Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel! They looked up and saw a star Shining in the East beyond them far And to the earth it gave great light And so it continued both day and night. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel! And by the light of that same star Three Wise men came from country far To seek for a King was their intent And to follow the star wherever it went. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel! This star drew nigh to the northwest O'er Bethlehem it took its rest And there it did both Pause and stay Right o'er the place where Jesus lay. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel! Then entered in those Wise men three Full reverently upon their knee And offered there in His presence Their gold and myrrh and frankincense. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel! Then let us all with one accord Sing praises to our heavenly Lord That hath made Heaven and earth of nought And with his blood mankind has bought. Guest
My LORD And My God~! Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Ephesians 5:19 I Love You So O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Psalms 108:1-5 I Love You Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11 Happy Birthday Jesus~! Guest shiloh357
All this stuff about Christmas having pagan origins is a lot of hogwash. A lot of urban legends and conspiracy theories have arisen about the orgins of the Christmas and most of it is based on revisionist history. Luke 22:19 (KJV) 19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 1 Corinthians 11:24 (KJV) 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 1 Corinthians 11:26 (KJV) 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. A Puritan led controversy began during the English Interregnum, when England was ruled by a Puritan Parliament. [^ "Marta Patiño, The Puritan Ban on Christmas". Timetravel-britain.com. Retrieved 2011-02-24.] Puritans sought to remove the remaining pagan elements of Christmas. During this brief period, the Puritan led English Parliament banned the celebration of Christmas entirely, considering it "a popish festival with no biblical justification", and a time of wasteful and immoral behavior. [^ "Why did Cromwell abolish Christmas?". Oliver Cromwell. The Cromwell Association. 2001. Retrieved 2006-12-28.] In Colonial America, the Puritans outlawed celebration of Christmas in 1659.
