  1. Melchizedek was the man who Abraham paid homage to at the end of his battles. it was later this Melchizedek who visited Abraham at his tent who prophesied Isaacs birth to them and condemned Sodom. at this time he was simply referred to as Lord.. it was this Melchizedek that later wrestled Jacob and went out with the Israelites during the exodus as the angel of the Lord. Hebrews goes into length at explaining that he was both priest and king and had no genealogy. he later appeared to Gideon and Samson's parents

  3. Shalom beloved brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, our merciful Lord and Savior, my name is Grzegorz, I'm 21 years old, from Poland, I was born in strict religious Roman Catholic family, and almost my entire life, I was following it. But since around 2017 I'm born again christian, I believe God has led me out of the darkness into the beautiful light of His everlasting mercy, I'm not identifying myself as catholic anymore, I love Jesus and I want to follow Him and fulfill His will. Holy is the Lord, God Almighty, the earth is filled with His glory. I love you all and I'm happy I can share a bit of myself here, if you wanna know more about myself or just chat, hit me with message :) May Almighty God of Israel, bless you with endless love and happiness, and lead you to His everlasting Kingdom. Peace and love ❤️
  4. Daily Reading 23 If you prefer, you can look up the following verses in your own Bible, of by whatever means and in whatever version you choose. Luke 18:1-17 Genesis 29:31-30:43 Psalm 23 Audio 5:27 Audio 9:~ Audio 0:53 The above addresses are linked to Bible Gateway. That is an easy way to read (or listen to) the Bible verses, and choose your version. Personally, I prefer written, that way I can go at my own pace, on think about it, before moving on. Nothing wrong with doing either or both. The Bible says faith comes by hearing. See the picture below to get an idea of what to expect if you follow the above links. Thank you Lord for making the your word so accessible for us in these times. Amen
  5. I wanted to add the following. When I got saved, I remember (all this if my memory serves me correctly) having a Janny Grein songbook, and I also remember a reference to a young man associated with Janny and Bill Grein who had put music to this Psalm. I can't remember whether there was a second verse, but I remember the tune and words: Give ear to my words, Oh Lord Consider my meditation Harken unto the voice of my cry My King and my God For unto Thee will I pray My voice shalt Thou hear in the morning Oh, Lord, in the morning Will I direct my prayer Until Thee and will look up. Does anyone else here know the tune and sing these verses as well? I love singing this song.
  6. Sense God’s Peace To peace as my mind’s chatter becomes numb. … From dumb ones’ mindless matters. It is all up to He to set my brain free- Becoming less flesh; naughty body! God’s Spirit breaks free past chains misery, Drowning in sorrow, sin pained. Let me again pray for you, friend, Replacing my rant on the mend. In the Lord I place you to soothe stress gone through. Now on this new page I will write Christ answers for you. He’s how I got through Healed, restored full; reborn new. I thought that you knew [all In the mind true] Whom Calms stormy seas. He Makes us all be Still, sensed God’s Word peacefully. ~ Sense God’s Peace ~ 2018 ~ Gregory KJ Brumwell 11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. ~ 2 Corinthians 13:11 (NIV) 19 lines #MindOfGod #JesusChrist #Sin #Peace
  7. Prayer Time Travel - The Holy Bible records time. The Bible has a beginning to end, Genesis to Revelation. God is outside time. He has no beginning or end. We have a beginning with no end. We start in time, then escape it, get outside it with no end. Many prayers are throughout the Holy Bible affecting past, present and future, from whoever's perspective. Jesus Christ is! God is the great "I am," not was nor will be. Jesus prays for all believers. 20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. - John 17:20-21 New International Version (NIV) Revelation in the Bible affects the past to us now and beyond to the beginning of time, Genesis. A prayer in my future affects me and my now and even my past. My prayer now about my past affects my future. I am affected by my past, present and future, now. I am not an isolated silo. We cause ripple effects, everything affects everything, everything matters. Christ's life giving water is thee all encompassing most important matter. I lost my wallet. I decided not to fear or worry. I accepted it and let it go. Eventually I decided to pray about it, relatively long after the fact. Later, a policeman called for me to come get it from him. It had been been discovered moments after I lost it and immediately turned in. A beat cop had happened to be there. The officer had been swamped with work, so had notified and met with me a week later, having been so busy. That was my time traveling prayer eureka moment. At the time, my prayer was only to help process, comfort and put the whole matter in God's hands, whatever His will. I was happy with it and had left it at that. Yay and hallelujah, yet another reason for prayer! Now I realized and believed my prayer had actually traveled back in time. God's reach and power is anywhere anytime. He answered my prayer by changing my past, my reality and my future. What was lost was now found in time. December 18, 2016, I prayed a short, simple to the point prayer. I met and surrendered to Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. What I prayed then and there took effect in the past on the cross at Calvary. Jesus Christ was sacrificed for me and my sin debt. That past was affected by prayer in its future. That present took effect in the past and affected the future until the end of time. Then, now and then, I pray in Jesus Christ's name, amen. 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. - John 1:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
