  1. Daily Reading 72 If you prefer, you can look up the following verses in your own Bible, or by whatever means and in whichever version you choose. Matthew 14:22-36 Leviticus 22-23 Proverbs 31 Audio 4:14 Audio 4:41 Audio 2:50 The above verse addresses are linked to Bible Gateway. That is an easy way to read (or listen to) the Bible verses, and choose your version. Personally, I prefer written, that way I can go at my own pace, and think about it, before moving on. Nothing wrong with doing either or both. The Bible says faith comes by hearing. See the picture below to get an idea of what to expect if you follow the above links. Note: The audio will not play the exact verses, it will play the whole chapters, in which the verses exist. Thank you Lord for making the your word so accessible for us in these times. Amen
  2. Ephesians 3:19 - "And to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fulness of God." THERE IS A PLACE GREATER THAN KNOWLEDGE WHERE WE ABIDE IN CHRIST'S LOVE. THIS IS, INDEED, THE STRONGHOLD OF GOD. IT IS A PLACE WHERE OUR KNOWLEDGE OF GOD IS FULFILLED WITH THE SUBSTANCE OF GOD. WE CANNOT TRULY KNOW GOD WITHOUT, IN SOME WAY, ALSO EXPERIENCING HIS PERSON. WE MUST SEEK HIM UNTIL WE PASS THROUGH OUR KNOWLEDGE INTO AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE ALMIGHTY. WE MUST LEARN HOW TO LISTEN TO HIM; AS WE HEAR, OUR CALL IS TO THEN ASCEND HIGHER TO THE DWELLING PLACE OF LOVE THAT FLOODS OUR BEING WITH HIMSELF. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 - "May the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." Observation: WHEN THE WORD OF GOD IS ABIDING IN ME AND FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, IT WORKS ON ME FIRST BEFORE IT WORKS ON MY CIRCUMSTANCES, "SEPARATING" MY SPIRIT, MY SOUL (MIND, WILL, AND EMOTIONS), AND MY BODY AND GETTING MY SPIRIT INTO A POSITION WHERE I CAN HEAR GOD WITHOUT THE INFLUENCE OF MY SOUL OR BODY. Ephesians 1:17,19,20 - "That He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him. And so that you can know and understand what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength. Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places." The Holy Spirit within the believer ministers truth by revelation. In other words, it is revealed, not figured out. God does not talk to our brains! He speaks to the spirit of man. Jesus never said that water would flow out of your head, but that, "Out of your innermost being would flow rivers of living water." John 7:36 This is the ultimate Christianity -- communication and communion with the Holy Spirit, knowing more and more about Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Affirmation: I KNOW THE MIRACLE OF RESURRECTION FOR ME IS -- JESUS IS THE POWER AND THE POWER IS ALWAYS PRESENT -- THAT SAME POWER THAT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD, ENABLES ME TO RISE OUT OF MY ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCES AND STEP INTO THE PURPOSES OF GOD FOR MY LIFE. 3. Matthew 6:13 - "But deliver us from evil." THE WORD "EVIL" REPRESENTS THE ENTIRE CURSE OF SIN UPON MAN. "PONEROS", THE GREEK WORD FOR EVIL, CAME FROM THE WORD "PONOS," MEANING PAIN. AND THAT WORD CAME FROM THE ROOT WORD "PENES," MEANING POOR. To Summarize: EVIL-SIN, PAIN (SICKNESS), AND POOR (POVERTY). JESUS DESTROYED THE POWER OF SIN, SICKNESS, AND POVERTY THROUGH HIS REDEMPTIVE WORK ON THE CROSS. Psalm 23:4,5 - "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil: my cup runneth over." OBSERVATION: Because God is with me, every adversity I face will unfold in victory as I maintain my faith in God! The battle I am in will soon become a meal to me, an experience that will nourish and build me up spiritually. John 13:8 -- Peter said to Him, "You shall never wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me." Once we have received Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are bathed all over, and cleansed by His blood once and for all eternity! His blood has perfected us forever (Hebrews 10:14), and we only need to wash our feet because we walk in the world and our feet pick up dust and dirt, causing us to stumble. Ephesians 5:25-26 tells us that "Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word." We, the church, are cleansed with the washing of water by the Word. The more we