We're on the verge of a great, great depression

Wall Street is having a hard time figuring out what to do now that the U.S. economy appears to be sputtering and yields are so low, Peter Yastrow, market strategist for Yastrow Origer, told CNBC.

I can only see one glimmer of hope. If Congress were to put in place a concrete plan to reduce spending and to balance the budget, it would increase confidence among investors, and we would see a rebound. Since that appears unlikely, my expectations are for things to get much worse than they were during the great depression. I don't think this nation has ever experienced anything close to what we will face in days to come? We really need to pray, because we have officials that refuse to lead. They are more concerned with winning elections and coming up with political spin than they are trying to fix the problems we face.

I don't really expect Congress to do much. We had a watershed election last November, and people had some hope. Sadly, since then we've seen even modest proposals shot down and their proponents demonized.

In my opinion, we have reached "critical mass" - i.e. more people on some kind of government assistance than there are in the private sector. Since people won't vote to "cut" their own benefits, the only option left is for government spending to continue to increase until it hits a brick wall.

That "brick wall" is going to be a hard one, indeed.

Blessings!

Everything the Aristocracy stated as their ways and means plan to create a new world has and is unfolding on the world stage according to plan.

There have been far worse moments in history the people have endured then overcome and life went on much the same as before, just in a differant mode.

The heart of the King is in the hand of the Lord, and nothing transpires that God does not allow or ordain.

Rest assured in the providance of God.

Go back and look at some of my older comments on the subject. Be very, very careful. Buy gold and hide your money under your bed. Investing right now is dangerous.