  8. I read the entire "Christian's going to hell" thread and was about to jump in with my own reply. I did not realize the limitations of this forum section. I suppose that is fine. I got a lot out of what was discussed but still struggle with some of it. I get all the points of views, proof, beliefs and such. I am not trying to call out or trap anyone. I am a baby Christian and have honest questions for clarification. I pray we can all come to an agreement on God's word and truth. I was hoping we could base the discussion on Matthew 25 ( https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=matthew+25&version=NIV ) and how it related to the thread I could not jump in on. My question is this. Does Matthew 25 add or take away from any and all posts made there by *everyone*? I have more specific questions too. The ten virgins for starters, do they not represent Christians covered in the blood of Jesus? I am not clear on the oil in their lamps as well. I suppose it could relate to my above general question. I am wrestling with all this. I believe I am a born again Christian. I have faith in my salvation. I am concerned about others I care for and love. I will elaborate and add more enquiries as this thread develops. May opportunities open to know and understand the Holy Trinity better. Be well, content and helpful in the Lord.
  9. Open Letter to Rock Bottom Dear Down in the Dumps, You are not in a nice place to visit or indefinitely live. I know, I have been there too many times. Since then I have burned my passport and remain grounded, gladly. The local authorities and citizens do not understand my alien presence. They cannot keep this message out. I will explain later. You will not complain sooner. Listen, look and warm yourself up to light versus darkness. Defect from that infected wasteland. Walk this way for freedom! Before I believed in anything worth mentioning, I desperately decided to buy into "Allen Carr's 'Easy Way to Stop Smoking.'" Heck, he wrote I could even smoke as I read the book! I took a leap of faith out the hole of butts and ash. I actually enjoyed and laughed at old cues to spark a dart. Nic fits were only a fading memory of how and what I used to be like. I had been deprogrammed from doom and reprogrammed for life. Thank goodness, because all drags from cigarettes had become depressing slave wage reminders of death. I could not prove or understand it but I believed it had worked, setting me free. I see that now was a good sign, open door and ray of hope. Major problems had potential solutions. I believed things could be better. Before I met and surrendered to Jesus Christ, I waged war with myself and the world. I abused my being with alcohol, marijuana and drug experimentation. I sat much of my life in front of a screen playing questionable games. I cheated on God, my future wife and myself with pornography and masturbation. I was living the bad dream of a wicked party scene. My heart had holes, my mind was free for the taking, my body was in ruin and my soul was lost and bound. Mental health issues coincided with the start of all of the above. By my fourth psychiatric ward stay I actually enjoyed doing my time and running the show. Pride, lust, anger, gluttony and slothfulness as deadly sins were aiming to win. It was either end up a casualty of spiritual warfare or be saved by divine intervention. Enter my Saviour, Lord, teacher and protector. I read the Bible out of curiousity. I thought I should for its major influence on the world and world view. Believing and in it does not change that in any case. Tragedy struck when my parents' dog died in my arms. What I was doing with my life and would come after hit me hard. God had spoken, my deaf ears had been opened. I quit pot on the spot. I mourned Baloo's death and a life I was not getting. I compensated by binge drinking. I started getting drunk in the morning. I was listening to Harvesters FM, a Christian radio station constantly. They suggested AA, Alcoholics Anonymous. I went and got on the sober wagon. Gaming got the boot. Pornography and masturbation were confessed, apologized for, repented from and rebuked. All of the above related to asking Jesus Christ into my heart and life through a simple, sincere to the point prayer. The Bible was now more than history and what Christianity was based on. It was God's word speaking to me, changing my life for His pure glory, perfect plan and purpose. Not the story of my life, but Jesus Christ's death for the church as his wife. It is thee book that's truth never changes as always relevant. Now I am part of the book of life, hallelujah! Not the end, Gregory Keith Jonathan Brumwell 2018 Testimony Saved by Jesus Christ as of December 18, 2016, GKJB-1973 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. - John 3:11 New International Version (NIV) 31 “If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true. - John 5:31 New International Version (NIV) 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. - John 1:7 New International Version (NIV)
