We are the High Priest (as one with Christ) and priests (as members of the body) on the order of Melchizedek. Since we are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, we ought to be descended of a priestly line, yet we are not of the tribe of Levi. On the other hand we are priests of the order of Melchizedek. The BrideOne needs to understand the Bride to understand who we are as the Church and part of the Bridegroom. The Bride is Jerusalem. Jerusalem is a word which encompasses the 12 tribes of Israel before the coming of Jeshua the Messiah. Jerusalem has a mother, and the mother is Zion, the Holy Mountain of the Lord. Zion is sometimes substituted for Jerusalem as a name, and this can result in some confusion if the bulk of the evidence is not weighed versus those incidents.
