  1. Are you letting patience do it's thing? James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. I'm waiting patiently for a reply, maybe some insight, or a testimony. I have to be very patient with some of the people in my life...very patient. I'm thinking James had to be, him being the brother of Jesus, same mother, different father. He wanted to keep in with the synagogue crowd, hoped they would look favourably on Jews that became Christians. Stirred folk up with his epistle. Thanks James. Praise God for the Book of James.
  2. I had no idea how the tags were going to go, so I hope it didn't cause any thoughts of being misled. While in Bible study I thought of the secular quote "the definition of insanity" who originated it and what was the full quote. Something like "repeating something and expecting a different result." I would like to know the circumstances that resulted in the quote. I need context to understand better what the originator meant. For instance was it a reference of obsessive-compulsive? But then I suppose that those of that affliction aren't attempting to get a different result. But what of the guy that invented a way to get electricity? He tried over and over with the intent of getting a different result. But that has to talking about experimentation to find what works. So now I'm back to requesting an example, either real or hypothetical. P.S. And, for some strange reason I also thought of Groundhog Day.
  3. Some Folk Easily Take Offense For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; 1 Peter 2:21-23 (New American Standard Bible) Others, Not So Much Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (English Standard Version) Beloved, What Do You Think?
  4. God Heals at the Gas Station! (Testimony) God loves to work with His children everywhere! Here is a testimony of just that; God working through His faithful servant to heal a man who was clearly in great pain at a GAS STATION of all places! How cool is that?! God is awesome! God bless you all, in Jesus' mighty name!
  5. 2 Corinthians 13:5 - "Examine yourselves, to see whether you are holding to your faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? - unless indeed you fail to meet the test!" OBSERVATION: If our Christianity does not work in this life where we can test it, it is foolhardy to hope it will successfully transport us into eternity where, if we fail the test, we suffer eternal separation from God. The test of truth is not an intellectual pursuit but whether you are drawing closer, week by week, to knowing and loving Jesus Christ. Luke 10:40-42 - "But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to Him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, 'Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."' MARY HAD SET EVERYTHING ELSE SET ASIDE, SO SHE COULD HEAR THE WORD. BUT MARTHA HAD LET THE SEEMINGLY IMPORTANT BUSINESS OF LIVING TAKE PRIORITY OVER THE WORD. Romans 8:6 - "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." Romans 8:25 - "But if we must keep trusting God for something that hasn't happened yet, it teaches us to wait patiently and confidently." There is a fresh stirring of the Lord's desire for us to become all that He would have us to be (our DESTINY). We are hearing a new message beyond anything that we have heard in the past. Our part is to be spiritually open and receptive. We become increasingly aware of the "Open Heaven" that has always been available to us, through which the "Son" can shine brightly to release the potential that is buried within us. For this to happen, we must respond with anticipation, expectancy, and patience. AFFIRMATIONS: God grants me the spirit of wisdom and understanding to fulfill the hope to which He has called me and realize the richness of His glorious inheritance in me. (Ephesians 1:17,18) I curse those things that don’t bear fruit for God in my life. (Mark 11:12) I make plans and goals to reach and fulfill the desire God has put into my heart. The Holy Spirit will correct those plans and goals to match God’s purpose for me. An uncommon dream requires uncommon patience. (Proverbs 19:21) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Numbers 11:5,6 - "We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions and the garlic: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna before our eyes." They were unsuccessful in deriving from the manna all the taste and strength they were looking for, not because the manna didn't have these but because of their craving for other foods. Similarly, if spiritual persons could raise their appetites above childish things, they would discover in spiritual food the savor of all things. \ 2 Kings 6:17 - "And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha." In spiritual warfare, the battle is never limited to an "us against them" human affair. It always includes "those with us" against "those with them." Do you want to cultivate your spiritual mind? Then immerse yourself in God's Word (Psalm 119:9). Pray for revelation and ask the Spirit of God to open your eyes to behold awesome things from heavenly realms. There is nothing wrong