  10. While in the world there are many people who are looking for excuses not to please the Lord, we as Christians, disciples of Jesus, the light of the world, must follow the opposite direction. Why?! Because we love Him. The first step to please the Lord is to have faith. To have faith is to believe in something we are not seeing. And without faith it is impossible to please Him. "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." - Hebrews 11:6 The first act of faith any Christian should do is to repent and accept from the heart the Gospel of the Lord Jesus. Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time. For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed. --- 1 Corinthians 15:1 And consequently, receive and embrace the Holy Spirit who is given to all believers. "Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him." - John 14:23 "Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." - Acts 2:38 "and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again." - 2 Corinthians 5:15 "For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." - Matthew 26:28 Then, without this faith, it will be impossible for you to please the Lord. "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God." - Romans 8:7-8 After you did your first act of faith, now your daily relationship with the Lord will require faith as well, as it is written: "Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him." - Hebrews 10:38 1.Prayer Our focus should be in becoming like the Lord Jesus, seeking what we need everyday. In our walk we will find obstacles, traps, and great opportunities to learn as well. Acknowledgment, repentance, and forgiveness of our failures and mistakes, whenever it occurs, this pleases the Lord. "But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”" - Matthew 9:13 Then it is very important to keep praying daily, and whenever needed. "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God." - Romans 8:26-27 But how to pray?! "And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words." - Matthew 6:7 2.Watch The enemy will always be there waiting for the first opportunity to get you out of the faith. Because he knows that your faith is powerful and the Lord hears you whenever you call Him. Then to watch against and abstain from every form of evil is very important. Did you see anything evil? Rebuke it in Jesus' name. Do not accept any shadow of evil in your heart. A clean and pure heart is what pleases the Lord. "Abstain from every form of evil." - 1 Thessalonians 5:22 3.Bible reading with the guidance of the Holy Spirit Do not underestimate this one, it is very powerful, the Lord can teach and reveal you amazing things just by reading His Word in faith. Always pray before reading, believing that He will guide you in all truth and reveal what you need according to His will. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." - James 1:5 And believe, and practice whenever possible what you have learned... This pleases the Lord! "But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”" - Luke 11:28 4.Ask, seek, knock This is one of the things many Christians just forget, and it is so powerful because: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." - Matthew 7:7-8 The Lord knows of everything you need, even before you ask Him. "Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him." - Matthew 6:8 Then why should I ask Him? Because it requires faith to ask, to seek, and to knock... And as you already know: without faith it is impossible to please Him. And the Lord hears and receives your prayers with joy, He likes so much to hear every of your prayers done in faith and love. To ask, to seek, to knock... whenever you need anything... pleases the Lord. And ask what you really need, and what will please the Lord. "You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures." - James 4:3 How do I know if what I am going to ask will please the Lord?! Again: Faith. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. You are now one spirit with the Lord, then you can know what will please Him. "But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." - 1 Corinthians 6:17 "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." - Galatians 5:25 5.Walk in the Spirit This should be obvious, but many Christians seem to underestimate this one by hearing and obeying the desires of their flesh, or others opinion. What pleases the Lord is to walk in His Spirit daily, 24/7, non-stop. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." - Galatians 5:22-23 To walk in the Spirit, this pleases the Lord. There's nothing good in our flesh, then why should we hear it? "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." - John 6:63 The flesh is to be burned, not to be heard. Then seek to kill your flesh daily, by the Spirit. "Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." - Galatians 5:19-21 And no one can be happy while practicing those things, they will just bring more problems to your life. For your own benefit: Do not listen to the flesh. It will kill you. "For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live." - Romans 8:13 Then rebuke and burn your flesh daily in Jesus' name. Burn it until its fully carbonized, and then make powder, and crush it, then burn it again! Rebuke the flesh. This pleases the Lord. 6.Do not worry or complain Will worries and complaints fix your problems?! No, not at all. Because if any of these two really solved anything... Then this world would have no problems as it is full of them. To worry is a sign of lack of faith, then your problem start getting bigger when it actually is much smaller. And a new problem begins when you start believing the problem is bigger than the power of the Lord. May the Lord have mercy! "Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?" - Matthew 6:30 "And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?" - Luke 12:25 Truth is: to worry will not solve my problem, then why should I worry?! And complaints should be avoided completely... It is a sign of rebellion. "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king." - 1 Samuel 15:23 Truth is: to worry