Someone has to pay for it at some point. And, if the financial incentive for doctors and researchers is removed, there is no motivation for change and improvement. Imagine the DMV running the health care system. the DMV is much better here in Oklahoma than it was when I got my first license. And thanks to some tax structure changes, it's cheaper too. What relevance does it have to today where we are dealing with Obamacare? When this was started it was a whole different health care system.
