  2. (Below is an edited version of a letter i sent to an older wiser couple in the christian community.) Dear ____ and ____, Some time back I met a gal. Her name is (girlfriend). We met working together as CNA's for a program that aides elderly adults. After some time we started showing some interests in one another. We liked each other. The thing that we liked the most about each other was that the other was a Christian. We got along well and I personally admired her work ethic and loved her heart and how she served those that we were taking care of. Things seemed to fall into place and before we knew it we were dating. As boyfriend and a Christian I failed (girlfriend) as well as the Lord. We eventually ended up having sex with one another. As time went on the effects of this became apparent. It was hurting our relationship and was weighing on my conscience. We both became convicted about what we were doing and one night we decided to pray about it together and confess it to the Lord. After a long drive around town discussing the current state of our relationship and our plans to move forward, we found ourselves parked on the side of the road and we prayed sincerely for the first time together in our relationship. We confessed our sins and asked the Lord to forgive us. We asked the Lord to protect our relationship and asked Him to be apart of it. It was a special moment. Two days later all hell broke loose. (girlfriend)'s temperament and disposition towards our relationship has suddenly changed. He called me and confessed that she was wrestling with some stuff from her past and that she simply wasn't "happy" with me anymore. She said she loved me but would need to take a "break" to take some time for herself. While stating this she was extremely mean and over the course of the next 3 weeks of us being on a break the conversations that I had with her on the phone consisted of her verbally attacking and mocking the personal things that I confided in her over the course of our relationship. In her defense the angst in some of those conversations stemmed from me wanting to rekindle things. My application of trying to make things better and be there for her was making things worse, she felt infringed on, but was also giving me mixed messages. She hurt me very deeply during this time, and I made things worse by trying to pursue her. Something in my gut tells me that some of the origin and influence of this was nothing less than spiritual warfare. On Christmas Eve it all came to a head when she told me she wanted to end things for good and never wanted to see me again. A few days later I received a text message from her saying that she might be pregnant. Once again I dropped the ball. Instead of being edifying, I lashed out in a text message back and said some things that I deeply regret, everyday. A few minutes later I recanted and apologized. I asked her to forgive me and that what I said was wrong and sinful. Honestly what I said isn't truly what my heart is towards (girlfriend). I love her dearly. On the 29th of December (girlfriend) texted me that she was indeed pregnant. She explained recently that she want to have no contact with me whatsoever, that she doesn't want me in her life or our child's life. She said that she wants me to not be present for the birth of the child, to not sign the birth certificate and that I should consider terminating my parental rights. I love (girlfriend) dearly and I know deep down she has some love in there for me too. I know the she is absolutely terrified, she is having a child, at 20 years old. Currently her and her family feel that this is the wisest option. Honestly I know that I have made mistakes but I don't think anything that I have done warrants the measures that she is trying to take. I have never hit (girlfriend), I have never threatened her, I don't use drugs or alcohol... I still love her and want to be apart of our child's life. This terrifies me. This hits me in a part of my soul that has been wounded since my childhood. I was adopted and my father and mother were abusive drugs addicts and form the age of 4 years old I vowed that I would never let my children experience what I have experienced. There has been a hole there for many years. My convictions are to one day marry (girlfriend) and to be present in my child's life. (girlfriend) currently wants nothing to do with me. Her family reviles against me. I feel like a bull being stuck to death. It seems that the enemy is winning. Gods silence crushes me and opposes me. How do I fight with wisdom for a woman and a child that I love dearly? How do I fight when two-thirds of my heart are being stripped out of me? How does a young man, who loves Christ, who falls more often than one should think, win back and warm the heart of the mother of his unborn child? My heart is grieved. The only hope that I have is in the Lord. My testimony rests in His hands, the future of my heart is at His mercy. Any wisdom, encouragement, and advice will be greatly valued. If you are willing to spare a moment please pray over this situation, (girlfriend), her family, our child, and I. I hope the Lord can restore this.
