  1. How, Then, Shall We Live? (Luke 22:31-38) Our job in this life is to serve the Lord - Love Him, Obey Him Practically, we should be telling others about Jesus, - the Gospel We should be doing his will - part of that if becoming familiar with His will. That involves a life of reading His word - the clearest way to hear his voice, and we should be praying, talking to God. We cannot have much or a relationship without two way communication. We need to love others. We do that by encouraging them, enjoying their company, and generally doing things that are beneficial to them. We need to live holy lives. That means that we need to live lives that are different from the world at large. That might be the hardest part for us. The world has so much to offer us, some of it is good. God gives us good things. He loves the world enough to give them good things. Not everyone is thankful for what they have, that is one of the things that should make us different, that we are thankful to our Source, to He who is our Provider. We should be having fellowship with other believers, encouraging them, being encouraged by them, helping them, and being helped by them. Hanging out with other people, alters our character, that is something we need to be careful about. We tend to imitate the behaviors of those we hang out with. We can be tempted to act like them, talk like them, and in general, do what they do. For this reason, we should cultivate an awareness that as believers, Jesus is with us also. Before we act, before we speak, we should try to me mindful of Jesus' presence, and act like Him, more than we act like our friends. If we want to act like our friends, we should act like the ones who act the most like Jesus. What to our friends say? Do they say spiritual things, or does filth and bitterness come out of their mouths? What do we and they do for fun? Do we go bar hoping? Do we go to movies, that depict a lot of worldly behavior, or do we do things that we would do with Jesus as our guest? Do we eat to the glory of God, or do we pig out on junk food, valueing pleasure more than nutrition that shows that we care for the bodies we have, God's temple? I am resolving to attemp to improve my life. Changing some of my habits, developing some new ones. I'd like to hear some ideas that you have, in general terms or even in specific ways, on how we might improve ourselves (with God's help of course, without Him, we can do nothing). This need not be a confessional, and I do not suspect that everyone will be looking forward to admit their short commings, nor commit to improvements they may not keep. Rather, I hope to see people offering suggestions, and people recognizing some of the areas they could improve in their lives, and was all can join in in the atc of praying for each other, in our own time, our own hearts, and in our own ways, knowing that God hears our prayers, and grants them when they are in His will.
  2. It was colder this morning. Glad I put an extra blanket on the bed. Turned the gas heater in the hall on when I got up to answer the call of nature, and went straight back to bed. Slept in again, a good few hours until the phone went. "I know you're not an early riser," my friend on the phone said, "so I didn't call first thing." No problem, it was time I got up and cooked myself some eggs and hash browns for breakfast. The day went well, another friend is on the mend after a rather bad cold and dose of something, this I learned after texting his boarder and having our prayers answered gladdens us. It was a sunny winter day and I've tasked myself with building a stacker tower from aluminium to put my organisers in. These contain the small fasteners, fittings, and knick-knacks I use and currently I have to lift the top trays off to get to the one's underneath, so I've scored some unwanted aluminium sheets from a brother-in-Christ and today I managed to put the saw through the last three cuts I had marked out and now it's ready to be assembled all bar the 36 hex-bolts I'll have to buy. We had an absolutely wonderful day of fellowship here at home last Saturday. The ekklesia began arriving at 10 am and we shared the Word of God and enjoyed good food, and of course celebrated the Lord's Supper. We were all edified and comforted as we yeilded to the Holy Spirit's leading. My wife had baked muffins which were excellent, as was the whole day of fellowship in faith towards God. It's 9.53pm Tuesday night now, too early to log off Worthy, and if I get into something that keeps me up late, no problem, I'll just sleep in late tomorrow. Happy Days. Col 1:9-14 (9) On account of this we also, since the day we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; (10) that you should walk worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit and increasing in the full knowledge of God; (11) being strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, for all endurance and longsuffering with joy; (12) giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light. (13) He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, (14) in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
  3. ..URGENT RFID CHIP MESSAGE & CRISIS INFORMATION: ..AUSTRALIAN JWS/CHRISTIANS CALL LAST AMERICAN CHRISTIANS TO COME QUICK If you live in America & you believe Jesus is your Lord & saviour, then Australia calls you come flock with us now, so that we in our numbers might outlaw the RFID chip otherwise due to be manditory to you late March 2013, & boycot America - which is not your home any more. "Do not think of yourself more highly than you should. Instead be modest." Romans 12:3. You are supposed to follow the laws of your government After the word of God. It is what those of your whereabouts pray 4 , & to disobay makes 1 vagabond there. Also weather for or against RFID, to remain 1 would be effectively prayer for it too, & that it will take over the world, ..as losing you, the last American Christian, we could find ourselves outnumbered just the same as you are now, & to our peril aswell. Do you see how important it is you come now? Do not fight your government, but as the bible suggests please be ready. Move for Christ our Lord his blood, leave what ties tie you, & do not look back for any1, it is not the time, & without waiting & ths making of excuses, Hurry. Let the whole world see@ that Jehovah Is the kingdom , the power & the glory forever & ever. i now insist. that Australian Christians not see American Christians as American anymore, but fighting & vagabond in a place they don't understand to leave, or that sorrow only will create more sorrow. Or that they be sitting on a very unsound fence. Help them. INVITE them, 5 per every person so they might come in numbers to fill & shield this place, as no name of who accept in them the mark controlling buying&selling are found in the book of life. *bows head & lays hands on Australia & America, praying* .Dear Heavenly Father Jehovah? Please send your angels to guide and watch over us, and keep us safe & off the path of who with holes in their reasonings know not what they do. In Jesus Holy name, Amen.
