Jumping up in the morning, grabbing your clothes and running into the kitchen, which the door was always blocked with blankets to keep in the warmth, just to get dressed while the smell of breakfast filled the air. Peeking outside, we had to first scrape the ice off the windows. We use to have to keep an eye out for the milkman so we could bring in the milk before it froze. Yup, sure am spoiled these days!