  3. Jeremiah 1:12 - "Then said the Lord unto me, you have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that My Word is fulfilled." Jesus is our family lawyer (1 John 2:1). He ever lives to watch over those for whom He died and suffered. We hold fast our confession. Our confession has been of our position in Christ, of our legal rights as a child of God, of what He is to us now. Jesus is the Surety (guarantor) (Hebrews 7:22) of every word from Matthew 1 to Revelation 22. AFFIRMATION: I have the abiding Word and the ability of God active inside of me because God Himself is active inside of me, watching to make sure that His Word is fulfilled for me. So if I act on the Word, God will watch that Word to see that it comes to pass in whatever way I need it to come to pass. He is watching over my situation, because He is watching over His word! Luke 1:37 - "For with God nothing is ever impossible, and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment." Luke 1:28,31 - "And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus." WE ARE NEW CREATURES IN A NEW CREATION. THERE IS NOT A DIFFERENT JESUS IN US THAN HE WHO DWELLS IN HEAVEN. HE IS CHRIST WRAPPED IN GLORY IN HEAVEN; HE IS CHRIST WRAPPED IN OUR HUMAN FLESH ON EARTH. IT IS HERE, IN THIS CARRYING OF THE ACTUAL PRESENCE OF CHRIST WITHIN US, THAT WE SHARE WITH MARY THE AWE OF GOD'S PURPOSE FOR US. Song of Solomon 4:3 - "Your lips are like a scarlet thread, and your speech is sweet. Your cheeks are like a piece of pomegranate, besides that which is hidden within." THE LIPS REPRESENT THE WILL. THE WILL KISSES WITH AFFECTION THAT WHICH IT LOVES. AS YOUR WILL COMES TO LOVE GOD ALONE, ALL YOUR AFFECTION IS TOWARD HIM. THE AFFECTIONS ARE REUNITED IN A SINGLE-HEARTED LOVE FOR GOD. ALL THE STRENGTH OF THE WILL IS GIVEN TO GOD. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Restoration (Read Isaiah 58 & John 16) Matthew 9:17 - “Nor do people put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out and the wineskins are ruined; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.” (Only when we allow the Holy Spirit to work within us do we have the power to live a victorious Christian life. And it is He, the Holy Spirit, who does the work of restoring, the fragmented shattered pieces of our lives to something that is far greater than the former state. When the Holy Spirit begins the process, a process of restoration, He has placed us in a: 1. new season; 2. new revelation; 3. new life; 4. new wine. In order to contain the new wine of restoration we need a new wine skin. The Greek word for “new” in this passage “KAINOS” meaning something that has been renewed or made over or something restored. In the restorative process, God take what was there and bring it to a new place so He can pour within it that which He longs to release to us – a new wine. To make a wine skin new, He soaks the old wine skin in water and rubs it with oil. Rubbing with oil is the part of the process that makes us flexible. The oil contains a new anointing. As we alow the Holy Spirit to take us through the process of rubbing, we not only become more flexible to handle all God’s desires to pour into us, but we become able to pour out in a greater measure.) Galatians 1:6-7 6I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; 7which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. Galatians 3:1 1You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? (Specifically, there are three things God must remove from our lives in order to renew our wineskins: 1. He removes legalism. In Galatians legalism is equated with witchcraft. Paul reminds the Galatians that they were doing great. They were having a good time, growing in the Lord and walking in faith. Then he asks who bewitched them? In other words, who narrowed their minds down to such a degree that they were no longer able to receive the grace of God? Who brought legalism into their midst? Eg.: Is there a situation in your life, family or church that seems completely unchangeable? Are behavioral patterns so entrenched that nothing can shake them loose? If the answer is yes then you are dealing with a legalistic mind-set. We say that nothing is impossible with God but do we believe that nothing is impossible with God? In every area where we do not have this heartfelt assurance, we have a legalistic bewitching structure that narrows God.) John 8:43-44 43“Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word. 44“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (2. He removes condemnation. Satan is a liar and a thief. He lies to us about our postion with God in order to steal the restoration God has for us. We say things such as, “God can’t restore me because I….am divorced, had an abortion, lied about a friend, had a messed up childhood, took what was not mine, etc.. Getting right with God and forgiving ourselves will break the schemes the devil intended to use to keep us draped in a shroud of guilt, no matter what we have done.) Isaiah 58:6,8-12 6 “Is this not the fast which I choose, To loosen the bonds of wickedness, To undo the bands of the yoke, And to let the oppressed go free And break every yoke?8“Then your light will break out like the dawn, And your recovery will speedily spring forth; And your righteousness will go before you; The glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. 9 “Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; You will cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you remove the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger and speaking wickedness,10And if you give yourself to the hungry And satisfy the desire of the afflicted, Then your light will rise in darkness And your gloom will become like midday. 11“And the LORD will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.12 “Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; You will raise up the age-old foundations; And you will be called the repairer of the breach, The restorer of the streets in which to dwell. (3. He removes judgementalism. The law of sowing and reaping applies to condemning other through judgements i.e. if we sow condemnation to others we will be condemned – we too become suseptable to falling into the same sin we accuse others of. Isaiah 58 says that if you will pray and fast and let God determine the fast for you, you will, “put away the pointing of that finger and speaking wickedly”, He will begin to breakforth your light and healing will spring up.” .) 5. Malichi 4:5-6)-Behold,i will send you ( Elijah) the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.,and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the with a curse. What are your thoughts..? Im understanding that Elijah will play a majior role in the restoration of Gods truth ,among the people of God', And this will occur, shortly before christs return. Malichi, will be the factor in the establishment ,of proclaiming the kingdom of God on earth. Blessings,With Gods grace, 7Dove77
