The Temple Priests were not about to give up their cushy careers, their income and their power to some carpenter. Miracles or not.Look at the Roman Catholic Church and the soup they are in. Not ignorance, rebellion.Most people you witness too will also let you know it's not a matter of unbelief, but rather rebellion.Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.That message is about as simple as it gets, but a lot of folks don't like it. If that were the problem you would see more scandals of Priests with church members wives and daughters, with Priests visiting prostitutes. It's a matter of a few sick puppies getting in, finding a haven for depravity and then encouraging likewise oriented perverts to join because the Bishops would cover the sins up, pay hush money and move the perps to greener pastures. A ready made recipe for disaster. This has been going on for decades now, so more revelations and even more sick behavior will come out. This has to be a sign of the end times.