or to complain will not solve your problems. They can just make it much worse. If no worries nor complaints will solve my problems, then what should I do?! "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:6-7 7.Love A special attention to this one, as it really deserves... And still so many are lacking. "And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." - 1 Corinthians 13:2 Love your brothers and sisters, neighbors, enemies, and friends... And finally: the Lord, your God. Because if you cannot love your brothers and sisters who you are seeing, then how do you want to love the Lord Jesus as you are not seeing Him?! "If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?" - 1 John 4:20 And how do you say: I love the Lord. And start complaining and questioning His existence whenever a bad thing happens?! If you really love Him, then please: Just give thanks, and believe things will get better. Because you must know the Lord always wants your best, and not your destruction. Now, go and do likewise: Offer the best to Him. "casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:7 8.Perseverance All the things listed above constantly working in our lives, through love. "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love." - Galatians 5:6 With perseverance, hoping the Lord can visit you at any time. Seeking to please Him daily, at easy and hard moments. "Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing." - Matthew 24:46 You love Him, to please Him is your pleasure. "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith." - 1 John 5:3-4 "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Glory to God! Amen.
  11. I was feeling different these days... Something started to say in my heart that something was not ideal. Then I started to remember how I was in the first months in my walk with Jesus. Then something lead me to think: "That person I knew from the start, it is starting to change, and to worse. Watch!" "Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another." - Mark 9:50 And I knew it was true, I was feeling indeed that my behavior was changing, and to worse. And I talk about small things, small things that make a difference. At the start some used to thank for every food, bringing knees to the ground. At the start some used to pray whenever they feel bad, crying to the Lord: "I feel bad. Lord, please help me!" At the start some used to pray before going out: "Please, Father... Protect me in your love and peace!" At the start some used to joyfully say: "I'm going out. I will show love to everyone I find in my way". At the start some were full of life, love, faith, humbleness, hope, every good thing you can imagine. Have you been declining, my friend?! I admit I am, but I am looking forward to revive all those things and much stronger than before. It is time to humble ourselves, and we can get of His grace more and more. Glory to God! The Lord says: "I miss that humble person I met with at the start. Please, come back and humble yourselves!" "And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely." - Revelation 22:17 Satan does not play, he wants to lead you to destruction, one of the first things he will try to do is to prevent that you humble yourself before the Lord. Because he knows that if the seed of pride grows root in your heart you will be easily destroyed. Then I knew, I knew something made me think: "Satan is sowing very dark things in there. I am not feeling good, something is not right indeed." Then I started to ask the Lord for help, forgiveness, and please do not let me fall in the hands of Satan. Then I started feeling better: After I finally humbled myself to the Lord. And that is exactly how anyone can start having joy in the Lord: Humble yourselves, repent, seek the Holy Spirit. "Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?" - James 4:5 And the Lord Jesus showed me the reason why so many people are still struggling with their bad and evil habits. Why?! They need to humble themselves before Him. They need to submit to Him, daily. But then you will say: But and His grace?! Don't you know that God gives grace to the humble?! Do not be deceived, God resist the proud but gives graces to the humble, as it is written: "But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”" - James 4:6 He gives us grace for us to be free of every evil and bad habit... To please Him daily, to have joy in the Holy Spirit. "for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." - Romans 14:17 Then if you really want to have joy in the Lord, humble yourselves daily. Bring all your problems to Him, repent, and ask for the forgiveness of your sins. Seek to please Him with all humbleness, and say: "Lord, Lord. I want to please you, but I need your grace. Then please, give it to me" "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." - James 4:7 "Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom." - James 4:9 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" - Luke 11:13 That is why the proud Christians who find every excuse for their evil habits are lacking in the fruits of the Holy Spirit... They have to humble themselves. The only way for them to get free is to humble themselves before the Lord. Instead of excusing, go humble yourself and cry before Him: "I do not want to be like this anymore. Have mercy and give me grace!" "But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”" - Matthew 9:13 Then, if you really want to have joy in the Lord... Start humbling yourselves before Him, and daily. "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." - James 4:8 And here is something that can be useful: https://www.worthychristianforums.com/topic/215968-overcoming-evil/ Glory to God! Amen.
