I've warned before that this was what Paul talked about, but my thoughts on the matter have been largely ignored by the prevailing pre-millennialists here. This is Magogism, man casting off God and putting himself in the place of God and all religious forms. Read some of this nonsense and you should see what I'm getting at. It's not necessary to believe exactly as I do BTW. I'm not looking for 'followers' here. Just sounding a simple warning: Pre-millennialism is wrong. Guest shiloh357
You don't get it? OK...2 Thess 2: Man declaring himself to BE god. Is THAT plain enough? No, that is about A man declaring himself to be God. It is not a reference to mankind thinking that it is collectively god. Humanism has always seen man as the god of this world. That has been around since humanity has been around. II Thess. 2 is about a particular person taking divinity to himself. You have this bad habit of always imbelleshing and misrepresenting things when it comes to justifying your eschatological beliefs.

You are right though, people are putting themselves in the position of gods and putting themselves in a metaphorical temple, so I could see why people believe they could all just be the antichrist. It is very sad what is happening to humanity. I wonder if things are as bad as they were in the days of Noah.
