  2. Hello guys my name is Francois and I have a serious problem of being tempted many times of watching pornography please help me every day I pray telling God that I will never do it again but temptation still continues and I'm feeling depressed and guilty and ashamed for that bad habit Please help me pray for me and tell me how many times God can forgive you the same sin ?????????
  3. Good on Paul for addressing the dangers of temptation, deception, and corruption. "Seduction by any means" could well be Satan's motto. If he can lure new or careless converts by the preaching of another Jesus, and get them to receive another spirit, and accept another gospel, then such converts will be useless and unfit for the bride of Christ. 2Co 11:1-4 (1) Would to God you could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. (2) For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. (3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (4) For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him. I have the same concern as Paul when I come across professing Christians who are following a false Jesus, manifesting a counterfeit spirit, and giving credence to a false gospel. Good on Paul for coming against the ministers of Satan who were subverting his converts while disguising themselves as ministers of Christ. 2Co 11:12-15 (12) But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. (13) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. (14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. Paul could have just adopted the attitude that once sinners were converted to Christ nothing can undo that, but instead he warns against the kind of deception that innocent Eve sucumbed to, the kind of deception that starts with seduction and results in corruption. There is an "absoluteness" in Christ that is not to be found in anything or anyone else, and Paul was concerned that the Corinthians who had begun following Christ would become less than single-minded in their discipleship, not content with the simplicity of pure and sincere devotion to Him. It's the same today...seduction by any means to corrupt the minds of vulnerable Christians from the simplicity that is in Christ. Not you though I hope and pray!
  4. One of the hardest things in the life of a believer is to endure and overcome evil temptations. We were called to follow the steps of the Lord Jesus... "For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”" - 1 Peter 2:21-22 The Lord knows of all our weaknesses and He wants to heal us, so that we can live much better. "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." - Mark 2:17 It is much easier to give up and do evil then: Why should I be striving to endure temptation? "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. " - James 1:12 Another question is: Why would any believer desire to lose to evil? "It is written again, You shall not tempt the Lord your God." - Matthew 4:7 The answer is: A believer would not want to lose. "...for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find" - Romans 7:18 Good news: Now you can! "I thank God - through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin." - Romans 7:25 Is it God's will that I give up to evil temptation? Definitely no. "Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed." - James 1:13-14 Consequently, evil temptations are there to be overcome by the Children of God. "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." - Romans 12:21 "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith." - 1 John 5:3-4 Many people simply do not know how to overcome temptations, then the answer is: Faith, knowledge and love. "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." - 1 Corinthians 10:13 Faith in the Word of God, defeat the evil with faith in the truth, working through love. And I say love, because without love it is impossible. Then pray that the love for the Lord is shed on you heart more abundantly, and for more wisdom and knowledge of the truth. "Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." - Romans 5:5 "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails." - 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 Love, which in this case means the Spirit of God in you... Causes His Word, which is truth, and the Spirit to work together, and consequently, come to life. If one has the Word but not the Love for it, then they will not succeed but will always be overcome by evil. "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. " - 1 John 2:15-17 Do not worry, you may lose a few fights against evil temptations, but if you pray and focus on not failing the next time... "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9 You will soon overcome it, and then it will no longer be a challenge for you. "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. ...Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." - John 8:34+36 "...If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:31-32 "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen." - 2 Corinthians 13:14 God bless you all in Jesus' name! Amen.
  5. Praying to Break Habits? - Prayer "Shift" for Effectiveness (Tip) James 4:17 If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them. 1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Mark 7:20 He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. 21 For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 5:17 All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 2 Timothy 3:1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. Matthew 5:48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Genesis 4:7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” James 1:15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Matthew 5:28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 1 John 3:6 No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. 7 Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning.
