  1. Legalism, is Galatians 1:8. Its very specific, and here is how you should understand it. Its when a person's belief system regarding Salvation, is that "Justification by Faith, ALONE", means to them, that they must add their self righteous works TO IT.....to complete it. Legalism means, that a person believes that Salvation is the Cross + Their Christian Discipleship (Their Works)....... In other words, they pretend that The Blood Atonement is God's Salvation, but what they really believer and argue about and teach, is that the Blood Atonement, is only a part of Redemption, and their WORKS, and yours, COMBINED< is what God accepts to save you, and keep you saved. Legalism is the heresy that teaches that The Blood of Christ + Works, is Redemption. = Galatians 1:8 Legalism is pretzel logic, that tries to corrupt the words of James, in an effort to subvert the doctrine of "Justification by Faith", that Jesus gave to Paul, personally. Now, what is the NT idea - explanation, regarding "self righteous"?? Its that a person is trying, by their works, deeds, effort, and enduring, to make themselves right with God, either before they are born again, or they are trying to maintain their Salvation, by their works, deeds, effort, and enduring, AFTER they are already saved. So, what you need to understand, is that a.... Works + The Cross = Salvation theology, .....Legalism......is actually trodding underfoot the Holy Blood of Christ, because this person, this theology, is actually teaching that Christ's Blood is not quite enough, and that "works" are needed to finish the Atonement. Legalism, disrespects and insults The Holy Spirit and The Blood of Christ, by teaching that a person's works are in some way of equal value, and need to be combined with God's Blood shed on a Cross for Salvation to be completed in a person's life. = Galatians 1:8
  2. Am I the only one who sees the lack of faith in this modern day age? All over the world, there is strife, anger and rebellious lewd spirits roaming about. America, our "Great Country" is getting closer and closer to becoming the modern day Sodam and Gomora, full of lust and pride. How have we become so separated from God? When I was a child, nearly everyone was a Christian, not downing other people's beliefs, (even though they are worshipping false gods, and thats for God to judge). But Christ was the driving force behind this country's motives. Now money, power (the abuse of it), lust, are the motives of the people. How do we combat this? By spreading God's Word, His Love, and His Message, even if it is in the most subtle of ways. God is returning to claim his true followers. I am not going to bury the coin, (the gift that God has given me), and wait for His return. I aim to spread His message. In truth and humbleness until boldness is called for.
  3. The reason a believer would not have eternal confidence that they are going to heaven, subsequent to (following) their Salvation, is because no one has truly taught them how to understand Salvation. See, there are a lot of ways to teach "Salvation", but there is only on True Way to teach it, and to understand it. To begin with...... many have the idea that Salvation is..... "i heard the gospel, believed it, and i trusted in Christ". Ok, thats true........ but how did THAT make certain that you are going to heaven?.........So, THIS is what so many of you were not taught, after you were born again, and so many find themselves going along for the rest of their born again lives pulling daisies and asking themselves....."did i lose it, .....did i confess it back........did i lose it again.........did i confess it back.........did i lose it.........do i need to go back to the alter for the 17th time and get "re-saved"....do i need to do a penance.... do i need to find a priest and tell him all so that he can make me right with God, again..........and so on, and on and on, and on, and on, on on on .....> So, lets just explain How God saved you, and then you can leave your salvation in His hands and out of yours, as you are incapable of saving yourself or keeping yourself saved. Philippians 1:6 Here we go.. By the time you were 17 you had long passed the age of accountability where you had become a sinner. So, this put you in a situation that we all face........"Ive sinned, and unforgiven sinners dont go to heaven to live in Joy and Harmony with God, for all eternity". So, immediately, we see the issue........The issue is not.. being good vs being bad, and the issue is not doing right or doing wrong...... The ISSUE is your SIN is going to keep you out of heaven.....Thats your issue, when you are LOST. And that is the ONLY issue that can keep you and God apart........And it WILL for eternity, unless this "sin caused disconnect" is resolved...... and you can't do this for