Omegaman 3.0 posted a topic in Controversial IssuesThere is an article that goes into it with interesting detail here: https://answersingenesis.org/astronomy/stars/are-stars-lining-september-23-lords-return/?utm_source=articlesmedia&utm_medium=email&utm_content=featurebutton1&utm_campaign=20170923&mc_cid=59ecea6a0f&mc_eid=19b4377170 Also, I cannot help but wonder, about the alignment of stars on the dome over the flat earth. If anyone from that camp knows . . . Is there a dome over the top, or could it be a cylindrical cover, and we just can't see the corners, because they are not sharp enough to leave noticeable lines? Also, did I hear that some think the moon is a disk, not a sphere also? I was thinking about that yesterday, and took pictures of a que ball and a jar lid: I guess I was feeling mischievous. It is interesting to note though, how the shape of a ball, in 3D space, has shadows and light parts, that resemble how the moon looks in our sky, compared with how a disk looks, as it changes angles in relation to the sun.
I was inspired to start a new thread only because I do find interest in the topic. Often times there will be certain segments of people that will say the Earth is flat. I don't ascribe to this thinking but would like to hear from those that think this is a possibility. I do have something to ask though. When looking at the sun and the moon, we see sphere shaped objects. Why would Earth be different? Is it also your belief that the sun and moon revolve around the Earth. I have also heard this with those that believe in a flat earth. Admins, I'm unsure if this post will be moved because it is slightly controversial. But then again it would have been controversial to say the earth was a sphere at one point. So maybe this is just a general discussion now...LOL