  12. Praise the Lord, hallelujah! Praise You, God, for your purity and perfection! Praise You Lord, Jesus Christ, for saving me and my testimony! Glory be to You, God, our Father who art in Heaven! Thanks be to the Holy Spirit's comfort, teaching and guidance! All we know, understand, experience and struggle with is for your glory, perfect plan and unquestionable will. I shall not want or crave anything outside of Jesus Christ's way. Let me know if so, let me understand what You want for us is best. May I pick up and carry my own cross, denying myself for You. I worship You as all knowing, powerful and gracious. May I draw closer to You and keep You as top priority in my family's lives. You are first, my family is second and I am here to serve. May I serve you reverently, fully and completely. May there be less of me and more of Jesus Christ instead. Jesus, You are thee only way, light and salvation. All I need is You. God, You take care of the rest. You are in control, God, making and letting everything happen. I am in awe and wonder of your creation. I am eternally grateful, worshipping You and your Son for thee ultimate sacrifice and act of love. This body is your temple, use it as You will. Bend me from my will to yours. It is all about You, everything concerns and relates to You! Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, in Jesus Christ's name, amen! Sincerely yours, GregoryB
  13. The Meaning of [eternal] Life All it takes is a short, simple to the point prayer surrendering to Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. Be sincere and follow through. God takes care of the rest, you and every need. Remember to pray in Jesus Christ's name, for God's will. Discernment, knowledge and understanding will flow on God's time and limitless ability. Feed yourself with prayer, Christian fellowship, worship, singing praises to the Lord. Immerse yourself in the Holy Bible, God's inspired living word! The enemy will lie, deceive, trick and play all sorts of mind games in an effort to destroy you and your faith. Confess, apologize for, rebuke and repent from every single last sin committed ever. Call on the power, blood and name of Jesus Christ and be saved! Every sin has already been forgiven by God, past, present and future. His Son won over sin, death and hell. His unconditional love is true, pure and perfect. Tell your account to God with forgiveness. Make your life testimony strong. It is never too late. Christ's blood, death and resurrection paid your debt and price. You now belong to Christ, take heart. Your body is a temple. Keep trying and building on the cornerstone of Christ. God bless you and your new eternal life starting immediately, hallelujah, thanks and all glory be to God!
  14. In my case, even though I love the whole Gospel, a passage that left me particularly impressed is this: Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is not from here." What about you? Do you have memory of a passage who left a particularly strong impression on you?
  15. Daily Reading 24 If you prefer, you can look up the following verses in your own Bible, of by whatever means and in whatever version you choose. Luke 18:18-43 Genesis 31 Psalm 24 Audio 5:27 Audio 7:47 Audio 1:13 The above addresses are linked to Bible Gateway. Note: The audio will not play the exact verses, it will play the whole chapters, in which the verses exist. Thank you Lord for making the your word so accessible for us in these times. Amen
