ok, so someone posted a thread about the best version of a christmas carol... let's expand that. what's your favorite christmas movies?

i love Jack Frost with michael keaton and kelly preston.

i really like Family Man with nicholas cage and tea leoni.

Ice Age: Continental Drift is sure to be a new classic, because scrat can do no wrong!

How the Grinch Stole Christmas with jim carey is an annual favorite in my house too.

this year i watched a couple of new ones so far... Christmas with Holly was a hallmark film, and it was kinda reminscent of three men and a baby (or the sequel, three men and a little lady.) but, it was way better than the three men movies, even though it had a similar theme. we all enjoyed it around here.

mom and i also watched Christmas Angel. it had della reese in it. wonderful movie, and it's on netflix.

and, my all time favorite that has to be watched every year, It's A Wonderful Life... the original one.

"Miracle in the Wilderness" - where a couple teaches the the birth of Jesus to a tribe of Native Americans, using symbolism they would understand, and through the experience the tribe learns about the love of God.

never heard of miracle in the wilderness, but that's why i posted this thread! now i gotta look that one up and watch it!

I like "Christmas with a Capital C", "The Ultimate Gift", "Home Alone", "The Christmas Card"

I like the classic too

LOVE the ultimate gift.... but even though it ends at christmas, i never think of it as a christmas movie. it spans a whole year. it is one of my favorites though.

couldn't make it through christmas with a capital C. i forget the guy's name that plays the lead, but i just think he's a lame actor.

i really like scrooged though. thinking about watching that again.

The acting in Christmas with a Capital C was... well not the best. But it had a clear message about Jesus Christ. But the story was good. :)

Have you seen "White Christmas"?
