin to flow. We just need to "let go and let God!" And let's not "fake it" or get loud to get attention. Weeping may very well and most likely occur when we are all alone. Let's just allow the Holy Spirit total access to and through us, to be led by Him, for His purposes to be accomplished when and how He causes that unction to come. It is a time to let the "rain" of the Holy Spirit "reign!" To let Him cry out through us for souls and for mercy! In this time when so many have serious needs, let us heed the voice of the Spirit to "pray it through." Revelation 2:11, "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches..."
