  1. . List of Scriptures about Hidden, Parables, Mysteries, Shadows, Seek Psalms 49:4 I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp. Psalm 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old: Proverbs 1:6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. Hosea 12:10 I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets. Micah 3:6 Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them Matthew 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: Mark 4:13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? Mark 4:34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples. John 10:6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. Luke 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 1 Corinthians 4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 1 Cor. 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Galatians 4:24 Which things are an allegory: [This is all encouraging to me to keep comparing, especially if a person or event sort of jumps out at me. I looked up the word parable and it has meaning for para to lay side by side, compare, and ballo, to see or to throw.] ******************** .
  2. Daily Reading 58 If you prefer, you can look up the following verses in your own Bible, of by whatever means and in whichever version you choose. Matthew 7 Exodus 37:1-38:31 Proverbs 17 Audio 3:31 Audio 3:14 Audio 2:58 The above addresses are linked to Bible Gateway. That is an easy way to read (or listen to) the Bible verses, and choose your version. Personally, I prefer written, that way I can go at my own pace, on think about it, before moving on. Nothing wrong with doing either or both. The Bible says faith comes by hearing. See the picture below to get an idea of what to expect if you follow the above links. Note: The audio will not play the exact verses, it will play the whole chapters, in which the verses exist. Thank you Lord for making the your word so accessible for us in these times. Amen
  3. Luke 11:9 - "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." JESUS IS TELLING US, "DON'T STOP AFTER YOU PRAY. GET UP AND GO LOOK FOR WHAT YOU ASKED FOR. YOU WILL FIND IT IF YOU SEEK IT. IT MAY BE BEHIND SOME CLOSED DOORS. IF THAT IS THE CASE, THEN KNOCK. WHEN THE DEVIL TRIES TO HOLD IT BACK, JUST KEEP PERSISTING UNTIL THE DOOR FALLS DOWN. ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD, IF YOU KNOCK, IT WILL COME TO PASS. THIS IS THE MEANING OF ACTIVE PRAYER. 2 Timothy 3:17 - "That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." We as kings and priests in God's kingdom are the anointed ones, the sons and daughters of fresh oil, endued with gifts of power, strength, and grace to enable us to accomplish the spiritual WORK we're called to (God's PURPOSE for our life). "You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only." - James 2:24 Jesus is not looking at our intentions, wishes, or knowledge of what is right. He is looking at our works! Are we allowing the grace of God to produce holy living and advance His Kingdom in our lives, or have we received the grace of God in vain? Affirmations: I CONFESS AND MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD DAY BY DAY. THAT WORD DECKS ME OUT - EQUIPPING, OUTFITTING, AND FURNISHING ME WITH ALL THE SPIRITUAL GEAR I NEED TO TAKE THE ADVENTUROUS TRIP GOD HAS PLANNED FOR MY LIFE. WITH GOD'S WORD FITTED TIGHTLY IN PLACE, I AM READY TO SET SAIL AND FOLLOW WHEREVER THE HOLY SPIRIT LEADS! I DECLARE THIS BY FAITH IN JESUS' NAME! Song of Solomon 2:13 - "The fig tree has put forth her green figs, and the flowering vines give a pleasant fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come." COME OUT OF YOURSELF TO ENTER THIS LAND! HE WHO OWNS THE LAND PROMISES THE LAND TO ALL. THE PURCHASE WAS MADE WITH HIS BLOOD AND HE EARNESTLY INVITES ALL TO ENTER INTO IT. THE BRIDEGROOM (JESUS) FURNISHES YOU WITH ALL THE MEANS OF DOING SO. 4. Psalm 139:23,24 - "Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my anxious thoughts and see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way." Observation: THE ENEMIES WHICH DEFEAT ME ARE HIDDEN AND LATENT WITHIN ME. THE HOLY SPIRIT MUST EXPOSE MY FOES BEFORE I CAN CONQUER THEM! AM I TOO PROUD OR TOO INSECURE TO ADMIT I NEED HELP? John 10:10 - "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The Holy Spirit, the Helper, is ready to give out gifts and is giving out gifts to those who are ASKING, KNOCKING, and SEEKING and BELIEVING that God will do what He says He will do. Divine increase abounds right and left. Curses will be broken and blessings of God will be released. AFFIRMATIONS: I CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS COME THAT I MIGHT HAVE, KEEP, AND CONSTANTLY RETAIN A VITALITY, GUSTO, VIGOR, AND ZEST FOR LIVING THAT SPRINGS UP FROM DEEP DOWN INSIDE ME. IM TAKING MY EYES OFF THE LOW ROAD, AND I'M HEADED FOR THE HIGH ROAD OF BLESSING GOD HAS PLANNED FOR ME! "But You are holy, O You Who dwell in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered]." - Psalm 22:3 AMP God wants you tuned-in to His frequency, as you allow His bright glory cloud of light to envelop your life. Ask yourself these questions: What is the consistency of your praise to God? How easy is it for you to praise God? Where is your level of praise? Do you have a hard time voicing praise to God? Are you subdued under heaviness? God "inhabits" the praises of His people. If you are not praising and giving thanks to God, then there is no praise to be inhabited. God's presence is true substance and life. Give God some praise to inhabit! Create a steady diet of praise in your life. Our voice, like a sword, is to decree and manifest His Kingdom and will in the earth. Because of this, there is always an attack on your ability to praise, prophesy and release God's presence through your voice. God is wanting to invade theearth through your voice! 