  6. Matthew 4:1 - "Jesus was the led away by the Spirit into the wilderness, to be tempted by the devil." THE WORD "TEMPTED" ACTUALLY MEANS "TESTED OR PROVEN IN ADVERSITY." BEFORE JESUS WAS LED TO DO WONDERS, HE WAS LED TO DO BATTLE. THE FATHER PROVED THE CHARACTER OF HIS SON THROUGH CONFLICT. IT IS IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE THAT WHAT GOD HAS TAUGHT US IS TESTED. LIFE CONSISTS OF LEARNING LESSONS AND PASSING TESTS. THE INTEGRITY OF GOD REQUIRES THAT OUR LEARNING NOT BE MERE HEAD KNOWLEDGE, BUT THAT OUR HEART BE CONFORMED TO CHRIST SO THAT CHRIST WILL BE SOMETHING WE INSTINCTIVELY CHOOSE IN THE MIDST OF TEMPTATION OR BATTLE. Ecclesiastes 3:1 - "To every and a time to every purpose under the heaven." GOD DOES NOT DEAL WITH TIME; HE DEALS WITH TIMING. SOMETIMES THERE ARE SOME DIVINELY PERMITTED DELAYS IN MANIFESTING WHAT YOU'RE BELIEVING GOD FOR: ie. HE PERMITS THINGS NOT TO COME TO PASS UNTIL HE CAN GET YOU IN A CERTAIN POSITION.thing there is a season, IF YOU ARE FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH -- CERTIFYING AND CONFIRMING YOUR FAITH WITH THE WORD OF GOD AND STANDING FIRM UPON IT -- AND THERE IS A DELAY, THAT IS NOT THE TIME TO LET GO OF YOUR FAITH AND GIVE UP! THE DEVIL WILL TRY TO DECEIVE YOU INTO THINKING YOUR FAITH IS NOT WORKING OR THAT GOD IS NOT GOING TO COME THROUGH FOR YOU. Affirmations: I'M NOT MOVED BY WHAT I SEE. I'M NOT MOVED BY WHAT I FEEL. I'M ONLY MOVED BY THE WORD OF GOD. I BELIEVE GOD SAID WHAT HE MEANT, AND I BELIEVE GOD MEANT WHAT HE SAID. Proverbs 3:5 - "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. " "He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, from his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water."- (John 7:38)AMP As Believers in Jesus Christ we walk in and release a supernatural, prophetic river of life (see John 7:38). It is already flowing through us. The reality of the new creation is this: When a person is born again, the Spirit of Jesus comes and takes up residence inside. From that moment forward, new life flows out of that person like a river of living water. The new life that flows through us makes it possible for the Kingdom of God to touch the earth. AS FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST: We are called to bear good fruit and fruit that remains (see John 15:16), We are called to listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying (see John 16:13) and echo it in a meaningful, relatable way. Let him who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying (see Revelation 2:7). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Matthew 6:13 - "And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." There is no temptation or sin in heaven. This prayer does not imply that God wants to tempt us. We know from James 1:13 that it is impossible for God to entice us to sin. This kind of praying is important because it requires us to face our need for grace. It helps us to align our heart with heaven -- one of absolute dependency on God. The phrase "deliver us from evil", as it is traditionally rendered, actually means, "deliver us from the evil one." A heart modeled after heaven has great success in spiritual warfare. Jesus was able to say, "satan has nothing in me." The believer is to be completely free from all satanic influence and attachments. That is the cry voiced in this prayer. James 4:7 - "So be subject to God. Resist the devil (stand firm against him), and he will flee from you." Colossians 1:12,13 - "Giving thanks unto the Father ...Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son." Many believers limit God without even realizing it by training their eyes on the limited resources of this world rather than the unlimited riches of God's Kingdom. Their faith fails when they think of the troubled economy on the earth or of the scarcity that surrounds them. The Bible says God has "delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son." To be translated means to be taken out of one place and put into another. In other words, your citizenship is not primarily of this earth...you are first and foremost a citizen of the Kingdom of God. That means this planet doesn't have any right to dictate to you whether your needs are met or not. The Bible says God will meet your needs according to His riches in glory! (Philippians 4:19) AFFIRMATIONS: I wake up to the fact that I've been translated out of a world of poverty into a kingdom of abundance. Heaven's unlimited resources are available to me! John 8:32 - "If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free." Some have thought being nice was of the same essence as knowing the truth. It is not. We can thank our parents that we are nice but, if we would know the truth, we must seek God and be willing to obey Him. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