with intellectual knowledge and pursuit. God gave us our mind and expects us to use it. However, we should never depend upon mere human intellectual wisdom to advance us in the realm of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13). Mark 11:23 - "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." Because great power is released when my heart and mouth start working toether, it's extremely important that I put the right things into my heart. OBSERVATION:Once I find the will of God in a situation I will know how to pray. If I need a mountain moved out of my life, I believe God with my heart and speak it out with my mouth. AFFIRMATIONS:Jesus came that I might have life and that I might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) I shall have whatsoever things that I desire when I pray, since I believe that I receive them. (Mark 11:24) Seeing that I have a great high priest that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, I hold fast to my confession. (Hebrews 4:14) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. James 1:4 - "But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." The Greek word patience can be translated endurance, constancy, or being constant regardless of circumstances. Faith is dependent on patience. Patience won't let faith quit. Patience is dependent on the decision to stay on the word regardless of what gets thrown against our lives. Affirmation: VICTORY IS ALREADY MINE 1 John 4:16,17 - "And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement; because as he is, so are we in this world." God is love, and because we are one with Him, we too are love. 2 Chronicles 12:14 - And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the Lord. When satan throws temptation your way, if you are not already prepared, it's too late. You'll probable lose the fight. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. Blessings Worthy Family....... I was pondering where to pose this question, thinking it may be good as a Q & A BUT it has been put on my heart as ABSOLUTLEY POSITIVE,,,,,,,it is simply a question we should always ask ourselves ,,,,,,,,,,do we go about our daily lives with the mindset that Jesus Abides IN US,or that we can do or say whatever we want & He is not really Present? We leave the house early in the morning soon after morning prayers & Praising our Lord & we get in our car thanking the Lord for His Travelling Mercies & suddenly, without warning,,,,,,some person cuts us off on the highway and we hear very unGodly words come out of our very own mouths?????? Does that mean we forgot about Jesus, the Almighty Father we just asked to Bless us? Or does it mean we are just a "work in progress" that has to renew our minds continually? God IS our LIVING REDEEMER,,,,,,,He is ever Present in our lives from the moment we rise to the moment we put our heads dowdn on our pillows (& all through the night as we sleep),,,,,,YES,Brothers & Sisters,He IS HERE IN THE MIDST of us!!!!! That is why this is a VERY IMPORTANT question to ask ourselves without CEASING,just as Paul says"PRAY without ceasing!!!!Here on Worthy we are gathered in Jesus Name to give Glory to God,,,,,,,,when out of our own mouths we hear vindictive words like "They will get what they deserve" or "Good LUCK with that!!!!!" & better yet "Be careful who you are sending Gods Blessings?",,,,,,,,,,,,UNACCEPTABLE that Blesses & curses come from the same mouth,GOD is HERE & it cannot be PLEASING to Him,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Let us be mindful of our WORDS,,,,,,,Do our very words display the FRUITS of the Spirit? How can they if we are focused on the "speck" in our brothers eye? We MUST be mindful that if we are to be representatives of HIS KINGDOM & of HIM that we must take a good, long, clear look in the mirror & ask ourselves,,,,,,How REAL IS GOD to ME?!!! A little tip, especially for discussing various Topics here on Worthy,if anyone throws a divisive wrench in the mix & is quick to "accuse",,,,,,,walk away,do not entertain the wiles of the enemy,,,,,,,,, Walk away, remember that God is PRESENT in this Blessed Place where 2 or more have gathered in His Name,,,,,,Yes,yes,it is a favorite place for the enemy to make feeble attempts to steal, kill & destroy,,,,,,,,The GOOD NEWS is,,,,Armor Up & know that GOD IS HERE,,,,,,,that Victory has been WON over 2000 years ago,all I'm saying is be accountable & responsible for your own actions,no matter what,,,,,,,,,because YOU know that God is with us,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,before you post, ask yourself,is THIS(my words) pleasing & acceptable to my Father? How REAL is GOD to YOU? God Bless us all & this Worthy Ministry, With love-in Christ,Kwik
  9. I want to praise the One Who is ever and always Worthy. Things have been really rough going these past months. Although confused by the intensity of these trials that I've been experiencing, along with some dear folks encountering plenty also... I am truly grateful to the LORD for putting up with me. As scripture says, " O give thanks unto the LORD. For He is good. For His Mercy endureth forever."