5. "The Spirt of the Lord is upon me because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised." - Luke 4:18 God is bringing us to a place where we know the Spirit of the Lord is upon us. If we have not got to that place, God wants to bring us to the fact of what Jesus said in John 14, "...I will prayer the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever." Because the Spirit of the Lord came upon Him who is our head, we must see to it that we receive the same anointing and that the same Spirit is upon us. DWELLING IN HIM There is no limit as to what we may become if we dwell and live in the Spirit. In the Spirit of prayer, we are taken from earth right away into heaven. We feel as we speak in the Spirit that the fire which burned in the hearts of the two men on their way to Emmaus (Luke 24: 13-32), when Jesus walked with them, is burning in our heart. It is sure to come to pass when we walk with Him, our hearts will burn -- it is the same power of the Spirit. They could not understand it then, but a few hours later they saw Him break the bread, and their eyes were opened. LIVING IN THE SPIRIT There is a place where the Holy Ghost can put us where we cannot be anywhere else but in the Spirit. But if we breathe His thoughts into our thoughts, and live in the unction of the Holy Spirit as He lived, then there will be evidences that we are in Him; and His works we will do. "To know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God." -- Ephesians 3:19 "Filled with God" means you are emptied of self, leaving no room for doubting or fearing. You are filled with love, and perfect love casts out fear. LIVING IN ABUNDANCE If we will only live in the Spirit and the unction of the Spirit, there will be no lack. There is only lack where faith is not substance. If we will obey the Lord there is nothing He will not give us since He has given us Jesus. The Spirit will have to reveal to us that fact that, because He has given us Jesus, He has given us ALL THINGS. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: Am I willing to lay down all that I may have God's all? Am I willing to seek and don't stop seeking (Matthew 7:7,8) until I know the Spirit of the Lord is upon me? Am I willing to cry out to Him until the Glory of the Lord is upon me? 7. Ephesians 2:10 - "For we are God's own workmanship, recreated in Christ Jesus, that we may do those good works which God predestined for us, that we should walk in them." 2 Corinthinas 3:18 - "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." Seeing His glory is more than just seeing His beautiful colors and majesty of His person. The glory of the Lord is described in a number of ways in Scripture, such as: 1. His Works 2. His Nature 3. His Power By seeing His nature, we are transformed into the same nature. By seeing His works, we are empowered to do His work. By seeing His power we grow in the faith that releases His power. GENERAL RULE: IF YOU ARE DRAWN TO A CERTAIN PART OF THE LORD'S NATURE, PURSUE IT! 1. If we are called to be a pastor or shepherd, we will perceive His glory as the Good Shepherd. A shepherd will tend to see Jesus' shepherding nature in everything Jesus did and will be transformed into that aspect of His glory by this. 2. Likewise, someone who is called to be a teacher will see Jesus' glory as the Teacher in everything He did, and this will transform and impart to them His teaching nature. 3. An evangelist will tend to see Jesus' glory in the Evangelist in all that He did, and they will be likewise transformed into that part of His nature. As the Scriptures verify, we were know by God and CALLED by Him before the foundation of the world. When He made us, He made us with a purpose, and thatCALLING in Christ is over and above our secular vocation: 1. If we are called to a teaching ministry, few things will be as rewarding as seeing people receive understanding about the Lord and His ways. 2. If we are called to a healing ministry, few things will be as rewarding as seeing someone healed. 3. If we are called to prophetic ministry, receiving revelation from the Lord will be one of the most fulfilling things that can happen to us, and so on...... QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: 1. What is it about Jesus that attracts me to Him the most? 2. What is it that He did that I would love to be able to do the most? Affirmations: BY KNOWING HIM, BEHOLDING HIM, AND FOLLOWING HIM, THERE IS A TRANSFORMATION AND IMPARTATION THAT RELEASES HIS AUTHORITY IN ME. MY BASIC PURPOSE IS TO LOVE GOD, BECOME LIKE HIM, AND DO THE WORKS HE PREDESTINED FOR ME. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