yourself. Understand.......Salvation, is GOD dealing with your sin, FOR YOU, because He loves you. "For God so loved the world, YOU, that He GAVE"......... John 3:16 Now, all that is the REASON for Salvation....... As Salvation is simply the means and effect by which God comes into your life and heart and spirit and resolves YOUR Sin issue for you. And this is the "Grace of God", taking care of your SIN, for you....for FREE......as "Salvation is a GIFT". The "Grace of God" is God Himself coming to YOU to solve YOUR Sin issue that is keeping you and God SEPARATED. People who die separated from God, will stay this way for eternity, and "hell" is where you begin that existence. So, Salvation is God coming to you, to resolve for eternity, YOUR SIN ISSUE that has parted you from Him, and His family, and Heaven itself. Sin is your curse and God is your Cure. Sin is your soul sickness and the Blood of Jesus is the REMEDY. You have a sin issue, as your sin is ON YOU and IN YOU and you are being held accountable for it, John 3:36... and if you dont get this resolved, then as Jesus says.."you will DIE IN YOUR SIN".....and if that happens, you are going to go to hell, and not just there.....but eventually to the "lake of fire", and there is no getting out, there is no END. Hell and the Lake of Fire will last for as long as God LIVES......And He's an Eternal Being. Now, how is SIN resolved?........Its resolved by the application of SALVATION, that God Himself applies to you, so that your SIN, once and for all, is dealt with finally and forever. Lets get right to it now..... How does GOD resolve your SIN issue so that He can Accept you and for all eternity?. As once this has happened, then "Salvation" has been applied, rendered, and given to you from God Himself, which is an eternal situation. So, How does God resolve your sin, so that He can accept you, and not just for a few weeks....? 1. ) Simple.....He eternally replaces your sin with His Very Righteousness........"The Gift of Righteousness". "The Atonement". 2.) He removes the Law's power to judge you any longer as a "sinner", (Romans 4:8) and from this point, you are never viewed by God ever again as a sinner, but only as a "joint heir with Christ" and in fact a "Son/Daughter of God", and exactly connected to God just like Jesus. Now, i said i would keep this simple, but i had to write a bit of explanation, so that you could see what God had to take care of for you (your sin), so that by taking care of it for you (Jesus on The Cross), you could understand WHY Salvation has nothing to do with your behavior.....but Everything to do with God solving your sin issue FOR YOU, that disconnected you from Him. ----- So, moving along..... A little deeper.... God looks at us, before we are born again.....as the "adamic fallen", the sinners, the unbelievers, the LOST< and He had the responsibility to offer the only WAY.. (John 14:6) that you could be accepted by Him, back into His family, and for all eternity. How? God knows that to accept you, for you to belong to Him.... you have to be like Him........ And how is that?.....>"God's name is HOLY".......... That is how. He had to recreate you, (born again) so that you possess HIS VERY RIghteousness, as yours... In other words, YOU have to become, literally "the righteousness of God, In Christ", before He can accept you as His own.. So, what did He have to do, to GET THIS to you?.........Well, God literally had to become like you.... He literally came to this earth as Jesus, and OFFERS<>< FREELY GIVES you His Righteousness AS A FREE GIFT FROM THE CROSS.......>"God became one of us".....and He literally lived and met the requirements of His own LAW, and lived it perfectly, sinlessly....and then he took this to a Cross, this sinless - law keeping - perfection..... and sacrificed it (Himself) as a Gift to you and me. And Christ's sinlessness combined with the Sacrifice for the Sin of the World on a Cross, IS, Salvation as a finished "work of redemption" And here is where it gets even more interesting...... This Act of God, His sinless LIFE combined with His sacrificial Death on a Cross, is a completed situation, that exists... Its a living gift....Its alive....Its Power.....Its Redemption. It Exists for over 2000 years as a living OPPORTUNITY to have it.......... applied, for FREE. Now.....A low rent and pretty lame analogy would be.......... There is a Billion Dollars in the bank......and its WAITING TO BE APPLIED, Given.....to "all who would come". Salvation, is always there, waiting to be applied...waiting to be GIVEN. = This unconditional love of God, this Amazing Grace, that is God Himself solving the sin issue for "all would who come".......Is always there, waiting to do it for anyone and everyone who would turn from themselves, turn to the Cross, kneel, and say......."I believe, i receive, and i trust".. Faith : is Trust. Faith : is Trust. And when anyone offers this FAITH, their TRUST to God, ....He Instantly applies the gift of Salvation unto them, upon them, and within them.....once and forever. = Born Again. "Salvation". ------- wrapping it up time.... ""Salvation""......now simplified ........is........ God took the responsibility of your life, your eternal life, upon Himself. And to do so He completely resolved the issue of your sin, by becoming a man, and dying for your sin. Which....is offering you not only the freedom from the judgment due you for your sin by taking it upon Himself on a Cross.....but He also replaces your unholiness with His very Righteousness...... He gives this to you as "the gift of Righteousness", and in this way, you become "the righteousness of God, IN Christ", that He can accept, and nothing else will He accept. And how does He finally seal the deal?..........= He abolishes the law and establishes Grace in its place, so that only the BORN AGAIN are "no longer under the law, but under Grace", and by completing this final act, by removing from you (the Law) that can no longer deem you or judge you to be a sinner......."where there is no Law, there is no Transgression".... Romans 4:8.........He has stopped the LAW from having the power to judge you to be (by Himself) a sinner AFTER you are saved.. This had to be so, or the effect of becoming holy so that God could accept you, would be destroyed 20 mins after you were saved, when you did something wrong So, God took care of it all. He (became) took you sin upon Himself on the Cross . He replaced your sin with His "Gift of Righteousness", and then to make certain the Law could not judge you ever again as a "sinner". (Romans 4:8) God abolished the Law, and replaced it with Grace, so that your eternal life would always be secured by what HE did for you. "Salvation". <B><

    - There are many interesting and doctrinally/theologically accurate means to understand/comprehend Salvation. As the born again's eternal position in God's family , whereby we are eternally joined to God our Father through the Blood of Jesus, can be understood on many levels as an amazing spiritual mosaic regarding redemption.. Salvation....The Atonement....is multi-facited , it has many intricate and connected dots..... 1.) One way you can "see it", is to realize that God took upon Himself the sacrificial responsibility of our redemption, by Himself literally dying on a cross to bridge and thereby remove the eternal gulf that was between Himself and us that was our "SIN".. 2.) Another was you can view it is to understand that God's literal holiness is SO Holy, that it does not allow anything that is not equal in holiness to exist around Him..... So, He literally solves our unholiness that was the eternal wall between us and Himself, by dying for us and thereby GIFTING us with the "Righteousness of God, In Christ".....which is literally God's very own holiness becoming ours when we are born again. "the gift of righteousness".. 3.) And one more way to contemplate God's unmerited Salvation that He has gifted us with if we are born again, is Ephesians 2..... "God through Christ has raised us up together (Jesus and you) (Jesus is the resurrection and the Eternal Life), and made us 3 sit together.....(God, Christ, and the Born Again), > " IN Christ Jesus". Jesus The Christ IS God, and We the born again are "in Christ", (In God) and "Christ (God) in us IS the eternal and literal hope of Heaven, Eternal Life, & Glory". And how is this understood best?..... John 17:23.... "Jesus is inside the born Again, and God is inside Jesus, SO THAT the born again are ALL made perfect, as are all ONE in God...."""" <B><
  5. This entire blog was spawned from a sermon entitled, What about Jacob? Or, can a man find healing in a woman? To make this brief, I did not understand, nor was I able to track with what the pastor said, as he tried to prove his point about Jacob. Sorry, I can't really see it but I am enjoying the study, as usual. As we finished part one of our look at Jacob, the grand deception was complete. Do you think Rebekah and Jacob gleefully danced around the campfire that night as they celebrated how well they pulled it off? Hardly, for Esau, as you will see, has every intention of killing Jacob once Isaac is dead. Notice how there is no concern on the part of Esau for how this will affect his mother. And, all this evokes another question, is it possible for Esau to regain his birthright? I don't think so, at least not in God's eyes. Cheating not only Esau but your father as well, you would think that Jacob would be gone already, but only minutes from now Issac calls Jacob before him and commands him to not a wife from the same cluster of women that Esau had chosen from. Isaac directs Jacob to Laban, Rebekah's