  16. How do you bring God into the little moments of your day?
  17. Before being able to walk in Christ, is it not wise to seek Christ first to find Christ so you can fully know who or what Christ is? I don´t think you can walk in Christ when you do not know who or what Christ is. I think you can only walk in Christ when you know who or what Christ is. So seek Christ first with all your heart so that you find Christ so you then can walk in Christ. Thoughts? "Seek and you shall find." - Jesus (Matthew 7:7) "You shall know the truth." - Jesus (John8:32)
  18. The Lord Will Guide Our Good Deeds To Do Good Background: I found myself wanting to help someone. Someone needed something and said they had no way of getting it. Before I knew it, I caught myself thinking “They should be able to get this for themselves, I know they have gotten things recently that they did not need and if they had not gotten these things they could get what they needed now.” But I thought to myself that it is not my place to judge their hardships, and I had faith in the Lord that he would guide my actions to do the most good possible. I also knew that he could reach out and touch their hearts and help them even more than I ever could. All too often, these worldly things can drive a wedge between our human relationships, but the Lord wants us to know that these worldly possessions mean nothing. NOTHING. If I gave away all I had in the faith of God that it was helping someone else, I should believe that he will take care of me. But I know that it is all too easy to let the things of this world, like money, stop us from doing what we know to be good, even if we have a tugging feeling in our hearts to do a good deed. Anyway, all these things were going through my mind and I wrote this down in my notebook. If you ever have a compelling feeling to do good, act upon it. Regardless how you may feel the validity of the receiver of your deed to be. If someone asks something of you, or you see someone who you feel could use some help, help them. Even if you may have doubts as to the reason that they ask your help. The Lord will deal with those who take advantage of the kindness of your Christian heart. Do not think of the world as such a corrupt place that anyone who is asking for money or help from you is lying about their circumstances. The Lord says to be kind to one another just as he is to us. We are not to judge the validity of someone’s claims. In the book of Exodus, the Pharaoh gave his word to Moses and Aaron many times that he would let the Hebrews go out of Egypt and did not let them go. But Moses and Aaron still prayed to God to stop the plagues on the Egyptians. Moses had faith in God that he would handle the Pharaoh. Just as we should have faith that the Lord will guide our kind actions to do the most good possible. The Lord will also reward us for our kind deeds, and this is not what Satan wants. He wants us to doubt our Lord and our hearts. He does not want us to spread the love and kindness of Jesus Christ and will do whatever he can to stop us. For this reason, we must have blind faith that our good deeds are truly needed. The Lord WILL make sure of this. All we have to do is believe and be kind; God will take care of the rest.
  19. Hello Everyone! I believe the Holy Spirit has led me to Worthy Christian Forums and for this reason I am very humbled. I'm very anxious to share with you whatever the Holy Spirit places on my heart. I look forward to helping someone with finding their way to Christ Jesus whom I have witnessed and would love to tell you about. I'd like to hear from you, that's why we are here. I promise we will have a wonderful time together in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever more Amen.
  20. Shalom, everyone. The phrase is “the Lord Jesus Christ.” What does that mean to you? What do these names/titles mean? Just how much do you know about in whom you say you believe? Break it down.
  21. I was in the chat room and a discussion came up, for clarity and to avoid any form of argument i was advised to bring it here... Are we sinners? Should a Christian still call himself a sinner? Are we righteous? My Opinion: Yes, we're not perfect, and yes we have no righteousness of our own... but if after the death of our lord, and after we accept him as Lord and Savior we still remain sinners... what then is the point of His death? My illustration is this, we all go to the bank, and perform normal customer transactions... but none of us will claim to be a banker except we actually work in a bank... to me, the same applies to this issue... We might one time or another fall into iniquity, when we do... we recognize our fault and repent... and turn to our father for forgiveness. My tentative conclusion is this (tentative because i am very open to corrections)... As believers, we WERE sinners, but now, we ARE not sinners... I will really like to get your view on this, thank you.
  22. Met this lady preaching at a meeting. She had messed up tendons and after a quick prayer she was pain free. After that, I found out one of her legs was shorter, so I had her sit down and let Jesus do His thing.
  23. Cease Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. Isaiah 1:4-7 The Daily Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:16-18 Drum-Roll Against Israel Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin: And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellers as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness. And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed. Isaiah 1:24-28 For They Are As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Revelation 3:19 His Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 31:20 Beloved Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 31:31-37 ~ May The LORD My God Have Mercy Upon Zion And On Her Many Many Enemies Too And May He Bless Her Children The IDF In Yeshua's Holy Holy Holy Name In The Name Of Jesus I Cry Amen~!
