If it just circulates on the internet it isn't going to accomplish anything. And some of these 'petitions' sell names and e-mail addresses too. I always give bogus information. You should be skeptical as well; I went back and read every word and NOWHERE does the site state that the petiton will be presented to representatives, the President, anyone in government or the media. I'm not understanding the purpose; I do agree with the principles however. If it doesn't go anywhere or make a statement about how we feel and how many of us feel that way.....it's simply a waste of time and a huge database of first and last names with e-mail addresses.