brother. Maybe, Isaac knows full well what kind of man Laban can be considering the backhanded maneuver Rebekah has just pulled on Isaac. With that said, let's continue on. I mentioned in the previous post, that Esau did not take this selling of the birthright serious. If he had Wouldn't it seem logical to say something to Isaac? Wouldn't Isaac have known? Why would Esau bother to respond Isaac as though there was not a problem? “As soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, when Jacob had scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac, his father, Esau his brother came in from his hunting.” Jacob logically only has seconds to get out of Esau's presence, and, his fathers. Genesis 27:30-37 ESV As soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, when Jacob had scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac, his father, Esau his brother came in from his hunting. He also prepared delicious food and brought it to his father. And he said to his father, "Let my father arise and eat of his son's game, that you may bless me." His father Isaac said to him, "Who are you?" He answered, "I am your son, your firstborn, Esau." Then Isaac trembled very violently and said, "Who was it then that hunted game and brought it to me, and I ate it all before you came, and I have blessed him? Yes, and he shall be blessed." As soon as Esau heard the words of his father, he cried out with an exceedingly great and bitter cry and said to his father, "Bless me, even me also, O my father!" But he said, "Your brother came deceitfully, and he has taken away your blessing." Esau said, "Is he not rightly named Jacob? For he has cheated me these two times. He took away my birthright, and behold, now he has taken away my blessing." Then he said, "Have you not reserved a blessing for me?" Isaac answered and said to Esau, "Behold, I have made him lord over you, and all his brothers I have given to him for servants, and with grain and wine I have sustained him. What then can I do for you, my son?" The deception is pulled off, and now you would think that Jacob has to flee, an exile. And Esau is the reason. Genesis 27:38-41 NASB Esau said to his father, "Do you have only one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, O my father." So Esau lifted his voice and wept. 39) Then, Isaac, his father answered and said to him, "Behold, away from the fertility of the earth shall be your dwelling, And away from the dew of heaven from above. 40) "By your sword, you shall live, And your brother you shall serve; But it shall come about when you become restless, That you will break his yoke from your neck." 41) So Esau bore a grudge against Jacob because of the blessing with which his father had blessed him; and Esau said to himself, "The days of mourning for my father are near; then I will kill my brother Jacob." So Rebekah calls Jacob in once again. Genesis 27:42-45 NASB Now when the words of her elder son Esau were reported to Rebekah, she sent and called her younger son Jacob, and said to him, "Behold your brother Esau is consoling himself concerning you by planning to kill you. 43) "Now, therefore, my son, obey my voice, and arise, flee to Haran, to my brother Laban! 44) "Stay with him a few days, until your brother's fury subsides, 45) until your brother's anger against you subsides and he forgets what you did to him. Then I will send and get you from there. Why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?" But Jacob still hasn't left. To make matters worse, we now learn of Esau's wives and what grief they are causing Rebekah. Genesis 27:45 NASB until your brother's anger against you subsides and he forgets what you did to him. Then I will send and get you from there. Why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?" In response to Rebekah, Issac calls Jacob in once more. Genesis 28:1-5 NASB So Isaac called Jacob and blessed him and charged him, and said to him, "You shall not take a wife from the daughters of Canaan. 2) "Arise, go to Paddan-aram, to the house of Bethuel your mother's father; and from there take to yourself a wife from the daughters of Laban your mother's brother. 3) "May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, that you may become a company of peoples. 4) "May He also give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your descendants with you, that you may possess the land of your sojournings, which God gave to Abraham." 