He changes us-and gives us a new nature-we become new creations who want, above all, to please our heavenly Father. Those things that used to tempt us lose their hold on our lives as we become closer and closer to Him. We love Him because He first loved us and gave Himself for us. He chose us, before the foundation of the world. He knew us from the beginning of time. He writes His name on our hearts. When God looks at us He sees Jesus.