come under anointed teaching that unveils Christ through the Word, the more the cleansing goes on. And as our feet are washed, instead of stumbling, we will be walking and even running! Affirmation: I LET JESUS WASH MY FEET WITH A DEEPER REVELATION OF HIMSELF THROUGH HIS WORD. John 3:6 - "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Observation: IF I AM TRYING TO DEAL WITH GOD OUT OF MY HEAD OR OUT OF MY FEELINGS, THEN WHAT I AM DOING IS TRYING TO DEAL WITH GOD OUT OF MY FLESH. John 4:24 - "God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Mark 4:26,27 - "Jesus went on to say, 'The Kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed in his field. He sleeps at night, is up and about during the day, and all the while the seeds are sprouting and growing. Yet he does not know how it happens."' Turn away from anything that would take preeminence over your time with the Master Gardener. Allow Jesus to uproot anything in your field that hinders growth. Jesus provides water from His pierced side and again, as He promised, "You will be like a well-watered field, like a spring whose waters never fail." Living Water, "reign" down on us! Our Father promises in Revelation 21:6, "I will give to the thirsty the springs of the Water of Life--as a gift!" He says only to whose who are thirsty will He give that gift. Observation: The word is a seed that contains the very life of God. When it's planted in my heart and left there, it will release that life. God's best is for me to take the seed of His word and plant it in my heart where it will naturally and effortlessly produce the changes that I desire. John 15:7,8 - "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples." 1 Kings 19:10 - And he said, "I have been very zealous for the Lord, the God of hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Thy covenant, torn down Thine altars and killed Thy prophets with the sword. And I alone am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. " IN HIS DEJECTION, ALONE AND HURTING, ELIJAH WITHDREW INTO A CAVE IN MT. HOREB. FOR US, SELF-PITY CAN ALSO BECOME A SPIRITUAL CAVE. IT CAN TRAP US IN A DARK HOLE OF LONELINESS AND PAIN. IN THIS PLACE OF ISOLATION WE FAIL TO HEAR THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF GOD; ALL WE REALLY HEAR IS THE ECHO OF OUR OWN VOICE MAGNIFYING AND DISTORTING OUR PROBLEMS. Song of Solomon 3:9 - "King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon." THE SON OF GOD MADE HIMSELF A CHARIOT OF HIS HUMANITY. THE THRONE OF THE KING OF KINGS IS MADE OF THE WOOD OF LEBANON. CHRIST CONSTRUCTS A THRONE FOR HIMSELF IN EVERY PERSON. HE ADORNS THIS THRONE IN GREAT SPLENDOR SO THAT HE MIGHT REIGN THERE. HE BOUGHT THIS PLACE WITHIN YOU WITH HIS BLOOD. BY HIS GRACE THIS THRONE IS MADE HOLY. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. John 13:8 -- Peter said to Him, "You shall never wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me." Peter could not imagine Jesus wanting to wash his feet -- his shocked reaction being "Lord, how can You wash my feet!" Jesus says to him: "Peter, if I don't wash your feet, you have no part with Me." What the Lord was actually saying to Peter was, "Peter you cannot walk together with Me in ministry, in service, and in effectiveness if you don't let Me wash your feet." John 13:9,10 -- "Then, Lord, Simon Peter replied, 'not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!' Jesus answered, 'A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And your are clean.....'" Once we have received Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are bathed all over, and cleansed by His blood once and for all eternity! His blood has perfected us forever (Hebrews 10:14), and we only need to wash our feet because we walk in the world and our feet pick up dust and dirt, causing us to stumble. HOW DOES JESUS WASH OUR FEET TODAY? Ephesians 5:25-26 tells us that "Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word." We, the church, are cleansed with the washing of water by the Word. The more we come under anointed teaching that unveils Christ through the Word, the more the cleansing goes on. And as our feet are washed, instead of stumbling, we will be walking and even running! Affirmation: I LET JESUS WASH MY FEET WITH A DEEPER REVELATION OF HIMSELF THROUGH HIS WORD.