5) Then Isaac sent Jacob away, and he went to Paddan-aram to Laban, son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, the mother of Jacob and Esau. While Isaac's command is that he get a wife from Laban's daughters, we don't see anything that tells us he knows what he is looking for. Jacob, in a sense, stumbles upon Rachel, and she is a vision of how a girl should look. He wants her and is willing to work for her to get her. There is an irony here in that Rachel, is not an accident by any means, for Laban, her father is Jacob's uncle. (Consider: If Rebekah knew how to be devious it only makes sense that Laban, Rachel's father, would also know how to be underhanded.) Jacob makes no effort to negotiate for her but tells Laban that he will work seven years for her. (That timeframe may be significant on several levels. Seven is the number of perfection, redemption, and a theme that recurs throughout scripture.) It may be essential to consider Rachel's age at this time. I doubt he would have pursued her if he did not think she was old enough to marry. “Joseph married at about age 30 (Gen_41:45). This was old by Egyptian standards, since most males were still only boys when they married. Yet it is clear that a boy had to be not only sexually mature but also able to provide for his wife and thus settled in his occupation before he married. Girls seem to have married between about twelve and fourteen. They did not have to wait until established in a career. Some royal marriages, occurring for dynastic or other political reasons, took place when the individuals were very young. For example, Tutankhamen died at the age of eighteen or nineteen after a nine-year reign and marriage, so he must have been nine or ten when married.” NELSON'S Bible Manners & Customs, How the People of the Bible Really Lived, Howard F. Vos, THOMAS NELSON PUBLISHERS Jacob does not do what many desperate men would do, and rape her, he waits the seven years. He then goes to Laban and demands that she be given to him for he has paid for her. Laban deceives Jacob just as Jacob had deceived Esau and gave him Leah. Laban makes a statement here, in response to Jacob's shock and disappointment, that I never noticed before. And Laban answered It is not done thus in our country, to give the younger before the elder. Genesis 29:26 Brenton) As that particular pastor exclaimed: "this had to cut Jacob like a knife, as this is precisely what Jacob and his mother had done to Esau.” And, Uncle Laban may well have been told of it. If not, it is amazing how the Holy Spirit puts words in your mouth. According to the pastor, the premise behind all this is that Jacob, a broken man, (I am not so sure he could understand that for a long time,) pursues Rachel, the vision of perfection, in hopes that she would heal him and make him a better man. I am not sure I see all that, but it makes sense, as most men do just that. While the hope of finding something that calms the inward brokenness he feels may be going on in the back of his mind, it is not directly noted in scripture; many things aren't, and yet the more in-depth answers and subjects are there if we pursue them. One of the things that I see in scripture is that God is in control, regardless of how lousy the circumstances seem to be. The pastor said, “that God gives us examples of people who are messed up so that we can know what not to do.” If that theory is correct, then why would God tell Israel, explicitly, not to learn from the surrounding nations, for the surrounding nations were doing everything wrong, worshiping idols, and sacrificing their children to gods. While I might argue that learning from my neighbor how to work with Iron could be a necessity that would allow a civilization to create water pipes. However, there is often a hazard in close associations, especially with those not so grounded, as it can cause us to be drawn away by the deviant and those used by Satan. Along with that, I have had several acquaintances that claimed to be Christians. One, it turns out, was in a men's home (the men's home is somewhat irrelevant except that you can make an obvious assumption - and that is that the person from the home has had some mighty struggles in the past.) While the leadership of the men's home had mandated church services and Bible studies they had to attend, they could not seem to get the world out of this brother. He, in a short period, took a job on the night crew, and I rarely saw him after that. His reattachment to the world seemed to grow and he left the group home he was a part of. You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods. They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against Me; for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you. (Exodus 23:32-33 AMP) And you shall consume all the peoples whom the Lord your God will give over to you; your eye shall not pity them, neither shall you serve their gods, for that would be a snare to you. (Deuteronomy 7:16 AMP) You didn't merely live by their ways and act according to their disgusting practices, but in a very short time, you acted more corruptly than they in all your ways. (Ezekiel 16:47 CJB) Is it the person becoming the