Dear brother Antwi,

I understand you are in Ghana and knowing very well the West African context, I know that it is culturally impossible over there for a man to marry when he is not yet employed. (as opposed to the cultural context in Europe or America)

That being said, I would suggest you sit down with your fianc

You should concentrate to look for a job and God will give you one. However you must avoid to be with your finance in private places till you get the job. Then you will have no problem to get married.

Blessings

You can't have your cake and eat it too buddy. Why are you engaged if you are not ready to marry?

If you can't control yourselves get married. If you won't marry then do not put yourselves in any situation where you can sin.(don't be alone together)

and btw..the devil does not make us sin,the pursuit of desires does.

Jas 1:14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

Thanks for the advice!

I agree with agua and LadyC - "The Devil made me do it" excuse is as old as the hills. Do what Joseph did - RUN!

"Now flee from youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart." (2 Timothy 2:22)