snare? Perhaps, but what we do know is that Satan will deceive you through any means possible. In some cases, it might be an innocent but attractive looking woman. Yes, Jacob's life is one huge psychodrama. He is a liar, a cheat, and a general a mess; he does not even seem to slow down all those years later when he meets Esau again. But there is a method to God's madness. God seems to use broken people; he even seeks them out. He seems to find pleasure in lifting them up and healing them. On the plus side, our savior is a descendant of the line from Jacob. My point: That no matter how messed up the narrative, or, our story is, we can and should glean as much as we can from each one, for it is God's story. Sure, you think it is all yours, but it is never anything less than God's plan, you merely get to be a part of it. "For I know what plans I have in mind for you,' says Adonai, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future. " (Jeremiah 29:11 CJB)
  6. Exodus 33:18,22,23 - Then Moses said, "I pray Thee, show my Thy glory!" And it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by. "Then I will take My hand away and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen." When Moses saw the Lord's back, what did he see? When we think of seeing His glory we think of everything from beautiful colors to some perception of His nature. Is it possible that Moses prophetically saw the stripes that were on His back? Remember, the Lord was crucified from the beginning. When He created the world He knew that He would also have to suffer and even die for it, yet He continued. There is nothing else that will ever more fully reveal His glory. When we truly behold what He did for us we will be changed. Colossians 1:13,16,17 - "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist." 2 Corinthians 8:9 - "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich." Jesus never was poor. When the Bible says, Jesus became poor, it means He was poor in comparison to what He had in His heavenly home. Before Mary and Joseph went to the barn, they first went to the inn to get a room. Mary and Joseph had plenty of money to get a room at the inn. The problem was, the inn had no room for the Savior. Yes, Jesus was born in a manger, but not to teach us poverty. God was showing us that we were not making room for the Savior to be born in our lives. Affirmations: I MAKE ROOM FOR JESUS EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE. THROUGH THE BLOOD THAT THE LORD JESUS SHED FOR ME, I AM ABUNDANCE. "Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." - Ephesians 5:20 Thankfulness takes the sting out of adversity. That is why He has instructed you to give thanks for everything. There is an element of mystery in this transaction: You give Him thanks (regardless of your feelings), and He gives you joy (regardless of your circumstances). This is a spiritual act of obedience—at times, blind obedience. Nonetheless, those who obey Him in this way are invariably blessed, even though difficulties may remain. Thankfulness opens your heart to His Presence and your mind to His thoughts. You may still be in the same place, with the same set of circumstances, but it is as if a light has been switched on, enabling you to SEE FROM HIS PERSPECTIVE. It is this Light of His Presence that removes the sting from adversity. "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." - Psalm 118:1 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Job 1:10 - "Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land." As God built a hedge around Job, which limited Satan, so today He will do the same for any child of God who applies the blood to a given situation. The blood is the hedge that stops the Destroyer. Revelation 12:11 - "And they overcame him by the BLOOD of the Lamb and by the WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY, and they did not love their lives to the death." Exodus 12:7,13 - "And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side-posts and on the upper door post of the houses....And the blood shall be to you and for a token upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt." Confessions: I OVERCOME ALL FEAR, DEPRESSION, UNBELIEF, WAVERING AND HALFHEARTEDNESS, DISCOURAGEMENT, TEMPTATION, AND SICKNESS BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS AND THE WORD OF MY TESTIMONY. MY SOUL IS FILLED WITH LOVE AS I GAZE ON JESUS' PRECIOUS BLOOD. BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF THE BLOOD IN MY HEART, I APPLY THE BLOOD WITH MY MOUTH OVER THE DOORPOSTS OF MY LIFE. Luke 5:4 - "When Jesus had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, 'Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."' Luke 5 is a great example of the Church in our day. We have been fishing all night and have not caught much. Many of us have not ventured out of the shallow water, out of the zones of safety and comfortableness, to find the fish where they are. The fish are in the deep water; they are outside the Church, and outside our opinions and prejudices. As we are obedient to God's call and venture into the deep water and into relationships with people "on the streets," we will be overwhelmed by the response and will need to network with other churches to accommodate the great numbers of people who will come to Jesus. Matthew 4:19 - And Jesus said unto them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." "Then, knowing what lies ahead for you, you won't become bored with being a Christian, nor become spiritually dull and indifferent, but you will be anxious to follow the example of those who receive all that God has promised them because of their strong faith and patience." - Hebrews 6:12 (Living Bible) Now is the time to press into the Lord for Fresh Empowerment and Activation for harvest in the coming season. We need to see a tremendous outpouring of the Power of the Holy Spirit for our current Time. As we go into this season we pray to see a notable increase in the Power of the Lord from the Fire of His Presence that will cause many to turn to Him. We need to pray for these seven blessings: 1. Greater Power 2. Greater Anointing 3. Greater Favor 4. Greater Flow of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit 5. Greater Evidence of the Fruit of the Spirit 6. Greater Doors and Influence through the favor of the Lord. 7. Greater Harvest Albert Finch Ministry

  9. We Are Fighting Demons More Than Democrats Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all transgressions. Proverbs 10:12 (New American Standard Bible) ........ What I’m calling for is simple and clear. It is for followers of Jesus to seek God’s face in prayer with a deep sense of urgency, asking Him to have mercy on our nation. It is for us to humble ourselves before Him in deep repentance for our own sins and failings. It is for us to renew our commitment to the Great Commission and to focus once again on winning the lost and making disciples. It is for us to shine like lights in dark places, confronting evil and injustice, helping the poor and the hurting, making a tangible difference for good wherever God has placed us. It is for us to live in the light of eternity, recognizing that what we do (or don’t do) in our time on earth will have implications in both this world and the world to come. In short, it is for us to take the Bible seriously, and that means submitting to God, resisting the devil, and pushing back the forces of darkness by the power of the gospel. Not only can it be done, with God’s gracious help, it must be done. Are you with me? https://townhall.com/columnists/michaelbrown/2017/03/30/we-are-fighting-demons-more-than-democrats-n2306510
  10. 2 Corinthians 3:7,8 - "Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious." THE GOAL OF REDEMPTION IS TO RESTORE MAN TO HIS ORIGINAL CONDITION BEFORE THE FALL, WHICH IS WALKING WITH GOD, OBEYING HIM, AND FULFILLING HIS MANDATE TO RULE OVER THE EARTH. GOD ALSO ESTABLISHED THAT HE WOULD NOT ONLY RESTORE MAN TO THE CONDITION FROM WHICH HE HAD FALLEN, BUT RAISE HIM UP AS A GLORIOUS "NEW CREATION," WHICH WAS TO BE MUCH MORE THAN SIMPLY RESTORED TO THE CONDITION OF THE FIRST ADAM - THE NEW CREATION MAN ACTUALLY HAS GOD LIVING IN HIM! GOD HAS MADE MAN HIS TEMPLE AND GOD DWELLS IN MAN. THE ULTIMATE QUEST OF EVERY CHRISTIAN LIFE IS THEREFORE TO BE THE INTIMATE FRIEND OF THE LORD. IF THERE IS ANY WAY WE CAN MEASURE TRUE CHRISTIAN MATURITY, IT WILL BE BY HOW CLOSE WE ARE TO GOD. OUR MATURITY WILL BE REFLECTED BY HOW MUCH OF HIS GLORY IS MANIFESTED THROUGH OUR LIVES. IS OUR RELIGION ABOUT SATISFYING OUR NEEDS AND DESIRES? 2 Corinthians 5:15 - "And He died for all, that they who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf." Romans 14:7,8 - "For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lords." Our salvation has freed us from ourselves so that we can live for God. We died to the law but we also died to all the claims and aspirations we had staked out as citizens of this world. We no longer live unto, or for ourselves, because we are no long our own. The whole meaning our individual lives and faith consists of serving His purposes. We will only discover and fulfill God's high CALLING (our DESTINY in Christ) when we allow ourselves to be fully subjected to the leading of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19,20 - "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not you own? For you have been bought with a price." Philippians 3:10 - "That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death." FOR HIS SAKE, WE CANNOT CONTENT OURSELVES MERELY WITH GOOD WORKS. ULTIMATELY, WE WILL DISCOVER THAT STUDY AND CHURCH ATTENDANCE ARE BUT FORMS THAT HAVE NO SATISFACTION IN AND OF THEMSELVES. OUR PLEASURE WILL BE FOUND NOT IN THE MECHANICS OF SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES, BUT THAT THESE DISCIPLINES BRING US CLOSER TO THE ALMIGHTY. WE HAVE SATISFIED OURSELVES WITH A SYSTEM OF HISTORIC FACTS ABOUT GOD WITHOUT PRESSING INTO THE REALITY OF GOD. OUR GOAL IS TO SEEK EARNESTLY FOR GOD UNTIL WE FIND HIM. Affirmations: TO TRULY KNOW GOD I MUST SEEK HIM UNTIL I PASS THROUGH MY KNOWLEDGE INTO AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE ALMIGHTY. HAVING FOUND HIM I ALLOW HIS PRESENCE TO FILL MY SPIRIT WITH HIS PEACE. THE UPWARD CALL OF GOD DRAWS ME INTO THE PLACE OF SURRENDER, WHERE I YIELD MY BEING INTO HIS HANDS. AS I LISTEN TO HIM, I ASCEND HIGHER TO THE DWELLING PLACE OF LOVE. I PRESS-IN TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST WHICH SURPASSES KNOWLEDGE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. When Jesus declared on the Cross, "It is finished," He decreed to the earth and the world of darkness that they had lost. When Jesus arose from the grave, He fulfilled the legal requirements of the law and broke the curse of sin off the earth! Jesus secured everything for the Believer from the Cross of Calvary and the Resurrection from the grave, and satan knows he is powerless to stop God's Kingdom plan. BECAUSE OF OUR RESURRECTED SAVIOR, WE WIN! Colossians 2:12-15 (NKJV) - " ...[You were] buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us." Jesus' followers can see how the Cross had become the intersection of Heaven and earth. The supernatural traffic between Heaven and earth can flow freely through this intersection, and the supernatural life is available to us NOW: 1) Exchanging Punishment for Peace - Isa. 53:5 2) Exchanging Sickness for Healing - Isa. 53:4-5 3) Exchanging Sin for Righteousness - Isa. 53:10, 2 Cor. 5:21 4) Exchanging Curse for Blessing - Deut. 28:15-68 for Deut. 28:1-14 5) Exchanging Poverty for Wealth - 2 Cor. 8:9 6) Exchanging Threefold Death for Threefold Life - Heb. 2:9 He tasted death in three successive phases: (1) He was cut off from union and fellowship with the Father; (2) He was cut off from physical life; and (3) He was banished from God's presence like a scapegoat, carrying sin away. He was crucified and buried; He descended into Hades and rose again so that our redemption could be complete. In exchange, the gift of life to every Believer is: (1) union and fellowship with God; and (2) resurrection and eternal life in God's glorious presence. 7) Exchanging the Old Man for the New - Rom. 6:6; 8:10; Col. 2:11; Gal. 5:17-24 As we understand that our spirit is "quickened" by His Spirit we must – as God's design for Kingdom citizens – take dominion and multiply God's Kingdom on this earth as it is in Heaven! That is indeed the Believer's resurrection authority. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Ephesians 2:1 - "But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ." The basic purpose of the cross is more than reconciling us to God; it also brings us back to Himself in the close, intimate relationship that He originally intended to have with men. He wants to bring us near. It is in that place that we find the glory and anointing needed to transform atmospheres on earth. We are called to be the carriers of His glory. Christ in you is the hope of Glory (Colossians 1:27). It is the glory of God that makes that difference. By laying hold of Jesus, we lay hold of the glory of the Holy Spirit allowing Him to manifest in us and through us. Hebrews 10:22 - "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water." Romans 8:29 - "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren." Affirmation: AS I REACH FOR CHRISTLIKENESS, MY LOVE FOR GOD BECOMES RICHER, MY WITNESS TO SINNERS MORE POWERFUL, AND MY SECRET LIFE HOLY. 2 Kings 5:10 - "And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean." Observation: AS I DIP IN THE LIVING WATER OF GOD'S WORD AND SUBMERGE MYSELF IN THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT - THE WORLD WILL SEE AN EVENT THAT TRANSCENDS HUMAN POWER. THEY WILL WONDER AT THE DIVINE INTERVENTION BY GOD INTO MY CIRCUMSTANCES. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. In the Gospel of Matthew,Jesus says: "Anyone who is not with Me is against Me, and anyone who does not gather with Me scatters. 31 Because of this, I tell you, people will be forgiven every sin and blasphemy, but the blasphemy against9 the Spirit will not be forgiven.10 32 Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the one to come." what is meant by "in this age or in the one to come" ? Does this mean that people who actively reject Christianity and even encourage others to do so,lose the possibility of being saved forever? Does "The age to come" mean our present age?
